What a cool concept! Came here on a Friday shortly after 4 PM. It was not crowded even though there was a birthday party happening. While there was a wait for some games, it was not long and there was plenty to do in the meantime. There's a variety of games from classic 80s and 90s (Pac-Man, Tetris, Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter), skeeball, driving, and a variety of pinball machines. $20 to play unlimited games seems like a great deal, especially with younger kids who often lose quickly and would blow through $20 in games in a matter of 20 minutes. This place is an absolute gem. I cannot believe I have driven past here thousands of times and never stopped in until recently. On a bitter cold Saturday, my husband and I needed something to do as were were getting stir crazy. We saw that for $20 we could play as many games for as long as we wanted so we decided to give it a shot. This place is impressive, they have sooooo many games! Nostalgic games from the 1970's and 80' to modern games like Strange Things. Each game was unique and fun. My favorite pinball game ended up being Guardians of the Galaxy, who knew! We got to also play some old school Mario, skee ball, and Big Buck Hunter. Overall, it was a great time.only piece of advice, bring hand sanitizer! read more

Owner is rude and likes to talk about 2 year olds in front of guests. My grandson was on the bike and he said he couldn't get on it so I took him off. Of course being 2 he cried. The owner thought it was acceptable to talk about him and call him a spoiled brat and continue to cuss about my grandson. When he was questioned about it he kicked the whole family out. Great deal alert: 4 play for the price of 3 on the weekend. Excellent game selection. Almost every machine in working order. Home of Hercules, the largest pinball machine ever manufactured. Only 280 were made and there are only 21 places in the world you can play one. The staff was extremely friendly. Nice and dark inside. We didn't try any drinks or food. read more

This is my second time common here and the games changed immensely in the last few months! They added more driving games and some new pinball games. Luckily my favorites (foo fighters, stranger things, rush) are still here. This is a great place for kids and adults, alike. Even adults who are horrible at games, like me! Since admission covers all but 1 game, you can try and fail a bunch of times without wasting quarters. You can even leave, grab a bite, and come back! They do offer food and drink here, but it's a limited menu. read more

If you like pinball and old arcade games I would highly recommend this spot. Cost $20 for all you can play. Lots of pinball machines to choose from and a lot of popular old school arcade games. All the workers are always friendly and helpful. They have a bar and some snacks but you can bring in outside food since they don't serve any. read more

If you're an old school gamer stop by!! Took my GF and Son (10 years old) I'll say this the collection of Pinball is awesome, so many classic and modern units... All the games we're playing nothing was out of service. The arcade games were awesome 30+ years old all working amazing games! The food is not the greatest but it's an arcade, I'd love to see them accept people to bring in Outside Food and Drinks ... the ones they sell is kinda pricey for what your getting My son enjoining his time for a solid 30-45 mins and he wasn't interested anymore... But not shocked when you have never played these old school games.... Graphics are not as good as nowadays. The inside was clean and great seating to relax and eat and or drink. TL;DR This is an excellent, medium sized, classic video and pinball arcade that has a family oriented vibe...and a little alcohol. GAMES: Don't get me wrong when I say "family oriented." This ain't Chuck E. Friggin' Cheese. This place actually has a good selection of Old Skool video games and an excellent selection of pinball machines. To be more precise, there are about 40 pinball tables and 25 or 26 video games. Pretty much all of the arcade blockbusters from the late 70s, and the 80s, can be found, and all seem to be in good working order. Looking for rare games? Sorry, you won't find them here. You'll have to trek to the Galloping Ghost or Funspot for those. FOOD: Free Play Pinball Arcade doesn't pretend that arcades can make great pizza...they don't have a food menu. BUT, if you do want great pizza while you're at FPPA, there's a Buddy's down the road. So if you DO want pizza, or burgers, or barbecue, or Chinese, or Thai, or Greek, or Coneys, or whatever other manner of food, feel free to buy it elsewhere, and bring it in. BOOZE: A small but serviceable selection of adult beverages is available to purchase and consume on premises. (You can't, however, BYOB). COST: All day play cost 20 bucks, or less. Almost every game, including pinball, is set to free play. The Hercules table is the lone exception; it costs one dollar per play. Wife and I had a ton of fun playing pinball and other retro games last night 8/21/25. The facility was extremely clean and staff were friendly and welcoming. It was awesome to just pay for entry and then able to play all the games without having to constantly jam tokens or swipe a card. We were absolutely awful at the Alien shooting game but were able to just keep hitting the button and continue on the campaign every time we died. We were able to complete the game and had a ton of fun. Only one game in the whole place you have to pay to play ($1) and thats the world's largest pinball machine, but we were gifted two tokens to play and had a fun run. The ball is the size of a cue ball! Will definitely return here again soon. read more

Fun place to come if you're looking to get out the house. We had a great time looking at and playing all the old games and pinball machines. As someone who doesn't know much about pinball it was still fun, but I wish there was a little bit more to do and maybe a little more variety. This place might be my new favorite arcade/pinball spot in Metro-Detroit! I popped in while they were still setting things up for open in 2019, but due to the pandemic, never made it back here until recently. The $20 entry is a steal, considering I probably spent over that on Smash TV if I had to keep putting quarters in. The staff were incredibly friendly! I don't drink, but I appreciate that they have a bar for my drinking friends. Highly recommend this place! read more

Everyone loves an open bar where sky's the limit. But instead of unlimited free drinks, this venue has unlimited play on their classic arcades + pinball machines. Pay your cover fee then play till you're bored or until you're kicked out. Most of the machines are as you guessed are .... pinball machines! They also have couple skeet-ball stations, few old skool arcade games and I believe darts as well. All game stations of pinball and arcade machines have cup holder for your drinks. Alcohol is sold here as well and the bar is next to the check-in counter. I was a fan of this place. Would go back if I planned on playing pinball for a couple hours or more anytime read more

We drove from Downriver based on a friend's recommendation. Free Play is awesome for kids and adults, alike. My family and I took advantage of the 4 for $60 deal on a Saturday. We arrived around 12:30 and the place was relatively wide open. Tons of great pinball machines and classic arcade games like PAC-Man, Street Fighter, and Donkey Kong. There are also a few racing games with steering wheels and gas pedals, and my favorite BIG BUCK HUNTER - safari. There is a cooler with drinks and chocolate milk, as well as a bar for the big kids. Love having a neat arcade like this so close to home. I love that it is just an entry fee and you don't have to lug around a bunch of tokens to play. Big variety of pinball machines as well as other nostalgic cabinets. The bar selection is just OK at best. It would be nice to have more craft beer options but maybe they just don't sell well here. They have an amazing variety of pinball and classic video games, more than you'll see just about anywhere. The pins run the spectrum from classic old EMs to the most brand-new ones like Rush and Alice Cooper. Do you want to play Pac-Man? They have the original, Ms, Jr, Baby and Super Pac-Man along with a lot of other old-school and not-so-old-school ones. You will absolutely have a lot of fun here. read more
