Amazing food and service at Fresco- Cranston. ( as always ). Took my friend visiting from Texas over the Holidays ! We had a WONDERFUL time

    Spicy Tuna Tower

We have visited Fresco numerous times and are always happy with our meal. Entree sizes are large, so we typically leave with leftovers. The atmosphere is upscale casual, so it's a nice place to celebrate a special occasion. Prices are very reasonable. The spicy tuna tower is so yummy! My favorite entree is the chicken and eggplant napoleon and I'm very picky with ordering chicken at a restaurant. Finishing off the meal with an espresso martini is a must! Wait staff are attentive and knowledgeable about the menu.

beautiful restaurant with a big bar & fast & friendly service. we came here on a monday night for my moms birthday it was packed but worth the wait! we started with a giant stuffie which was very tasty, for dinner mom loved the butternut squash ravioli & the chicken milanse was delicious too! for drinks we had pumpkin beer with a caramel cinnamon sugar rim & a caramel apple sangria, loved these seasonal drinks perfect for a fall night.

I've enjoyed Fresco in East Greenwich But this was my first time visiting the Cranston location. We were seated promptly and the wonderful server took our drink order and also provided a wonderful basket of bread with dipping oil. My son had the shrimp scampi which wasn't reallyon the menu but they accommodated him. Pasta was perfectly al dented and nicely grilled shrimp on top. My daughter had the usual pasta with pink vodka sauce and she loved it. I had a fabulous steak cooked medium rare along with vegetables and mashed potatoes. They used a special sauce on mistaken it was truly exceptional. I am definitely a fan of the Fresco locations and you will be too!

The co reviewer and I decided to try Fresco after several unsuccessful attempts. The restaurant is very clean and comfortable and the staff does a excellent job keeping it Covid safe. They do a thorough job cleaning every table after each party. They also have the plexiglass partitions between tables. We had the chicken parmigiana and the steak tips over risotto. Both meals flavorful and nicely cooked. The cutlet was very large. Service was very good. We will be back when we are in the area.

Now, the reason you're reading this review- THE FOOD. I ordered the Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich with a Caesar Salad. The chicken (photo below) was perfectly cooked, topped with hot honey, slaw, pickles, and ranch then placed on a soft brioche bun. The meal was reasonably priced as well at $33 which included tip. The restaurant wasn't too busy, but there was a steady crowd. People were either dining in or picking up to-go orders. They offer indoor and outdoor seating, so there are plenty of areas to dine. The bartender was friendly and helpful. I decided to go with the seared salmon, Brussels sprouts, and corn risotto. Thankfully, it wasn't much of a wait because I was hungry. My food came out fresh and hot. Everything was really delicious. My only complaint was there were a few flies swarming around me, which made my dining experience less enjoyable. I spent most of my time trying to swat them away. The bartender even moved me to another spot, but they still followed me. While I really enjoyed my food and the service, it might be a good idea for them to invest in small table fans to keep the flies away. Otherwise, my food was tasty, and the service was great!

Service was great. Everyone was super friendly and attentive. My favorite bite was the calamari. It was perfectly crisp and lightly battered and came with a variety of peppers. Wish their gravy had a little more to the serving, was a mushroom almost broth flavored gravy with a background hint of something I can't put my finger on... maybe Marsala wine??? Feel like their Bread & butter could be a lot better, super crusty and the butter was pretty flavorless and portion of it was a dollop. Calamari was good, came with just the rings which I prefer and no tentacles, peppers and marina sauce. Bill was $124 w/o tip and I had a non alcoholic drink too.

This location is right behind Warwick mall, there's tons of parking all around and it gets pretty busy in there but they accommodate pretty fast. I love that they have a good amount of booths at any given time. But when they have to combine tables together for big parties, it's a little annoying because they're smack in the middle of the restaurant and it can get pretty loud. But otherwise the volume of the restaurant isn't that bad at all. We were greeted very warmly and sat promptly. The first table they sat us at was directly next to the kitchen entry/exit, I asked to be sat somewhere less chaotic, and was warmly told we could and we were moved. The table we were brought to the seats were dirty, so I asked for them to be cleaned, she half cleaned them. I saw stuff still on them, and then they were wet instead of her drying them so I did it with my hand ( not ideal, but also not sitting on a wet booth) . I opened my utensils and my knife had stuff on it, so it's clearly not clean. I asked for a new knife. My waitress apologized and brought another set and said if there was any issues with that she would personally shine a set herself. My server was Kelly, beyond amazing from start to finish. Very attentive, funny and a great server- for sure. They probably earned this review more stars honestly. We ordered the big boy steak, the shrimp and lobster chowder, 2 lobster tails with asparagus and loaded baked potato and we had bread for the table. The food was so delightful. From the tasty chowder to the entree, even the bread was sweet and so good. The food was amazingly delicious- I was shocked. And the price points are actually pretty good. We were shocked to see all of that and we had 2 drinks as well ( Texas margarita and Jack and coke) total without tip all under 100.00 that's amazing for 2 people. The food is so good. The review simply loses starts for the dirty table, booth and the dirty knife, that's so gross- also makes me wonder what else is dirty. But the service and food were very good!

I told her the crystal champagne glasses were to celebrate her success! I ordered champagne which came in a chilled marble container to keep it cold. I had looked at a couple other restaurants before settling on Twin Oaks. Twin Oaks was easy for her to get to after meeting with a new client. The food was delicious. The ambience looking out over Spectacle Lake with the moonlight on the water was wonderful. The waiter could not not have been more attentive yet not intrusive.
