I will say that as someone who doesn't get their nails consistently done, I don't think they've ever done me wrong. Always make sure to call and get an appointment ahead of time so you don't wait but for the couple of times I didn't call I would say I waited less than 20 min. Never had any preference on the ladies since I know they can all do what I ask for! The vibe of the place is always clean and polish so I do love that! My only problem was that sometimes some of the ladies can be a little rough and your left with a few "rings of fire" so make sure to ask be gentle from time to time. read more

The man who did my pedi was great. He was thorough and checked in with me to make sure everything was to my liking. I injured my toenail and it recently fell off. He did a good job cleaning around the area and made sure any broken nail was removed so it wouldn't snag. The woman who did my manicure didn't do a very good job. I had to come back immediately after leaving the salon because I noticed so many unpainted areas of my nails. She redid them but it looked uneven and clumpy. Several nails chipped after 2 days. I came back today to have the chipped nails fixed because I have a wedding tomorrow. Kelly redid ALL my nails, not just the chipped ones, and did them so much better. I'm really happy with the job she did: she got the sides of my nails, covered it evenly, and did an even top coat. I'd come back to Kelly! read more

I had the deluxe pedicure. The beginning of it was great. Good soak, good scrub, excellent leg massage, paraffin, moisturizer, etc. She did an excellent job of cleaning out the crevices of my nails. I was impressed. I wish I could say the same for the actual paint job. My tech insisted on painting my nails with my shoes on. Her glove slid off my flip flop early on though, and she spilled my personal polish I had brought from home on my shoe and the floor. Then she lost the bottle brush. It took a moment to find it in her drawer, in a bed of loose cotton. She just did a quick wipe off and kept painting. I've found cotton fibers in the bottle afterward when I got home. My brand new bottle is now ruined. I also have stains and specks on my flip flops that I'm unsure how to remove without acetone and possibly ruining those as well. The rest of the pedicure was bad. She didn't file/shape my nails. Far left pinkie corner was left pointy. She rushed through three coats, which just left gobs of too thick polish that took several hours at home to dry. Polish application was uneven on right big toe, she painted over the cuticles on the left and left a smear of polish on the front edge of my left middle toe from when she dropped the brush. You can see how poor she did the left ring finger toe upon zooming in. The top coat was not a quality product. I paid $60 for this pedicure. I will not be returning. read more

This happened a couple weeks ago and I'm still thinking about it so I felt I needed to make a review. The day I got my nails done I was on a schedule so I had called around a few places to see if they had any availability for a walk in gel manicure. When I called the Lotus Nails Spa and asked if there was a wait time for a walk in gel manicure she told me no and to come in now. When I came in they told me to sit down and wait. From the minute I walked in to the moment someone finally took me back to work on my nails it had been 47 minutes. I saw one girl who had came in after me for a walk in and she was seated immediately for a full set of acrylics! When they finally did my nails they did actually great and I was super happy with them. The chipping began 2 days later. Half of my pointer finger gel chipped off just from me opening a case of creamer. I came in the same day to have them fix it for me and they took me in immediately and fixed it. They did seem really irritated though that they had to do that for me. That did not resolve the issue as the nails continued to chip more over the next few days. I've had gel polish on my nails before that lasted for months, so this is crazy! read more

What I've found about lotus is that I literally can do a walk-in, take any tech that's available and my nails always turnout perfect. * This is the place where you can take a dramatic Pinterest photo of nails that you want and get exactly what's pictured from the design, color, shape etc. They also have walls of colors to choose from. (Shellac, powder, polish etc) * They have a great discount program too. Just check-in with a phone number and they keep track of the incentives for you. * I would also like to note the esthetic of this salon, because to me when investing as much as I do on nails and toes it matters a lot to me as I'm sure it does to others. This nail salon is basically double the size of any regular nail salon with double the amount of manicure and pedicure stations with double amount of staff compared to others. Meaning you aren't waiting long for service and you aren't cramped in the salon. I WILL NEVER COME TO THIS RACIST NAIL SALON AGAIN. I have been coming to this salon for years, every month. Today, I came in for a color change on my toes which ended up taking TWO HOURS. I initially told the lady I wanted a baby pink french tip on my hands and feet. The lady spent about an hour just shaping my toes, having to redo my french tip over and over, finally getting the manager to fix it since she couldn't get it right. I forgot that I wanted pink at this point because of how long it took, so I was fine with the white. I still wanted to get a full set on my hands, so as the lady got started and asked what I wanted, I told her about the pink french tip and remembered that I wanted my toes that color originally. The lady apologized for my toes taking so long, and I told her about what I wanted originally, but I said it was fine since it was already done and took so long. The manager overheard this conversation and came over to ask me if I had a question about my experience, and I explained what happened, again, telling her it was fine and I just wanted to finish my hands. She proceeded to SCREAM IN MY FACE about how it was my fault that my toes took so long since I kept "complaining about the color" when I never mentioned that the white was wrong until I was finished. I stayed calm and told her that I was fine with my toes, just sharing my experience. She then told me that I would not be able to get my hands done until I PAYED FOR MY TOES FIRST.. I told her that I have never seen that happen and that I am a regular customer, and she told me that it doesn't matter. I didn't understand how me doing my nails would mean that I didn't want to pay for my toes. I explained all of this and she continued to yell in my face in front of the busy shop and other nails techs, trying to embarrass me. I came here on Eid, so I was in a nice dress, my hair and lashes were done - I did not look like the type of customer to steal a service. I feel like me being a Black woman caused her to antagonize me and presume I was a thief. The manager tried to get me out of my character but instead I got up, paid for my toes, and left. I ended up sitting for 20 minutes before asking a lady how long the wait was going to be, and then she apologized and then another lady immediately started working on my nails. They explained that they thought I was waiting for a friend or walking in with someone else (I did run into a friend and chatted for a bit when I entered the salon, I'm also a male) so I can understand the confusion. My sister wanted to take me to get my nails done for Mother's Day and this is where she took me since this is one of her usual spots! I was a little skeptical because it doesn't look like much on the outside but once you walk in, it's actually very nice and spacious, also one of the nail salons I've been to where they look fully staffed, like 10+ people working! We had an appointment at 2:30 and were seated fairly quickly, i for sure thought we'd still have to wait because that's what I'm used too, but nope! Now, because I work in healthcare and usually have a bad habit of peeling my nail polish off within a week or two anyway, I'm a natural nail, regular polish girly. I feel like this makes it hard for me to find a few places I like (other than the salon I already go to) because it's hard to cover up or hide any mistakes (streaks, bubbling, etc). Unfortunately, even with how fast service was, won't be making it into my rotation of salons. The tech was very sweet, and gentle with my nails/cuticles but the paint job.. not good, she started too high up from my cuticles that my nails just look like they've grown out and need them re done.. which is not the look I'm personally going for with a fresh manicure.. there was also some bubbling on my thumb nail that I asked her to fix, but didn't do much with, there's nail polish around my nail bed she didn't clean up, it just looks uneven, and I can't help but stare at them and wish I had the skills to do them myself. I also don't know what kind of top coat they use but some nails look shiny and some look dull.. as well as already having imprints on them, I'm assuming from my nails not being completely dry.. I will say, they have a great variety of regular polish to choose from (far better than my regular salon) the place is nice and clean, techs are sweet and my sisters nails look great! My friend asked what they would charge for a full set of french tips, and was quoted $75. However, I also got a full set of french tips but I was only charged $60. Prices here vary and are very inconsistent. I was not happy with my overall salon experience but I did walk out satisfied with how my nails turned out.
