Food is amazing! People there are very kind and welcoming. Love the vibes I get when I'm there.

Been here several times and it is a great restaurant. Our waiter was great. Great spot by boat. Disappointing they are now charging to use a credit card and wouldn't separate checks for our party of ten. read more

Came here with my husband, parents and our daughter one evening for dinner. My kid has always had major texture issues and just recently began eating "real" food and Italian is her favorite. We looked over the menu and my mother and I noticed a few familiar dishes. We asked our waitress about it and she confirmed that the cook is from the old Luigi's in Mt. Clemens. We both worked for the family for several years and we were glad to see these items on the menu. We don't get there nearly enough anymore (only the Harrison Twp. location is still open) and I live much closer to Capri. Husband got a seafood pasta dish. I got a shrimp scampi linguine dish and my kiddo got Alfredo. The bread was good. Salads were fresh. We got the arancini balls as an app and they were just eh. Kind of dry and I wasn't a huge fan of their red sauce. Kind of spicy, IMO. I enjoyed the ambiance. The food was OK. It wasn't anything for me to jump up and down about, but we would certainly go back at least for pizza, or possible their Sushi nights! I can't recall what my dad ordered but he LOVED it. He said it may be his new favorite pace. My mom got chicken Marsala and she felt the same way I did, take it or leave it. Our service, however, was amazing. That alone made it worth it! The decor is quaint in the back room, scones and wallpaper to look like columns... I didn't really understand the disjointed-ness from the bar area (totally different feel and overall look) and we were confused about which door to enter. So, went to the front and then had to walk all around the bar to the back room to be seated. I know a few people who say this is their absolute favorite place, so we will try again and see how it stacks up the next time. There are not many Italian restaurants around, so we are always looking for local hidden gems! read more

Okay, I finally got a chance to try this place. If you're one of those people who drive by EVERY DAY and don't stop... maybe it's about time to actually STOP!? It's located right along the main river road that runs between Algonac and New Baltimore, so you can't miss it (M-29). Plus, it looks like it also offers boat docking on the canal that is right behind the restaurant (good for a summer boat ride stop). Their sign out front mentions their "Capri's Famous Pizza"... well, I didn't try the pizza, but what I did have was just fine. My meal started with some very good "Bruschetta" for an appetizer, then I had a nice house salad before they brought out my Balsamic-Glazed Chicken Breast (I just love that Balsamic flavor). There is plenty to choose from on the menu including many different pasta dishes, and they even offer Prime Rib (on Fri, Sat and Sun). Oh... and I've got to mention the bread basket that was brought out to the table had some tasty homemade bread-sticks that reminded me of what you get from "Little Caesar's"... YA!! The restaurant has a nice "bar" area in front, with the dining room around back. Both areas seemed nice and pleasing to the eye. The dining room has an interesting view of the canal out back. Overall... I think this is a very quaint restaurant (and bar) which offers food that is every bit as good as what you might get at "McRaes Big River Grill" up the river a bit. Next time you're driving by... stop in and give 'em a try. (This is also a good place to stop for all those people out on a "Sunday Drive" just taking the river route for the view) read more

This is the place I go whenever I'm in Algonac. Hands down my favorite. Everything I've tried there has been in the range from good to great! If the shrimp mac and cheese is on special, GET IT! The pizza is very good and the pasta isn't too shabby either. But the MAIN attraction for me has to be the craft beer selection. It's phenomenal. The best in the area by far (and one of the best I've seen in general), Billy the bartender really knows his stuff and is super friendly! The staff is great and every time I've gone it's been a great experience. They do have a place to pull your boat up out back! Definitely check it out! read more

Absolute gem. We stumbled upon this place a few years ago and we keep going back. The food is great, service is friendly, and the drink list is solid! I will say both times our daughter has ordered the chicken tenders, she did not seem to like them. We will try something else from the kid menu next time! Little tip- get a cosmo. I don't know what this bartender does differently but they are fantastic. read more

Lovely local place that has both sports bar fare and home style Italian food and pizza. Their homemade bread and pizza dough are amazing! Turtle cheesecake is big enough for 2-3 people and delicious. Nice bar and separate dining room. Sometimes they have live music. Nice for family and date night. read more

The food is wonderful. Best Pizza for miles around and a great friendly atmosphere. The wine and beer selections are great too!!! Come by land or sea! read more

The pizza was good, the service was not. We went for the band. The band needed more room to set up, the space of a two top table. Instead of accommodating the needs of the band, the owner told them to leave. If I could have cancelled my meal I would have. We made reservations in advance. The tables we were seated at were so close to the neighboring tables at 5'7" 110 lbs, I could barely wedge myself into a seat. This place is all about location, on the water and not a lot of other options in the area. It appears the owner does not care about the customer service and doesn't really need to. read more

The calamari strips are outstanding!! Be sure to try it. It's so tender and tasty and the sauce is great. The burgers ate cooked as ordered and tasty. The fit the buns!! We will be back!! read more

Absolutely fantastic food hands down. The pizza is probably the way to go but I can't say I've ever had any bad food here. Always the stop during the summer after boating. read more

The food was excellent we had pizza probably one of the best I've had in awhile. Atmosphere was nice waitresses were really nice. I think the manager is a little rough on her new employee. She should take note that her customers do notice. read more

Pleasantly surprised, stopped in based on reviews. Bar look and feel, but quality Italian cooking. Clearly made in house with attention to detail. Highly recommended. read more

So we were in from out of town on New Years. Made reservations for 8 at 7pm. Called ahead to confirm that we were ok for that time and number. Showed up promptly at 7, were told there was a problem with our table. Forced us to split our party in half, offered nothing for our inconvenience even the manager basically did nothing. DO NOT COUNT ON THIS PLACE. read more

The De Facto place in town for something higher end. Nice staff. Good drinks. Nice food. Still reasonable prices. Usual place in town to see who is starting out their night. read more

Food was good, but waited 35 minutes before we even got water. Had to ask for a server. Drinks were not up to standard. Get something in a bottle. Disappointed but considering a second visit because the food and prices were hood. Maybe just there on a bad night. read more

Went tonight after making reservations about two weeks ago. Were told they could not honor the reservation because the hostess got it late. We were seated in the bar for the birthday dinner we made reservations for. The food was awesome but I do not think this restaurant understands what reservations are for. Very very very disappointed cannot recommend to anyone at this point. Came all the way from Grand Rapids mi for this meal. Very very disappointed read more

Best pizza in town .. great crowds! Always a great time , when in a hurry .. I order a carry out and then come in for the perfect jack and coke ! So yummy read more

The food was excellent, service was prompt and attentive and the drinks were strong! We will absolutely be back!

We've been to club Capri several times over the years usually around our anniversary. This Restaurant has some of the best Italian food in the area with a pleasant ambience. If you're in the area, check this place out. I would recommend their meat raviolis, chicken alfredo and my husband's favorite chicken parmesan. Actually I've never order anything bad here. FYI it also has a full bar ;) read more

Excellent food and friendly wait staff. First time to Club Capri and it didn't disappoint. Live band which was the right volume and distance from the dinner area. Raspberry lemon drop martini was awesome. I had the lake perch and it was perfectly breaded, lightly and not greasy. Wait was very minimal for our food and it was piping hot. Definitely will be back with friends. read more

Great food great prices. My husband had the filet and it was cooked perfectly. He likes it rare and it was. He had the side of angel hair pasta and a salad. All good. I had the Club Capri pasta. Giant rigatoni with marinara, Italian sausage and meatballs. Fabulous. Not skimpy on the meat with melted cheese and a salad. All yummy. We will definitely e back! Our waitress was not very engaging. She may have been new? But still good service. That's why only4stars food was 5 stars!! read more

Great neon sign captured our attention. Went in on a whim. Filled with happy people in the bar and restaurant. Incredible service ~ friendly, attentive, efficient. Relaxed vibe. Had the Caprese salad and shrimp scampi. My family members are still talking about the cannoli dessert. read more

I absolutely love club Capri! They have super good salads, I get that every time I go haha. It's a very calm atmosphere and it is set up nicely. However, it's sometimes crowded, but you don't normally need to worry about that. read more

Stopped here a few days ago while in the area. Bar was empty when we got there but filled up pretty quickly. The bartender Billy was friendly and kept up with the crowd. Pizza is amazing! Good ranch. Everything on the menu looked good and will be back to try an entree or 2. Italian nacho appetizer was really good, similar to other Italian restaurants with it on their menus. I just wish it was a little hotter, temperature wise. Not sure if it sat in the window for a bit before it got to us or what. Decent place if you're in the area. Large beer and wine selection read more

Capri is an awesome quaint Italian restaurant. Came for the first time by boat, parked easily on the sea wall. You might think there's a dead end in the channel but you have to come up to the turn to see the rest of the way. Excellent pizzas especially their deep dish! Lots of chicken dishes like cacciatore, marsala and parmesan. They also have a nice bar with a good wine selections. We went on a Wednesday and it was half off any bottle of wine. read more

Best pasta and pizza in town. They make all their pasta in back each day and also make their pizza dough fresh daily. I had the Club Pasta Bake. It was perfect, the meatballs and Italian sausage were the best. The serving size was plenty for two to share. My daughter had chicken Alfredo and she said it was the best she's had. Definitely going back. read more

Loved this place!!! We were in a hurray and Liz, our server got us out in record time. Our meals were amazing!!! Totally recommend this Italian restaurant. Thank you Liz!! read more

This is a fantastic local place with great food, a friendly environment, and fair prices. They also have live local music on Friday and Saturday nights! read more

Only had the pizza and salad but enjoyed both. The salad was crisp and tasted very fresh. I had the veggie pizza which included zuchinni, spinach, red onion and portobello mushrooms. It was a delicious combination. The veggies were perfectly cooked and had a still had a slight snap. This was our first time and we will definitely be back. read more

My husband and I have been here a few times, and each time our experience has been great! My husband loves the pizza and I'm a huge fan of their homemade pasta and sauces! The service has always been great as well! The reason I am giving this restaurant 4 stars is for a couple minor complaints. Their minestrone soup is very, very salty. Definitely carries good flavor but after eating it, it's like you can't get enough water. The dining room is very quiet. They don't have any background music playing except for the very low sounds coming from the bar area in a separate room. Not that music is a deal breaker but with 10-20 people in the dining room, you can hear someone conversation from across the room. You basically have to whisper for privacy. I think music makes restaurants more inviting and helps block out other people's conversations. Also, the dining area definitely needs to be updated. I think the decor is outdated and some of the wallpaper is peeling from the walls. If you have never been there before and were to judge a book by its cover, you might be thrown off. But hang tight because the service and food is definitely worth it! You can go to a fancy expensive restaurant and get bad service and food. I will keep going back because the pros will always outweigh the cons to me. read more

This is definitely one of the two best restaurants in the Algonac area. They have good pizza and excellent fried mozzarella. They have some good specials during the week and live music at night. You can go by car or take your boat and enter through the Sassy Marina canal. read more

We arrived early on a Friday evening, around 6:30. There were several seats still open and we sat on the bar side. The waitress was quick to come to take our appetizer and entree order. Unfortunately, that was the only quick part. We waited 45 minutes just for the appetizer, only after inquiring about it. We had to ask for our salad and soup, since several people around us were already getting theirs. The table behind us, who arrived well after we put our order in, was already eating their entrees. At this point it was 8:00 and we had to ask the waitress AGAIN about our food. We decided that over an hour was far too long to wait for our dinner, especially since those who arrived after us were done with their meals. The food we did eat (our appetizer) was very tasty. I would assume they have good food, due to there were people in the restaurant and I wouldn't think people would come back after the type of service they provide. We were extremely disappointed with how we we're treated. No one even tried to make it right, all our waitress had to say was, "sorry honey." If you dare to visit this place, don't come hungry. read more

Food was basic at best. Maybe it was an off night for the cooks but I wasn't thrilled. Bartender was not the most welcoming. Kinda clumsy when serving our food and almost came off rude while we were eating. Might go there again for drinks and a night out but not dining. read more

Food is excellent at a reasonable price! The staff is friendly and there is a massive selection of craft beer.

GO TO CLUB CAPRI! Seriously....this place is excellent, top notch! Pasta is homemade as well is the sauce. Atmosphere is nice with a nice bar as well. I CANNOT believe that I have driven past Club Capri so many times and never stopped. Great cocktail selection and the food is unbelievable. I cannot say enough good things about this place. Cannot wait to come back. read more

We love Capris! Food is excellent. The Caprese Salad, Home made Garlic breadsticks and the Best Minestrone Soup anywhere! Chicken Marsala, Chicken Picatta and Pizza are our favorites too. My husband loves the mussels. Lately they have had Siracchia mussels on special that he did backflips over. My only complaint is they took my favorite item off the menu and that was the chicken battered in egg with the lemon sauce. Bring it back!! Also need to put the Shrimp and Grits on the menu too! They have a good chef back there in the kitchen! read more

definitely love the food here and the people are great too I would have to say if you go there you have to try and artichoke and spinach dip best I've ever had read more
