Iced coffee with a lil Oatmilk
    Robert R.

I had a nice afternoon off in Sacramento and needed a quiet place to relax my afternoon "suds " pit stop at the Barn. I had seen this place and needed a quick Caffeine boost. I slid in and ordered an iced Latte from the Barista/ Bartender. It had a quite few people Eating and drinking there on an early Friday afternoon. The Wine-bar seemed inviting and very cozy. I only stuck with the Coffee but the pastries looked good. Definitely will come back and the food options next time I'm in West Sacramento l.

Stopped by one Saturday afternoon for a mother and daughter impromptu date brunch before my baby shower in West Sac. Loved treating my mom to a new experience! She ordered the Quiche Lorraine and raves about it daily. She also ordered an ice tea with cherry limeade that was so refreshing. I opted for the butter lettuce salad with a creamy dill sauce, and it was literally the perfect salad. Cute little spot with friendly staff. Can't wait to bring my mom back!

Franquette was a nice surprise for brunch on our Saturday morning! While on our way to a different restaurant, we were hit by marathon runner traffic and decided to go the other way which took us to Franquette. Franquette is located in West Sacramento near the Sutter Health Park and across from Drake's Brewery. Parking is on the street so that might be an issue depending on how busy the surrounding area is. The inside is on the small side, but there is counter seating as well as patio seating. Interior was nice and modern, but still felt inviting. Bathrooms were also very clean! We ordered the Blueberry Crumble Croissant, Croque Madame, Salmon Tartine and French Toast. I also ordered a Butterscotch Cold Brew from their seasonal menu. Everything was fantastic - truly took all of us by surprise! While everything was great, we really loved the Croque Madame - it was perfectly cooked and seasoned! The coffee was strong and not too sweet - just the way I like it! I almost ordered another one so I could take it for the drive home! Staff were friendly and hustling with the long line that never seemed to end. Overall, I cannot say enough good things about Franquette other than I'm kicking myself for not visiting sooner! We will absolutely be back very soon! Check them out!

This was a great quaint French bistro. We came for brunch and it was delicious. I had the quiche and salad and my daughter had the Ratatouille with a poached egg and French baguette with butter! We watched them make fresh crust and crossiants. Service was great. I will definitely be back.

Growing area of West Sacramento in the Bridge District quite near the River Cats Stadium is a French inspired wine bar and restaurant. Small in statue but large on service and flavor. Inside or outside seating water bowl for your pup. We chose spinach and frisée salad (pork belly included) and a cheese square on focaccia (pizza slice) oh so good. Nice wine selection and serve yourself water. Excellent choice for a Saturday brunch or a weekday after work gathering or solo meal. Enjoy!

Came here for breakfast/brunch with a friend and I am so glad she suggested we come here. She had been here before and was raving about it, and provided great menu recommendations. Franquette is bright and beautiful on the inside, has table/booth and bar seating inside and outdoor table seating. They have various food options including quiche, ratatouille, baked goods, pastries, coffee, tea, and alcoholic beverages like wine and beer. I ordered their seasonal butterscotch latte and quiche Lorraine. My friend got the butterscotch cold brew and baked ratatouille. Both of our meals were absolutely delicious! My quiche was perfectly baked, savory, with a delicious crust. My latte was the right amount of sweetness. My friend also enjoyed her drink and meal. I will definitely be back to try other times, I don't think there's anything you could get that wouldn't be good.

Great spot to start your day with coffee, or come and unwind with a glass of wine. The ambiance is very warm and relaxed. I didn't get her name, but the staff member was absolute nicest. We enjoyed a bottle of red wine and some light bites. There is also a nice seating area on the patio for when the weather is nice.

On a weekend morning, Franquette in West Sac was extremely busy and seating was scarce. It seemed to be all paid street parking around from what I could tell. I ordered the following: Seasonal Galette, Quiche Lorainne, Walnut Croissant, and a Latte. I thought all the food items I tried were just good to average...I've for sure had better at other bakeries, which was disappointing since I came in with high hopes. I requested two of the items as to-go the counter where I ordered, but the items were brought to my table on a plate and I had remind them. (No big deal.) Service was nice overall. You pick up your drink at the counter, but they'll bring out any food items to your table. There's an area by the trash on the inside to clear your dishes. I'd return for a coffee and the relaxing setting, but not in a hurry to do so.

Can't believe we haven't been here sooner! What a cute little coffee shop and even more impressive food and drinks. This place wasn't really on my radar because it seemed like more of a wine bar. We decided to check out their coffee/breakfast in the morning and it did not disappoint! They are a little bit hidden in a residential building in West Sacramento. Great lighting in the morning and outdoor seating for when the weather gets warmer. They are right across from a dog park so we saw lots of pups outside and people walking in and around the neighborhood. The toasted pecan latte had the prettiest latte art. The tiramisu latte was my personal favorite, I finished it up so quickly! The Greek yogurt cold foam was the perfect addition to this drink. I thought it would be too tart but the generous amount of cocoa dusting was a nice balance to that tartness. Highly recommend checking out their food menu also, we loved the seasonal potato kale galette and the french onion soup! The galette pastry itself was super flaky and fresh. I loved the creamy potato and kale mixture inside. The french onion soup was so hearty and a very generous portion - perfect for two to share with another dish! It even has braised beef inside - all french onion soups should come with braised beef from now on! It was so comforting in the cold weather. You can tell they really care about the quality of their food and drink here, even down to the silverware. Great service and I can't wait to come back for the next seasonal menu!

A divine French dive, us Indiana guys dropped in after not seeing working for another brunch spot we had decided on. What a win to end up here with exquisite quiche and croque monsieur breakfast entrees both making the salad and French toast dull and drastically underwhelming by compare. I haven't had texture and rich wake up flavors from a simple quiche before. Was about to ask my friend how his croque monsieur tasted but it disappeared before I had the chance, answered the question for me! This is a neat corner cafe in what looks an emerging side of Sacramento, some street parking, outdoor seating, and tidy industrial chic indoor atmosphere complete with easy going staff.

Sunday, 1/25/2026 - @ Franquette in West Sacramento, CA. Very small inside. Across the street from Drake's: The Barn. Pros 1) cute, small, quiet, intimate. 2) clean tables. 3) server very friendly. 4) foods good. 5) you can order drinks and a few items to eat. Had the Croque Madame and that was good. But bread was pretty thick. 6) there is outdoor seating. But it was too cold to sit outside this day. Cons: 1) not much seating inside. 2) parking is hard. Street parking. $2.00 per hour. 3) Conclusion Cute place. Not much option for food order. But enough. A few drinks. It's clean. Quiet. Nice staff.

Such a cute cafe. It was very quiet on a Friday morning. Americano was delicious. My friend enjoyed her tasty oatmeal, although she didn't like that it was cold. Seating is very cute and comfortable. I must come back to try more items. There also seems to be a lot of regulars from the neighborhood. It feels homie! Also very clean.

The food here is delicious! Everything is so fresh and has amazing flavor. The bread is all homemade. The pastries are amazing and you can watch them being made. The quiche and the croque madam are the best! Really cute small spot (counter service, beer and wine and great coffee) with a great atmosphere.

    Is there street parking?

Yes Sir, there is street Parking!! RR-:)

    What is the corkage policy?

Thank you for asking -- because we are a wine bar, we do not allow outside bottles of wine.

Is there outdoor dining (for the COVID averse)?

Yes, there are a few tables and umbrellas outside, in front of the establishment.

What time does breakfast stop serving?

Breakfast is served from 7am-11am Monday-Friday. On the weekends, we serve brunch from 8am-2pm.

Do they have a Happy Hour menu?

Our Happy Hour is 4pm-6pm Monday-Friday and 2pm-4pm Saturday and Sunday. We have wine by the glass specials, $2 oysters, and other small plate deals.

Do you order food at the counter or is sit-down with waiter?

Hi, it is counter service during the day and table service for dinner after 4pm.

Hello Is there enough space for a group of 6-8 people?

Hi, space for large parties is very limited. The tables outside on the patio can be pushed together, but because the restaurant is "first come, first serve" there may be a wait before multiple tables are free for large party accommodations. That…

    Is there Wifi?

Yes, our wi-fi pass is 965bridge

Do you allow pets like my dog to sit by the outside patio?

Hi John, you are welcome to bring your dog. We of course just ask you to ensure your pup is keeping to your space and not disturbing our other guests. Look forward to seeing you soon!

This hidden gem offers an experience that's unlike anything else in the city. The setup is simple but charming: you literally walk up to a window and order your wine. I believe it's one ring for white, two for red, and three or four for sparkling--don't quote me on that, but it adds a playful, old-world vibe that makes the whole experience memorable. The Wine Window is affordable, laid-back, and surprisingly quaint. It's the kind of place where the ambiance, the people, and the energy make it feel more like an experience within an experience--not just a drink stop. I had the chance to chat with John, the owner, who shared a bit of the backstory. He previously owned a full wine room nearby, but when the pandemic hit, he had to pivot. Instead of calling it quits, he leaned into a smaller, more intimate concept inspired by wine windows in Europe. Honestly, I think the scale makes it even better. The outdoor patio is perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine while people-watching on L Street, and yes, there's even a restroom available (a rare but very appreciated amenity for this type of setup). If you find yourself downtown, do yourself a favor--swing by The Wine Window, have a chat with John, and enjoy a unique Sacramento experience.

Inside and outside seating is available. It's more of a place for adults and not as kid friendly as it has the small bistro vibe and relaxed atmosphere. Service is friendly and they know how to recommend wine and pair with food. It's a favorite place of mine!

Cute little wine bar/restaurant located in an East Sac neighborhood. Has a definite neighborly feel…read moreand I love the artwork. I'm assuming that the art here is done by local artists. The prices, though are a little bit higher than I expected . For instance, there was an heirloom tomato salad on the menu for $24. I would think (actually I would hope) that it would feed a few people for that price? I wanted to get a glass of wine but ended up getting a half glass for $8. Once you throw in tax and tip, you're looking at over $10 for a half glass of wine. Walking out, I was talking to one of the neighbors here and asked if he had been. He said that it seemed a bit pricey for him and that he'd rather have a glass at home. I did see the table next to us order a carrot dish that looked quite interesting. I think this place would be great for a date night rather than a casual night out for instance or if you're just tired of sitting at home solo drinking lol.
