Well, what a nice staff server but what an incredibly understaffed place. We were lucky we had some time, since the order for four took 35 minutes to receive, and, wait for it...not one, but two orders were totally wrong. And with the replacements to take by estimate of our charming server 10 minutes or more (so I'd need to do a 1.5x multiplier) it just wasn't worth it. And, neither was the food taste, which was fairly bland (at least for the wrong orders of 'hot' wings and chicken sandwich). The BLT was acceptable, however, and the salad was fine. The wait staff were literally running all over the place, and clearly were barely keeping their head above water, which negated getting any after the initial glasses were deposited when we got there. Haven't tried the food, but a bomber of PBR for $2.50 at happy hour is hard to walk away from. Bar staff is friendly and attentive. I had to feel for Dawn when the place was packed due to a hockey tournament next door, and her back up bartenderS (emphasis on plural) decided to come in an hour late. Daily drink specials AND they have shots of Apple Pie EVERY DAY(!!!!!!!!) for only $3! You DEFINITELY get your money's worth on mixed drinks and shots. Super friendly staff, too! Lots of TVs, including a projector screen. Golden Tee, a couple pool tables and an Internet jukebox (although, only two plays for a buck is a bit stingy). Oh, Beer Pong, too, for the college kids. They also have a banquet room you can reserve for parties, etc. The downside? Located in the parking lot of both Fraser Hockeyland and Total Sports Soccer Complex, you would think it would be the place to be. It's not! The location is always seriously under staffed. IT is common practice to order drinks before your game in hopes they may be there after. The waitstaff they do have are super inattentive. Had to attend an event at Fraser Hockey Land, which by the way has the worst parking ever. So decided to come to this place so we would not have to move the car. The service is atrocious. Why would they have two people behind the bar and only one person handling the dining room when the place is packed. From the time we sat down and received our food it was an hour plus. And, we ordered burgers, philly cheese steak, pretzels, and wings, nothing too fancy. 30 minutes after our order the waitress comes by to tell us there is no steak for the philly cheese steak and asks if we can change to a philly cheese chicken. Here is a short list of our experience: Beer is cheap, but somehow still takes nearly 5 minutes to pour draft beer in red solo cups. Waitress was dismissive and could really care less about being attentive to our table (again, we are half of their customer base!) Asked to put the Detroit baseball game on 1 tv. Never done. Food finally ordered, everything came out staggered from 15-25 minutes later. We aren't talking gourmet here... burgers not cooked to order, a club sandwich that takes 25 minutes. Condiment requests were forgotten. Half of our table was given an order that belonged to someone else. Boyfriend ordered a short beer and she brought a tall, so her listening skills aren't very good. 45 minutes into waiting the people next to us left without ever getting their food. I play in a kickball league at the Lions Club next door, so this is a weekly hangout for me during the spring and summer. Drink specials are decent (for Thursdays, anyway). Food is pretty good, as well - pretty standard bar fare. Last year the service was extremely slow, but the past few times I've gone this year, I've seen a MASSIVE improvement. If you're looking for a fleet of waitresses to re-fill your mug as you drink, then you're in the wrong place. If you're looking for gourmet food topped with caviar and champagne, you're in the wrong place. If you're looking for a bathroom floor clean enough to eat off of, you're in the wrong place. WORST SERVICE I'VE EVER HAD, ANYWHERE! Every year we have to go to Fraser, Mi for a skating tournament. If you've been to the Fraser ice rink, you know parking is horrible on the weekends of tournaments so Shooters is conveniently located as you can walk there and not leave your parking space. Two years in a row, horrible experiences at Shooters. It is worth leaving your parking space to eat somewhere else! We weren't greeted for 5 minutes (having to sit at a dirty table no less, cause none were clean), and once we got menus, no one came to take our order after 10 minutes. I had to go to the bar and order!!! Never got to eat because after 50 minutes our food still wasn't out! Never even got salads first. Manager was standing around, never came to talk to us. I understand if your kitchen is backed up due to a large party, but let your costumers know it'll be an hour on food!!! Servers standing around behind bar on cell phones and taking smoking breaks, while one server is running food for a huge party! Another server telling a co-worker in front of customers she's been sick for days, gross, Go home! I Tried talking to the manager to tell him we were leaving and he ran back to the kitchen without saying a word, assuming to check on our food, which we did not want at that point! This experience was aweful. They had beer pong in back by covering up a pool table table (real classy red solo cups). It took about an hour for our food to come and it was terrible. Not a single one of us finished our meal. I would bet they have an easy bake oven in back. Also the service was not good. I can't believe we stayed. We sat with empty glasses in front of us for 20 minutes and didn't get silverware until we asked. I've been eating here for the past year off and on because its close with great food and prices. However I always know to expect pretty terrible service and spending at least an hour waiting for food and drinks. Half the time I walk in I usually have to flag a waitress down or am waiting at least five minutes for a menu, which I find pretty ridiculous. This past (and officially last) experience I had there lasted over an hour, for a sandwich and fries, the only order. Waited a half hour for my food, watching only one other order arrive for another customer while I waited, which was brought out by the cook, who started swearing loudly and quit in front of everyone then proceeded to order drinks for himself. When my food finally came out it was completely wrong to top off my ever so wonderful experience. Needless to say, extremely disappointed and never coming back. Green Lantern is just as good with excellent service and right around the corner. Ive never written a bad review before but I have never had worse service anywhere else. read more
