My boyfriend and I care here to celebrate our anniversary, and it was not a great experience. We were sat at a tiny two top, and then a table was split and sat both behind ya and beside us. They were screaming back and forth, so we couldn't hear each other the entire time we were here. Our server was very busy, so getting a drink refill or ordering took a long time, although we totally understood. The food is good I'll admit. But EVERY time I go there always seems to be a problem when we first walk in. We are always greeted with confusion, almost like it's a problem to seat us. First question always asked is "do you have a reservation?" and I don't see what the problem is when we are walking into an empty restaurant! This past Easter we attempted to make a reservation over the phone and I was told that because the manager hasn't figured out the "setup" I can be put on a "wait list". This was more than a month before Easter. When no one called to follow up, I called about 3 weeks before and was told they were all booked up. In 2014, I gave this place a 5 star review. My husband and I loved the food and service and became regulars through much of 2017. We always had a great experience here. Life intervened, and we did not visit during 2018 or most of 2019. We finally stopped in this week. Our visit was so disappointing. The service was completely inattentive even though the restaurant was not busy. Example:We were never asked if we wanted a second glass of wine while we waited for our entrees. Just left here for the first time and it was PHENOMENAL. From appetizers to main course to dessert, everything was so spectacular and service was great. Our server was Joshua and he was so delightful. Answered all of my party's questions, made some great recommendations, and was just very personable. I came for a nice birthday dinner with family and my boyfriend and was no one was disappointed at all. I had the steak carbone, my boyfriend and Mom had the lobster ravioli special, my dad had the seafood stew and we were all thoroughly impressed. I ordered take out on Christmas Eve. I understand Christmas Eve is busy, however if you can't serve takeout as well as in house guests, you shouldn't have takeout on a holiday evening....We decided on Fresco because it was one of the few restaurants in the area open and/or doing takeout for that kind of food. I was told 35 minutes. They are located literally 1 minute from my home, went to pick it up exactly 35 minutes after placing order. They bagged it when I got there. Returned home (1 minute later), opened food, plated it and every item was cold, not lukewarm but cold! Also, one of my orders was the prosciutto burratta, VERY good, but what Italian restaurant doesn't give bread with it? Yes another disappointment with the exclusion of bread with my order!! Everything had to be microwaved prior to eating. The food once heated was good, but very disappointed in the way this $100 order was received! read more

Just took our parents out to this restaurant for their 35th anniversary. We couldn't have chosen a better place to celebrate. From the service to the food, it was among the best. She was so fun and very attentive. She told us of the specials they had of lobster ravioli w/scallops (wish there were more raviolis, only three raviolis and two big scallops), filet minion and chicken with veal parm. We all ordered a special. My son had a strip steak. Food was really good. The drinks were great and strong too. We drank a bottle of wine, sangria and a chocolate martini. We tried Fresco for Easter Brunch and the food was phenomenal. We had a choice of either the buffet or menu items. We chose the buffet. Superb! The items were, scrambled eggs, western scrambled eggs, sausage links, bacon, French toast, pancakes etc... The lunch type items were just as delicious. Prime rib, roasted turkey breast, a stuffed pork tenderloin and delicious baked ham. Very nice sides too. The only bad thing was the price was 17.95, which was for the brunch and either a Mimosa or a Bloody Mary. Which we didn't mind paying. My stepfather and niece each ordered an orange juice and instead of replacing that with the alcoholic drink they charged $2 for their juices. So I had to specifically order a non-alcoholic Mimosa in order to get what was supposed to come with the price. They also charge you per cup of coffee, at $2.50 a cup! We weren't told this beforehand otherwise we wouldn't have ordered them or as many as we had. Most people drink coffee with breakfast so if a person isn't getting a Mimosa or Bloody Mary you can't give them the coffee to replace it?! If it weren't for drink issue I would have given 5 stars. read more

I went to this restaurant last night with friends. Although, the food was good, the service was terrible. We asked for separate checks. The waitress said ok. We ordered 3 appys. Also ordered wine and dinners. The service was terribly slow. It took forever. Coffee was luke warm. They made all kind of excuses, but we did not want to hear that. Then she came back to find out who had certain things on their check. She should have did this from the beginning. There are so many good restaurants around, don't need that kind of treatment. Me and the family went for Easter Brunch. We checked-in and were seated promptly and a few minutes latter was asked to move to a table in the middle of an aisle because they needed to put two tables together and seat a large party. So we did. A few minutes later, they sat a party of 3 at the table we just moved from? Sigh... Buffet layout was weird and tight. The worst part of the Easter brunch though was the food. The absolute worst roast my family has ever had. Tough and overcooked, the roast pork dry and just not good. The sauce to add over the meats was near the pasta station. Who knew? Pizza was good. Three pasta's and three different sauces was barely warm. Just okay. The bottomless Bloody Mary was capped at 2 drinks. The waitress avoided us like the plague once 2 were given. Not going back for a long time, and definitely not for Easter. We've been going out for Easter Brunch at various places for 5 years and this solidified the fact that we just need to stay home and make our own delicious dinner.
