I came to this salon twice. The first time was a good enough experience to come back even though the price was high compared to other nail shops who work faster. The nail polish was applied far from the nail bed but was done well enough for me to return. On my second visit, the first nail tech was very nice and detailed oriented. The second nail tech who came over to air brush my nails and add chrome lettering was very unprofessional. She made various jokes about my hands, my nails, and my nail design, while the first nail tech just stood and giggled. I was also charged more than the first visit even tho the design was simpler. Usually I love to tip well but I only tipped $7 which would've been $5 but the first nail tech returned to being nice. But the tip was not deserved at all. I don't think I'll be returning. read more

I've been coming here for 1+ years and I usually ignore the fact that they are sometimes behind but their work made up for it since I don't like changing salons I got used to the fact that a pedicure + fills would take HALF a day sometimes, expect to spend 3+ hours here. I'll schedule an appointment and I'll still end up waiting 45+ mins sometimes a whole hour because they take walk ins and seem to ignore their appointments. I spoke up this time because the time prior, I waited an hour and it isn't fair that Tracy doesn't give the courtesy to let me know ahead of time to adjust my appointment. She only did that once but can't understand why she lacks courtesy. I even asked for a partial refund so I can go elsewhere and put on a nail she told me to come back for (I already paid) she got up and sat back down then after an hour of waiting she finally started. After finishing she went out after me and apologized. Acknowledged me having to wait super long both times and said she doesn't know why this always happens to me which is quite ridiculous. Then she proceeded to tell me that next time that she can't do an appointment for me anymore, and I can just walk in because she doesn't know why it always happens to me. There is not a sign or clear indication of cost of service as with most places. The pricing range appears to be much more than other nail salons in the area. I paid $65 for dip powder nails before tax and tip. The price ranges between nail salons usually average $35-$45 with some salons at $50-55, I rarely see anything $25 or $65. At the checkout, the gal working on my nails asked the other lady what the cost was in Vietnamese. She said $55 in Vietnamese. The gal working on my hands decided to charge me $65 and stated that to the other lady. I speak and understand Vietnamese, with mild reading ability. Comments were made about a full set I was getting removed, stating that it looked like I got them from Temu, as another salon did them when I was out of state and they were press ons. I was last minute trying to find a nail salon that was closer to where I live and finding a good enough of a place to get my nails done before I went out of town. While searching around, I stumbled upon this nail salon! I gave them a call to inquire for the estimated cost for a full acrylic set and try to fit myself in. I'm unsure of her name, but the woman who answered was very kind and very assuring. So, I stopped by right after the phone call and decided to just do a clean up manicure instead because I didn't want to be the customer that keeps them past closing. The lady that did my manicure was very gentle, delicate, and very precise and thorough! (Unfortunately didn't get her name either :-() What really made me decide to book an appointment for the full set was how great of a time I had to chat with her in our language while getting my manicure! I booked my appt on a Friday 5:30pm. I got there and there was no wait at all! My full set was pretty simple and made me feel great to have nails again. My set costed $85 and I tipped my nail tech and also tipped another tech for doing a flame design for me. I'm sad to say that I felt a bit dissatisfied with them as soon as I walked out that door... I did wish that my nails were more cleaned up underneath, and that the acrylic thickness was more even/the same. Excuse my chronically dry hands in my photos! I'm not upset or angry at all though, because they still treated me with royalty and kindness even though my set had my nail tech that day stay 30min past closing, which I feel terrible for. The owner, Helen, is professional, and demonstrates exquisite customer service. Additionally, the interior of the establishment is so cute-- living for it. Poor quality poor service! Now, this was such a horrible nail experience. We got to the shop early around 10:15 am. They had only a couple people finish up with pedi but it wasn't busy at all. I've gotten two fills and two pedicures and brows; this place does not disappoint. My nails are on point! Zero lift, my gel polish on nails and toes does not lift, crack, or fade. Each time I ask them to get my heels really good and they have taken extra time to do so. They do a great job at shaping my nails and toe nails as well and my nails are even and shaped to the curve of my nail bed and my nails are not thick and bulky their perfectly thin as natural as acrylics can be without compromising the acrylics. It's not cheap work, the quality is good and worth the money. I also tip $20 every time ($10 tip for nails and $10 tip for my pedi) - out the door I pay $120. Self care is an investment. Note: I see bad reviews on fills where there's lifting; if you've had your original set done elsewhere, that's probably why. I moved here from California, walked into this Nail Salon there was exactly 7 people in there. 4-getting nails done and 1 person getting a pedicure 1-person waiting and me. They asked me what I was wanting to get done, I said a full-set & pedicure. She said ok it's going to be a 1-hour wait. I said that's ok I will wait. I arrived at 12:30PM & yes it's Mothers Day Weekend so it's expected to have been busy. All of a sudden groups of 3-people started coming in, and they were seated before me at the pedicure seats, then after their pedicure they sat down and got their nails done. I didn't get put into a pedicure seat until 1:57PM. I sat in that seat for another 30-minutes as more people walked in and sat right down to get treated with service. I ended up getting done with my pedicure and manicure at 4:30, paying a price of $120! Yes price gouging like nobody's business. I chose the $30 pedicure and got charged $75 because I asked for gel, I got dipping powder for my nails and got charged $45.00 for that. Never have I ever paid this much for nails and a pedicure in California and went to Tacoma on Easter and didn't get charged this much for better service. I live in Kent that's why I chose this place, I am just besides myself. They all ask this one lady what the prices are to be charged to customers! Do not go to this place, it looks nice but they will charge each person differently! Never again! I'm all about great Customer service but not when prices aren't listed anywhere in the business!
