The Butterscotch Den in Oak Park fast became our go-to bar in Sac and is on the shortlist of places to go when friends or family come into the area. The Den embraces the 70s lounge feel and does it well! The decor with their dimly-lit, amber-hued lighting it makes for a great date night spot. Sidle up to the bar and the staff is incredibly kind and patient even on a busy night. At the bar top, the den has a daily drink cocktail special that has yet to fail me. They are also known for their freezer box martini's that you can also add a "bump" of caviar to for an additional $5 (I've done this before and it is indeed silly, but the briny burst from the caviar is an excellent addition to a gin martini. Do it!). I have not eaten dinner here beyond grabbing a couple of their hot dinner rolls with house made compote butter, but Butterscotch Den is also known for their communal grill-it-yourself experience. In the dining area there is a large grill to cook your protein of choice from the menu whether it be a steak, hot dog, or burger. More often than not when we go to Butterscotch Den, there are multiple people grilling their food. Overall, Butterscotch Den is a hidden gem in the Sacramento/East Sac area but we're doing our best to bring as many people there. Also note that usually during the Christmas holidays, BD does the Christmas Takeover with seasonal drinks.
Such a fun concept! They have a grill in one room where you can grill your own burger/hot dog. Not sure if they have other meats. We did the combo with cavier bumps. They also have a bar area.
So the wifey and I are day drinking our way thru Oak Park on this particular Saturday and as we were kinda walking aimlessly after a few beers at a local brewery-we ran across this simple unassuming door with the name The Butterscotch Den written across it-it's kinda crazy because I had no idea where this bar was and for sure didn't know it was in Oak Park-I couldn't have been happier as this bar has been high on my must visit list for months. When we walked in I knew I was in the perfect spot-this bar has those low lights that all the bars in the 70s and 80s had-giving off a both romantic and mysterious vibe to it-I was in love with the place from that moment on. The music that day was awesome-I heard they have live music at times but at the time of my visit they did not-they were instead playing 90s and 2000s R&B and Hip Hop-it was wonderful-one banger after another-so yeah I was vibing. Our waitress couldn't have been cooler-she was as friendly as can be-suggesting drinks that were both on and off the menu-her and I were sharing tequila stories based on our shared affinity for the Fortaleza tequila they had in stock -which is super rare and it's how I judge every bar-whether or not they have Fortaleza tequila on hand and The Butterscotch Den had multiple bottles on hand. We ended up going with a few drinks that day. -Strawberry Negroni-($13.00)-This one blew my socks off-my favorite drink in the works is a Negroni but this bar makes a Strawberry version of it and let me tell ya-it's dynamite-10/10 rating -Old Fashioned-($12.00)-This is my go-to order at most bars because it's pretty reliable and most bars can make a decent one and I'd say they make a very solid one here-8.2/10 rating -Cucumber Gimlet with Tequila-($11.00)-This drink was made with lime-sweet vermouth and tequila-it was very refreshing and went down way too easy-rating 8.4/10 -Mezcal mystery drink-($12.00)-This was a drink the bartender made that after we declared our love for the smokiness of mezcal-I wouldn't be able to ask for it again unless I got the same waitress but if your a mezcal lover like I am-this drink was top of the line-smokiness intensity off the charts-9.1/10 rating So a little about the place that I picked up during my visit-I guess they serve food-I didn't know that but after my 2nd drink I looked back and saw this entire dining area with table side grills-so I guess the customers cook their own meats and such-pretty cool concept-my visit was strictly a drinking visit so I didn't partake but it looked pretty cool. I guess they are opened most days from 4p-12am and until 2am on Friday and Saturday nights. They do not have a dedicated parking lot for this bar but they are located near 34th and Broadway-so unlimited street parking is available for those who drive here. In closing-I really really enjoyed my visit to The Butterscotch Den and I was pretty sure I had found my new favorite bar in Sacramento with a bar in the Ice Blocks but I am pretty sure that has changed and The Butterscotch Den is my new favorite bar in the greater Sacramento area-if you find yourself looking for a new spot to enjoy some adult beverages or maybe looking for a date night spot-don't hesitate to make your way over to The Butterscotch Den-the place is a true hidden gem. PS-They have a Disco Ball in their lounge area and a vintage non-working cigarette machine-the coolest I tell ya.
My husband and I visited Butterscotch Den for Valentine's Day for a date night and to say that we were blown away from start to finish would be an understatement! It is located in Oak Park (which I love) right near Licked and Oaxaca on Broadway. Street parking is only available so that can be an issue at times. Butterscotch Den has been on my list for a while and we decided to make a reservation for the holiday. I absolutely loved the interior - it was so cozy and was the true definition of their motto - "fine diving." They have a huge bar when you walk in that is open seating plus cozy booths throughout. They also have a stage, but they did not have live music when we were there. The whole interior was decorated for the Valentine's Day holiday and I was in love. We were given a cute booth in front of the grilling area and decided to take advantage of their Lovers Lane menu (which runs for the whole month of February)! The Lovers Lane menu consisted of 2 glasses of wine, 4 dinner rolls, 2 side salads, 2 baked potatoes, a 12oz Ribeye, steamed prawns and chocolate fondue for $100! We added on their Pretzel from their Happy Hour menu and I opted out of the wine and upgraded to their infamous Frozen Gin Martini with a Caviar bump! I actually had 2 of these martinis and tried their Two's a Pear cocktail from the Lovers Lane menu. My husband also tried their Old Fashioned and ended the night with a Fernet Branca. The entire meal was incredible - compliments to the Chef AKA my husband who cooked a mean steak! Our server was great and very attentive even though they were very busy on Saturday! She was very personable and every employee that approached our table was great at explaining how to cook each item. We took our time with our meal which was the beauty of it - cooking at our own pace and never feeling rushed. I really loved the intimacy of just slowing down and cooking our own meal - it felt very romantic especially given the day. They also have merchandise that you can purchase - we took home 2 of their branded martini glasses for just $20 and their Happy Hour is every day from 4-6pm and 10pm to close as well. Overall, I cannot say enough good things. My husband and I had a wonderful time and it has become hands down my new favorite restaurant! I want to visit weekly - actually can I just move in?!
I can only speak to cocktails here--but we stopped in for a nightcap after dinner around 9:30 on a Saturday. They are known for their Frozen Martini, so I had to get that with a lemon twist. My husband had the strawberry Negroni which was also very delicious. The age range was wide from Gen Z to Gen X enjoying the bar and restaurant. I loved the moody lighting and the bartenders were super friendly and sweet. I'd come back for sure!
What a cool experience! It's like American bbq but make it fancy with drinks and ambience. Service was so friendly and stellar from the hosts, bartender, to the waiter. We ordered from the happy hour menu - cocktails, hotdog, pretzel, cheeseburger. Not on the happy hour menu was the sirloin steak, dinner rolls, and baked potato. Everything was sooooo good! The wait was super quick and while we waited we were able to sit at the bar and get drinks. I would totally come again.

I'm going to enter their first annual steak cooking contest! I think I have a good chance. Well, actually a GREAT chance!! SERVICE The staff is top notch. They are great at explaining the experience, food items and cocktails. They ask what you like and what you don't like and then make informed recommendations drawing on their experience and expertise. DECOR Dark, soft and cozy. Great 70's music playing. Not too loud currently. A nice chill vibe. Live music on certain nights of the week. Take a chance and come in to find out when and enjoy! CLEANLINESS Always clean! I have never experienced otherwise. They have pride in all that they do and it shows! LOCATION In the heart of Sacramento. Good street parking. A nice location! PRICE All in all, respectable. Comparatively speaking in our current financial climate, they are priced great! OVERALL EXPERIENCE Always enjoy coming back. I come alone, with another person, or a booger group. All are great experiences!
I'm not a drinker, but I love their NA menu. I cannot get enough of the no-jillo -- I'm dangerously addicted. It's so perfectly balanced and creamy. The ambience is such a vibe and the staff are amazing. I especially LOVE coming on First Fridays when Coco Lamarr sings. Such a hidden gem!
Our latest trip to The Butterscotch Den was during their Miracle on Broadway holiday drink experience. We made reservations weeks in advance so we could enjoy dinner with my husband's parents on a Thursday, which is one of their Jazz nights. The whole restaurant was decked out in decorations, the walls and ceilings were covered with festive decor. Along with the decorations they had their Miracle menu of drinks that included a variety of options with different alcohol options. They all came in cute cups and most of the cups were also able to be purchased to take home. We ordered a variety of drinks that ranged from $14-$17 depending on the drink. They also had mocktails available for $12. They all had festive flavors, and the fun glasses made it even more special. We also ordered food, they had regular menu items like the steaks, veggies and portabella mushrooms, and then some special items like fondu and chili. I shared chili, portabella mushrooms, and fondue for two (with a pretzel and top sirloin). They have the chili, fondue, and pretzel cooked for you, but the veggies and meats you grill yourself on the big grill. They have tools for you to use as well as seasonings and sauces. The fun thing about grill your own experiences is that you get to cook it to your taste, so with the high quality ingredients they offer it should taste great. The items they cooked for us were delicious too- the chili was really flavorful, the pretzel was cooked well, and the fondue was flavorful and the perfect dipping sauce. The staff was so friendly and were working very hard with the Miracle crowds coming through. They did a great job of taking care of all the tables while navigating a packed restaurant and bar. The musicians were also great, they played jazz versions of holiday music and it was a nice change from the classic versions of songs you typically hear. This is one of our favorite date night spots, so I know we'll be back again soon.
Despite not being a big drinker, I am a sucker for holiday pop-up bars and Butterscotch Den's Miracle on Broadway is no exception. My coworkers and I stopped by for an impromptu visit on a Friday night and completely lucked out squeezing into a table for dinner -- we were informed that tables are booked out for the next several weeks, so getting in after a 15 min wait was a true holiday miracle :') I've been here before for the grill-your-own-burgers and steaks when they initially opened but I barely recognized the place with how completely transformed they were for the holidays, with festive decor, holiday cups (available for purchase) and an adorable (and delicious) selection of themed cocktails: try the Christmapolitan, Reindeer spritzers and Run Rudolph Run! You can grill your own burgers/steaks at a communal grill instead of tableside (a plus to avoid that smoky meat smell on your clothes for the rest of the day) or if you aren't in the mood to work the grill, they also have Fondue for Two ($30) and Den Beef Chili. A great opportunity to impress your date with your grilling skills, but instructions are also included for novices like me (noob tip: the buns toast much quicker than you think!) * My only gripe is that I've frequently seen inadvertent mixing between the grillware for raw vs cooked, so there could be more emphasis on signage to distinguish between the two to avoid cross contamination. Service was friendly and accommodative-- I was so incredibly appreciative of the staff for squeezing us in without a reservation and even bringing us complimentary wine spritzers! A perfect casual hang-out or date spot for dinner and drinks, complete with cozy holiday vibes (+live jazz/music on select nights). if you're coming with a big group, make sure to plan ahead and get reservations well in advance for big groups as it can be a 1-2 hour wait (there's a standing waiting area at the bar where you can get drinks but no food). Happy hour runs from 4-6pm and again from 10pm-closing, and be sure to swing by before Jan 3rd to catch their Miracle popup!
Dim lighting and cozy booths! A great place for date and catching up with a friend. Amazing service and the happy hour is just right! I even feel more confident about cooking meat on my own after the tips and pointers from our server. That's right you have to cook your own meats and vegetables here! They give you the all the seasonings and you are in charge! I ordered the burger and they are pressed fresh daily. Juicy and delicious I was so impressed with myself. I also had the pretzel and the beer cheese was lick the cup worthy!
Absolutely wonderful! Everything is reasonably priced. The service in ambience was amazing. You cook your own steaks or whatever meat you want and it is a blast we love the old-fashioned and the frozen martinis. I cannot recommend this place more. They have jazz on Tuesday and Thursday nights and it is at a reasonable noise level. We cannot wait to go back and recommend this experience to everyone.
I've been wanting to try Butterscotch Den for so long, and it absolutely did not disappoint. The space was perfectly decorated for Christmas! Grilling your own meat was such a fun, interactive experience, and the fondue was delicious. The cocktails were expertly made, festive ~ clearly crafted by someone who knows what they're doing. A heads-up: this isn't really a spot to pop into with a large group and linger at the bar, as the bar space doesn't accommodate that well. Reservations are definitely the way to go. From the hostess greeting us at the door to our food server, the service was absolutely flawless ~ warm, friendly, and attentive. We loved the entire experience and will definitely be back. Highly recommend! Such a fun place!
Food- cook it yourself but with good ingredients, it's more difficult to go wrong. Service- they slapped the raw slab of beef down on the table. But everything was great, as they provide what you need for a delicious meal. Ambiance- dark and cozy. They have an actual bar which is away from the grill for those choosing to imbibe and go. We got introduced to The Butterscotch Den by a couple of lawyers who evidently know the 'hood. Been a while since I've lived/worked in town so they are a great resource to fun places like this. Drinks are delicious. I ordered a couple different sauces to go with our large steak which we split. Even having split the steak, we brought some home. You cook your own so be okay with possibly not sitting the entire time. On the side of the grill are various accoutrements for your steak. Assorted flavored salts as well as regular salt and pepper were included with the experience. You could also order compound butter for a small fee but we didn't. Might want to try a much more budget friendly hot dog or even a sausage next time. Try it out for happy hour! Very friendly drink list. read more

The Butterscotch Den is a great grill-your-own steak restaurant in Oak Park with a nice bar. The atmosphere is dark, divey, with speakeasy vibes. We had reservations and were seated near the grill in the back room. I was surprised to find out that we had to season and grill our own steaks. There's plenty of seasoning and condiments near the grill so you have to season it up there. Then place your meat on the grill and flip it when it's ready. We ordered the 12 oz. rib eye ($43), steamed prawns ($14.50), and a baked potato ($7.50). The rib eye looked really good, but I would have preferred an expert to season the steak for me. I added salt and pepper, and some garlic powder. The flavor turned out nicely, but the crown on top was the additional compound butter and blue cheese sauce we added. The prawns were small shrimps. Not sure why I was picturing large jumbo sized prawns. They tasted fine in garlic butter. The loaded baked potato was delicious. The staff were nice to bring extra toppings when requested. For cocktail, I was leaning towards the strawberry negroni, but the waitress recommended the Cucumber Gimlet, which I ordered. To me, it was okay, mainly because I wasn't crazy about tasting cucumbers and it was not too strong. It was light and refreshing. Since it was a celebration, I had a slice of lemon cake from Freeport Bakery. They put a candle in it and brought out the bubble gun. They carried 2 types of Freeport Bakery cakes, and the lemon was really good. The staff were friendly and helpful. Great first dining experience at The Butterscotch Den. read more

My coworkers and I stopped by for an impromptu visit on a Friday night and completely lucked out squeezing into a table for dinner -- we were informed that tables are booked out for the next several weeks, so getting in after a 15 min wait was a true holiday miracle :') I've been here before for the grill-your-own-burgers and steaks when they initially opened but I barely recognized the place with how completely transformed they were for the holidays, with festive decor, holiday cups (available for purchase) and an adorable (and delicious) selection of themed cocktails: try the Christmapolitan, Reindeer spritzers and Run Rudolph Run! You can grill your own burgers/steaks at a communal grill instead of tableside (a plus to avoid that smoky meat smell on your clothes for the rest of the day) or if you aren't in the mood to work the grill, they also have Fondue for Two ($30) and Den Beef Chili. A great opportunity to impress your date with your grilling skills, but instructions are also included for novices like me (noob tip: the buns toast much quicker than you think!) * My only gripe is that I've frequently seen inadvertent mixing between the grillware for raw vs cooked, so there could be more emphasis on signage to distinguish between the two to avoid cross contamination. Service was friendly and accommodative-- I was so incredibly appreciative of the staff for squeezing us in without a reservation and even bringing us complimentary wine spritzers! A perfect casual hang-out or date spot for dinner and drinks, complete with cozy holiday vibes (+live jazz/music on select nights). if you're coming with a big group, make sure to plan ahead and get reservations well in advance for big groups as it can be a 1-2 hour wait (there's a standing waiting area at the bar where you can get drinks but no food). Happy hour runs from 4-6pm and again from 10pm-closing, and be sure to swing by before Jan 3rd to catch their Miracle popup! read more
Dim lighting and cozy booths! A great place for date and catching up with a friend. Amazing service and the happy hour is just right! I even feel more confident about cooking meat on my own after the tips and pointers from our server. That's right you have to cook your own meats and vegetables here! Absolutely wonderful! Everything is reasonably priced. The service in ambience was amazing. You cook your own steaks or whatever meat you want and it is a blast we love the old-fashioned and the frozen martinis. I cannot recommend this place more. They have jazz on Tuesday and Thursday nights and it is at a reasonable noise level. We cannot wait to go back and recommend this experience to everyone. read more

I've been wanting to try Butterscotch Den for so long, and it absolutely did not disappoint. The space was perfectly decorated for Christmas! Grilling your own meat was such a fun, interactive experience, and the fondue was delicious. The cocktails were expertly made, festive ~ clearly crafted by someone who knows what they're doing. A heads-up: this isn't really a spot to pop into with a large group and linger at the bar, as the bar space doesn't accommodate that well. Reservations are definitely the way to go. From the hostess greeting us at the door to our food server, the service was absolutely flawless ~ warm, friendly, and attentive. We loved the entire experience and will definitely be back. Went to this little hidden gem for date night with my guy and was so pleased with our choice! We went on a Monday evening, and the service was amazing from the jump, we were greeted at the door and taken straight to a big, cozy booth that gave major romantic vibes. Now listen, I am not a gin fan. I usually run the other direction. But I'd heard so much about their famous dirty freezer martini that I was seriously debating giving it a shot. The waitress saw me hesitating and actually offered me a sample before I committed... love that! To my surprise, I kinda liked it. It was crisp, freezing cold (as promised), and went down smooth. So I went ahead and ordered one. Also, their drinks? Gorgeous. The ice cubes even have "BD" etched on them, which felt fancy in the best way. Now, once it warmed up a bit, that gin taste came creeping back, and yeah... nope. Not for me. I switched to a different drink, don't remember the name, but I liked it a lot more. My guy stuck with his classic old fashioned and it hit the spot. Food wise, we ordered a few things to share: the pretzel and dip to start, solid choice, then steak, shrimp, and the large mushroom for mains. The whole "season and cook it yourself" vibe was actually super fun, and everything turned out pretty tasty.... except the mushroom. No matter how we tried, it was just soggy and weird. Hard pass on that next time. One really cute touch? At the end of the night, they give you a postcard. You can keep it or fill it out and drop it in their snail mail box. I sent one to my grandma, who really enjoys things like that, and a week later she called me so excited. Totally made her day... and mine too, honestly. Overall? Such a cool, unique experience. I've had this place saved for a long time and I can't believe it took me so long to check it out! Came here for drinks during on of their jazz nights (Tuesdays & Thursdays from 7-9) and will definitely be back to try grilling our own steaks! It's a unique concept -- dive bar but make it upscale! Drinks are affordable and the ambiance is mellow but fun. The bartender made me a yummy mocktail with elderflower syrup & ginger beer. My partner got an old fashioned and it was strong -- he liked it! This is a great place for small groups (4 or less) or date night, highly recommend! read more

Finally made it here for happy hour, and it did not disappoint. I tried their famous freezer martini (with a caviar bump, of course) while my boyfriend ordered the Rosemary's Pim, which was light and refreshing. I'm not typically a martini drinker, but with all the hype--especially after being featured in a popular magazine--I was pleasantly surprised. It was smooth, crisp, and served in an ice-cold glass that made it even better. I also went with the classic all-beef hotdog from the happy hour menu. Nothing fancy, but the fun of cooking it yourself on the communal grill added to the experience. The vibe is very retro with fun art and posters around, and the staff was welcoming and helpful, especially when we mentioned it was our first visit. The butterscotch den is unlike any place ive ever been to, as soon as you walk in you are immediately sat and serviced (we had the sweetest server ever!!) . The food and drinks were amazing! Everything is ordered to cook yourself, i believe i ordered the portobello mushroom burger and my sister ordered the prawns. Ok so...this place is a whole vibe. We walked in, were warmly greeted by the staff and immediately seated (reservation). Then we looked over the menu and the staff helped walk us through it. Honestly it's pretty straightforward. Pick your steak (rib eye or ny) or sausage or hot dog. Pick a side or 5, which let's be honest is the best deal in town. Baked potato with sour cream bacon cheese and chives for under $6. Good luck finding that elsewhere. Salad $5. Yes please. So yeah the food comes out super fast because you grill it on the communal grill in the middle of the restaurant. Tons of seasonings (ketchup mustard steak rub, steak rub (vegan), a1, bbq, tapatio, and many more). So you grill your food. All stand around the grill socializing which is such a lost thing these days. You can interact with others and your own people and overall just have a blast. Ice cream and cake for desert? Sign me up. Non alcoholic drinks? Yup they have those too. Alcoholic drinks? You betcha. Their speciality. We ordered fondue (beer cheese), steak and pretzel. Full size hot dog ($4.50 only)? And NY strip, salad and potato. Mocktail and a Shirley temple, ice cream. And the total was under $100. I mean where else can you do that, socialize, good music, better atmosphere, and great wait staff. We even got a bubble machine surprise! They are a staple to Sacramento and has put Sacramento on the map, known for their Freezer Martini, Communal Grill, and Live Jazz Music (Tuesdays & Thursdays) They also won best startup bar in the country and been highlighted by many big names such as EaterSF and Imbibe for their famous Freezer Martini As much as I love their cocktails (especially for the price). They could have easily charge $16+ for a cocktail but most average ) $13 per cocktail, I equally love their food! No joke, I believe that they have some of the best burgers in Sacramento. Even though I have to cook the burger myself, I don't mind, and it opens up having conversations with other people. Bonus during Happy Hour (which is everyday) the burger is only $7! $7 for a good quality half pound burger! I can go on and on about how I love this place, cocktails, burgers, jazz music! The Butterscotch Den is an intimate, moody, kinda hipster-ish small bar tucked away off broadway. Just driving by you could miss it but try and stop by for a beautiful bar with great vibes. The inside is perfectly decorated, the bar area is gorgeous, and the atmosphere of great for a more chill night out or date night! Came here with a friend as we both hadn't been here yet and we enjoyed our time. They have various drink options and food, and we could see tables for dinning and an area where it seemed like patrons were cooking their own food! Very cool and their website says it is a "grill your own steakhouse" so I'm interested in trying it next time. The bar was packed on a Thursday night, we did wait a bit for one glass of wine while sitting at the bar but understandable considering how many people were there. Will definitely be back! read more

It took a while to get my drink; however, they were quite busy. I haven't been able to try the food, but it looked delicious. I will have to come back to try it out. It was a very very busy Friday night, so I understand that it was a chaotic night for the restaurant and staff! We did not have a reservation and put our names down on the waitlist, in which they said it would be 30-60 min wait time - we were completely expecting this. The wait ended up being 2 hours long and when they finally called us, they said we could come in then and had to be out within an hour, or wait at least another 30 mins and maybe have more time. We decided to go in for the hour and that was okay with us. We got our drinks, and ordered the beer cheese fondu with the pretzel and steak. The fondu had great flavor but was cold and the pretzel was also cold. We cooked the steak ourselves on the grill in the middle of the room which was a cool experience! Really amazing vibe here. I haven't been back since it was Arthur Henry's Supper Club. The bright sign remains! The hostess/waitress was amazing! An incredibly sweet individual who went above and beyond for our party of four. She explained the restaurant and the menu and had tailored recommendations based on our preferences. At the end of the meal, she also provided postcards we could fill out and they would stamp and ship out for us. How cute! We ended up with a mocktail that was raspberry forward, really incredible. I had a French Pearl, recommended based on the gin and the fact that I don't mind anise. We also had a bourbon cocktail and a beer. This really isn't the place for beer, smaller selection and I don't believe much is on tap. Their menu was simple but so good. This is a grilling place, where you are provided the raw materials and can cook to your liking. We especially enjoyed the burger, made from end pieces of their steaks, and the sausage which was very flavorful! The NY and ribeye were both great and the restaurant had plenty of seasonings on the side. We also ordered seasoned shrimp which were extremely good, cook time about 10 mins. The garlic bread was a little underwhelming, likely from being cooked in foil in the grill, but covered in fresh garlic! Overall, this is a very guy place, the grilling, the vibes. New favorite bar in town! Love the dark and cozy vibes and how absolutely decked out they have it for Christmas. Wall to ceiling decorations and delicious holiday drinks. My favorite is the Chrismapolitan - nice twist on the Cosmopolitan with some festive spices. I'm not sure what i expected from here but glad i got to visit. It's a small area which would be great for an evening for drinks and chats! We came for a date with no reservation but they were able to accommodate. The booth seating was facing the bar area and back toward to grill which was odd at first but i can see how it would work for the bar goers. The prices are what you would pay to purchase your own raw food so i appreciate they don't hike the prices for you to cook your own. I want to visit again to try more drinks and grill some dogs. read more

What comes with a happy hour steak for 899?
The steak, no sides, for you to season and grill.
My husband and I would like to go here for dinner on Thursday. But we only have a little over an hour for time. Is that enough to cook and eat?
I guess it all depends on what you get to cook and how you cook it. They do have smoked sausage that shouldn't take too long. The burgers are always good too. I think you should have enough time for most of the food. I do recommend the Bobby Burns…
Is there a chicken option or only steaks?
Steaks, burgers and a portabella mushroom option. They have shrimp cocktail as an appetizer and during summer they usually have hot dogs.
Do they have reservations on Saturdays? Because someone in the reviews said they don't, but on Yelp I was able to reserve a table for 2 on a Saturday.
We had a group event there. I believe our group was maybe 10 people. So I know for sure you can if it's a party. As far as reservations for two. I've only done a walk in and it was a long wait but I had cocktails while waiting
Is this reservation only?
No it is not. We usually have great luck on Sunday evenings. It gets packed on Friday and Saturday.
Does the meat come with anything? Or do you need to purchase sides separately?
You purchase sides separately however the cost is nominal. Best sides are the veggies and baked potato.
How are the grills cleaned between patrons? Asking because wire brushes can leave behind wire pieces that can cook into the food. Metal in my food - no thanks!

They do now! I wouldn't recommend for a bigger group. I think there are options for such but might not be ideal. Maybe a group of 6 max
