The food and cocktails were excellent, and it's clear the restaurant is striving to create an elevated dining experience. One thing that stood out was how thoughtful and inventive the menu felt. You can tell the chef has put a lot of creativity and care into the dishes, balancing familiar favorites with unique twists. It's definitely a cool and welcome addition to the Moorpark dining scene. We particularly enjoyed the Tropical Bird, Emma's Punch, Lemon Drop, and Mango Margarita Mocktail. The Crispy Calamari Strips were a great starter. For entrees, we enjoyed the Lamb Ragu, Parmesan Chicken Milanese, and Wild Mushroom Risotto with added chicken. All were all flavorful, beautifully prepared, and well-executed. The servings were huge (awesome!) and we had leftovers to enjoy the following day. The reason for the 4-star rating comes down to service details. While waiting to be acknowledged, we were overlooked by the hostess for other guests entering even though we were standing right in front of the host stand. Not a big deal, but didn't love the eye roll the hostess gave when I politely piped up that we had been waiting. Was not a great first impression. While our server was wonderful and friendly, there were several moments where empty plates and glasses accumulated on our table for an extended period of time. Our entrees arrived while many of our appetizer dishes and drink glasses were still sitting on the table. With several staff members circulating throughout the dining room, it felt like an opportunity was missed to provide the attentive table maintenance you'd expect from a restaurant aspiring to a fine dining level of service. These were relatively minor issues and seem more related to training and coordination than a lack of effort. The food, drinks, and atmosphere were all very good, and with a little more polish from the support staff and greeters, I think M on High Street could truly become the upscale dining experience it's aiming to be. We'd definitely return and look forward to seeing it continue to grow.

We had heard from others that the food was good as well as a beautiful location being as it's on a golf course. A local duo was setting up for music outside which made the Al Fresco even better, we chose to order drinks and food of of the happy hour menu as well as the regular menu. Drinks were fabulous and loved the happy hour prices, they were short staffed that evening but we didn't mind because our server covered the entire exterior on her own and the the music made the evening more delightful. Once our food came out all the dishes were tasty and plenty. We enjoyed every bit of The Ranch and we will be returning again very soon. Well done The Ranch we now have a favorite summer spot..... We sat outside, which was nice, since it gave us a view of the hills and golf course. They had the fans on so it was nice. The place was pretty empty so we were surprised when our food took forever to come out. Once it did, my chicken sandwich was pretty bland. My friend said her BBQ salad looked like cans of beans and corn were just thrown on top and they didn't chop up the lettuce, leaving her with huge inedible chunks. To top it off the amount of dressing they gave her wasn't even enough to cover the salad. Another friend had the steak salad and the steak was so tough she needed a saw to cut through the pieces. Suffice to say the prices were not worth the quality of food. 3 for ambience and friendly waitress only. Will not be coming back.

Great atmosphere and decor, our server was very friendly and helpful and checked on us even after our food was served. Let's s talk about the food, very good for a Pub scene, food was plenty and came out hot. The fish and chips (what I ordered) were very good, crunchy outside and fish was fresh and cooked to perfection. Not greasy at all. All our entrees had the option of skinny fries or fat fries. The French Dip had plenty of moist beef in it with a great Au Jus, burger was cooked to perfection and the smashed chicken sandwich was amazing. Plenty of choices of beer featuring local breweries as well as the standard go to's. We got there before the dinner crowd got there and it filled in fast. Great menu with lots of choices and they also serve a breakfast menu on the weekends. Glad we came in and was a very pleasant experience. Bravissimo Lucky Fool's, you gained a new customer. I think everyone in Westlake and surrounding areas should know about this great menu offering from Red O. They should really be advertising this more! I had a group of friends over for dinner on a Tuesday, and I thought a Taco Tuesday theme would be perfect! Since I love the authentic and clean ingredient food at Red O, I searched their website to see if they offered a to go taco bar. I was pleased to find they offered it, and trusted that it would be good. I was beyond impressed with it, and my dinner guests raved about it! Everything came in easy to serve containers, as well as easy to heat up and keep warm if needed. I bought two party packs at $55 each, for 8 guests, and I think this could have been enough for even 16 guests or more!! I ordered one chicken pack, and one veggies, I got both the vegan beans and the refried beans, and one Mexican rice, and one white rice. I also got a set of flour tortillas as well as corn tortillas. It came with amazing and fresh salsa, and I purchased an add on of chips and salsas, for $10, as well as the plantains for $10. The plantains came in small pieces that were perfect for sharing as well as with a delicious dipping sauce. For the chips, I got 1/2 plantain chips, and 1/2 regular chips. The plantain chips were especially a hit with the guests! Everything was so delicious and fresh!! Such generous portions!! I will definitely be ordering this again!! Next time I also might try their enchilada to go party pack.

The menu has some interesting options, the food came out quickly, and the service was very good. Quick take: Get the Chilean Sea Bass special if it is available, the homemade pastas, and the Prosciutto Rucola e Grana Pizza. Skip the meatballs. Know that nearly all the pasta is made in-house, while the spaghetti and penne are imported from Italy (if I'm remembering correctly) The Chilean Sea Bass special was the standout and absolutely worth ordering when offered. Since specials change, I would ask about it before getting too attached, but this would be my first choice. Everyone I was with agreed it was standout and wished they ordered it. The pastas are another strength. I do not like cream, and the server told me they could remove those ingredients, which gave me considerably more flexibility with the menu. It is also worth knowing that the spaghetti and penne are the one exception to the house-made pasta because they are shipped in from Italy. The cocktails were creative and interesting, although almost too sweet for me. Service was friendly and efficient. The only real drawback is that the dining room feels cramped, so this is not the place to go if you need a lot of personal space. Overall, Nonna delivers interesting Italian food, excellent homemade pasta and good service.

We were initially seated outside next to a family with two young kids who were pretty loud. Totally understandable (we have kids too), but we were hoping for a more relaxed, cozy night. Our waitress was great from the start. After ordering the fritto misto calamari (which was good), we asked if we could move inside since it was pretty hot out. I do wish we had been seated inside from the beginning, especially for a birthday dinner. Once inside, the experience completely changed for the better, much more intimate and exactly what we were looking for. We also got a red wine from the Pursued by Bear line (don't remember the exact one, but it had a bold bear on the label) -- smooth, full-bodied, and went really well with the pasta. I got the cacio e pepe and my wife ordered the strozzapreti. Hers was definitely the standout -- the pasta was soft and the red sauce had a lot more flavor than I expected, especially since I don't usually go for red sauce. My cacio e pepe was still good, just a bit simpler. For dessert, we had the vanilla panna cotta and Nonna's cake -- both solid and a nice way to end the night. Overall, a really good experience. The service and indoor ambiance definitely made the night.

She said yes. I then said you can still seat us and we can have a cocktail while we wait. This kid had absolutely zero business being a hostess on an overly crowded day. And what kitchen doesn't prepare for a day like Mother's Day..but that's a them problem. The restaurant's decor really doesn't match the pricing. It's got more of a bar vibe than having $16 cocktails, $23+ starters and $30 entrees. The seats were shabby and worn, and the tables just looked utilitarian. Our server made up for it...was on top of ordering and very efficient. Can't remember her name but dark hair, cute with a septum piercing. She was calm and took a few extra measures to ensure our visit was nice. It was actually my sister's birthday and we had just lost our mother. Neon lights, cute signage, and overall they just did a really great job with the design and execution. There's a lot going on but it doesn't feel cheap. Ambiance is definitely A+. For dinner on a weeknight we found this spot wasn't too busy but we also came after happy hour. It was a relaxed vibe. Service was overall pretty good. I felt like all of the gals working were very very sweet and nice. Also, anytime we stopped them to ask for refills and such we got what we asked for. That's my only upgrade as since it wasn't super busy, it would have been nice for the staff to catch the refills on water or salsa on their own/more proactively but hey, it was again a relaxed lowkey night and the staff couldn't have been lovelier. I'm just curious how the service would be if they were super busy? Now on to the food and drinks. The menu was very impressive! Solid cocktail and drinks menu. I'm bummed I didn't get a cocktail but my party doesn't drink so it was more fun to get an agua Fresca with them. The guava one was good and served nicely chilled. However, next time I'll definitely get a cocktail because their drinks looked fun and beautiful. The food was definitely the standout for me. I ordered the cheese enchiladas Suizas and they were a 10/10. Not comparable to most enchiladas I've had but the sauce was fantastic and unique. I really loved these enchiladas and I'd honestly get them again. Solid flavor in the rice and beans as well. My friends also enjoyed their meal and it seemed like everyone was happy. The pricing is a little steep for Mexican food but also the ambiance and presentation make sense to me why it'd be a little more. For the three of us the bill was over $100. And that's for three mains and three non-alcoholic drinks. Normally at $33-ish a person I'd hope for at least a beer with my enchiladas, so keep that in mind. As a special occasion place or a spot to celebrate this spot is truly fantastic. I honestly loved my meal so much that even with the price point I'd rush back and bring more friends because this spot is vibey. Nice staff and a cute spot to diner, 5 stars in my books given the quality, taste of the food and the overall experience.

Some of the meats were a little dry. I wish they had a little more flavor to them. They gave me two different salsas to add and that helped.
