Best nachos in Chesterfield! Huge and toasted under a some sort of heat source to get the cheese all melty and tortilla chip edges crunchy brown. Then it's topped with hot ground beef, onions, black olives, green pepper, jalapenos with sour cream and salsa on the side. I think there's some refried beans in there too. This lovely creation rests on a sheet of aluminum foil, so you know it's gonna be good. I'm a sucker for good old sloppy bar food and Motor Cafe fires on all cylinders. Love the overly beer-battered chicken fingers, and garlic parm wings. Good hamburgers. Deep fried oreos too. Salads looked HUGE. There's lots of daily specials and a big old 80's Ritz-like bar too. Prices were very reasonable considering the entrenched inflation all over America. Service was great. Very down to earth people. Tip them good. Keep your expectations in check. Inside it's a cavernous warehouse. Seriously, it's huge like echos in the canyon. So big, your crazy kids could swing in the rafters. If your looking for warm and cozy consider Applebees instead. There's a degree of bowling alley seediness, a touch of carnival, and an air of anxious fun. See the fat people in bad t-shirts, smell the bleach-beer, hear the clunk of distant bowling pins. This is such a lovely hidden gem. We usually go out to eat at the same place all the time. I told my husband that I wanted to try something new and this place popped up. I saw a lot of good reviews. I am not going to lie, I was skeptical after I saw the super cheap prices. I absolutely love bar food - mozzarella sticks, loaded fries, and pretzels are my favorite. As soon as you walk in, there is a sign that tells you to seat yourself. We decided to sit in a booth that was very spacious. We saw these doors that lead to a bowling alley, which is super awesome. Our waitress was super nice and gave us time to decide on our order. I wanted to try everything. I decided to go with the mozzarella sticks and fries, so that I could try the fried oreos. My husband ordered the super burrito. The food came out super quick. The mozzarella sticks were pretty good. She even brought out some extra ranch cups for me. The super burrito was massive and came with a massive side of beans and rice. My husband ordered the one with chicken and asked for two sides of sour cream. We were not expecting there to be tons of shredded chicken loaded up inside. He really loved it, and it was so big that he couldn't finish the rest. I was super excited for the deep fried oreos. They were super delicious, but I only have one thing I would change. I would love for it to have a little more ice cream. The scoop was super tiny and there were 5 fried oreos. We tried to go there to watch the NFC championship game and we arrived 3 hrs before game and when we walked in all the tables said reserved and every empty bar seat said reserved as well. The place is huge inside and literally Almost empty when we walked in, what a joke and won't be back. Even though the café is attached to the bowling alley, you wouldn't know that it basically the bowling alley's source for food. The restaurant was clean, proper spacing for COVID, huge television's and a nice large bar. The staff was friendly and our waitress was wonderful. We ordered a large pizza, cheese bread, Diet Pepsi and Angry Orchard. The pizza was pretty good, the sauce had a wonderful flavor not spicy, pepperoni was the old fashioned (hands down the best style), cheese well its cheese. The cheese bread was decent. Came in after bowling with our two toddlers. We ordered the kids chicken and fries, two small pizzas and an order of wings. The waitress brought us side plates for pizza and all three of them were dirty. I mean the bottoms were covered in food and sauce. The kids chicken was beer battered and rubbery. Not sure how many little kids like beer battered food. We asked for the Jamaican jerk SAUCE for our wings on the side. It was not actually a sauce and our wings were served with a side cup of seasoning. The cheese pizza was decent. This is a hidden gem of New Baltimore / Chesterfield area. You can take your family here for a party large or small. And the best part is you don't have buyers remorse like at so many restaurants these days. Staff is great: friendly, out of their way helpful for my family with 2 young kids. Prices are VERY competitive, they're undercutting the competition out there. Yet the food is really really good. You need to come here just for this fact alone. The outside looks a lil sketch, but soon as you walk in, you say "wow" because this place is cool AF with it's ambience. This place simplifies the food menu. I wanted to do a quick update review that I just experienced tonight which I kinda disliked Went in for Taco Tuesday, grabbed the Nacho Platter which is ALWAYS great... But..... They increased the price from $10 - $11 and charge... so that's not totally the problem The issue is less overall came out for a higher price.... First let me say that the service was incredible. The ambience wasn't extraordinary. Is attached to a bowling alley, surprisingly you did not hear any noise. It was very clean and comfortable. There were four golf simulators. It was also a bar in the center fully stocked with alcohol. I am not a drinker so this did not entertain me in any way. I was there for the food. I had red that their Reuben wontons, Pizza wontons, the taco platter, and classical Pizza or outstanding. Now the reason for the two stars. The pizza is the worst Pizza I have ever had. The doe was undercooked and the sauce hit a bitter aftertaste. The pepperoni were very strong and had a strange taste to them. The pizza wontons were very greasy and the cheese inside was not melted. The Reuben wontons had very little meat mostly sauerkraut inside and a little cheese. They were so greasy that I went through a staff and napkins which means the oil was old and not been cleaned recently. The taco platter came with means and a choice of chips and salsa. Now the tacos had fresh vegetables less tomato and cheese. I do have to say the vegetables were very fresh. But the shells himself or chewy and stale in the meat was not good at all I took one bite and that was it. The beans were actually the best part. There was a mother and son sitting behind us they had ordered a pizza and a dessert of some kind. He was about 6 years old and wouldn't even eat the pizza and told his mother it tasted terrible and that he did not like the dessert. How many of you known a 6-year-old to not eat pizza and a dessert. Maybe at one time this place was the place to eat from what I have experienced it is not now. Now the price was very fair $35 for all the food I mentioned and that was including drinks. If you are a drinker and you want to go bowling or play on the golf simulators then this is a place for you. If you want to go to dinner here find someplace else to spend your hard earned money. Service was excruciatingly slow for how few people were there. Of all the tables there was only one with people at it and a maybe 6-10 people total at the bar. The bar tender would stop and randomly talk to people who were obviously friends, instead of tending to people. My drink was empty for 10 minutes and she walked past me multiple times I tried everything except screaming at her to get attention. It was my first empty bottled beer so it wasn't a low key cut off either. This happened again with the check. I had my payment in hand when she sat It on the table and then just walked away to go chat it up. I had my money ready in hand because I wanted to leave. I was on the verge of just putting a $10 bill down on a ~$30 tab and leaving. Never been one to dine and dash but it was ridiculous. I'm not waiting forever to pay when I was trying to make a speedy exit to begin with. She got lucky she saw me stand up and come over. Very lousy, don't recommend. Food was alright. Nothing amazing. Decided to give the motor Cafe a try heard a lot of good things about them and rarely are they true when it's a new restaurant in Chesterfield or New Baltimore. The waitress was very pleasant and helpful the menu was a complete Pub menu. We wanted to try several items so we had ordered the Philly cheesesteak a small chicken pizza the Reuben egg rolls and 6 pieces of the Wings garlic parmesan. Well as you can imagine this is way too much food for two people but all of it was very delicious. The Philly cheesesteak does come with jalapenos which gives it a little bit of a boost in flavor the bun was tender and the steak was also very tasty. The pizza was absolutely delicious I recognized the fermented crust which was light Airy and delicious everything came out prepared with pride the wings are deep fried but the garlic parmesan and the way the wings were prepared nice and tender great appetizer. After seeing Groupon had a offer for Motor cafe. I decided to try it with my my wife. We went it and the place was pretty empty. We sat at a table and immediately a server came to the table. Brought us menus and took the drink order. We ordered the super nachos for a start. The portion size was bigger than most local restaurants around. The problem was the oven that it was cooked in the temperature us a little high. The nachos tasted a little burnt. We had to kill the burnt taste with salsa and sour cream. The server was great with bring us extra at no cost. After we finished the nachos we moved onto the pizza. We ordered BBQ chicken pizza. The chicken was not your average chicken for pizza. It was a beaded chicken breast. It wouldn't be bad if we were eating chicken Alfredo. The pizza Dough was more like corn bread then pizza dough. The pizza was very dry. I had to order extra BBQ sauce just so it wouldn't be so dry. All in all if you are looking for a place to drink and want to sober up. This would be a great place. Called location to order takeout after hearing of the great reviews from Facebook. We ordered the special, large pizza for $10.95 and 10 of the $.75 wings. We picked out our toppings of pepperoni, sausage and ham. We asked for delivery which was free. I see if you order online it's through a third-party and charges you for delivery. Order taker was polite, delivery took an hour but pizza was still warm. We loved the pizza. Not a lot of sauce and the crust was flavorful. We usually order a thin crust but didn't see this as an option so didn't think to ask. I think next time I would order double pepperoni because I love it. We got plain bone in wings and they were like wingding's a little zippy to them with some breading on them. I loved them. Pleasantly surprised by the yummy goodness. What an amazing experience my wife and family had celebrating her birthday today. I was provided a table for the time we needed for 10 and showed up a little early, was greeted by multiple staff members who had our table setup. we needed to add 4 more members of our family and they easily accommodated us quickly. Our service Serina was AMAZING and made us feel so welcomed. She was very helpful and suggested some great appetizers as well as their half off pizza on Thursdays. We placed our orders, drinks came quickly and within 10 mins our pizzas were starting to arrive. The BLT pizza, BBQ Chicken, Ham and Pineapple, and pepperoni pizzas we hot and off the charts. our granddaughters ate 2 pieces which seems impossible. We needed to order another pizza because everyone ate so much. We had chips and salsa was a perfect starter and the Bang Bang Shrimp is something I highly recommend. Mike personally served our pizza and he is such a great guy. Everytime we have visited he has always approached us asking how the food and service was and always went the extra mile to ensure our experience was a good one. Tonight's gathering at Motor Cafe will go down as of our our best family get togethers by far and we plan to continue to frequent Motor City weekly. My husband and I tried this place based on the reviews. We ordered the tacos.... They were nothing special just ground beef tacos, beans and rice were decent. We also got the mozzarella sticks, not sure what kind of cheese was in these but it was not mozzarella. It was mushy and tasteless. We also tried the pizza wontons. Again nothing special, it is literally just pepperoni and cheese in a fried wonton. Not impressed and will not be going back. read more

We're doing a local tour of places we've not tried or haven't visited in awhile. There must be new owners here. The place seems cleaner and decor changed. It's a restaurant, bar... Music venue? I always thought this was part of the bowling alley. We ordered wedge salad, shrimp, burger and dessert. The salad was very good and fresh. The bacon could have been cooked a bit more, but still, Good stuff. The shrimp was suggested by our server. That too was good, as was the burger and fries. Oreos and Ice cream...lol. We liked that too. I think because of easily fixable things this might be a 4 star, but the food was surprisingly good so..I rounded up. One of the things that could be upgraded here is the silverware. It would honestly be a lot better to eat with nice utensils. Lol. Weird? Just me? Ok, Well I still highly recommend trying the food here. Especially if you drive by the place everyday like I do. We'll be coming again.
