It is a cigar bar that serves food (which I did not think was legal in Michigan). We came for the band, good friend plays sax, but over all we liked it. I did not get the cigar smell punch in the face when we entered so that was good. They have a pretty good tap, full bar and our server, whose name I don't recall (beautiful young African-American lady) was spot on perfect. Will be back. read more

Nice cigar lounge. Tables, bar and lounge seating. Small humidors but they have a nice selection. They do also allow outside cigars. Craft cocktails and food available. Live band was loud but nice. Dance floor. Nice atmosphere. We sat at the bar. Served by a gentleman. Everyone was nice but our service was a little slow. We had the Lavender Fields and the SCL smoked old fashioned both drinks were very good. Craft drinks were pricey. Nice date night if you like cigars! Will be back to try food soon. read more

This is our "go to" place most nights. A great, if somewhat smallish, dance floor. Live usic is exceptional most nights. First and Last band (pic below) were our favorite this month. Hope to see them again! Can have slight smokey smell, especially on weekends, as it is a cigar bar. Great drinks and serive. First time at the lounge/cigar bar. I had a drink called The Floosie. Good alcohol content. Tried the Big Kitty Burger, and it was pretty good. I also tried my first cigar; it was a Deadwood Sweet Jane. Nice experience. It was pretty lively, too. Packed house, live bad, and good energy. You can dress up or down. I would recommend reserving a table, though. It was standing room only tonight after, since we got the last table. This is a great spot for a girls' night or after work meet-up spot. Was looking forward to a great night with good food, drinks and music unfortunately, that didn't happen at this place. Upon entering, I felt like we weren't welcome as it took someone 5 minutes to acknowledge us and they barely had any customers. When they finally acknowledged us, I provided my reservation/Eventbrite registration. They said they do not honor these registrations and they are not that high tech. The young woman said find any open seating that did not have a reserved sign and we did only to be told we couldn't sit there and she'd have to find us another seat. That was it for us and my husband and let's go where we're welcome so we walked out. I felt like I was subtly discriminated on and that will not be tolerated. We were out and about on a Sunday night....I guess you could say, we were two cats on the prowl :) We were looking for a spot to land and enjoy a drink. I've been to the Stray Cat Lounge on a few occasions over the years, but this would be my friend's first time. Being a Sunday evening, the lounge wasn't busy. We found a cozy little spot to relax, ordered a few drinks and picked out a flavorful cigar. On Sunday's they have a special on all draft beer and a few food items, too. The flatbread pizza was a $5 and it was delicious. We also ordered the crab dip and I really enjoyed it; to be honest, I enjoy anything with cheese! lol My favorite is the lemon drop martini, but they have an extensive variety of martini options on the menu. Our server's name was Cindy and she was on top of her game! There are multiple tvs to watch sporting events, and during the weekend, they also have live bands and a dance floor. A few things: Be prepared for cigar smoke and the couch areas could really use some new furniture. It's too nice of a space for worn out couches. read more

This was our first time ever visiting this establishment and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. The waitresses Toni and Liz were amazing, very attentive and made sure we were taken care of. Well done on the app. Drinks: The girl and I were feeling casual, so we checked out the $3 mystery beers. I think it was a straight up IPA, and it was delicious. Good choice for a mystery drink. We got them again later that nice. Music: Loved the covers. Good song choices, and a lively atmosphere. We got to dance a little and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Service: We sat at the bar. Bartender was super friendly, and I really have no complaints on the speed of service. Overall, the evening was chill, fun, and we are coming back on of these days. This place had made an excellent first impression. Solid competition to dirty dog jazz cafe? yeah I'm in! As a person who used to frequent dirty dog (but stopped due to limited space and rising prices) I got very excited to see a large hall, great live FREE music, and friendly deals. And then my bubble popped due to generally bad experience: -my table ordered food all at the same time, everything came separately. I waited 1:20h for my appetizer... -my mixed drink (some very bad well stuff) gave me food poisoning. We all ate each others food due to long waiting time and nobody suffered like I did. I was the only one drinking a mixer. -my server couldn't answer simple questions. Now in agreement with many other reviews: wait staff dressed in booty shorts, cat ears and cheetah belly tops is totally killing the mood. We dressed formally expecting an elegant experience, and strip-club "clothed" staff made things awkward. Don't take me wrong, I do like pretty girls as well but when the place and occasion are calling for it. Not a huge deal, but worth bringing into managements consideration. I really want to love and frequent this place, but both food poisoning and over an hour wait for an appetizer are very bad signs. Maybe? perhaps? I may give them a shot in the future?
