My friend and I enjoy trying different spots for wine tasting; this location did not disappoint. This is a wonderful addition to the area. The inside was warm and inviting with different styled table and comfy chairs. I hate having to sit on a hard chair, there were different chairs that either had a nice curve and soft material so sitting on them wasn't so bad. We came on a Wednesday during happy hour. We both ordered a $5.00 glass of the house wine, we liked this wine better than the other more expensive versions. I love flights and did not see a flight option so the server allowed me to order three glasses with half pours at half price. The cab sav. was smooth and excellent. There is plenty of parking behind the building. You can park on the street if you want to parallel park in a small, tight spot...I tried this but the darn cop car right behind me was crowding my efforts, Haha. Personally I'd like to see a better food menu as nothing really looked all that unique or tasty.

We've been to Vino & Vibes a bunch of times now. Each time we are throughly impressed with our drinks, food, and service. This is the perfect place for anyone. It's not just about the vino! They have delicious coffee & tea & mocktails too. Their cocktails are fantastic! They're very knowledgeable about their wine as well. The food is so good! There have been times w stopped in here for an appetizer and never made it to dinner bc we were full from our delicious apps at V & V's. This place is great for appetizers before dinner, for your actual meals and for dessert! We've tried the cheesecake, grilled cheese, lots of different charcuterie, olives, Spanish anchovies, bread & truffle EVOO, and more. The building is beautiful as well! I highly recommend this place. It's such a great part of downtown Utica. Thank you to Deanna & Anna for welcoming us into their business. I brought a couple friends here yesterday and they agree it's an amazing spot. We love it!

We went there on a Thursday night for our ladies night out. They have specials on Thursday for this kind of event we were planning, that included specialized menu and drinks and also live music. We all enjoyed it thoroughly and also noticed they have other kinds of specials remaining days of the week which also can be very well enjoyed. Even with live music it didn't get too noisy there, and ambience was very relaxing and classy at the same time while we were dressed up, it didn't feel out of place at all. Service was nice as well, and the food menu is also specific with all items and well made.

Americano with REAL cream. Thank you! Local roaster, Dessert Oasis Coffee. Excellent.

Overall, wow. What a treasure to find in charming downtown Utica. Parking - free lots and street partking. Service - hospitable, friendly, efficient, knowledgeable; wait at door to be seated; staff clearly enjoy working there... smiles, engaged, dancing along with music. Atmosphere - cool, open space with intimate vibe; loved they did NOT have sports on their TVs, rather the animal channel and the other TV had comedy-drama movies. Comestibles and potables - excellent presentations, delicious, full bar with interesting craft cocktails, drafts, bottles, and wine (of course); sangria had depth and was juicy; HH 3-6 Tu-Th. Loos - clean, stocked, beautiful decor. Entertainment - happens Th and Sa. Overall, excellent time. We love jazz, and we would just come back to hear the pianist from the jazz duo. They were pros. *thumbs up*

Back for a 2nd try and every bit as good as the first. Tried a different bottle, mix on the board and relaxed and enjoyed the afternoon. Service was on point and enjoyed the chill music.

Friendly staff and a relaxing atmosphere. The wine list is long but not a lot of information. I would have liked a description for each.

Amazing Craft Cocktails!! Perfect place for a Girls Night Out or Date Night with the hubby. When they do have live entertainment or a dj, I love that the music level isn't too high. You can still enjoy your conversations while enjoying the music. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. I can not speak to all the food, but we order the BLK truffle fries. I was REALLY looking forward to them...meh, next time, I'd try a different tasty bite and order another delicious cocktail. I love that they have a Seasonal Sensations menu and am looking forward to trying their new creations in the fall.

The place definitely lives up to its name with amazing cocktail selection, nice background live music ( on a Thursday) and no nonsense food selection and service.

Very cool and modern place. We had lunch across the street at shamrock and decided to stop by here. It's beautiful inside! Thankfully, no wait for a table at that time, though it picked up a bit after thirty minutes or so. All drinks were decent. The Utica sour was good after I got past the red wine. The port old fashioned was great, though I wish there was some kinda warning that there would be a $12 up charge for selecting a specific bourbon. I was asked, it wasn't something I demanded. I just assumed it was part of the $13 drink. So if you order it, just get whatever house bourbon they might offer. Also, we ordered the truffle fries and we never got them. But definitely a place worth checking out.

Iris was friendly and welcoming as usual. We love dining at the bar with her. She has an incredible memory and is full of suggestions about new wines. The staff (and owners) here are fantastic. Love supporting this women owned business. The harvest board is THE best. Vegan and easily modified for gluten free folks. This upscale (yet come-as-you-are vibe) is beautifully decorated and easy to love. My favorite part of downtown Utica!

Cocktails were lovely and unique. Seating was comfortable and the atmosphere was both quaint and open as the room was filled with sunlight but we felt like we had our own corner to enjoy. This is one of those unfortunate instances where I wish I could give a 3.5* rating. Everything was ok, but definitely not great. The place is loud, and way too bright, especially for an intimate experience after 8:30pm or so. We would have loved to stick around for another couple cocktails, if the cocktails and ambience were good, they weren't. The "craft cocktail" ol' fashioned was improperly garnished w/ a whole 1/4 of an orange slice, instead of the peel, it was improperly essenced, and had an improper amount of simple syrup. It was essentially a shot of bourbon with a cherry and an orange peel. Tasted terrible. The drink lacked all of the taste and trappings of the advertised craft "burnt sugar" old fashioned. Additionally, they use a 1/2 of an ice ball, which would not have been offensive, if the rest of the drink was up to par, but as it was, the cocktail seemed cheap and off-putting. 2.0/10 My date ordered a "figgy sweater," a citrusy cocktail with vodka, also off of the "craft cocktails" menu. Her drink had the opposite problem. It tasted like a lemonade with no alcohol at all, or watered down alcohol. She's a fairly lightweight that does not like strong drinks, gets tipsy off of two, and she complained throughout its consumption that the drink seemed weak and not worth ordering another. 2.0/10 We were both interested in another cocktail, but due to the loud nature of the place, the over abundance of light, and the poorly crafted cocktails, we drove to another establishment for our second round. Food ordered: Seafood Chowder - Great job, delicious, ample seafood throughout 9.5/10 Brisket Poutine - Good but it lacked cheese curds and gravy. 7.0/10 Beef tenderloin tips - terrible... the dish came out cold, we ordered the GF option, and the bread substitute was gross. The dish was overly salty, and the beef was way, way over cooked; not even medium well, most of it was well done, and tough; this was $30 wasted, we barely touched it and it's still in the fridge two days later. I'll likely throw it out. 2.0/10 Chicken Fried Lobster - nice dish, I hated the dill, but my date licked it. The dill aside, it was delicious; nice presentation, great tasting waffle, w/ well favored garnishes. However, the dish was barely warm when it came out, the ricotta/cream soaked into the waffle, and it was soggy. If it came out of the kitchen promptly it would have likely been better. 7.0/10 I'd consider ordering the chicken fried waffle again, but bad cocktails will likely keep me away. It's tough to pay $30+ in bad cocktails to accompany a $100+ meal. I'd strongly suggest turning down the lights after 8:30pm or so, and installing some noise canceling/light panels to bring the ceiling height down, quiet the place down some, and make it seem more intimate. The two tables opposite the the kitchen, in the damn hallway to the bathroom, should either be gotten rid of, made into high-tops, or install a lower counter-service along that wall for a "chef's experience." Those tables absolutely suck. We sat at them at our first visit, they tried to sit us there for our 2nd visit, but moved us after our objection. I laughed a bit throughout our meal as the people that were subsequently seated at those tables complained during their meal of the constant bumps, and interruptions that come with the territory. Finally, our waitress did a great job. The food runner was late on a couple of our dishes, resulting in cold food, but the waitress' service seemed great.

Waitress asked if I had any allergies, I said no but my friend joining me soon was gluten free. My friend still had to specifically request the gluten free menu when she got there, after looking at the regular menu & not finding any markings of what food was gluten free. It would have been nice if the waitress had just brought it right away. I had the lunch size Gnocchi Carbonara, which was delicious! I did have the suggested wine pairing, which was very good with my food. And what a great idea to offer some lunch sized portions of some of the dishes (ends at 3pm). My friend had the gluten free grilled mahi mahi sandwich & side of Asian slaw, which she enjoyed. They weren't super busy & we sat quite awhile to chat. Really enjoyed it & will definitely go back. Looking forward to trying some of the other menu items!

But I found it odd that the bar didn't have any chairs. Our server (I think his name was Darren, or something like that?) was very good. He explained about the bin numbers next to the entree descriptions and was just generally kind and helpful. Several people ordered salads, and they looked very good. I had the Parmesan crusted chicken from their Life Balance section. I enjoyed it very much. I don't usually like warm tomatoes, but the ones in this dish were really good. Honestly, I'm surprised that this was a lower calorie dish, as it certainly was plentiful, filling and satisfying.

I'm more of a dry-wine person, and honestly I probably only enjoy about 5% of the menu, but I will say the prices are great and the menu is huge. There's truly something for everyone, just maybe not for the dry crowd. I do appreciate that they offer snacks for purchase and the wine club is actually a great deal. Service: This is where it slipped for me. I've been to other St. Julian locations and had genuinely great experiences, so I know the bar is higher. Here, the service was just ok. The staff didn't seem very engaged and gave off more "going through the motions" than "happy to have you here." It felt like regulars got the warm treatment, while everyone else was kind of an afterthought, which was a bummer. Ambiance: It's always packed, which says something, but the space itself feels cold and a little warehouse-y. I really wish this location had that cozy, homey winery vibe the others do. The energy is busy but not welcoming, and the location doesn't help much either. If I could give one suggestion to the team, it'd be to soften the space and the experience a bit, warmer lighting, more interaction, something that makes people want to linger instead of just drink and leave. I know this place can be great, it just doesn't quite get there yet.
