When we asked the teachers what they would enjoy for a special snack during recess coverage, every single one said 3 Natives. Patrick, the owner, was wonderful to work with and made the entire process so easy. His team carefully prepared 7 beautiful acai bowls and 3 smoothies exactly to the teachers' requests, and everything was ready right on time when I arrived for pickup. They even added ice to my cooler to help keep everything fresh and cold for delivery, which was such a thoughtful touch. The acai bowls looked like edible art -- absolutely gorgeous and packed with fresh ingredients. While I was there, I grabbed myself a Pump smoothie, and it was delicious -- the perfect complement to my morning workout. I was especially impressed by how friendly and efficient the staff was. My smoothie was finished before I had even completed checking out for the teachers' order! The shop itself is spotless, welcoming, and has amazing AC, which is such a gift in the Florida heat. There are colorful bingo markers on the table. -Bring cash! There's an ATM at the front of the restaurant if you forget. -Someone comes around to your table each round, and you can buy as many cards as you want for that round. Each round uses a different color of paper and a different shape to win. -Cards are $1 each for the first few rounds and $2 for the last couple of rounds. The jackpot for the first couple of rounds was around $250! -The numbers are called out and shown on multiple screens all over the restaurant, so it's easy to keep up. As for dinner, we ordered: Blue crab fritters, onion smashburger, shrimp & grits, and seafood pasta. I would skip the seafood pasta but I LOVED the blue crab fritters! They were so tasty, lightly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with a great sauce on the side. The burger was also good, but the real winner was the fries.
