Also, the restaurant itself has such a fun, bright ambiance with pink and green color schemes and succulents decorated everywhere. You really get the west coast vibe when you're there. The only downside I can think of are all the mosquitos on the outside patio area, but then again, this IS Florida. Let me start by saying this is one of the best bowls I've ever eaten. Their quality is high their portions are decent and their flavors are vibrant. Part of the bowl craze seems to involve extra charges no matter what bowl place I go to. I'm not sure why we can't get a one price fits all bowl and why there has to be an extra dollar charge for certain proteins and certain sides and toppings. I got their largest size bowl called the six. This has two bases, two vegetables, two proteins and one sauce. Any protein besides chicken seems to be at least an extra dollar or more. After you've built your bowl and you get to the end you get one squirt of sauce included and any of the other 17 sides are extras all are priced from $.25 to over a dollar depending on what you want. This is where they lost me and I never understood this pricing structure especially for inexpensive toppings. Their largest bowl is $10 as it is and by the time you put some extras on there it's very easily a $15 bowl plus tax and then their drinks which our fountain drinks are $2.50 so you're talking about almost $18 for a bowl lunch with a soft drink on the side. Because of their pricing structure I took away one star and made it three stars. It has gotten to the point where they may want to charge you for a napkin or a fork. With that said I did enjoy the bowl I got the blackened chicken, barbecue chicken spinach salad and green rice base along with the roasted brussels sprouts and chickpeas. The food was excellent but please make a $12 bowl and allow me to pick and choose what I want and charge me a little bit of extra money off the bat instead of nickel and dime in me which just makes me feel like you're slowly cutting me from head to toe each time I want to select something new. For $18 for a bowl and a drink I could go to a sitdown restaurant with a linen tablecloth and linen napkins not an order here pay here and seat yourself bowl place. This is not unique to this particular restaurant as it is similar to Vail, and beehive. I will say that this place is better than the aforementioned. I really enjoyed my bowl but the way they price these things it's getting out of hand. read more

FK (I couldn't help it. Tee hee). Felt for some clean eating fast food and I guess we found it. It's tucked in a little plaza and even with Waze we made a few missed turns and ended up behind an auto service center. Just take your time and you will find it. The staff are young, vibrant and pleasant. The process to get your food is a lot like chipotle (enter, order and add condiments). I ordered the "6" which includes two proteins, two veggies and two bases. We got fish and chicken. Due to a shellfish allergy it's a relief that they didn't have shellfish options, but to each his own. The veggies were nicely made, the broccoli and cauliflower maintained their texture through the baking process. The chicken I found to be a bit salty but nothing that would make me return my food or complain about. They sauces are delicious and you can have a hint of it or saturate your bowl with them. They had a variety of fountain teas that were very tasty and self serve if you order a drink. Outside or indoor dining options are available so you can probably bring your pooch though I'm not sure. I love fresh kitchen! I'm so glad they opened one less than 10 min from my job. They have been my go to lunch place since. I converted to veganism last year and I love trying all their veggie and vegan options. Definitely full of flavor and always taste fresh. The sauces are also sooo yummy! I've been to a few cafeteria style restaurants that boast a healthy kitchen, but this is by far the best one. They put in a lot of effort into the interior and exterior, it's fully decorated and very cute, trendy, and young. They even have a turf outside seating area. The portions are big so don't feel obligated to purchase the biggest bowl option. And of course, everything is actually delicious. So this is an update for the original review, so fresh kitchen did reach out and offered to comp a few meals Which was very kind of them and the guy who called was very helpful and reassured that these issues would be fixed. Since then I have visited two more times and once again Not all proteins were available on top of the fore having close to no food in it they just they put the hot rice on top of the cold lettuce which makes no sense at all and will make the lettuce wilted now. Also there was food taken out of both of my bowls once again I can see this is the smallest bowl I've ever received from Fresh Kitchen it's a huge disappointment after being told these issues would be worked on nothing has changed read more

It's literally Bolay under a different name. Same food, same concept. Cute place. Can be healthy as you make it. My only problem here is that they do not have any premade menu options. I came here a few weeks ago as I was getting my hair done at the salon in that same plaza. Since it was my first time there, I was a bit overwhelmed. But the girl that served me walked me through it with patience and a very friendly attitude. With her help, I ended up building a bowl with sweet potato noodles, parmesan broccoli, and almond chicken, with cucumber jalapeño sauce. I added some salsa to it and it was absolutely DELICIOUS!!!! Just found this place today, while searching Yelp for a healthy vegetarian friendly place close by, glad I found it. The place is very aesthetically pleasing, new place that's big and bright, with outdoor and indoor seating, I like the color concept as well. When inside, you pick a bowl 4 or 6 bowl... 4 bowl has 2 bases, 1 protein and 1 veggie. I went with rice & quinoa as my bases, and picked the lentils as my veggie and tofu as my protein and green beans. I wasn't quite sure if I would be impressed with the taste or not, but once I tried it I was like wow! that has good flavor! The rice with the tofu and lentils taste amazing! the only thing is the tofu and quinoa is cold the flavor is cold, but I think both would be much better if warm... but other than that everything else tasted delicious! and I definitely plan to return soon :) read more

Staff is super friendly and extremely helpful explaining how the options work. You can sample items first which I found helpful. You can select 4 or 6 items. It's like Panda Express style. It all goes in a bowl. I enjoyed the cauliflower mashed potato's and broccoli, rice and bbq chicken. It was plenty for me. They offer bottled water, can drinks, no name soft Drinks and a ton of lemonades and teas. It is super quick since all the food is ready. Came here to try because of some buzz heard about the new place close by. Food: So to put it simply, it is 'chipotle-style' in that you choose bases and toppings basically. They have 3 options (Kids, Four, Six) that dictate how many bases, protein veggies, etc. I got the four which included 2 bases, 1 protein, 1 veggie, 1 sauce. Got the Spice rice, quinoa, parmesan broccoli, citrus chicken, coconut sriracha. All in all, def recommend the spice rice. I generally like cold/hot combo but didn't like it this time thus probably will sub the quinoa for something else. Broccoli was pretty tasty and added well to the mix. Citrus chicken was kind of cold, but I was there right when it opened so I assumed they made it a bit early to prep for opening, will have to see next time i go. Also tried some of my friend's Kale sauce which was delicious. Creamy ginger not bad either but prefer the kale/coconut sriracha combo. Biggest issue was that it was just a little too little food for the price. I understand the dichotomy of adding more protein being both a pro and a con and also that this is a healthier option thus better in quality in general but maybe giving 2 veggies for the middle combo would help? I also had some of the paleo-cookies which were quite delicious. Since they are paleo the consistence was close to a muffin but still pretty good. Would recommend. They also have lots of different types of teas and juice? So def worth a try. TLDR: 4/5 mainly because of price. Spice rice, broccoli recs. Kale sauce and Coconut sriracha (not very spicy). Cookies, juice. Healthy overall. Service: 5/5. All the workers are super friendly. Place: Located in a decent size parking lot. Very hipster/open/clean space inside as well. Perfect for groups of 4, could accommodate more. Definitely plan on returning. I plan on trying different combos to see what I like. read more

This was my first time there and with 3 kids. I have to say it was a great experience. We sat out on the patio and it was so nice. What I noticed right away was how as soon as someone left one of their team members came out to disinfect the table for the next customer. The fact that most of the food is allergy friendly and vegan was awesome. It's hard to find places where you know what you're putting in your body is actually good for you. My kids had the cauliflower mash and they couldn't tell it was cauliflower and thought it was delicious. They had the steak and chicken tenders and they said it was amazing. I personally had the power rice, spice rice, chickpeas, and barbecue chicken with holy kale sauce. The combination of flavors was tantalizing. I would definitely have it again. read more

Love!!! One of my favorite places to grab a quick meal. The first time I came here the staff saw I was confused and overwhelmed and kindly walked me the process! I switch up the bases and veggies in my bowl but always pick the coconut sriracha sauce (it's delicious!!)! They have tons of vegetarian/vegan options as well! My hair stylist recommended this place and it did not disappoint. Facility was clean and staff was super helpful and friendly which I appreciate a lot. I had a veggie bowl w half kale salad half noodles and green beans and mushrooms w that amazing garlic kale sauce. Lemonade was great and tasted not sugary which is always a plus- the hibiscus mint was also delicious . I love this place I'm not normally the healthiest eater but I saw this place and decided to try it out they have great options everything is fresh and it's never too long of a line. Inside atmosphere is so cute. They have a cute little grass patio outside. My mom is pescatarian and it was awesome that I was able to bring her somewhere that we both enjoyed. I've gone like three times in the past two weeks I would definitely recommend to any of my friends or family . I've been a few times to their location in Orlando by UCF and was so happy when I noticed construction with the 'fk' sign. Now they are finally open...woohoo. Good for you food, lots of options at reasonable price, and modern decor...what's not to love?! The pics I'm adding gives you all the food options available.
