The lady who did my nails was amazing and so kind. Unfortunately, when I was in LA for those few days, I noticed the gels started to lift and some fell off from my nails. If you need to get extensions in order to grow your nails longer under the Japanese gel, the first appointment will be pricier than the rest, but if you take care of them and use the nail oils (either your own or the one that Christy was so nice to give me) each appointment will be less than the first, given the range of designs chosen. The salon itself is a bit tricky to find if you're unfamiliar-- it is inside the 99 area mall, to the left of 99 if you enter from the front. It's its own storefront and is pretty quiet and calm inside. First appointment after tip was close to 300. After I've had a range of 130-200 after tip depending on design. I've tried other salons for less that provide acrylic or gel tips that have good reviews and techs but I've always had a nail break or my natural nails would suffer. I've been coming for a few months and my nails are healthier longer and I get compliments always. :)

The nail polish was applied far from the nail bed but was done well enough for me to return. On my second visit, the first nail tech was very nice and detailed oriented. The second nail tech who came over to air brush my nails and add chrome lettering was very unprofessional. She made various jokes about my hands, my nails, and my nail design, while the first nail tech just stood and giggled. I was also charged more than the first visit even tho the design was simpler. Usually I love to tip well but I only tipped $7 which would've been $5 but the first nail tech returned to being nice. But the tip was not deserved at all. I don't think I'll be returning.
