Very disproportionated with Irish egg rolls. Hardly any filling and the shell was not cooked fully.

Very disappointed in the Irish egg rolls. Hardly any filling and the shell was not cooked all the way.

I'm confused as to why I'm no longer able to call to place a carry out order after I had an issue with a order that you guys agreed to replace. I always have to come in and place a order and wait for it to be made rather than just placing it over the phone and it being ready when I arrived. I tried to call when I was standing inside and it goes straight to voicemail. But then it rings and other people begin placing their orders.

Random stop into this restaurant on a Thursday afternoon. I enjoyed the open concept and windows. I was able to get fresh air without having to sit on the patio. I had the burger which was made fresh, and the homemade kettle chips which were also delicious. The waitress was very friendly as well.

Not bad. It's bar food. $12=Seasoned patty, nice serving, and craving fed! $2 more to substitute for French fries. I would order again plus good service always wins my heart even if means trying a new entree. It was only one server for the tables. Yikes! Give it a go tho'

We stopped in for Burger Night 1/2 off Monday. I've been wanting to try this place for quite some time. It's just a cool little pub with some awesome specials throughout the week: Burgers, Tacos, Pizza, Appetizers. They often have events and even Trivia. Just convenient with its location. We enjoyed our burgers, my friend had a tower of onion rings on his....It was impressive, and I had an Irish Burger with sauerkraut & corn beef, yummy! Pay attention to the small print, you have to each order two alcoholic beverages to get the discount. My friend only had one so we got charged full price, even though he ordered a Diet Coke, too. I think that should count, not everyone drinks alcohol so have an option for those who do not partake, maybe just the purchase of two beverages or something. Oh well, no biggie...but plan on drinking if you stop in for a special of the week.

Very generous portion and the coleslaw had its own twist. Yummm

We had lunch here after reading a review about the amazing fish and chips. It was truly amazing and I can highly recommend it!

Hennessey's has become my favorite go-to after work to relax. They have a nice menu selection, decent house wine and great staff.

I really wanted to like this place…read more I came here on New Year's Eve and they had a free buffet, which honestly set the bar pretty high. Simple food but done well -- a sub, stroganoff, salad. Nothing fancy, just generous and genuinely appreciated. Between that and seeing all the events at The Hut (bands, brunch, paint & sip, Super Bowl parties), I fully planned on coming back. Unfortunately, this return visit changed my mind. I ordered the turkey Reuben with onion rings. The onion rings were cooked so hard they lost all flavor, and the turkey was smoked but extremely dry. To make matters worse, there was a small piece of blue plastic or bristle in the sandwich. Service was polite, but uncomfortable at times. The older man -- who I believe may be the owner -- lingered very close, seemed shaky, and poured drinks far stronger than intended. I usually appreciate a generous pour, but these were unbalanced and not enjoyable. When the bill came, there was a cash vs credit price option, and we were told we were the first guests to use the new system. Even so, the total still didn't match the menu prices we ordered from, and that wasn't clearly explained upfront, which made the experience confusing. Ambiance-wise, it's a classic dive bar -- no complaints there. Live bands, lots of events, and a hole-in-the-wall feel. That part is honestly the strongest draw. For anyone unfamiliar, this used to be Mangan's Irish Hut for years. The original owners retired, someone new bought it, and now it's just "The Hut." The Irish Hut signage is still on the building, with BBQ signage in spots as well, so it feels like the place is still finding its identity. If I'm speaking directly to the owner: there is potential here. The event ideas and community focus are great. But food consistency, drink balance, menu accuracy, and clearer communication all need attention.

My friends ordered chicken and they loved it lightly breaded and was cooked right. They have several beers on tap, I would say about 10, I had Yuengling. We visited BJ's for the first time tonight with a group of nine. The restaurant itself was clean…read moreand spacious, and we had been looking forward to trying it for a while. We made reservations in advance during happy hour and were initially told we would need to sit in the bar area to receive happy hour pricing. However, since all of the seating there was high-top tables and we had children with us, that wasn't an option. The staff accommodated us by seating us in the main dining area while still honoring the happy hour specials, which we appreciated. Our server, Jake, was great. He was knowledgeable about the menu, attentive, and offered helpful recommendations throughout the evening. We started with the spinach artichoke dip and chicken potstickers, both of which were good. The kids ordered mac and cheese, Parmesan buttered noodles, chicken tenders, and mini cheeseburgers. The mac and cheese and chicken tenders were very standard. The buttered noodles had to be remade, as they initially came out hard and dried, as if they had been sitting under a heat lamp. The mini cheeseburgers were extremely overcooked--more like hockey pucks--so we sent them back and replaced them with a pasta dish, which unfortunately was also hard. Three adults ordered the prime rib dinner (medium) with whipped potatoes and asparagus. All three came out overcooked. The potatoes were gummy, the asparagus was woody with the ends not trimmed, and the prime rib itself was described as dry and gritty--almost like rehydrated jerky. My husband sent his back and ordered Sal's Brewhouse Chicken instead, which was also disappointing--chewy, stringy, and overly sour from the lemon sauce to the point it was inedible. I ordered the crispy jalapeño burger, which was good, but my fries were noticeably undercooked compared to others at the table. The highlight of the meal was the pizookie, which was delicious and the only standout item of the night. Manager Alex did comp a significant portion of our bill, which we appreciated, and our server Jake handled everything professionally. However, overall, the food quality was very inconsistent. Out of nine meals, only about three were acceptable. While we might consider returning for dessert, we wouldn't come back for dinner.

It took 20ish minutes to get drinks and refills. I had asked for a water several times and we had to end up sharing. We got chicken tenders, poutine and pierogi for appetizers. The poutine and chicken tenders were both amazing! The chicken was fresh and very good quality, it seemed to be hand breaded. The poutine had great flavor also! The pierogi was dry and not great, so I would skip those next time. For dinner I ordered the mac and cheese and French onion soup. The French onion soup was so salty it was inedible. The Mac and cheese was also disappointing. I thought it would be baked or have a sauce and it didn't. It reminded me more of a kids meal (but with adult prices) and was a small portion. Husband got the fish and chips and he enjoyed them, but said he wished they gave malt vinegar with them. Overall the service was slow and some dishes were great and some were not so great.

Their handmade pizza is absolutely amazing and nobody competes with it. I usually order the pizza and the Caesar salad, which is huge and easily shareable for 2-3 people. The kitchen alone is the reason we continue to come back. The owners clearly care about this place and have put their heart into it, so I want to make it clear that this review is not directed toward them personally. Unfortunately, the biggest downside is the crowd late at night on weekends. The bathrooms are often left disgusting by disrespectful customers, and the karaoke crowd can get pretty rough. Service also tends to be slow enough that you'll probably end up walking to the bar yourself for drinks. That being said, this has still become one of our regular meetup spots with friends before deciding where the night is going. We usually go very late and stay until close, so I'm sure it's not always the same atmosphere during earlier hours. If you can look past some of the chaos, the food alone makes this place worth trying at least once. I really wanted to give 5 stars because the food deserves it, but the overall environment keeps me from doing that.
