Vino & Vibes absolutely lives up to the name. Can I give this place 10 stars?? First off, the food was amazing. Everything tasted super fresh and the menu leans more "snacky" in the best possible way -- perfect little plates that are clearly meant to pair with wine. We ordered a few things for the table and it felt like the kind of place where you just keep ordering one more thing because everything sounds good. Nothing heavy, just really well done bites that let the wine shine. Speaking of wine, the selection is awesome. It's not the usual predictable restaurant list. There are some really interesting bottles and styles on there, which makes it fun if you actually enjoy trying different wines instead of just defaulting to the same thing every time. Service was great too. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and welcoming, and you can tell the owners are really hands-on and working hard to make the place special. My friend and I enjoy trying different spots for wine tasting; this location did not disappoint. This is a wonderful addition to the area. The inside was warm and inviting with different styled table and comfy chairs. I hate having to sit on a hard chair, there were different chairs that either had a nice curve and soft material so sitting on them wasn't so bad. We came on a Wednesday during happy hour. We both ordered a $5.00 glass of the house wine, we liked this wine better than the other more expensive versions. I love flights and did not see a flight option so the server allowed me to order three glasses with half pours at half price. The cab sav. was smooth and excellent. There is plenty of parking behind the building. You can park on the street if you want to parallel park in a small, tight spot...I tried this but the darn cop car right behind me was crowding my efforts, Haha. We went there on a Thursday night for our ladies night out. They have specials on Thursday for this kind of event we were planning, that included specialized menu and drinks and also live music. We all enjoyed it thoroughly and also noticed they have other kinds of specials remaining days of the week which also can be very well enjoyed. Even with live music it didn't get too noisy there, and ambience was very relaxing and classy at the same time while we were dressed up, it didn't feel out of place at all. Thankfully, no wait for a table at that time, though it picked up a bit after thirty minutes or so. All drinks were decent. The Utica sour was good after I got past the red wine. The port old fashioned was great, though I wish there was some kinda warning that there would be a $12 up charge for selecting a specific bourbon. I was asked, it wasn't something I demanded. I just assumed it was part of the $13 drink. So if you order it, just get whatever house bourbon they might offer. Also, we ordered the truffle fries and we never got them. The positive is the food is good and the decor is nice. Our server was efficient but not friendly. I was shocked that this is a wine bar because of my experience. I asked the server to tell me about the Chardonnay. She didn't know what I meant. I asked her about the tasting notes. She didn't know what I meant. I asked her if had lime, green apple, grapefruit, lemon? She didn't know and went and got the bottle for me to look at. Wine bottles don't always describe the tasting notes and this one didn't. So I went to a wine bar and ended up ordering vodka because it was evident she did not know the wines and would be no help in selecting a wine.
