Visited for a happy hour with one of my girlfriends. They have a really nice happy hour menu. We went for the Arancini and sadly they were out of the oyster mushroom calamari, but I will be back for that. We also got a beet salad, olives and bread and a cheese plate. The Arancini was fantastic, I was not expecting that flavor explosion from a vegan dish. The beet salad was really lovely. Even though this is a mostly vegan restaurant, they do have a couple of real cheeses on the menu. We did a cheese plate and it was generously heaped with all kinds of goodies. My only critique would be that thecheese plate was missing something a little sweet, like maybe a jam or a honey. Didn't take a picture of the olives and bread, but the olives were marinated in a citrus broth and were delicious. We destroyed it all. They've got a huge selection of wines and a lot of of them are on tap. My friend really liked their Syrah that is on tab and the server informed her that she could actually buy a bottle of it so she did! I had a rosé of Granache and thought it was quite nice. They've got a killer Patio, great vibes. But we decided to sit inside because it was literally 100° that day. This is absolutely a business I will return to. read more

We went to Revolution Winery and Kitchen on Sunday around 5 pm. We chose to sit at the outdoor terrace because the weather was perfect!! The greenery decor and the gentle breeze made us feel relaxed like we were having a luxury picnic. Our server was very sweet, fun and polite and checked on us just right. His presence made us fully embraced the environment that we simply laughed out loudly at all our jokes as if we were at our own home!! We were a party of five. Three people ordered the Rev burgers because burgers are the restaurant signature dishes. They all loved their burgers and fries including the one who usually skipped burgers/meats! One got a Tofu Skewers & Noodles and she loved it. It's very flavorful with pan-seared curried tofu skewers (slightly crunchy outside and soft inside), miso-garlic rice noodles, edamame, tahini-red pepper sauce, toasted sesame seeds, and green onions. Yummy. I got the salmon and pesto pastas. The salmon was delicious and fun to eat, very crunchy on the outside and soft in the inside. The pastas with just the right amount of pesto that's perfect to my palate. Deliciousness abounds. We were greeted by the beautiful sunset when we finished our dinners. The invitation to walk was irresistible. A perfect night out. read more

We came for Sunday brunch at 10 am. It was four adults and our toddler. We sat on the patio. It was a lovely spot to start the day. Parking was easy, right next to the restaurant. That's a big plus with a little one. Everything was delicious. I had the Sunrise Sandwich with scrambled eggs, bacon, avocado and cheddar on a brioche bun. My boyfriend had something with salmon. My daughter had eggs and fruit, and she was happy. One of us is vegan, and the menu made it easy. There are lots of vegan options, and they're clearly marked. Super yummy all around. A great place for a family brunch. We'll be back. read more

Booked on Google/Resy and it was super easy to get a reservation as well as modify the time. Found street parking right across the street and got sat right away. Inside is small but cute. Had a seat by the window. It's tight quarters but didn't feel crowded. Got the elote dip and buffalo cauliflower. The elote was 4.5/5 - small portion but came with chips and fed 3 of us. 3/5 buffalo cauliflower was a little undercooked and crunchy. It wasn't my favorite and the dipping sauce wasn't memorable either. 5/5 rev burger with a side of garlic aioli. The burger was AMAZING. Flavors were delicious. I had heard about the burgers before but this was my first time trying it and I would 100% get it again. Had the burger cooked medium and I think I could probably go medium rare next time for a little more juiciness. Friends got the take out noodles which were served in a cute little Chinese takeout box and they enjoyed it. 4/5 churros came out with a candle as we were celebrating a bday. I had indicated it on my reservation but we only casually mentioned a bday and our server brought it out with a candle as a surprise and it was so sweet and thoughtful. Service was great, I believe her name was Faith. Will def be back again! read more

Adjusting my Yelp rating to reflect the good experiences I've had at Revolution recently! I stopped by for brunch and dinner, and I'll definitely be returning for brunch. The banana bread and hangover cure with steak were both delicious. I loved the cocktail menu selection, too. For dinner earlier this month, I tried Revolution's limited time Fair Food menu and was a fan of their creative takes, especially the takeout noodles and churros. Whenever I come to Revolution, I always have a reservation as it's a popular spot to dine at. I've dined both inside and on the outdoor patio. I prefer dining inside; however, the outdoor patio is undergoing some renovations with planters coming in. Service is always spectacular, and I'm glad that Revolution is a popular choice in Midtown - and for good reason! read more

What a great find! Came up to Sacramento to have a family day with my eldest son & was thoroughly impressed with the quality of food and service. We visit Revolution at least twice a month and they never fail. Service is always friendly and the food is always fantastic. The vegan chef challenge is every October and they always knock it out of the park. If you see this in October of 2026, go get the arancini asap!!! We love the rotating menu, the vegan options are always delicious, and the wine selection is great. There's something for everyone! read more

First time ever coming to this dining establishment. Let me just say, WOW! I came with a coworker who is as wine club member here and told me to come with them to try their food. So I arrived early and sat outside waiting, Adria was my server and she was such a lovely lady who was attentive and asked me how my first time being there is. I ordered the burger with fries, and their hibiscus non alcoholic drink. The drink, FABULOUS! It reminded me of Jamaica (Mexican drink) and it tasted just the same. The burger, MY GOODNESS! It was cooked to perfection, the burger had flavor, leaving me speechless. The ambiance was so cute, and very busy on a Wednesday night when we went to eat. The place overall was really nice, I would def come back to this place forever! read more

I want to revisit this review because it no longer reflects my experience. On my last several visits, the hostess I mentioned has been nothing but warm and welcoming: friendly greetings, eye contact, and genuinely kind service at the door. I appreciate the change, and it's only fair to say so publicly. With the food and service already excellent, this is now one of my favorite spots, start to finish. Updating my rating to reflect that. read more

Recently came here with my friends for our book club meeting on a Saturday afternoon. I have passed by this place so many times but for some reason assumed it was only a winery not also a restaurant/kitchen. The place is very cute inside and out, there is a ton of seating and the seating outside is covered and shaded. We sat outside after getting there with no reservation, but many tables had the "reserved" sign. We were sat and served very quickly, and our waitress was very helpful and nice. The menu is seasonal/subject to changes based on local vendors and what's available in season. I ordered the Mediterranean salad and added chicken on the side. The salad was delicious and so filling, and the chicken was flavorful and cooked just right (not dry). I loved my meal and will definitely come back to try more of the delicious options they have. read more

This is my second time here and I was pretty disappointed. It wasn't very full. They took a while to get our order going. We came in at happy hour and were really disappointed with the white offering of Gewürztraminer for the happy hour white, but went ahead and tried it but wouldn't do that again. Also, when the Bill came found out that it was 2 dollars more than listed on the menu - we were gonna order some snacks, but they took so long that it happy hour was over and we had places to be. We did have a second glass of wine - the least expensive Chardonnay by the glass was ordered came out at $14 for the glass and it was not very good. For the $60 bucks we paid, it wasn't a very happy hour. Also, it seems so much noisier in here than the last time we were here I think I'll take a break from this place for a while while. read more

Came back for a friends birthday lunch. Because of the vegan challenge there's more vegan options than usual right now. I'm not vegan but I got the Red Pepper Pasta and it was delicious! Went here on a Saturday night and luckily didn't have to wait for more than a few minutes to be seated. Although outside seating is available, it was a cold and rainy night so everyone was inside. I tried the jackfruit crab cakes. The flavor and texture was good but was way too salty. Dipping it in the sauce helped a little bit but not enough for us to be able to finish it all. Also had the REV burger. It was okay but nothing stood out. Service was good. read more

Stopped by with a large party for dinner on a weeknight. We had a reservation and were helped promptly. We came to Revolution Wines for a lunch date with my daughter and had a bit of a mixed experience. When we walked in, the greeting was minimal, and the woman who seated us was also our server. Unfortunately, the service felt a little flat -- not much personality or simple conversation, which made the experience feel less welcoming than we expected. That said, the food and wine were wonderful. We ordered a bottle of rosé, and it was absolutely delicious. We also shared the bread and olives as an appetizer, along with the tomato basil soup and grilled cheese -- and wow, just wow. It was genuinely so good. Comforting, flavorful, and exactly what you want from that combo. Overall, the food and wine really impressed us, but a warmer, more engaging service experience would have made it exceptional. read more

I loved the steak and frites! The fries had a delicious rosemary flavor and were the perfect crispiness. Steak was cooked to perfection - medium rare, as ordered! The Petite Syrah was a great wine and I did a taste test before ordering my glass. For our appetizers we ordered the cauliflower tempura and the bread & olives. We ordered the gluten free bread. Our waitress was very sweet and kind. Great service! It gets busy so I would recommend making a reservation if you can. Small and tight fit spot, it was a great dinner! I will be back! read more

My go-to spot when I want to have a nicer, high quality meal. The food is always delicious and the best part is that most of the items on their menu have gluten free or vegan options. We went for the dine downtown and I was impressed by the main course and dessert. The steak was juicy and cooked how I asked and the fries were crispy. The dessert was mind blowing. I was shocked at how the carrot cake slice I had was gluten free and vegan. Same with the chocolate mousse. It was so rich and the raspberry sauce complimented it really well. The service is nothing short of excellent every time I've been. They are attentive, kind, and accommodating. The restaurant is great at all times of the year. In the summer it's so nice to sit at the patio area outside. Inside can get a little cramped when full but it still makes for a good time. read more

Right next to the co-op. You can park in the parking garage or the co-op. Been wanting to try this place and saw it on the dine downtown list. Lots of vegan and vegetarian options! Got a last minute reservation and tried their DD menu. It was very busy for a weekday night! I started with crab cakes while my bf got the French dip. The crab cakes were filled with lots of crab but were quite small. The French dip was really thick and not as oniony as we hoped. My bf then got the steak frites and I got the cioppino. He ordered the steak medium but it was still quite rare. We tried to flag down our waiter to tell him but it was busy and we didn't see him for awhile. My bf decided to eat it anyway though it was too rare for his taste. 'Y cioppino had ok flavor but the fish was rubbery and overcooked. Ended with the butter budino and chocolate mousse. The pudding was grainy and the chocolate mousse was quite thick. Not sure if this was the desired texture of both but from what I have had in the past pudding should be creamier and mousse is lighter. Service was quite slow. The table next to us waited over an hour for their food and our waiter was nowhere to be found when we needed him throughout our meal. Value of the DD menu is good and saves you a few dollars. read more

Revolution has been on my list to try for a long time! I've heard mixed things! My girlfriends and I had brunch on the outdoor patio. We had a ressy which was necessary because it appeared almost every table had a reserved sign on it. I got the sangria. They only had red. It was good, but it didn't blow me away. The brunch menu was really nice. It had a little something for everyone including some vegan options. I ended up getting the sunny side burger. The burger was huge and had lettuce, tomato, pickle and of course the egg on it! It came with potatoes! Good portion size. The rest of my table all ended up getting the hangover cure 3 different ways. One with steak medium well, medium rare and then one with no meat the vegan way I believe. They all said it was good just very heavy on the potatoes! The vibe of this place is really nice the outdoor patio is cute and it's located right next to the temple coffee on S street and the Sacramento co op! Parking is available on the street or you can park in the co op parking lot! You can also order coffee at temple and bring it over. Which we did! Kind of ironic that I didn't actually try any of the wine here and wasn't blown away by the sangria. I would come back. Our server was so sweet and even let us split the bill 4 ways! read more

Great wine, great food, and amazing service. If you're looking for those three things, Rev has all of them and more! We recently moved into the area and since moving, I swear we've stopped by nearly every week. We love Rev so much, we became apart of their "Renew Society". Their Renew Society is a recent addition to their wine subscription packages (only $25 for some great perks). Since we're within walking distance, we pop in frequently for a wine refill and choose them 1000x over instead of buying a random bottle from the grocery store. We know their wine, love their wine, and highly recommend it. Not exclusively into wine? They have an amazing sangria (yes it's made with wine but it's BOMB) and I'd recommend just stopping by for their amazing food. Rev's menu changes with the seasons and it's amazing every time. Pro tip: Thursdays is their burger special ($21 for a burger and a drink) and the chef creates a special burger every week. Love, love, LOVE Rev! read more

I went there during the weekdays during happy hour and it was busy. Many tables were filled up. We were greeted as we walked in and the waitress walked us through the menu. My first time here was during Happy Hour on a Burger Thursday! My girlfriend and I made reservations just in case. We sat outside on the patio, which was equally as cute as the setup inside. They offer a Burger + Beverage (Alcoholic/Non-Alcoholic) for $25. The burger options include the Rev Burger, Jammin Burger, and Weekly Chef Burger. Definitely could not pass that up! We started with our beverages (Delta Breeze and Summer Sun Sangria) and the Fried Oyster Mushrooms appetizer. I also ordered the Red Wine Maker Flight, which came with a Zinfandel/Malbec/Petit Verdot. Each tasting was half a glass, so I was definitely feeling it by the end of our meal. We could not pass up on dessert, which I believe was a Tres Leches Cheesecake - very rich and sweet. Everything was tasty and the service was amazing! Dine Downtown 2026, reservations for party of 6 (two no-shows), girls' night for my birthday week. I had a Lady Ginger NA mocktail to start, and first course a seemingly bottomless bowl of beet salad. The others tried a midnight cherry mocktail, alcoholic spritz drink, the tomato bisque with grilled cheese, crab cakes, etc. For main I had the steak frites, but they also had a cassoulet and cioppino dish. For desserts I always love the butterscotch budino but this time I got the chocolate mousse (complete with birthday candle), and there was also a vegan carrot cake. We ate at Revolution Winery and Kitchen because it was our friend's birthday and he likes wine and his partner is vegan. Overall we had a good time, food was good and service was friendly and attentive. It would not be my first choice to visit because I felt the food was good but nothing special. But I would definitely come here again if invited or if I needed to find a place to accommodate vegan/vegetarian friends because there is a good variety for them whilst still having some meat/fish options. The detail: - Make a reservation. My friend did not (thinking it wouldn't be busy) and we waited 30 minutes for a table of 6 on a Thursday night. - We ordered shared vegan appetizers: Bread and olives, fried cauliflower and Brussel sprouts. All were nicely cooked and tasty. - For main, I ordered a cioppino and my partner ordered a burger. The cioppino was flavorful, not overcooked. My partner thought the burger was just okay. I took a bite and the flavor was texture were good. - I had the house red wine and it was very good. - For dessert we shared a carrot cake (okay, a little dry) and chocolate mousse (excellent though the serving was very small). - I really liked our server who was friendly, warm and helpful. - We sat outside on the patio on the side. There was no heater next to our table and staff was not able to move the heaters (as they break easily). Had it been colder it would be been very uncomfortable. read more

I've been meaning to leave a review for Rev for ages. I've been coming here for years and it's always a good time and the food and the service never disappoints. Not to mention that I'm also a wine Club member & thoroughly enjoy the rotation of wines and the member perks. Burger Thursday rocks! Great value for the price, and just genuinely great food and service. We were clearly not the only ones there for Burger Thursday, so there was a little wait. However, we were seated pretty quickly for how long of a line there was when we arrived. We sat at the bar, but there was also a table outside on their patio (it was cold and wet so we opted for the bar). The bartenders were all very friendly and attentive. We got some great burgers - they do a chef special burger each week and some delicious wine and wine cocktail. I decided on their Sunset Sangria while my husband got their house red. Both drinks were excellent. The burgers and fries were excellent as well. The food all tasted super fresh. The patties were hand formed and cooked perfectly to medium. Everything was so good, we finished it all. The German chocolate cake was their dessert special and we were feeling a bit extra, so we ordered a slice to split. Again, the cake was a treat!
