Wife and I have had food and drinks here about 15 times over 6 years. On one occasion we split a meal and were charged extra to do this, we are in our 70's and don't eat too much and don't like leftovers. They do an ethnic night every week. I love polish food, so decided to make the trip there. The food actually surpassed my expectations. It was authentic and the portion was generous. With that being said, I ordered kielbasa and kraut but received a combination platter instead. I also asked for soda water and received tonic in both my cocktails. It didn't seem exceedingly busy at the bar, but it is more of a restaurant. Maybe it's better to get a table here. The food was worth giving it another shot. read more

The restaurant is a longtime classic locally. We stopped for the Friday prime rib "special" which had smashed potatoes, au jus, and about 10 very skinny asparagus spears.that were hard to eat, although they were tasty. The prime rib as presented as ordered, and was very good. Why only 3 stars? Because there used to a door into the dining room. Due to problems walking, we both found it hard to get to the dining room as we had to enter the front door, walk through the bar, and go back to a table in the dining room. It really was not friendly to the handicapped. Any of us could become disabled. It is really a shame that so little thought went into accommodating those with various physically accessibility problems. That dining room door would have greatly helped. Food is inconsistent every time we come, supposedly they had gotten a new cook ....well they must of quit , the fish is beyond salty like they just let it sit in a bucket of salt before they use it as is other dishes we have had ,chicken piccata is way too lemony, and chicken parmesan is always burnt. If your going to charge an exaggerated amount for a dish make sure its executed right !! Will not return because of inconsistent food and price for what you get. read more

Pizza was excellent when we got it! The cheese blend is quality, and you can tell in every bite. We also got the antipasto salad, which was delicious. Only possible complaint - they used banana pepper rings instead of pepperoncini. The service was friendly and efficient, especially with our table of 9. Our waitress never let our glasses get even close to empty and everything came out promptly. The space was nice too. We were in the back room which was moderate volume. It was right on the canal, so got to watch some boaters pass by while eating. Overall, great experience. We will be back! read more

Came here a few times for drinks and finally ate dinner here. Very nice place on the water; one of the better places if not the best on the lake. The inside is very clean and has a great feel to it. I think the exterior from the road is misleading, as it's very nice on the inside. Definitely worth the trip by boat, if that doesn't work, go by car for sure. Tried the calamari, which was very good. I'd say tied for the best I've had. We ordered pizza; round pepperoni with butter Parm crust. Very good. Some of our friends went with pasta dishes, and they said all was fantastic. The bread they bring was great. They also had special garlic butter, which I've not had before or anything like it. Well guess what I got the cheese ravioli carry out and nowhere in the description of this meal does it say it has mushrooms and even worse their canned mushrooms. They've also got onions under the cheese doesn't say anything about onions under cheese. This is the third time in a row I've got a bad meal from this place algonac needs to get better places to eat or at least hire competent people to make the food. Will not be going back there ever again be warned ask the waitress what's in your meal before you order it. Our family signed a contract with Club Capri to rent out space for a bridal shower for next Saturday and have already put a down payment. We did this do to the large volume of family that is coming from out of state. We just received a call and Club Capri advised they will not be able to accommodate. We are now up the St. Clair river without a paddle... We would have preferred to see cockroaches all around the establishment and been able to accommodate by killing them. This place is disgusting. One time my family and I got take out on New Year's Day here. We got some calamari that was clearly past it's prime. We eat a lot of seafood so we knew that it was not safe to eat. We called the owner to notify them and they insisted that there was nothing wrong with it and that we needed to bring it back. No one wanted to drive since they were about to close. They told us to bring it back the next day but the disgusting smell was so strong we ended up just pitching it and eating the cost. I used to live in Algonac/Clay... used to get pizza almost every Sunday during football season. Just looking at the photos, and noticed the pizza looks the same! I am sure it tastes just as awesome as it did when I lived there. Wish I could get some here in Florida. nobody on the Treasure Coast has any idea how to make pizza. Rude! Rude! Rude! & we never got our food to eat at the restaurant. The manager was rude and does not know how to speak to customers when the restaurant is in the wrong. We had reservations for a big group. I was sitting at a four top and the other group were at two bigger tables. They all were able to eat their food, hang out for a bit and leave before the manager came to us. The manager acted like she didn't know how to handle the situation. First, a round of free drinks and we said no. We just want our food. Then $20 off our bill when us four all got entrees and drinks. Please keep in mind our food is still not out and she said 5 min. Then 10 min would go by. She never offered to comp our food or acted like she was sorry for the inconvenience this become. We finally said cancel our order if we cannot get our food for free and to go. Since now our party is waiting for us over 30 min. (Boated there) Then she said fine, I'll get your bill just for your drinks and cancel your order. She made comments in a rude demeanor "well, will that made you happy" & shushed us. When we had to get louder because she wouldn't let us talk. I have worked in the industry for many years and any situation like ours any restaurant would right away comp the food and apologize! Also would make sure they stayed in the kitchen until the food was done. That was not the case here. Came here with my husband, parents and our daughter one evening for dinner. My kid has always had major texture issues and just recently began eating "real" food and Italian is her favorite. We looked over the menu and my mother and I noticed a few familiar dishes. We asked our waitress about it and she confirmed that the cook is from the old Luigi's in Mt. Clemens. We both worked for the family for several years and we were glad to see these items on the menu. We don't get there nearly enough anymore (only the Harrison Twp. location is still open) and I live much closer to Capri. Husband got a seafood pasta dish. I got a shrimp scampi linguine dish and my kiddo got Alfredo. The bread was good. Salads were fresh. We got the arancini balls as an app and they were just eh. Kind of dry and I wasn't a huge fan of their red sauce. Kind of spicy, IMO. I enjoyed the ambiance. The food was OK. It wasn't anything for me to jump up and down about, but we would certainly go back at least for pizza, or possible their Sushi nights! I can't recall what my dad ordered but he LOVED it. He said it may be his new favorite pace. My mom got chicken Marsala and she felt the same way I did, take it or leave it. Our service, however, was amazing. That alone made it worth it! The decor is quaint in the back room, scones and wallpaper to look like columns... I didn't really understand the disjointed-ness from the bar area (totally different feel and overall look) and we were confused about which door to enter. So, went to the front and then had to walk all around the bar to the back room to be seated. I know a few people who say this is their absolute favorite place, so we will try again and see how it stacks up the next time.
