The Hamlin Pub Clinton Township is worth the trip for small or large gatherings. They offer food and drink specials everyday. The menu has a very nice selection to choose from. Had a Bourbon Steak today and it was very good. The service is amazing. I never had a bad experience when Çaelin waits on me. Çaelin thanks for being so positive and happy. Çaelin always makes sure you're having a great dining experience. The ambiance rocks. Something is always happening at the Hamlin Pub Clinton Township. Went for half off pizza on a Thursday. Short wait but luckily we found a couple seats right away at the bar. Very large beer selection, live band, good pepperoni pizza and excellent ranch. Lots of TVs and different sports playing. The staff was friendly. Not much more you can ask for in a bar. read more

It was busy but we were seated right away. They have only been re-opened since the fire for a short time. The inside has been expanded and looks fabulous. There are Detroit-themed sports logo's on the ceiling. There is plenty of lighting and seating. I do believe they could benefit with more servers but hopefully that will come in time. Our server was excellent. She was friendly, knowledgeable, served items on time and checked in on us. Like many people, I love pizza, and this pizza was one of the best I've every had. I like regular ol' pepperoni pizza. They used the old-world (cup and char) pepperoni which to me is the most delicious with that crunch followed by a burst of pepperoni flavor...mmmmm! The crust and sauce were just right. The cheese was of high quality where it was smooth and not chewy. Loved that pizza. Now, on to the other item I enjoyed to hilt...that French-onion soup was perfection. The broth was dense enough to deliver a great taste of both beef and onion. The onions were soft and plenty. Again, that cheese was awesome. Normally, I only eat a little of the cheese atop French-onion soup as it is very chewy but this stuff was smooth and really went down well. My friends loved their pretzel sticks and dip. They really liked the dip a lot. The beers were delivered in tall cold glasses and my wine was served at a perfect chilled temperature in a nice wine glass. I can't wait to go back and taste other menu items. They have great garlic parm wings! We come on Wednesday's for the 8 wings for 8 dollars. When you get the special that's all you get! You want some ranch that's extra... There are a lot of hidden charges here! They will nickel and dime you all day long! Half off pizza on Thursday? The only way you get it half off is without items! I have been to several of these locations, and this one really stands out as far as service and comfort. It seems not to be as busy, having a comfortable atmosphere for casual dining. The specials that they run are amazing, the burger and a beer delicious, the pizza, just as good. read more

First off, it is BEAUTIFUL in here!! Classy and brand new, not too dark. They spent $ making this into a wonderful space. We're still here but I wanted to make sure I typed this up and didn't forget. It was a long anticipated road waiting for them to open. I only say that because I'm sure others will complain and bring that up. There's always more obstacles when opening up a business that the general public doesn't know about though. Let me say- it was worth the wait! Our server has been so attentive and sweet. The mozzarella sticks were better than average, but nothing to brag about (would order again). The beers were cold and tasty- and only $4.25 for a tall beer of the month (Labatt Blue Light). Nashville hot boneless wings were good quality and sauce was tasty. Spinach & Artichoke Dip was really good! Chips were great too. Peanut Butter Pie was so good! It took forever to open but they did a really nice job. By far the nicest Hamlin pub. Standard pub grub, I like the hot Italian sandwich. Service was good and I wasn't at the bar for a change. Not ready to add it to the circuit but that is a possibility, but maybe not as the menu is limited. read more

I came here with a group of 10 family members, and this was easily one of the worst dining experiences we've had. Every single person at our table received their food except me. My meal didn't come out until everyone else was already finishing -- and when it finally arrived, it was wrong. I specifically asked for no mushrooms, and it still came covered in them. When we got the check, they still charged me for the dish even though it was late AND incorrect. The server brought the manager over, and that's when the experience went from disappointing to downright unacceptable. She came over with a rude, dismissive attitude and acted like we were inconveniencing her by asking for the issue to be fixed. Instead of apologizing or offering any real solution, she said she could only take 20% off the salad. When someone in my family suggested 50% or simply removing it since I barely got to eat, she refused. Eventually she agreed to take the salad off the bill -- but they also took the corrected salad away from me entirely, even though it was their mistake in the first place. So not only did I get my food extremely late and incorrect, but when they finally fixed it, they removed the replacement dish just because we didn't want to pay full price for something I barely had the chance to eat. The delay was bad. The mistake was bad. But the manager's attitude and the way the situation was handled was unbelievably unprofessional. There's no reason a customer should be treated like that over a problem the restaurant created. Definitely won't be returning. read more

Food is so so, service is average, seems "Regulars" get all the attention, ambiance is typical sports bar. Wrote management and never heard back when we told them our veggies on our Bloody Mary were all slimey, warm and old like they had been laying in a tray behind the bar for days.................sad part is, the bloody mary was great, the veggies and attention to getting a hand written letter got no attention whatsoever so we will not be back. Hamiln Pubs in the area I am sorry don't offer anything more than all of the other sports bars in the area except higher prices because they are a chain. I held my sister's 70 birthday party at the Clinton Twp location. I planned this party all from Florida and Theresa was very helpful planning my event . The food was as my guests put it ... Outstanding! Steven our server was an absolute gem ! He was very attentive to my quests and took several opportunities to check on me to be sure the host was being taken care of , that's was very sweet . To be honest , I've been here 3 or 4 times and everytime there has been an issue. I would say the service is sub-par at best. We came tonight on a Monday and it took 30 min+ to get fries and boneless wings . There were probably 15-20 people total in the place , most were drinking. Everytime I've come here there has been a different issue . I would normally rate things well since I'm in the restuarant industry but I've given this place too many times . I live close so that is why I want to love this bar but either the training needs to be better or the manager needs to be better . Not sure which one needs to be addressed and I hate to say this, but as a owner I would want to know . read more

Salmon for leant was wonderful , but the pizza was garbage it was the worst bar pizza I've ever had.

It's unfortunate about the service is just as horrible. It's the newest location as the long-standing location near 23 and Hayes.

We had an amazing experience here today. It was our first time in and the service was great. Our server was friendly and attentive, and the managers were so kind and welcoming. We were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary, and they surprised us with a round of drinks on the house, which was completely unexpected and so thoughtful. The food was delicious -- my husband had the Mango Bango Tacos and I had the Guinness Steak Salad, and both were excellent. We've never felt so welcomed at a place before and will definitely be back. read more

Where to begin? Took my son there for his 21 st birthday with our fam- when I called for reservations they said thy were not taking anymore- so they had first come first serve seating- we headed right up there at 4:15 on a Friday- they hold tall tops for 7 pm starting at opening apparently and didn't offer anyone to ever sit there if there was a paper denoting "reserved" even if that was 2.5 hours from my arrival- so we got a short table for 8 - fine - we needed prob 12 - but took the biggest table available- bar seats became available so as more people in our party came in they grabbed bar seats at the end of our table area- at least they would be close to us- family started ordering drinks at the bar - since that's where there seats were- a few people left and we still needed at least the four top table as one of ours kids was not 21 so could not move to the bar- manager asked if we could move to the four top behind us leaving our table of 8 for more parties "we do have a wait and your taking up two areas" yes we took up two areas because in the beginning we needed 12 and you didn't have it ( they really did, those tall toppers that were reserved for the next 2.5 hrs and sat empty this whole time) mismanaged by what appeared to be three managers- all fumbling over what to do but refused to let anyone sit at the 6 tall toppers all reserved for later! I have had similar seating issues here every time I have been since it opened - we spent about $800 Last night, couldn't be given the seating we needed while it sat empty, was asked to move in the middle of my time there and was told if I have a table we can't order from the bar yet four family were actually sitting at the bar- they are trying to run this place like restaurant when it's a bar- let it be first come first serve seating as your other locations are - we saw people come in not be allowed to sit at the reserved areas either and leave!
