This place is absolutely gorgeous with all of the flowers and plants they have around their outdoor patio area. It's a very large space with indoor and outdoor seating. It has industrial vibes. Came on a weekday afternoon so it was pretty chill. The service helpful. I was able to get some tastes before I chose my flight flavors. I loved the slushie cider they had. All of my pours were delicious.
Drinks (& food sorta) - Got the rice beer. Really good. I don't really like beer, so I probably would have tried a cider but rice. beer sounded kinda good. Glad I got it - very light. They don't serve food, so there's a food truck outside with smash burgers which were also really good. Service - fast & friendly. don't really need much checking in or anything. Ambiance - I really like all the different seating areas they have. And also very dog friendly. We sat inside in the bleacher/stadium kind of area which is kind of cute. There's also a fireplace with bench seating surrounding it. Plenty of picnic tables and smaller tables. Also a huge outdoor seating area with some cover.
Such a great stop as it was my first time in Seattle. This place was PACKED but the service didn't stop and the lines move fast. The weather was perfect and those icy cold suds they are kicking it didn't disappoint. They had a great swag shop to buy single beers, stickers and anything else you could want. I also sent a postcard from the shop to my mom to let her know I was responsibly heavily drinking craft beer. Can't wait to make it back!
Great location, great beer selection, great vibes both inside and outside. Side bar was open so was able to walk right up and get drinks right away. Lots of seating. You can order from the burger food truck from your phone and they'll text you when your order is ready.
Phenomenal brewery. Something I look for in a brewery is great outdoor seating, dogs, something other than just beer, and a great food truck. Every box was checked with Fremont Brewing. The smashburger food truck was so good! I ordered the beyond smashburger and it was so delicious! Paired that with kimchi fries, amazing! Great hangout spot to meet some friends in the area.

Just stop by to try their newest year around beer... Extra Lush, a lethally tasty triple, that will deceive you with its smoothness, reminiscent of one of my favorite Belgian tripel from the Bay Area. Draft or can another great edition to the Fremont Brewing family. Just a side note... if you've not noticed... their pint glasses also have etching on the bottom, so far a hop or heron art etching, new discovery they've been doing for awhile now, the only downside to seeing it is, your glass is empty, always a sad day. Till it's filled again. Cheers!!
This brewery a large scale brewery with plenty of room for people. And loads of yummy beers. I had a Pilsner now we on this visit. I've been here on a hot summer day too. Equally enjoyable. Friendly service too. The local food truck is a smash burger truck. Yummy. Worth a stop if you can! SYOY!!
Friendly service with lots of seating options and TVs for game watching. We came in a couple of times during our time here. They have a large selection of beers and non alcoholic options as well. They also have refrigerated snack options for purchase and a bowl of pretzels for self serve. The first time we were here, the venue was chill and relaxed. The next time was lively and vibrant with many patrons the for the Mariners game. Definitely a great option when in the area.
Incredible spot with plenty of seating inside and outside. Beer- my favorite time of year is Fresh Hop season and their flight is one of the best ways to enjoy it. Service was great and quick. Can you say you've been to Seattle and not gone to Fremont? :)
My favorite brewery in the area! The staff is kind, they offer five different in-house non-alcoholic options, and the outdoor atmosphere is fantastic. I love how inclusive they are--truly a welcoming spot for everyone.
Pretty good beer in a really large joint. Glad the inside is expansive because, well, rain. In Seattle it rains. A lot apparently. Enjoyed the pils and the sour. Apple cider is pretty good, too on a cold day. The ladies at the bar are efficient but more interested in their collective crossword puzzle than actually pouring beer or interaction with customers. No worries - I can tip appropriately.
Loved the vibe and views here. They're dog friendly brewery that inside and outdoor seating. The time I went they had the igloos out that kept the cold wind out. The french fries were perfect crunch and the spicy chicken sandwich was delicious.

Fremont Brewing is my go to spot for beers in town. They have a very large selection of drafts, their hazy IPAs are my absolute favorite. Fremont has a spacious outdoor beer garden with plenty of room for distancing. They have free wifi and it's pretty quiet during the day so it's a great spot to come work and sip on a beer! It does get pretty crowded in the evenings and weekends so it's always wise to check the waitlist online early. You can add your party to the waitlist and they'll text you when they have a table ready, super convenient! read more
If you're walking around being a tourist, it's an awesome find when you see a bar that's busy in the day time and a win-win when you didn't even have to drive to get there. If the lines are looking long, just know there are two places you can order from! Bar on the left and ride side of the store. The menu was limited, but if you're an IPA fan, you'll have more options. If you plan on getting some food with your beers, think again. ***they do not serve food*** But they do have complimentary pretzels :) Wasn't able to really check out the inside, but I guess they have something for the little ones, didn't expect to see them at a bar. They have plenty of outdoor seating AND they're dog friendly! Would've given this place 3 stars, but I love dogs and having some beers and dogs to pet is always a great day. read more
What a great spot to grab a tasty brew and hang out with friends! I am visiting from California (in a location littered with fantastic breweries) and was so excited to find such a great gem on the outskirts of Seattle! I met up with some colleagues of mine that live in Seattle and we enjoyed a lovely chat under the covered patio heaters. We each had different beers (and cider) and all agreed that they were all wonderful. I had a nitro golden stout with coffee and it was fantastic, it was so good I drank it so fast that I didn't even get a photo of it. As you can see with my photo, I also drank the blueberry sour so quickly I got the last drops in the photo! Great vibes, awesome, helpful, and down right lovely staff. One of the folks working there chatted with me about growing up in CA and offered some great recommendations in the area. Will 100% be back upon our next visit (or inevitable move) to town! read more

Fremont Brewing is definitely a solid brewery worth making the trip to Fremont from Downtown for. I've gone two times and each time I have a really good beer. The first time I took a Bourbon Barrel Aged Dark Star home and this time I took home their 10 Year Anniversary Stout. I didn't make the party as I was at the A's vs. Mariners games, but was stoked they still had bottles on Monday. One of my friends loves/reviews beers, so I made sure I picked him up a bottle as well. We both loved the Dark Star when I brought that home the first time. I had the Green to Gold while I was there and really enjoyed it. The balance was really good without it being overly hoppy, even though it was a double. I look forward to cracking open the 10 Year sometime this Winter. Cheers Fremont! read more

Relaxing beer garden, perfect for summer drinks. Plenty of outdoor space and seating for groups large or small. Good selection of beers you can taste before ordering. The IPAs and pilsners are great, the cider is surprisingly tasty too. read more

I really love the building inside they have outside and inside seating but there's a area that is bleacher seats which was pretty cool . They have a good selection of beers so definitely go check it out . I got the snowy walrus IPA and my husband got the Revenge IPA both were good but I liked mine better read more

We only had a few days in Seattle, but we wanted to maximize the number of craft breweries visits in a long weekend. Fortunately for us, this brewery was just a few blocks away from the Fremont Troll (which was a much longer walk from Belltown Brewing, honestly). The brewery was packed when we arrived, and there were lines for both the bar and the loo. The line for the potty was much longer than the line for the booze, and after two beers at one brewery, a 3+ mile walk and a short stint with a big troll, we both really needed time with the bathroom. For what it's worth, the unisex bathrooms were surprisingly clean, despite the number of people traipsing in and out of there. I was impressed. My husband - a gentleman to the core - let me go first, so I was in line and ready with my beer order by the time he joined me. I went with a flight, of course. The guy helping us was very friendly and didn't blink an eye when I mispronounced "gose". We had a good laugh, and he told us a funny story about his background before he turned around to fill our order. We were able to find a spot at a picnic table outside, where we cozied up to nurse our drinks and relax. My flight consisted of: the guest cider, Autumn's Blush by Finn River (tart, but light and fruity); the Gose with sea salt and coriander (tasted a lot like a tree branch smells, but it wasn't terrible, strange as that may sound); Wandering Wheat (definitely not a winner, this one tasted like an old wet dishrag smells; I couldn't take more than a sip); Proletariat Porter (dark and rich with a lovely toasted flavor); and the Bourbon barrel-aged Dark Star, which was on nitro that night (also very dark and smooth). My husband got a pint of the Kolsch, which he enjoyed. I liked the vibe of the brewery, even though it was very crowded. They have a small area available for kids, and two lines open for orders. There's a lot of space, both indoors and outdoors, and some board game options for those looking for a diversion with their beer. Definitely also liked the area - right on the water, lots of shops and cute houses, friendly atmosphere. I'd like to go back. read more

My favorite in Seattle!! So many options, love the outdoor seating next Gas Works park, to go service is also great. I can ask for nothing more from a brewery. They recently updated their logo and they dont serve food, so take some of your local favorite munchies! read more
Came in on a Monday (President's Day) at around 3 after visiting the Fremont Troll nearby. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. There were a few beers that we wanted to try, so we decided to do the sampler, which comes with five samples of your choice. We went with Nitro, Space Danger, Head Full of Dynomite, Raspberry Sour Weiss, and Virtue. The only one I really liked was the Raspberry Sour Weiss - it wasn't too sour or sweet. I really wanted to like the nitro since I love nitro and dark beers, but this one was a bit too bitter for me. It also seems like most of their beers (at least the ones available when we went) are IPAs, which I'm not a fan of. So if you like IPAs, this brewery is definitely for you! read more

I also got a pint of Head Full of Dynamite since that was the most popular which turned out to be my favorite one of them all! Great Selection of beer, but food selection not so great :( The food wasn't the tastiest, but it will do for a snack! The staff is always pretty nice and I love the venue itself. There is outdoor seating, indoor seating, and plenty of room for lots of people! read more
Loved this place. Stopped on a beautiful Friday afternoon and outside seating turned out to be a great place to enjoy a beer. Combination of both shade and full sun. Ordered the Lush IPA ($6) and with the 80 rating ibu it was plenty of "hop" to enjoy. They provide complimentary pretzels...and get this....apples. Pretty crazy. Very chill and turns out to be great place to bring your dog. read more
I've always been a fan of Fremont Brewing, but Covid times means it's been our lifeline. They are continually improving their outdoor area with heating and now working on a permanent structure. I'm personally not comfortable with indoor dining, but it was all they had left when we got there. They sat us by the door and opened the garage door, and I felt there was safe sufficient air flow. Always a good beer lineup and ability to order pre-made sandwiches from Salumi. We personally do Uber Eats delivered and enjoy the experience. read more

EASILY one of the best breweries I have ever been to. There really wasn't anything not to like about Fremont. Everything from the environment to the beer selection was absolutely perfect. To start with, the location is great. There's plenty of parking in the surrounding area which is always nice near a big city. The inside is huge with plenty of tables and a couple couches to sit and relax. The true gem of this place is their outdoor area. There are a ton of tables and benches to sit. There are options in the sun and in the shade. It's really nice that there are large trees/plants surrounding the area which adds some privacy from the people walking on the sidewalk outside the brewery. We opted for a flight to get a good taste of what they had to offer. We told the bartender our preferences and let him pick out our beers. We got a good variety of types so we could try a bit of everything. Honestly, they were all fantastic. They has everything from super hoppy IPAs to seriously fruity sours. It was nice to be at a place that had good options for people with very different palettes. We even had a couple of pints of individual beers because we had to have more. Overall, this place has an amazing vibe to it. The beer was phenomenal, and the location was a beer lover's paradise. Its the perfect place to grab a pint (or two.. or a flight.. no judgement) and just relax. Will definitely be returning! read more

I would give this Brewery a 4.5 star overall. Great west coast hospitality. Much better than California( bay area and LA area) feel. Their head full of Dynamite is the best- an IPA with a fruity flavor to it. We ordered a flight to know which beer is better for our taste bud. They have one sour option. The whiskey aged barrel stout was too sweet for me but it is definitely one of the strongest beers I have ever had. There are pretzels to munch on the side which is on the house- good isn't it? They have a bunch of options including- IPA's, lager, stouts, Apple Cider. They don't have food trucks or other finger food options which is a downside. However, the ambience and the people are really nice. read more
An excellent brewery and a Seattle classic. The beer garden is very nice to sit outside but can get very busy during special events. You always can find good IPAs here, especially during Sep or Oct when they have very good fresh hop beers, worth checking out. Super awesome brewery with a great staff and even better beer! My GF and I decided to chill/study here after finding the Fremont Troll. The place is actually quite spacious with indoor and outdoor seating. They have a large variety of beers to choose from especially IPAs which my girlfriend loves. There was so much to choose from and thankfully they let us try samples of everything that we were interested in. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable and helped us decide what we might like. I ended up getting the Wandering Wheat while my GF got the Beta which were both fantastic. We found an intimate spot in the corner where we could have our own space and enjoy our beers. They have a bowl of pretzels which you can get to snack on. We then tried the Randall 1 which is the Wandering Wheat with Peaches and Randall 2 which is the Belgian Sunrise with lemon, orange, and ginger. Oh wow the Randall 2 was sooo good and unique. You can definitely taste all of the distinct flavors which was delicious. Overall great place to catch up and hang out or just chill while meeting new people. I'd highly recommend! read more

This was such a great find while on vacation!! We were drawn to this particular brewery because of the high reviews and the fact that they have a really big outdoor space. Upon arrival we could tell this is the place to be during the summer. It was extremely packed and we couldn't get a seat at one of the long community tables outside but we found a nice little barrel along the bushes to set up shop. The beers are good, they offer free pretzels and games. We probably played 15 games of Uno and didn't care at all that we stood majority of the time. Eventually we went inside & found a spot on the wooden bleacher type seats. Which was fun and different. The employees behind the bar were extremely friendly and I loved the vibe of the entire place/people there the most. I wish we had more time to make it back here more than once, but I'd recommend it to anyone in the area!! read more
After visiting the fremont troll and fair, we wanted to try this place after seeing so many high reviews. We came around 6pm and it was decently crowded. There was almost no line coming in though. There's a lot of bench tables and seating inside and out. When we went to order, the lady at the register was really helpful and offered samples. We ended up getting the cider and blueberry beer. They also have non-alcoholic options. We asked about food and they told us there are pretzels by the water, but no food to purchase and We were welcome to bring in our own food. We also found some apples sitting out. We sat ourselves and hung out for a while. The decor of the place was really nice. It seems like it used to be a warehouse, but the barrels and plants really make the place classier. We definitely would come again and try their other beers. read more

What an amazing brewery!!! Fremont reminded me a lot of LA's Golden Road. Street parking was difficult. You might end up parking a few flocks away. Huge location. They have a large outdoor patio and inside has tables & bleacher seating inside. They have pretzels to snack on. Toys for kids. Very family friendly. Friendly servers. Super crowded. One of the most popular breweries in Seattle. They have 2 beer stations. The side second station was a lot faster and less crowded then the main one. Same beer at both. Summer Ale - $5 pint - Light and refreshing. Flight - $13-15 - You get 5 choices. Price depends on the beers you pick. read more
A historic brewing staple in Seattle. I finally got to come here and visit! I have enjoyed Fremont beers for several years, even in Austin TX. It was great to come and visit where all the magic happens. This is definitely a magical spot. One of the most beautiful breweries I have been too. They have created a spacious tropical garden outdoor drinking experience with an epic Seattle view. They also have a great indoor area with two different bars to service the large audience. They have some good local ciders on tap. Good beer, great place, great people. What more could you want? read more

It's 4th of July and i wanted to watch the fireworks at gasworks park. With a lot of time to kill I decided to come to Fremont. As expected it was really busy by there was still a lot of seating. It's outdoor and inside the vibe throughout the whole place is very relaxed and accepting.You can bring in your own food and eat while you drink. They do not serve food other than some pretzels. The line was long but it moved extremely fast the two girls in the front were very helpful and they let you try the beer before you get the one you want. Please though if it's busy just get a beer and don't try to taste them all. We all kind of know what we like so just go with it or get a sampler. I had the nitro dark star: such a great tasting beer. Beautiful coffee flavor with just the perfect amount of thickness and the nitro threw it over the top with the foam. The sour weisse was good but nothing to rave about the sour flavor was there and the blueberry was not as prominent as I'd like it to be but overall a ok sour. Both of there hazys where my favorites if you have a beer from Fremont these two should be the ones you get the head full of dynamite and the sky kraken are the way to go. Overall the environment and the beers along with the beautiful views this place give you are a must visit when in Seattle. read more

A great place to hang out with friends.There is inside area and a huge outdoor area that's great for summer and spring time. During winter, they have heat lamps on. I visited in January on a cold night there was still a lot of people outside. I came on a Saturday night and there was still plenty of seating. You have to order at the cashier and the employees were all very nice. My friends love beer but I don't. The nice thing is that they let me sample a cider before purchasing and I ultimately decided to go with a non-alcoholic drink - root beer. haha. read more

They don't allow large parties or outdoor seating or any outside food. They will call the cops on you

No, there is no WiFi available - there is a "guest" labeled SID, but when I inquired about the password, I was told it is not for patrons.
