Longhorn is never really a place I go to often, but when I do go the food never misses. It's always pretty good and the service is good as well! This location is right behind Warwick mall, there's tons of parking all around and it gets pretty busy in there but they accommodate pretty fast. I love that they have a good amount of booths at any given time. But when they have to combine tables together for big parties, it's a little annoying because they're smack in the middle of the restaurant and it can get pretty loud. But otherwise the volume of the restaurant isn't that bad at all. We were greeted very warmly and sat promptly. The first table they sat us at was directly next to the kitchen entry/exit, I asked to be sat somewhere less chaotic, and was warmly told we could and we were moved. The table we were brought to the seats were dirty, so I asked for them to be cleaned, she half cleaned them. I saw stuff still on them, and then they were wet instead of her drying them so I did it with my hand ( not ideal, but also not sitting on a wet booth) . I opened my utensils and my knife had stuff on it, so it's clearly not clean. I asked for a new knife. My waitress apologized and brought another set and said if there was any issues with that she would personally shine a set herself. My server was Kelly, beyond amazing from start to finish. Very attentive, funny and a great server- for sure. They probably earned this review more stars honestly. We ordered the big boy steak, the shrimp and lobster chowder, 2 lobster tails with asparagus and loaded baked potato and we had bread for the table. The food was so delightful. From the tasty chowder to the entree, even the bread was sweet and so good. The food was amazingly delicious- I was shocked. And the price points are actually pretty good. We were shocked to see all of that and we had 2 drinks as well ( Texas margarita and Jack and coke) total without tip all under 100.00 that's amazing for 2 people. The food is so good. The review simply loses starts for the dirty table, booth and the dirty knife, that's so gross- also makes me wonder what else is dirty. But the service and food were very good! read more

Fantastic food again! First came here 4 years ago and recently went with my brother. The value here is incredible. My main dish was a ribeye for only $27 and it came with 2 sides. There's not many places with a 12 ounce ribeye for that price anymore. It was cooked a perfect medium rare and have that delicious char flavor. The mac & cheese was also on point. It's a $3 up charge to get it as a side which is steep because the portion wasn't that big. My brother got their burger and said it was really good. For a drink, I got their longhorn old-fashioned. The bartender made it really strong and I felt that after a couple sips! $11 is also an amazing price as most cocktails now or $15. Service was pretty good and the atmosphere was lively. It was absolutely packed on Friday around 6pm and we had to wait 10 minutes before getting a table for 2. Very pleased again with my meal here. read more

If food is exceptional, the steak you cut with a fork. The service people are on top of everything. You never have to ask more than once to look around for something. They're right there with it in their hands they always go above and beyond what you would expect most steakhouses or any chain restaurant. would like, typically going during the middle of the day only because of the fact, I really don't like it to be super busy or loud or overwhelming, especially if we have the grandchildren because they can get a little bothered by the excessive amount amounts of noise. The restaurant interior is really great. Big and open while still somehow feeling homey. A small area of bar seating along with some hightop tables right near the entrance and a mix of booth and table seating in the rest of this large restaurant. We were seated in a booth with menus by the host/ess and our waiter was over in a couple of minutes to take a drink order. Service was very good. Our waiter attentive checking in a few times and refilling waters. Our meals arrived in a good amount of time (as in not too fast or slow) and were cooked as ordered. Everything was tasty and fresh. Not usually a fan of chain restaurants. Seems like a reverse Outback Steakhouse. Decorated in a western motif. The drinks are pretty generic. Tried a red sangria, it was more ice than drink. The bread is served similar again to Outback. Did not try the bloomin onion version they offer. Tried the stuffed mushrooms, basically cheese stuffed. I love mushrooms with anything stuffed in them. Had a surf and turf with the rice. Grilled shrimp skewers with a 7oz steak. Opened up with the potato soup and Caesar salad. 1 step above a Chilli's. The other meal was the Steak tips with mushrooms and mashed potatoes. Cooked medium. Credit to getting the temperature right. Overall a little pricey for a chain. This review is SO LATE (like 10 months late)... So it's going to be brief... Came here on a Tuesday night for a dinner with coworkers. The restaurant wasn't too busy, and we had two servers for the table (around 10 people)... The service was decent, and the food was fine. Nothing spectacular to be honest, but it was hot and I didn't have any issues with any of the food. The restaurant was a bit busy when we were there, and our table was two (or three, I can't remember) tables pushed together sort of in the middle of an area full of booths on the perimeter, so it was a bit weird and felt a little cramped. We went this past Friday night. It was around 7:00 and we ordered. I ordered a 20 oz Longhorn Cowboy medium rare. I had noticed the menu reads that only one item reads as choice beef. I should have asked if the Cowboy Steak was choice but I didn't. My lady ordered a cheeseburger medium rare. Once the meals were delivered we started in. The Brussels and the French fries were good. I took the steak off the bone and had two bites. It was so tough. The wait staff ( two people) never stopped back to ask how was everything. I finished the Brussels and the French fries never touched the steak again. The waitress asked if we wanted dessert. We said no and then asked if we wanted boxes I went to comment about the steak but she shut me down and told me that she was going to give me one box because there was a divider in it. We had leftover steak and her burger. I told her no two please The boxes and check were dropped. I have been in the Foodservice business all my life. If I had ever saw that a customer barely touched their steak I would inquire about that. In addition, the restaurant manager never once touched our table to check in on us. Overall, the food and service wasn't satisfactory. A manager not checking in on tables is sub par especially in an established chain restaurant. Went on a very busy Saturday night. The service was fine and the line moved quickly. The steaks at Longhorn just aren't that good. Had lunch Saturday 9/20/25 at the bar. We were greeted very warmly by the bartender Becky. She was awesome throughout our entire meal. We started with the Wild West shrimp-it was incredibly flavorful, crunchy and just delicious. Huge portion! We both had a lunch special. I ordered the crispy buttermilk chicken sandwich and it was the best chicken sandwich I've ever had. Crunchy, flavorful and it had lettuce tomato, pickle, and onion on it! Have not enjoyed the delicious filet that Longhorn serves since Covid when we had to order take-out. Little did I know that the interior is quite lovely as the last time that I ate inside there was prior to their remodeling. Seating was determined based on my request and we were pleased that it was honored. We had a table that allowed us a quiet area to talk, away from a couple of large parties. Our waitress, Michelle, with her pleasant personality definitely aimed to please our every need. We each ordered the 6 ounce filet as our protein. One of us ordered the overstuffed bake potato and the other ordered the steamed broccoli and shared those sides, after enjoying the house salads. It was such a great meal. And then, even though we were satiated, we shared the chocolate molten lava cake which was delightfully scrumptious: Rich, dark chocolate cake with a warm, molten fudge center, served with vanilla bean ice cream and finished with chocolate and caramel sauce. This was my first visit here because I had a gift card. The interior is very warm and inviting, with a western/Texas feel to it. The waitstaff was welcoming and accommodating. I had a 6oz. You can always count on Longhorn to fill your need for a great steak. I've never had a bad dinner here and I've been going for well over 10 years. The service is always impeccable and anytime there was an issue at the table it was taken care of (keyword - Care) and remedied to the party's satisfaction. Management is on top of it and listens to both good and bad and truly cares. The atmosphere is my favorite for several reasons - 1. You can carry on a conversation without yelling to your companion. 2. Even though the restaurant may feel large it's actually an intimate space with lowered lighting reminding me of restaurants gone by. I like that. I rarely order an appetizer as it's too much food for me on top of my Ceasar salad, Ribeye and loaded baked potato, but others have loved them. Now let's get to the drinks. Aside from my usual Manhattan that is always made perfectly and quite generous, their top of the line Margarita is probably one of the best anywhere. I don't care what you say. They are delicious and come with extra in a small shaker. Forget the steakhouses that are overpriced. I don't feel the need to take our a loan just for a steak. Longhorn is the real deal of steakhouses in our area. I can't be transported to Kansas City when I had a steak that lifted me right up to Heaven with every bite, but Longhorn takes me darn close. Go. Our Rhode Island dining experiences have not been "stellar" over the past few years... I have never been one to relish a steakhouse, but my husband would work for free if he were given the ribeye steak at Longhorn. I have NEVER had a disappointing meal at LH. But to be honest, until 2 years ago, we had not been to Longhorn. Given gift certificates for Christmas opened the door for us to this great restaurant! I have enjoyed the best hamburger I have ever eaten at LH - and the chicken dish is perhaps one of my favorite choices. I SO VERY MUCH APPRECIATE that the food is F R E S H - every single time - salad is crispy, the bread is divine and the baked potatoes are always always always amazing. Perhaps what we most appreciate is the great service and consideration we are extended at every meal, the attentive but not overbearing waitstaff, and especially their kindness - yes, I know, this isn't on the menu. But our first visit we were celebrating my husband's remission diagnosis and though we kept our emotions in check (or so we thought), the staff around us sensed "something." And here came someone bearing coffee and dessert and soon we felt as though we were "home..." It has been that way ever since (and we've most often had different waitstaff)... I love that people are happy at LH, I love that the restaurant is clean and cozy... I love that when we need to hide away in the back table or booth, that's where we're seated. Well, this has turned into more of a journal entry (for which I apologize - a little...) . We come to eat at this LongHorn quite often, but I haven't written a review of it yet. We had dinner tonight. It was busy, but didn't seem overly crowded. A little noisy, but I could hear my party ok. I ordered the wings, French onion soup, and Parmesan crusted chicken. They usually serve some of the best French onion soup you can find. Tonight, it came out lukewarm and didn't taste very good. The second bowl was much tastier. The parmesan crusted chicken is always soooo delicious! I always enjoy their lemonades and special drinks, too! We will always come back to this location as both the food and service are usually great! read more

I still stop in for lunch when I can. They have changed their lunch specials a few times since my last review, and my tastes have changed as well. They still have great luncheon deals for $7.99, $8.99 and $9.99. My favorite is the Baked French Onion soup (no bread) and the 1/2 Grilled Chicken & Strawberry Half Salad. But I do switch to the Third-Pound Hamburger at times with the French Onion Soup. They have a winner with the Grilled chicken and Strawberry Salad. the flavors blend really well together and I have started asking for it with Romaine lettuce which I like better. The soup is hit or miss, but I keep trying. When it's good, its really really good. Hot tasty broth, onions, and cheese - YUM. When it's bad (lukewarm, too much cheese that sinks in the middle) -not good. I also have a problem with how long it takes to get everything. If you get appetizers and then dinner an dessert, it should take a while to come out. But for a lunch special to take 30+ minutes to come out .... thats just annoying. Staff is always pleasant and accommodating!!! I am not a fan here for dinner. I just don't think the steaks are that great in terms of flavor or quality. A usually favorite place however a bit rocky start. We ordered our drinks when we sat but the appetizers - without plates - came first - but ordered 6 min later. But as the service went things got a little better. The steak I ordered was suppose to be med but came out burnt and well done. I don't send steak back but I had to. It was also not cool that I didn't get to eat the same time as my family. But most critically when they dropped the food why are the servers not trained to ask the customers to cut into their steaks to check the temp. I love Long Horn but this was a huge step back. Paying 25$ for a steak and it not being cooked right is a huge dissappointment. I will say the manager on duty did comp the steak - as he should of- and was very apologetic. However even he did not ask me to cut into the steak and check the temp. I think training procedures need to be evaluated again. However I have to the appetizers - the Wild West Shrimp and Tonions were awesome. I will visit again but I hope this is just out of the ordinary instead of the new norm! read more

Went during Covid & they are doing an awesome job. They are offering sit down dining, but the tables are spaced out. The waitress had a mask on the entire time. You are also required to wear a mask when you aren't at the table. They also have hand sanitizer all over for your use. Our food came out quickly and it was the best it has ever been cooked! Went for lunch and ordered the 1/2 lb burger. It comes w/lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles and "burger sauce". I requested no tomato, no onion. What came to the table was a burger w/no bun, no lettuce, no sauce, but a couple of onion slices. It wasn't brought by our server, so I said to the server that did bring it, where's the bun? She didn't know what to say so she asked who our server was and she would let them know. Next a woman comes to the table, guessing it was a mgr., w/a hamburger bun on a plate saying sorry about that. She said something about the other stuff that comes on the burger, but I don't recall exactly what. I replied all I said was no tomato, no onion, I don't know what happened after that. She then asked if I wanted the sauce and lettuce and if I wanted her to take everything back and assemble the burger for me. I said that's ok, I'll do it myself. She leaves and our server shows up w/the rest of the stuff for the burger. He didn't apologize for what happened. At no time while we were eating, did he come back to ask if we needed anything, etc. We finished our meals and piled the plates in the middle of the table w/our utensils/napkins on top waiting for the server to come back. He walked by twice, looked our way and kept walking. The third time I had to call out and ask for the bill. He comes over and asks if we're all set w/the plates that are piled in the middle of the table. What the heck is happening to people/society as a whole? Does anyone care about their job performance?
