Happy hour menu

I haven't been here for years. In fact I recall when this place was part wine bar, part wine bottle shop! Fast forward to now and the focus seems to be more loungey. The area where the bottle shop was is now a large seating area with comfy plush chairs on one side, booths on the other and tables in the middle. A friend wanted to come here since they had all day happy hour on Tuesdays. Was pleasantly surprised by the Oregon pinot noir on the HH menu at $10. Also enjoyed the charcuterie board that was $12 on happy hour. Grapes could have been fresher and perhaps more than one type of cheese would have been nice, but it was still substantial. Service was on point and attentive. The waitress even demonstrated the "chambong" that they have for $5 on happy hour. If you ever did beer bongs in your college years, you can now do champagne and rose ones while you are adulting. I wasn't in the mood for chugging champagne, I prefer to sip my alcohol these days. They also have $3 oysters on the menu for happy hour. I'll have to try those out the next time I come back.

I actually loved this place. It was my first time visiting the other day. We went for my friends graduation and they graciously sat our large party of eight together. We really appreciated the fact they sat us together. I ordered a few oysters and oh my goodness were they delicious! Absolutely divine. I loved the brine around the oyster such a delicious treat. I highly recommend them. I also had a chambong which was easier to throw back than I expected. I throughly enjoyed the experience. I highly recommend this establishment for a girls night. I feel like it totally has that vibe. The happy hour has phenomenal deals and goes until 6:00 pm! Definitely will be back!

Came here for girls night initially my friend showed up and she wasn't greeted properly. She just kind of stood there and waited then they happen to see her from there's a service was good. The Ambiance is great the food it was good. Drinks were good. It's just that the initial customer service wasn't that great but all in all we had a great time.

I came here Saturday night for the first time by way of invite. I didn't take that any pictures when I arrived, but I did take a of picture of my food. I decided to go with the prawns appetizer and the Aperol spritz for a drink. Both items were on point, I have no complaints whatsoever. The portion size and the quality of both items met my approval. The ambience is very intimate. I love the decor. It's great if you're gonna go have drinks at the bar or if you're going to have dinner. The server was super sweet and on point I did not get her name. I wanna come back again to try their happy hour and really be able to take more pictures because this place meets the great vibes check.

My girlfriend decided to take the family and I here for Father's Day lunch. When we arrived there were one or two people in the bar area, but the main area was open for us to sit in in the back at the large hourse mural. Our waitress happily greeted and provided us the menu, to which we looked everything erything over. During out attempt to order, we ended up finding out several things weren't available as we were in the early part of lunch. After the restaurant shifted over my breakfast/brunch, so something's unfortunately weren't avaliable just yet. Which is good for future reference if you dine here; to come in or make reservations a little later so the kitchen is fully ready with everything on the menu. We did however order the following. Appetizers: Deviled eggs Main Dishes: Shrimp Bucatini Filet Mignon Mac & Cheese w/Pork Belly Prok Dessert: Carrot cake All of the food was really good, just ome of the things there didn't have avaliable yet was in the dish my girlfriend ordered. So she had one less side than normal or was desired, but our waitress comped us since we still wamted that dish. The mac & cheese with pork belly, looked and smelled amazing, and my Shrimp Bucatini was delicious and filling. Overall: Good food, great decor and friendl staff. Would definitely recommend.

Super cute, intimate throw back to the days when the best establishments were built with brick and steel - spot that serves a menu full of delicious bites but the wineeeee !!! Service was spot on and went above and beyond!

My girlfriends and I were on the hunt for a spot to grab drinks and some food, and after seeing this place on Yelp, we decided to give it a shot. First impressions: the place has two sets of double door entrances, but one of them is locked with no sign indicating which to use. Seems like a small thing, but when you're standing there unsure where to go, and watching other people do the same, it starts to feel like a missed opportunity for some basic signage. Just saying! We walked in around 1PM on a Sunday and... the place was completely empty, aside from staff. That definitely gave us pause, but the space itself was beautiful and the server who greeted us was very friendly. Based on the vibe and the great reviews, we decided to stick around and at least have a drink. Unfortunately, the menu didn't really impress. The food options felt limited, and a basic salad was surprisingly overpriced. We just couldn't find anything that really sounded appealing, so we each ordered a drink and then decided to head elsewhere for food. While we sat, we actually watched 2-3 other people walk up, try the locked doors, get confused, and leave again, a simple "Use Other Door" sign could really make a difference here. All that said, it wasn't a bad experience, the space is gorgeous and the bathrooms were huge with full mirrors (which I always appreciate). But unfortunately.... it's not a spot I'd personally return to.

Wow, I'm surprised that I haven't tried this place sooner! My friends and I ended up here because they accepted reservations for a party of which was perfect for my friend's birthday celebration. As soon as I walked in, I thought "wow, I loveeeee the vibe." Such a cute date night spot or GNO, all around nice interior! The bar is separate from the dining area and there are loungey couches throughout the restaurant, gosh I loved it! For foods, it's tapas, shareable style. They don't have big entrées like traditional restaurants, so keep that in mind that the dishes are smaller and they are shareable. Peep my pictures on the items that I would recommend ;) I would absolutely return to 58 Degrees & Holding for another visit.

Took my partner here recently for brunch as a pre-anniversary gift. I based my decision on their menu on the website. He likes steak and eggs and it shows they had a filet mignon and egg combo which made it more special for our event. They also showed an Eggs Benedict with brocollini/mushroom/potato combo which was also up his alley. I saw a Steak Salad for me. The bad news is none of these are still offered. They really need to update their website. The wait for our food seemed long but the good news is that the food was very good. They now have a sirloin and egg combo with fingerling potatoes. The steak was a tad too salty for our taste the meats flavor and tenderness and how perfectly they cooked it to medium was fantatic. The scrambled eggs were also cooked perfectly and not overdone like most places, and he really liked the potatoes. The salad they offer now came with pecans, bacon and strawberries with poached eggs. I requested the eggs be poached a little extra to ensure the whites were done. The salad was great. The eggs ended up a little firmer than I had hoped (not soft yolk) but no runny whites so I cannot complain. The bacon lardons were plentiful and very tasty. The vineagrette was very nice. There was only one waittress on duty. Very personable and very good service from her, It seemed to take extra long to get out check but they may not have been her fault. As for ambiance, we werent really digging the goth type decor which seems a little too casual for the price point but the holiday decor was really nice. Overall a good experience.

So here's the scoop: 58 Holdings hit pause for one day. No heads-up, no signage--just doors closed and me standing there like, "Did I miss a memo?" Naturally, I had questions. But I'm not one to hold grudges over a blip--I'm here for service, not drama. The Return When I came back a few months later.... everything was smooth and steady. The crew was focused, the vibe was grounded, and they kept things professional. Ambience............ Now let's talk setting. Cozy meets contemporary. Warm wood tones, soft lighting, and music at just the right volume--it's the kind of place that invites you to kick back, stay awhile, and plot your next bold move over brunch. It's intimate without being stiff, lively without being chaotic. A little oasis tucked into your weekend. Brunch Breakdown And let me tell you, the brunch was brunching. I got the steak and eggs with country potatoes. Nom nom nom! Everything was delicious and on point!! Every dish was plated with care and rich with flavor--not just the type of food you eat, but the type you photograph and send to group chats with "you NEED to come here." Bottomless Mimosas For $15, bottomless mimosas felt downright celebratory. Orange or cranberry? Both, please. Served with a wink and refilled with respect. It's the kind of detail that turns a good brunch into a great one--and let's be real, sometimes the mimosa is the moment. Final Thoughts: 58 Holdings is a definite go to for brunch! They delivered strong service and served brunch like they invented it. I'll keep showing up--as long as they do. Because in business and in brunch, consistency is queen.

Visit it here on a tuesday evening. There are two other tables seated, and a couple people at the bar. Pretty relaxed crowd and easy to get a table. Our server was bright and cheerful and met all of our expectations. I have walked past this place for years. And never knew they had food. I had always thought this just a wine bar. First time eating here, I have to say the food is amazing. We had the pork belly tacos to start, they were crispy and tender at the same time and full of flavor. This was off the happy hour menu, surprisingly at how big they were. Also off the happy hour menu was the blood orange mule. This chilled drink also hit the spot. For dinner, we had a steak salad and the filet mignon, along with a side of mac and cheese. Every bite of all these dishes was extremely well prepared, flavorful and provided so much joy to gobble up! Each ingredient and the steak salad complemented each other and together made an excellent meal. The mac and cheese was also perfect.Tender cheesy and just amazing. The filet mignon was the best dish we had. This night the meat melted in my mouth. This dish compares and often exceeds steaks.I've had at some of the more premier steakhouses in town. Overall, on this visit, we have five stars. Service food price all amazing.

Cava, Segura Viudas, Brut, ES, NV

I learned about 58 Degrees from the Explore Midtown Pass (active from September through November), and I was excited to go somewhere new to me and claim their Cajun Mac n Cheese and Cava deal for $15! I arrived on Friday evening, and the vibes reminded me of a speakeasy with the dimmed lighting and art deco finishes. My friend and I asked to be seated at the high tops in the bar. The bar is tucked behind the main dining room, and we opted for the bar to have some privacy from the loud, live music. Fortunately, the bar was quieter and I noticed more patrons gravitating towards this side as the night went on. When we were ready to redeem our deal, our server seemed out of the loop. She spoke with another staff and confirmed that our pass would be honored. Everything arrived in a timely manner, and my friend and I enjoyed our Mac and Cheese, although we were both searching for the Cajun seasoning. The pours of Cava Brut were generous, and my friend was interested in possibly ordering another glass, but we felt rushed out the door. The host approached our table several times, and each time felt more disruptive than the last. I would understand if they were running a wait and needed our table, but I didn't see her check in on any other seated tables and there were still high tops available. I felt so uncomfortable and couldn't wait to leave. My friend expressed similar feelings, and it was unfortunate that our night felt cut short here.

We loooove a good wine bar! We have lived around the corner from 58 for nearly three years and only recently began frequenting the establishment. We are def coming back more often and soon! If you've been here before, you'll love to know that they revamped their menu. It's simple, upscale, and delicious! Their previous menu was slightly dated, but now, it's so much better! Everything we ordered was delicious. Highly recommend their Happy Hour menu and HH drinks. Don't forget their $5 chambongs during HH! My favorite dish was the rosé oysters! They're a steal during happy hour at $3 an oyster (regular plate is $18 for 4). Service was great, super helpful and friendly. Love the overall vibe of the place! Such a great place to meet up with friends!

I remember from the video they said this was considered a "bartenders bar",the kind of spot that that bartenders and workers in the industry would hangout after their shifts-I liked the sound of that. Walking up to where I thought the bar was located,it was kinda funny because it was just an innocent looking blue door with the words "Cocktail" along the side-doesn't look like much at all,I'd imagine I've walked by this place many times without thinking of ever going in-that was changing this time. In closing,if you ever find yourself in the Ice Blocks part of midtown and want to experience an awesome bar that feels very unique-head on down to Frank and have a drink or two-you won't regret it-I think I may have found my new favorite bar in all of Sacramento. The cucumber jalapeño margarita was refreshing, though a little sweeter than I expected and missing the spicy kick I was hoping for. The guacamole was fresh and tasty, but the portion was quite small and barely enough for two people in my opinion. The salsa was also small but it was absolutely phenomenal. The chicken tacos were excellent, with tender chicken that was perfectly seasoned and full of flavor. The enmoladas were also fantastic and are a great way to sample Oaxaca's three unique mole sauces, each with its own distinct character. One thing to note is that the chicken filling is intentionally prepared very simply in traditional Oaxacan cuisine so that the mole remains the star of the dish. If you prefer heavily seasoned meat, this dish may be milder than what you are used to. Overall, everything we tried was delicious and offered a wonderful taste of authentic Oaxacan flavors. We ended up going with a few drinks that day. -Strawberry Negroni-($13.00)-This one blew my socks off-my favorite drink in the works is a Negroni but this bar makes a Strawberry version of it and let me tell ya-it's dynamite-10/10 rating -Old Fashioned-($12.00)-This is my go-to order at most bars because it's pretty reliable and most bars can make a decent one and I'd say they make a very solid one here-8.2/10 rating -Cucumber Gimlet with Tequila-($11.00)-This drink was made with lime-sweet vermouth and tequila-it was very refreshing and went down way too easy-rating 8.4/10 -Mezcal mystery drink-($12.00)-This was a drink the bartender made that after we declared our love for the smokiness of mezcal-I wouldn't be able to ask for it again unless I got the same waitress but if your a mezcal lover like I am-this drink was top of the line-smokiness intensity off the charts-9.1/10 rating So a little about the place that I picked up during my visit-I guess they serve food-I didn't know that but after my 2nd drink I looked back and saw this entire dining area with table side grills-so I guess the customers cook their own meats and such-pretty cool concept-my visit was strictly a drinking visit so I didn't partake but it looked pretty cool. I guess they are opened most days from 4p-12am and until 2am on Friday and Saturday nights. They do not have a dedicated parking lot for this bar but they are located near 34th and Broadway-so unlimited street parking is available for those who drive here. In closing-I really really enjoyed my visit to The Butterscotch Den and I was pretty sure I had found my new favorite bar in Sacramento with a bar in the Ice Blocks but I am pretty sure that has changed and The Butterscotch Den is my new favorite bar in the greater Sacramento area-if you find yourself looking for a new spot to enjoy some adult beverages or maybe looking for a date night spot-don't hesitate to make your way over to The Butterscotch Den-the place is a true hidden gem. PS-They have a Disco Ball in their lounge area and a vintage non-working cigarette machine-the coolest I tell ya.
