Can there be a better setting for cold beer and good vibes? Summer or winter this place is amazing. Excellent beers, great staff, and pricing is awesome, weirdly no premium for the amazing location and views. On a hot summer day, this place is absolutely packed, but there's a lot of turnover so no worries, share a picnic bench with some new people and drink!
Fun times, great view and comfort food thats really good. The vibe here seems mostly outdoor and seems to be a great place to spend an afternoon or whole day! What fun and the food is good too. Parking is on the street and don't worry you will get a few steps in if you are driving. I liked the chicken sandwich and fries a lot. The food came out right away although it was crowded. Oh and my seltzer was lovely. If you have a sunny warm day on Lake Union this is a cool place to be for a snack and drinks.
Super busy but they did their best. Grabbed some drinks and food (fries and deep fried mushrooms). The food took 20-25 minutes so, not exactly a quick service thing. Fries weren't cold but not hot, mushrooms were a good temp but over battered. Both were super greasy. The Joes fries were more expensive than regular fries but I think they gave me regular ones since there was no seasoning on them. Beers were good.
Awesome busy spot on the water. Super full but lots of seating. Great spot for pics with the city in the background after you enjoy a beer. Mostly just fried food available.
The thinness of my "chicken sandwich " was disappointing. There was more batter than chicken, more lettuce than chicken, more mayo than chicken. I had to leave half of the bread because there was no chicken to cover my sandwich. At least I had a good view
This is a wonderful place to come when it warms up. The views are to die for. Seriously. City, water, bridges, boats, wild life. The beer, sours, ciders are great. And their food is really good too. The rice bowl is so good. Add an egg or meat if you want to make it hardier. It's so flavorful. They have lots of options for all types of preferences. The hardest part is finding a place to sit on a warm day. But just get friendly and share a table with some strangers.
LOVE this spot! Such a great vibe, amazing views and lots of outdoor seating. The beer is great and the food is excellent, love it all. Order at the counter and they'll bring your food out to you. There is a small parking lot and street parking.
Cool place to hang out and have a beer or cider on a nice sunny day. Typical bars food but we didn't eat.
This spot is adorable. Came here on a gorgeous day with some friends since they were bragging that the burgers here are fantastic. I tried a smash burger and I did not disappoint. I also ordered some fried mushrooms and those were also very good. Perfectly crunchy and the dipping sauce was good as well. Great beer selection as well.
I absolutely love Gasworks Brewing and make a point to visit every time I'm in Seattle. I'm usually at an AirBnB just across the street. Sitting right on the water with views of the lake and the Seattle skyline is unbeatable. The beers are always spot-on--(as are the pub grub snacks, poutine!?) somehow perfectly smooth and creamy every time--and the staff are consistently friendly and welcoming. Even on colder days and in winter, the heated outdoor seating makes it easy to enjoy the view. One of my favorite spots in the city.
Great spot to hang out when the weather's nice! I got a lager and really enjoyed it, it was crisp and easy to drink. Staff was friendly and service was fast. The location is what makes this place special though. Right by the lake with a perfect view of the Seattle skyline, can't ask for a better backdrop to sip a beer. Will definitely bring friends who are visiting here, or come back on another sunny day.
I was visiting town this weekend and enjoyed a meal at Gasworks Brewing while I was there. I got the single smash burger and the strawberry rhubarb cider and my sister got the chicken sandwich and the apple cider. We shared the onion rings. All of the food was very good and affordably priced. Even though it was a bit chilly out I really enjoyed sitting outside overlooking the water. There are lots of tables outside and it's a great view.
The go to spot when sun is out. Highly recommend the taco bowl and apple cider- watermelon was alright, a bit too sour but one of the sweeter options. Fish tacos were okay, nothing stand out, but doesnt really go with the drinks. Fried onion rings were crispy and good, and korean chicken bites were a bit too sweet but goes well with a milkshake LOL Good for large groups, but it's hard to get a table when the sun is out bc it gets that busy. Very social ambiance. Service was quick and efficient- you order and get the drinks, but they bring the food out to you. Very small lot next to the brewery but otherwise, it is mainly street parking alongside the way to gas works park. read more

Updating my review. Service is a whole lot better and smooth since the first time I went. They have a larger menu and we ordered their fried mushrooms. It was delicious and I just love mushrooms. They appeared to have more seatings both indoors, outdoors, and the in-between with large canopies. When we went, there wasn't a ton of options. Looks like they've been busy and had sold out of their beer and had beers from other breweries. Servers were nice and friendly when we asked about the options. read more

August 16, 2025 - Seattle, WA Great waterfront location, dog-friendly, with plenty of outdoor seating. A few more umbrellas for shade would have been nice, but we were happy to snag a cozy two-seat covered table tucked in a corner. We ordered drinks and the Smash Burger ($8.00). Service was fairly quick given how busy they were--we waited about 15-20 minutes for the burger, but with such a beautiful waterfront view, the time passed easily. My Honey Crisp cider was just right: cool, clear, refreshing, and not overly tart. Unfortunately, the Smash Burger was a letdown. The patty was dry and lacking flavor, the cheese barely noticeable, and the bun was burnt. I'd happily return for the cider, beer, lively atmosphere, and views--but not for the food. read more

Great beer and food paired with beautiful views. Had the smash burger and fries with a good IPA.My gf had the watermelon and arugula salad with a smash burger. The burgers were very good and so were the salad and fries. The onion rings were disappointing. My one draw back from giving this place a 5/5 is the way seating is done and the number system for getting food out to patrons. Otherwise, I thought this place was great. read more

What a great brewery!! I came by here to meet some friends and I had no idea this was in the area. The beers were delicious. Dance floor was a great IPA and I loved the cider! For food, I love my Cobb salad and fries! Truly great quality food and beer and such a great spot to hang out and enjoy some food too. 10/10 read more

Everyday is a great day to go to Gasworks Brewing! This place is always busy, in the best way possible! They have great bar food that hits the spot when you're drinking their great beer/cider! The best thing about this place is the VIEW! Instagram- Madeline's_Dines read more
Came here a few times within a couple months after not knowing of its existence. It is the perfect summer spot with pretty much 90% outdoor seating. My first visit here I had a pint to get a feel for their style. On a subsequent visit with a buddy who makes regular visits himself as he has boat docked nearby. On both visits it's really crowded and loud. As much as I like breweries, this one is like the party brewery. Huge crowds and sometimes blaring music that you can hardly hear your company which is usually what I'm out to avoid. When I say huge crowds, I mean, you'll likely have to share one of the communal tables with another group and even then, you may have to wait a bit with beer in hand. Next up, the pricing. It's a bit on the higher side here. To me $7 is the standard across breweries when you start creeping up to $8-$9 a pour my expectations creep up too. The Rip Chord is a decent NE Hazy but have had better for cheaper. My buddy wanted to grab burgers and head to his boat, (he treated which I appreciated) as two smash's - 1 single, 1 double with both with bacon and "Joes Fries" (seasoned fries with aioli) somehow came to almost $40+. Decent burgers, but again you can do better, for way cheaper, the buns are brioche which is definitely a win. Gasworks Brewing is a cool spot, especially if you're looking for food and drinks on your way to or from Gasworks Park or a boat outing, I think there are better more chill breweries to go to such as nearby Fremont Brewing. read more
It's so hard to find places to drink where you are literally right next to a body of water. I understand there are some fancy restaurants with wonderful indoor or outdoor seating where you can enjoy a cocktail as you stare at the Sound, or there are bars/breweries high up with a view of the water off in the distance. Those are great. But most of the time, I want to be able to pay a single digit price for a cold non-NA beverage, take just a few steps from my seat, then go for a plunge. I won't, but I want that ability. Gasworks Brewing provides that experience. Now, this experience is only available in their outdoor seating area, so it's a summer place. It's summer right now, so that's what matters. Heck, people in kayaks and paddle boards are able to pull up from Lake Union & stop by for a drink. What a unique experience! I got one of their more simple/ $7 beers- I think it was their Mexican lager. It hit the spot. Their other beers are $8 and above (as of about a month ago)... hopefully the price doesn't keep increasing. Also ordered fish tacos. Service was slow and the tacos were ok... it felt like I was eating a small piece of fish from a fish & chips basket slapped inside a tortilla, rather than it tasting like a cohesive taco. Maybe it needed more sauce. But the tacos were filling. Overall, I really enjoyed Gasworks Brewing. If the weather stays warm enough, I'll come back for another visit and try some different food. read more

Great beer and amazing vibes! Walk up service for food and drinks. Draft beers as well as a couple ciders. Variety of foods. read more
Such a cool casual spot on the water!!! Perfect for summer or any sunny day really. Mostly outdoor/uncovered areas - but they have a bunch of umbrellas now set up for shade. Good food and beer selection and the fish tacos were solid, reasonably priced. No NA beer options which seems atypical these days. But dogs are allowed so I forgive them. Service was relatively fast despite the long lines. Waited maybe 10-15 min for food. Will definitely be back! Caution: make sure to adhere to the parking signs on Northlake way. They WILL ticket you if you're not backed in. read more
The best "Brew with a View" in Seattle. We visited Gasworks when they first opened last summer (July 2024). Upon first visit, we LOVED the location and views, but weren't wowed by the beer. Since it was new I wasn't too quick to judge. We went back a few months later, and the beer definitely improved. Fast forward to a year later, this is one of our most visited breweries in Seattle. It's a great destination when you're riding the Burke Gilman trail! We've eaten here a few times. The chicken bites are delicious!! I do have a few complaints (hence 4 star, not 5). 1. Beer lines: During the summer and sunny weekends, the place is packed. Expect to wait in a 20 minute beer line. One sunny Saturday we went and there was someone walking the patio, taking drink orders. THIS NEEDS TO BE A COMMON PRACTICE! Yesterday we only had one pint! Had there been servers taking orders on the patio, we would've stayed for more pints. It was a bummer because I really enjoy the beer, "Dance Floor". But wasn't willing to sit in a line that almost extended to the Bowrider's parking lot! Eek! 2. Pours/Price: I do not like that there is no schooner/half pour option. We always ride our bikes here, and have to be mindful of how much beer we have. I typically will allow myself a pint, or a pint and a half when I'm on a bike ride. (Also, people who drive might like to partake but not want a FULL pint!) I don't care about samples, or taster trays, but I think shorter pulls (8-12oz) should be an option! I mean, I love beer, I'd love to have multiple pints, but it isn't safe or responsible (for bikers or drivers!) The price of pints are getting expensive every where. But when it comes to drinking beer "at the source"you shouldn't be paying "taproom" prices. $9 is steep at the source... But then again, look around. We're paying for the lease on this property with the most amazing view in Seattle! Cheers! read more

This place freaking slaps! Great spot to stop at after a paddle on Lake Union. We paddled up and sketchily tied off at their dock and waited in a kinda long but fast moving line to order. The smash burger was bellissimo. Intensely fatty and greasy. Be prepared. But deliciously crispier edges. Onion rings were breast beasts but the good kind where the whole onion doesn't slip out when you bite into it. You get a number and then they bring your food out to ya. We sat on a bench but there's also picnic tables, high tops that are stools around a barrel and there's also these fun repurposed shipping container boxes with group tables (but these are f8:$ing sweltering) It's outside. The atmosphere is Summer- clientele ranges from raging kiddos to the nicely dressed humans and dogs while you're all clad in your swimsuit, sweat and sunscreen. The novelty of paddling up is really what makes this primo! Love! Will be back again and will actually bring my ID to try a brew :) read more
My kids and I had some spare time while poking around Seattle. I'm always about finding a trying new (to me) breweries and this one was on our route. I like the outdoor setting (though it was chilly on the day of our visit). The service was great. The beer was great. I look forward to stopping here again in the future. read more

Gasworks Brewing Co. in Seattle is an absolute gem right on the shores of Lake Union "puget sound" vibes with those stunning water views, seaplanes landing, and skyline in the distance. My wife and I recently visited and were blown away from start to finish. Their beers are genuinely top-tier, especially the hazy IPAs juicy, flavorful, and perfectly executed with that signature Pacific Northwest hop punch. We couldn't get enough. But the real standouts were two incredible limited seasonal pours, the banana peanut butter sour Peanut Butter & Banana and their new stout IPA or whatever bold stout-IPA hybrid they had on tap it was rich, roasty, and insanely smooth. Both were out of this world creative, balanced, and the kind of beers that make you stop and savor every sip. Seriously, mind-blowing stuff. The location is unbeatable! beautiful sightlines over the water, plenty of outdoor space, and that perfect Seattle waterfront energy. Add in their amazing customer service shoutout to Sam, who was GREAT, friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience feel welcoming and it's just the cherry on top. Oh, and don't sleep on the top-tier golf simulator it's a state of the art Trackman setup that's perfect for swinging a few virtual rounds while enjoying a pint. Makes a visit here an experience that's hard to top, especially when the weather turns. Their food was amazing too solid pub grub that pairs perfectly with the brews, smash burgers and more get high praise. Whether you're there for the beer, the views, the games, or all of it, Gasworks Brewing delivers on every level. Highly recommend we'll definitely be back! read more

Fun place to reserve a private room. The big bag room with projector and golf sim is ideal to book for someone's birthday or gathering of friends of all ages. Plenty of space and great place to watch a game. Food is pretty good overall. (Poutine could use some more gravy though) beer selection is good with some non beer options as well. Service is friendly. Wish that it could be easier to split a tab or open multiple tabs when renting a big room though read more
My friend and I visited Gasworks Brewery on the first 70-degree Friday of the year, and it was definitely the spot to be at. Dog-friendly, lively atmosphere, and a gorgeous view of downtown Seattle across the lake. We got there before 4 PM and it was already packed - the beer and food lines were long with only two cashiers working. It would definitely help if they had a waiter taking orders in line to keep things moving. The staff was super friendly though, and the food came out surprisingly fast despite the crowd. There's limited parking in the lot, and then parking on the road that's free of charge but it can be hard to find a spot during spring and summer days. We ordered cheese curds, fried mushrooms, and a chop salad which were all delicious. Only small critique is that I wish the cheese curds came with a different sauce instead of sharing the same one as the mushrooms; maybe a sweet Thai chili would be nice! It came to ~$80 after tip but that just seems like the normal cost in Seattle now. Finding seating was a challenge - it took about 15 minutes to find a spot in the sun. Later on, the line wrapped around so far we couldn't even see the end, so we decided not to wait for a second round of drinks. Tip: Get there early if it's a nice day, and maybe email ahead to see if you can snag a reservation. Would absolutely go back with a res. read more
Gasworks, Seattle- August 16, 2025 Saturday afternoon about 12:30 PM. It was just starting to get busy, but not too bad. We ordered the Honey Crisp cider and the Push Rewind West Coast IPA with a quarter pounder Smash burger. Service was efficient and friendly. Food and drinks were very good. They have a beautiful outside seating area right on the water - yachts parked on the pier. Lots of picnic bench style seating, but not enough umbrellas. More shade would have been nice. Fun place to stumble on to :-) read more

How crowded is this place?
On sunny weekends, it gets really crowded, and finding a seat can take a while
