The food is consistently delicious. The food definitely tastes fresh and i love the way they season the food. Like, i don't usually like brussel sprouts but i eat them here because of the way they season it lol. There are alot of options for the bowls. read more

Our first time here. The staff was helpful in explaining the options. 2,4,6. Basically kid size, two bases, a protein and a veg or two bases, two proteins and two veg. We got the four but really wanted two vegetables instead of one so that was wasn't great. Food Bowl one-sweet potato noodles, rice, string beans, bbq chicken Bowl two- quinoa, kale slaw, string beans, almond crusted chicken Both proteins were very good. Chicken wasn't dry. All the bases were good too. The string beans were surprisingly a little spicy. If you don't like raw-ish crunchy string beans, these are not for you. Also portions are small so consider the 6 unless you're not very hungry. Drinks- I accidentally got a black cherry sparking water which was bad and wished I'd seen they had a variety of fountain drinks. Space-The seating wasn't very comfortable, and the rose and grass print tables didn't really seem to work. read more

I've had my eye on this place, I think it's been open a short time. Fresh kitchen yes but no mention of organic, but organic is rare. Lunch and dinner only $10 can't beat that! You get 2 base 2 proteins 2 veggies for that price and all the veggies look excellent. First time there I have ordered Veggie Quinoa, kale slaw, mushrooms, roasted brussels sprouts with chia tofu and Almond chicken. All the selections are delightfully seasoned. Healthier than most places and sinfully yummy! Definitely my new weekly grab & go joint! read more

Fresh Kitchen - Hum hum - New American Near Me - Sarasota, Florida

Went here around the time of the grand opening. Quick serve restaurant, fresh ingredients. I got the pre made buffalo bowl which was very health conscious. Had chicken, grain rice, buffalo cauliflower (which was cooked perfectly) and another ingredient or two. It was excellent and last two meals. I would def go back of looking for a healthy lunch option. I would prob try the seared tuna next time read more

I ate at Fresh Kitchen 3 times in the 4 days I was in Sarasota. The food here is crazy good, healthy, and my kid loved it so it was a pretty easy choice. The kale slaw, coconut rice and brussel sprouts were my favorite. It's actually making me kind of sad knowing that I won't have this beautiful mix of deliciousness again for a while. Plenty of parking available right behind the restaurant. read more

This is like a gluten free and Vegetarian smorgasbord which makes it easy to bring a variety of friends! I will definitely load up even more next time on the sweet potatoes and Turkey. They also have some really cool unsweetened iced tea flavors! read more

This newly opened place has a great concept- providing healthy, nutritious, and tasty build your own bowls for a decent price and made quickly. However, I think that they still need to work out the kinks and improve the execution. You get to choose either a chefs special bowl or create your own bowl with 2 bases and 1 or 2 veggies and protein and sauce. While there is a large variety for the bases (I got a delicious chilled quinoa and kale), I wish that they had more options for the veggies. The veggie options are all roasted, and I wish they would have some fresh veggies. What I did like was that they had poke tuna as a protein option ($1.50 add on), but again, I think some fresh veggies would go better with it than mushrooms or Parmesan broccoli would. In terms of flavor, a lot of the cooked additions were burnt. My brother had steak which was a little burnt, as were the mushrooms and broccoli. The roasted Brussel sprouts I had as my veggie add on were undercooked and hard to chew. However, the poke tuna was really fresh and delicious. Overall, this is a great option if you want a quick, healthy lunch, and hopefully they will improve the food preparation a little! read more

Really tasty on every level except those damn veggies they can't perfect. The broccoli is undercooked ...and all stems, buffalo cauliflower undercooked and not great buffalo sauce, the carrots were tasty but hard as they too were undercooked. The Brussel sprouts are their genius veggie item and they were out today. Grrrr. Bases are Delish. My go to is brown rice and kale. Add brussel sprout or green beans and coconut sriracha sauce. The sauces are 5 star worthy. Holy kale is holy heaven, sriracha coconut enters my dreams at night, balsamic is drinkable. This food is so good I drive to Lakewood ranch to get it. The only other thing that brings me here is Total Wine. 4 stars is because uncooked veggies = meh and they don't give you the nutritional breakdown. Is it really healthy? read more

It's ok for the price. Basically tastes like food I could make at home but will get when I want a break from cooking, don't want to break the bank, and want to eat fairly healthy. At least they've got a couple thinga going for them. Still there are other places I'd choose first. read more

Excellent restaurant and FRESH is true about everything. Great options for a delicious meal: grains, greens, veggies, meat protein, fresh extras like pesto tomatoes (yum!). I was hesitant on a sauce so the server suggested the ginger and it was outstanding. I had the chopped kale and rice noodles for the base, mushrooms for the veggie and grilled chicken; the tomatoes ramped the whole thing up to high perfection. Easy to choose, servers were so helpful. My first visit, but not my last! read more

My favorite for a healthy lunch and quick meal! I do the build my own bowl every time and never get tired of it!

Ok. Now I've got it. Two (2) things. 1. I travel for business 2. I hardly know anything about Tampa dining even though I live here. There is a Fresh Kitchen in SoHo and when I always have driven by I say "what's all the brouhaha here must be another Tampa trend" because I see all the so-called edgy people walking into it. The fresh kitchen in SoHo is more hip, it's not in a storefront or a newer brick and mortar, it's in a shanty. So, I'm traveling through Sarasota and wanted to grab dinner, and I see there's a Fresh Kitchen but didn't put two and two together. I check out Fresh Kitchen online, and it's basically the same concept as Bolay, which I eat a ton of over in West Palm Beach. I'm very glad I found something similar on the west coast, because this place is awesome! Very fast, very convenient. All of the ingredients are fresh and well prepared. I'm one of those jerks who can eat a ton and not gain weight, so I get their 6 bowl, which is to bases, two vegetables, two proteins (ie meat) and so forth. BBQ chicken is very so worth it and actually mixes well with the cauliflower mash. I would take note from your competition. No Brussels sprouts?! Totally need to add those to your vegetable line-up. As mentioned, the cauliflower mash is extremely exciting. Therefore, I'd say this is the best bowl establishment in the Sarasota area, at least around UTC. And, henceforth, I'll be making my way to a Fresh Kitchen in Tampa! read more

What a great concept. And healthy fresh flavorful similar to chipotle.this place looks like it would be Paleo friendly. Pick your bases like kale , Quinoa, rice. And then you pick your veggies proteins and sauces. It's a great place to come if you want to eat clean and get flavorful food and a quick service fashion. read more

LOVE this place! Right up my alley, gluten and dairy free. Portion sizes are perfect! Everything I got was delicious. All the meats are flavorful and tender. The steak was amazing! Can't wait to come back. read more

I love fresh kitchen! This was my first time trying it, and it was amazing. Everything is super delicious and healthy. I recommend the tuna and the sweet potato noodles. Definitely a new favorite place to eat! read more

Fresh Kitchen - Sweet potato noodles, sweet potato mash, Brussels sprouts, tuna, and herb balsamic dressing! - New American Near Me - Sarasota, Florida

This restaurant and idea is genius! Fresh and healthy food cooked right in front of you and you get to make your own bowl or meal.... How could you not love this place. For this type of eating establishment (think upscale malls, tourist areas, Nyc street) I give a top rating as the whole concept is perfect. The owners have multiple locations and other more formal restaurants. I only hope they branch out some more in the New York and northern NJ area as the market is there! Great food and a fun atmosphere to grab lunch! read more

It's a healthy, slightly more expensive version of Chipotle. And it's located near LA Fitness, so you can get your clean post-workout meal. Like any other build-your-own place, service is reasonably quick and you can easily customize your orders. I ordered the 4 bowl I really love the food's flavors. My coconut rice was creamy without being greasy, the brussel sprouts were perfectly grilled so the edges were slightly crispy (and still not greasy), the kale salad was nice and clean, without any bitter stems. My poke, for an extra $1.50 had a similar sauce to the coconut rice flavor. My only complaint is that the protein portion is minuscule. Maybe I've been spoiled by a plethora of poke places in Southern California, but if I'm going to pay an extra $1.50 for poke, I expect a respectable size. Instead, I got a small(er?) scoop of poke that was didn't really stand up against the 3 other sides. And many of you fellow fitness friends understand when I would like a higher protein ratio to carbs. I finished my bowl still hungry. Maybe next time I'll choose the 6 bowl, which comes with 2 proteins, and opt for the standard meat/tofu. read more

Fresh Kitchen - Wish the protein portion were bigger, especially since poke costs an extra $1.50 - New American Near Me - Sarasota, Florida

I have no complaints after visiting Fresh Kitchen. The staff was helpful and the food was delicious!

This is one of my favorite places to eat in the Sarasota area. As a vegetarian, it's hard to find places to eat with a really good selection. Fresh Kitchen has wonderful options, but everyone I have gone with eat meat and they also have plenty of options as well. EVERYTHING I have eaten there has been absolutely amazing! I highly recommend! read more

Best place for catering. I work w Brittany in Sarasota and she's awesome to work w by text and the good is amazing. My offices love it!

Just opening up, but everything was amazing! The BBQ chicken was the most tasty, with the almond chicken second. The citrus grilled chicken was really good as well! Quinoa was delicious, as well as the kale and the sweet mashed potatoes! Yummy veggie choices like the broccoli & buffalo cauliflower, Brussels sprouts & eggplant! Delicious paleo cookies they let us taste! A little rushed through line, but that's the way it goes with order as you go restaurants! Awesome place!! Everything has great flavor and leaves you full! read more

I love this place, the food is always fresh and the staff is always happy. The seating sometimes can be a challenge, but there is out door and its shaded. Be prepared to make choices about your bowl size and the ingredients you may want to include in your bowl. We chose the set offerings because this was our first time and it was a little confusing. But if you're ready to choose among the many fresh food offerings for your bowl, dig in. Everything I had was tasty, although I thought they added too many broccoli to my bowl. Anyway, if you're looking to make your meal a little healthier than you may get other places, it's worth a try. It's not my ideal for every meal, but it's a good meal for when you feel guilty eating everywhere else. read more

First time in. I heard a lot about it. The food was great. It was the service that earned them 2 stars. As a first timer. I needed an little extra time which really seemed to annoy the staff. Instead of taking an extra minute to welcome me and explain the process to me as a first timer. I got attitudes that I wanted to take 5 seconds to look at all the vegetables before picking one. I wasn't taking a long time. Just looking everything over. Really 20 seconds at most and the girl rolls her eyes at me. Not the best first impression. Too bad because the food was very good. read more

Only giving two starts because I am used to Tampa location. Which is 100 times better. They only had steak to order and tenders to order. Didn't feel like waiting. Citrus Sauce was really thick. The vegetables weren't roasted or cooked much at all. They didn't close my to go box so when I took the top box out that was for a client it spilled in the bag. Tampa and St Pete locations are awesome!!! This one not so good Manager did contact me and correct situation. So it's good to know if you have an issue they read these reviews read more

This place is great especially when you are being health conscious or dieting. Pressed juices and coffee drinks are delicious, food is very flavorful for how healthy, only thing is I feel like I spend $20 on just myself for lunch which is a little crazy. Still worth it (every so often) food is great! read more

I could go to this place daily and I think I managed four trips in one week. Delicious food. Huge servings. Healthy options. My favorite proteins were the almond baked chicken and the BBQ chicken. They're delicious! If you aren't super hungry, consider the kid's meal. It's the perfect size for lunch. read more

This is how healthy food should be- YUMMY!! Great choices, well seasoned veggies and proteins and those dressings, omg! Yummy teas and frescas. This is my second time here and it's equally delicious. As I'm sitting here I see many gentlemen in line.. that's a bit unusual for a trendy healthy food place, it must say something about the wonderful flavor. Two thumbs up!! read more

I love fresh kitchen truly do.... but i have one major issue. For someone who counts calories and nutritional value ive searched high and low for the nutritional facts of fresh kitchen. Its not on the website unless im missing it. Im left to assume what im eating is truly healthy. I know the quality and flavor is amazing but all i want is Atleast a calorie breakdown of the menu. I dont understand why its not easily available. Again love fresh kitchen and the flavors , but without nutritional values i cant confirm any of the "health" factors claimed read more

Id like to know if FK going to become next Chipotle???You guys shooting to be awful as they are???? Been comin to this location since they opened it and at beginning was good, food was good, pricey but not bad comparing to whats around. Some nice ppl working there, few rotten apples but good in general. They see u 2-3 times a week there they appreciate it and they remember you and what u get normally, which makes a lot of difference and shows someone is noticing u as a client and what u order and at times suggest u new product if they have any..Great Job.. Food portion is just gettin smaller and smaller. 6 bowl -Now gets u 4 pieces of chicken/( almond baked chicken) meaning dbl chicken..Not sure whats dbl there but thers not even a 3 OZ of chicken. Before mngment left if they dont do as they supp to on dbl chicken they always bring u extra if u notify someone.I dont want anything free i just want what i pay.And dont tell me the size of the varies cuz its always same..4 lousy small pieces..Not cool.If u keep cutting chicken servings u will cut ur customers down to half.i have 5-6 ppl with families that come to eat here and that's everyones complain.servings are gettin smaller and smaller..I keep giving another try and another try but gets old.Even the current mngr that sits on the ipad while the kitchen is burning down told me that they always have done that many pieces of chicken when u order dbl..are u frekin kiddin me???Now i dont know wtf i m talking about...SAD read more

2 words: SIMPLY AMAZING! My co-worker and I stopped here on a work trip from Naples and were blown away. The food is delicious.. Fresh... Way better than expected. Their ginger lemonade is to die for! On our way home, 3 days later, we had to stop again for lunch! We ended up getting a family meal each to take home. The food has NO CHEMICALS, reasonable priced, wicked fresh, and an absolute fun place to dine in. We kept telling them to bring this idea to Naples... And to top it off, the staff was amazing. Especially BROOKE!! I ended up buying a t-shirt because it was insanely adorable too! Must go. Bottom line. read more

Great idea! The food is incredibly yummy and always healthy! I love "The Boss" green juice and the ahi tuna and steak are both awesome. I'd suggest using containers with little divots/dividers to separate the food. I love the ahi tuna & noodles but I don't want to separate it from the chicken/kale. The price is a bit high but the quality of food is definitely there. read more

After hearing nothing but rave reviews from friends, my husband and I finally tried this place out. In short: We went for lunch on Saturday and went back for lunch on Sunday. (And we live 30 minutes away.) For the healthy conscious and the gluten-free, this is as good as it gets. Lots of options (all gluten-free & dairy free) to create your own bowl of goodness. What I loved the most was the fact that every item was cooked and seasoned perfectly so that it was good all on its own, which is hard to come by when we're talking about veggies. I am obsessed with their grilled whole mushrooms. They taste like fried mushrooms without the breading. I could eat a bowl filled with nothing else. Also highly recommend the BBQ chicken, turmeric cauliflower, sweet potato rice noodles, coconut rice, kale slaw & the siracha coconut sauce. They also sell fresh juices & smoothies. We tried a green juice and a fresh almond milk. Both were delish. The staff is very friendly and will let you sample any item as you build your bowl, which is great because it's easy to get overwhelmed with all the options as a first timer. We will be back on a regular basis. Just wish it was closer! read more

Meh, this place is ok, but I wouldn't come back. Everything seemed a bit oily, the broccoli was totally undercooked (I can't stand when places don't know how to properly steam broccoli!!! It's so basic!!), and the coconut siracha sauce had zero flavor. You start by thinking your making a healthy choice, but several bites in when your mouth and lips are coated in oil, you know it's a wolf in sheep's clothing. read more
