After a day of walking all around Seattle, we came here on the evening of 1/3/20. There were a lot of people here drinking and we were able to find a spot on the table to sit and drink, too. They had a lot of drinks to choose from on their menu from IPA to cider to non-alcoholic drinks. I ordered the 2 Towns Ciderhouse ($6) while my friends had beer and a flight of drinks (I forgot what they ordered). They had pretzels that everybody was eating while drinking. "These pretzels... are makin' me thirsty!" which was perfect since I had my drink. Seinfeld fans would get that. Anyways, the staff here were nice and friendly. I used to love this place but the service is not good anymore. There was a dog that attacked my service dog and almost bite him. The servers did nothing and watched it happen with a straight face. They did not offer any support or kick the aggressive dog out. The same dog did this to my service dog last time I came in and nothing was done then too. read more

Horrible customer service! The guy that took our order didn't greet us or say a word and had a blank face while he waited for me to order my flight of beers. He didn't even say hi after I said hi and smiled. This wasn't just me, I noticed he was like this with every single customer. At some point when my husband and I found a table I had to go up to the same guy and ask if someone would please come to clean the table because it had trash and was completely dirty and his response was "yeah, we'll get to it when we get to it". After a day exploring Seattle, this was the perfect way to end it! I loved everything about Fremont. The outdoor space is beautiful, the two bars inside are great and the side shop for merchandise and to-go beer is convenient. They have a huge tap list, and allow you to build a flight or order half-pours so that you can try multiple things. The only negatives were the lack of close parking and the too few restrooms (with a weird hand motion flush that doesn't like to work)... but these wouldn't stop me from returning! read more

My son's favorite craft brewery in Seattle. I have merch at home that he's sent me but this is my first time trying their suds. We ordered two ciders for the ladies and I had the Sky Kraken, while my son ordered a Porter style brew fermented in bourbon barrels. It's always fun to hit up a place that does what it does so well! We happened to be in town on the weekend of the 10th anniversary barely aged stout release, and boy howdy was that a good weekend to be there! They located in the heart of Fremont, just down the way from downtown. We came as a big group and it was good that we came early, because despite getting there right when they opened, we still had to section off the table pretty quickly. There was something like 20 of us though, so it's not a super common occurrence. The seating though was great, and there was even a lovely section for kids to play. The kids section was basically large steps that the kids could sit on and play on. It's nice to have a contained area for them! They had a dozen or so beers on tap as well as a number for sale. This range from they are standard offerings all the way to the specialist barrel aged stout. They have quite the array the beer options, again from fresh hop Hills all the way up to very deep and heavy stuff... It makes for some awesome flights! They often have food trucks outside, it's easy to order stuff and have it be brought in. After sectioning off a giant table, we had a bunch of pizzas delivered, and instantly made more friends! The folks running the place were super knowledgeable about the product, and you could tell they really love what they do. This is one of the preeminent breweries in the greater Seattle area, and definitely is why you should go if you love beer or if you just want to experience a cool local spot! read more

Fremont Brewing is one of the more popular and commercialized craft brewers in the Seattle area. You can probably find their beer at most local grocery stores. I totally recommend the atmosphere and vibes though at this location. It is a great spot to kick back with friends and get a flight of beers. There is usually a diverse selection so you are bound to find your type. Go early because it does get crowded. I knocked down a star because (1) none of the beers I liked enough to want to get a second glass of the same thing -- I preferred trying something new and (2) although the immediate location is great -- the parking is terrible. read more

Not being a beer fan myself, I was pleased to see some cider options, and I found a DELISH blueberry cider! Coupled with some pretzels and green apples, I could have sat there all night! Fremont Brewing has some of my favorite beers, especially for when I want to drink something local. It's a true northwest-style of beer, with a lot of different and inventive options. As the name suggests, it's located in the Fremont neighborhood and is in their newer space from its former. Because of its popularity, the place gets packed. It'll be challenging to find some seats inside for a large group; but if the weather is nice, the outdoor seating is where I prefer to hang. I also like that many of the tables, which all of them are outside, are communal, long tables like what a beer hall traditionally has. Get friendly with your fellow beer-drinking neighbors and socialize. The beers are a win-win here, if you like hops! I'm a huge IPA fan and like my beers really hoppy, which Fremont Brewing has a fair share of. Usually when I visit, I can find five or six IPAs to check out. But they do have other styles, like barrel-aged stouts on nitro and so forth. A flight comes with five samplers, so taste it up! Dog-friendly, free pretzels and hoppy beer. You best believe this is a five-star Yelp review. Strolling around Downtown Fremont on a gorgeous Sunday afternoon appeared to be the icing on the cake. Fremont Brewing was one of the top breweries I had bookmarked while in Seattle, and somehow my expectations were exceeded. I had already gotten a taste of their product at a few Seattle local spots, sipping on Lush IPA and Sky Kraken, a hazy pale ale. Being impressed with these two heavy hitters, I knew I was in for more tasty treats at their taproom. First off, the brewery was PACKED. Weather definitely played a factor in this, but who wouldn't want to sit outside and indulge in some of the best brews in Seattle on a beautiful day? There's plenty of coverage for those looking for shade, and tons of bench seating for those looking to sit. Having barbacked in the past, I typically don't order flights since they're a pain in the rear to clean. However, since I knew this was my only shot to sample as many Fremont beers in one go 'round, I made an exception. Three IPA's, a sour and a nitro oatmeal stout were the gamut I selected; all of them solid. My favorites were the tangerine sour, which was a perfect sipper considering the weather. The stout warmed up quickly, but retained all its breakfasty, cereal-like characteristics. I'm an IPA guy, and they nailed the different varietals with ease. On top of all that, service from the bartenders was just peachy. All pretentiousness was left at the door. Not only are Fremont's beers all the rage, they also have a killer outdoor space to back it up. If you live in Seattle, I'd be shocked to hear if they weren't in your rotation! read more

Cool brewery, we enjoyed our time here. My favourite brewery that we hit up while in Seattle. We had beautiful weather so it was lovely sitting outside and the misting fans were great. The line for beer was always a little long as was the line for the restrooms. They had premade sandwiches in the cooler for the purchase which weren't bad, you could also bring your own food to the brewery. Beers were priced around $5 - 7, lots of seating - inside and out, and plenty of bike parking out front. We picked up scooters rental from here. read more

Good brewery! Ambience outside is nice, with beer barrels as tables. You can move them to combine for larger parties, although the round shape is a bit unwieldy. There were some dogs from other guests on other barrels, which was endearing. I must confess I am new to beer drinking and got my very first nitro beer here -- the Nitro Dark Star. It came in a nice goblet and was smooth so went down quickly. Their selection seemed a good variety, and my friends were content. Had a sunny day in Seattle and Fremont Brewing was a wonderful brewery to soak up the sun! We came 10 mins after opening on a weekend and there was already a queue out on the sidewalk. We luckily got seating at one of the outdoor tables under the heat lamp but they have plenty of converted barrels with high chairs, long tables outside, and indoor tables which are circulated well since they open up the garage doors so it's indoor/outdoor setting. If that says anything it just shows how popular this local spot is so be sure to come early especially with a larger group. During Covid with a group they recommended that one person come up with an ID per person/drink instead of having the group come up. Even with a full outdoor seating area they are quick to get the line come through and clean up the tables before the next group (90 min limit) since it was a busy day. We tried - Sky Kraken, Disco Wolf, Bramble: Foeder Golden Sour with Blackberry and Lime Zest and Cashmere Cider and all were delicious! They also had great rotating, guest, and reserve items on their menu. They didn't have a main food menu during this time but they had limited quantities of sandwiches from a local spot (forgot the name) for sale. Our host during this visit was friendly and quick to let us know around the new rules and let us know when we were coming up on our time before it was up to give us time before the next group. Definitely come out to check this local brewery out because they have a wonderful outdoor space and they're walking distance from gasworks! We stayed the entire 90 mins and we honestly could have stayed even longer. read more

Love the vibes, drink selections, service, and decorations. They have two different bar areas (one seems like the biggest one), but there's a sign to lead to other. I would say go to the other side because the first one you go to will probably have a big line compared to the other. Got the sampler and then got a stout which I really liked. I think every beer I've tried so far were great including the seasonal. Parking was hard to find, but ended up going to the lot across the street which is spacious. After visiting the Fremont Troll, my cousin and I trekked on over to Fremont Brewing. It's about a 7 minute walk from the troll. When we arrived, the outside of the brewery was very busy. People enjoying their beers in the outdoor area while conversing with friends, drinking great beer, and/or eating lunch. It seems that outside food is accepted here since they don't have a food menu. They do have some menus of restaurants that do deliver to the brewery. Pretzels are served here just in case you want something to snack on while enjoying your brew. Their beer menu had a lot of variety. It was very hard to pick one beer, so I went with a l flight. For my flight, I chose: Russian Interference, Brother IPA, Dark Star, Lush IPA, and another IPA that I forgot what it was called. Out of my flight, the Russian Interference was my favorite, since it had a high ABV percentage. A highlight visit from my Seattle trip! I can't wait to visit again! read more

I was meeting up with some girlfriends and we wanted somewhere with a good outdoor seating situation. They recommended Fremont Brewing and it did not disappoint! We arrived on a Monday around 12 and it was pretty quiet. We were able to get a big table outside with a heater right above it. They have tons of outdoor seating, both heated and not. Everything is perfectly spaced and there's a tent that helps with the wind. It was a very cold day, but it felt comfortable in their outdoor seating area. They also have a great rotating tap menu. I went for a black currant cider, which was the only cider on the menu. Black currant isn't my first choice, but it was delicious!! The only letdown is the lack of food. They have a couple of Salumi sandwiches but I wish they had more options or a food truck. My friend is vegetarian and they were out of that option early in the day, so more food would be great. It's nice that they let you bring in outside food though. Definitely a great spot to hit up no matter the weather or season. read more

For our trip I've bookmarked another brewery for visit, but after finding out that it wasn't open on that day, we've somewhat randomly selected, at last minute, to head to this one instead. Glad we did, because we won't have discovered this charming neighborhood otherwise. Parking was a pain - maybe we just don't know where to park, but we had to circle around quite a while. This brewery is definitely more spacious than many, with a large - more like two conjoined - taproom with taps at both ends and a variety of table and chairs. There's an outdoors garden as well under a big tent. I noticed that they have a fresh hop beer, Fresh to Ferment, so needless to say I opt for that. Decided to check out the neighborhood Brewery being from Brew City and all before we hopped out of Seattle. This place at a pretty cool appeal to it. Tons of outdoor seating and also dog friendly when we arrived the place was packed. Stood in line for about 10 minutes or so waiting to get a couple beer flights. Sampled 10 different beers while sitting around an indoor fire and seating area. Pretty Swanky if you ask me. Favorite beers enjoyed by the group were the slow-burn, the gose with sea salt and coriander, and the Lush IPA. No food available here but there is free pretzels for your consumption. Worthwhile to come here and catch a couple drinks and experience a little bit of Seattle Beer. I would definitely return here on a future excursion. read more
