Well I came here for a Japanese Whiskey tasting. It was for the Kaiyo brand. I purchased the tickets earlier. I have only been here one time for a Yelp event. They are located as you enter Tipsy Putt at the top of the stairwell. You didn't have to be a member to participate. The place is a nice size and the bar area is pretty big. They have a lot of high end alcohol which is what I enjoy. The bar manager introduced himself as Tone. Very friendly. Staff amazing here. The bar was pretty full for this event. The rep from Kaiyo was amazing and told a great story about the company and their journey at making Japanese Whiskey. I loved it. At the end we even got a bottle of 7 year old Kaiyo to take home. This was a fantastic event and Trophy Club was solid on it. Just a quick note , they are having a tequila tasting in October for those interested keep an eye on their site.

I was introduced to Trophy Club by one of their bartenders that I met at a neighboring bar. He told me they are having a Kaiyo Japanese whiskey tasting, which I loved. So I went. The location is underneath a, what seems to be popular tipsy putt-putt place. The chick at the front letting people in was really cool. Kinda set the energy correctly from the start. I met with Tone, who I believe is the bar manager there (sorry if I got that wrong). I was immediately let into the bar where they were setting up for the tasting. As you can see in the photos, the bar almost gives speak easy vibes. The drinks were good, the presentation was good, the people were chill, the seating was comfy. The dimly lit seating area is a break from the harsh sunshine outside. This feels like a more modern flair of a 1920s era hangout spot for a good highball. The location is nearby other things as well. With my limited knowledge of the area, I can still say that if you're already out and about... I would recommend stopping in to check it out. Or if you're looking to visit a new spot, come here first and explore after. Thanks Trophy Club for the hospitality. Cheers

I had been here before, but I wanted to check it out since it's Club Blitzen for Christmas time . I know this is a speakeasy. I wish it was a little bit more hidden like a password or something you could easily just open the door and come in. Once inside, it was decorated really cute for Christmas The vibes were really chill. More adult /mature. The inside is pretty small and cozy near the restrooms they have more options for sitting which are a little bit more private. The set up is not good for large parties. We got lucky to find open seating at the bar because after that people kept coming in and they pretty much had to leave. There's no standing around at the bar. You either find a table or you gotta go. I was wondering what special drinks they had for the holidays they had I believe only four drinks on the menu. I wasn't really interested on some of the drinks on the menu so I asked the friendly mixologist to make me a special drink he asked me if I trusted him and I said yes. He made me a really good gin drink you could tell it was very crafty. He was super nice and attentive. At the end of the night when I received the bill, I saw that there was a charge for employees and benefits health it's just crazy. You know you get taxed so much in California and then there's so many other add-ons on our receipts nowadays . I was just wondering what that was about.? Overall I had a great time here my drink was delicious. Drinks are normal speakeasy prices I just don't know about more add-ons to the bill . Wish they had a little bit more drinks on the menu but overall we had a good time.

Fun! Love hidden bars! Tucked away at the Doco and inconspicuous! We were lucky to get a table and did not have a wait to get in. Great assortment of signature cocktails! Server was polite and very busy so there was a tad wait to get our delicious drink but worth it. ***Not connected at all to the restaurant just interesting to note...when we walked out the DOCO is so lighted up that it appeared to give an appearance of daylight?! IYKYK! So bizarre and hard to explain. The host said people are often confused by it when they walk out and have to do a double take! Regardless ~ of that weird phenomenon highly recommend this cool little place and look forward to going back!

Had a rally fun experience at this spot. It was my first time coming to the speakeasy. I found it very comfortable and calm. The service was fast. They came over to our groups quickly to grab drink orders and were very quick delivering the drinks. I would definitely recommend stopping in , if you can find it

We came here to juice up before a movie in DOCO, and boy was that the right move! The mixologist here (Ton I believe?) was a professional in every sense of the word. I asked for an old fashioned made with a specific rye, and when they didn't have enough in the current bottle he expertly blended it with another that worked perfectly. My partner ordered a tequila flight without realizing it was straight tequila. So he expertly crafted a delicious NA seltzer to help her out. I asked for a gin cocktail since the menu was lacking, and he not only introduced me to a delicious new gin cocktail, but also let me taste the gin separately! Finally I had the "abuelita" hot chocolate cocktail beverage to close out the night, and it was perfect. On top of that we ordered sliders and truffle mac n cheese from the kitchen next door, and it was all delicious. This is the kind of expertise and service I expect from a place like this, and I was not disappointed!

Visited on a random Wednesday and I am happy to say I would come back to try other drinks. Drink: - (5/5) Life Ain't Pear (Drink on the right) - Absolutely delicious, especially for people who don't like the taste of alcohol. Its smooth and easy to drink, one you'll want to sip and enjoy. As the menu says, it has a velvety feel, kind of like the foam on a cappuccino. However, you'll definitely taste the spice in this one, which isn't always the case with spiced drinks. Would come back for this drink. - Soda Water (Drink on the left) - Just an ordinary soda water with a lime to garnish. Ambiance: (4/5) The ambiance on a Wednesday at 7 pm was decent but it felt a bit too bright, which took away from the intimate, speakeasy vibe. The cleaning solution scent was also noticeable, which is good for cleanliness, but the mix with the alcohol smell was a bit off-putting. Note, to get into the speakeasy, you must first go through the Tipsy Pub and speak with a hostess at the front, who will then grant you entry.

I love how they always have different decor and drinks. Bartenders were super friendly as well.

A Speakeasy Worth Seeking Out Trophy Club is one of those rare finds that feels like you're in on a secret--and you kind of want to keep it that way. From the moment you step in, the vibe is pure magic. Craft Drinks: The cocktails are top-tier. Thoughtfully crafted, beautifully presented, and packed with flavor. Whether you're into smoky mezcal, herbaceous gin, or a bold bourbon blend, the bartenders here know how to deliver something memorable. ‍ Speakeasy Charm: Hidden behind an unassuming entrance, the speakeasy aesthetic is spot-on. Dim lighting, plush seating, and a moody elegance that makes you feel like you've time-traveled into a cooler era. Good Vibes & Ambiance: What really sets Trophy Club apart is how the atmosphere evolves throughout the night. Early evening is intimate and relaxed, perfect for conversation. Later on, the energy picks up with music and a lively crowd, but it never feels overwhelming. It's like the space has its own rhythm. Great Price Point: For the quality of the drinks and the overall experience, the prices are surprisingly reasonable. You're getting a luxury-level night without the sticker shock. If you're looking for a place that nails the balance between sophistication and fun, Trophy Club is it. I'll definitely be back--and bringing friends who appreciate a good cocktail and even better vibes.

Perfect Tuesday night outing with friends. The service was amazing for the last Tuesday open for the season. My friends and I ventured here for small bites and drinks and this place did not disappoint. They offered two flat bread pizza selections and my table enjoyed both. I had the bbq chicken and a friend had birria, both great options. For drinks I had the batter up which included a shot of whiskey and a beer for $10. The whiskey was smooth the beer was fresh and the deal was too good to pass up. Can't wait to return for a round of mini golf

Surprised by the cuteness on the way to the restroom!

Drinks were fun and yummy. Although I do not like sweet drinks (from their Club Blitzen menu), they had options for my sour taste! Well, not too sour. My girlfriends loved their sweeter drinks. Service was great! Wish I would remember our server, but she was great! And my favorite part of my experience, besides spending time with my three girlfriends, was the warmth and cozy feeling I felt as soon as I walked in. The Christmas decor was lovely, but even without it, I'm sure it doesn't lose its charm.

Trophy Club isn't your usual speakeasy. Located in Sacramento in DOCO area (and adjacent to Tipsy Putt) it transforms for holidays like Halloween! They go all out with the decorations and you are immediately channeling haunted mansion vibes. They have signature creepy cocktails like a purple blackberry margarita (with a bit of a spicy twist). For the special occasion, they have a local medium, Juila, providing psychic/tarot/palm readings. So m

They have a great selection of gin, rum, champagne, and whiskey, and I often lean on the staff for drink suggestions because they're really good at recommending something you might not normally order. A few times now they've pointed me toward a drink that ended up being a hidden gem. I've been here a few times and it's always a great time whether you're catching up with friends or doing a date night. The food is also surprisingly good and pairs well with the cocktails. It is definitely on the pricier side, but that's part of the experience. Also, because the space is small and intimate, reservations fill up quickly and they do require a deposit, which goes toward your final bill. Final verdict: absolutely worth it.

I remember from the video they said this was considered a "bartenders bar",the kind of spot that that bartenders and workers in the industry would hangout after their shifts-I liked the sound of that. Walking up to where I thought the bar was located,it was kinda funny because it was just an innocent looking blue door with the words "Cocktail" along the side-doesn't look like much at all,I'd imagine I've walked by this place many times without thinking of ever going in-that was changing this time. When I walked in I 100% knew I was stumbling upon something special-it was a tiny place but it was overflowing with energy, not many booths in this bar and it may be the smallest bar I've ever been to but it felt special.Looking at the clientele I felt like I was with my people,it was so cool in there. This is the kind of place I would take my wife and any of my friends before a special night out and be it a dinner or a concert or a production at Safe Performing Arts Center and feel like it would set the right vibe for the night. Looking over the menu, they had some very interesting looking drinks, the wife went with a French 75($12.00)and I went with a Pecan Brown Sugar Old Fashioned($16.00)The bartenders are very friendly and super personable and really took their time and took pride in their drinks-I had never had an Old Fashioned quite like that one,but it went down super smooth-I loved i-I look forward to going there again asap. A coupe of things about this bar-they do only have 1 unisex bathroom,it was very clean. Also this place is so old school that they are a "Cash-Only " bar. They do have an atm in the bar in case you forget your cash. They have a big fish tank behind the bar that really put the room together nicely-I liked it a lot. In closing,if you ever find yourself in the Ice Blocks part of midtown and want to experience an awesome bar that feels very unique-head on down to Frank and have a drink or two-you won't regret it-I think I may have found my new favorite bar in all of Sacramento. You'd be forgiven for thinking you were in the wrong place or about to make a mistake and put yourself into a sketchy place. We looked around for a more "realistic" entry way not knowing the most realistic entry way is one that looks like a back door to a closed vacuum or furniture storefront. That's exactly the point. You knock. Immediately, the door opens. A man in a cowboy hat looks you over. He doesn't wear a name tag. He doesn't need one. He asks, "You have something to say?" If you've done your homework, and say the right thing, the door stays open. You're in. I do not know what happens if you do not have the word. What follows is less a bar and more a pocket of time. The interior is small but well conceived. The bar sits directly at the entrance, flanked by a few standing guests and several small tables. Beyond that, the space opens up into a lounge with seating for six to eight, and a longer bench-style area for a dozen or so. The walls are dark, the lighting low. It's the kind of place that feels like it remembers what Prohibition was, even if most of us never lived it. It felt like walking onto a movie set where we might be extras, and the main characters would enter and play out a scene. It was a perfect example of a speak easy in full swing. Even the glassware was legitimate. The decor is intentional. Books tucked into corners. Stags mounted on the wall. Nothing feels store-bought or trendy. It's immersive without trying too hard. The seats were not overstuffed contemporary types nor were the tables or even foot stools. They all looked like they came from a speak easy back in the day. About the only thing that did not look like the real thing were the patrons, as they were dressed casually, and of course the iPhones. I suppose that would have caused quite a ruckus during prohibition! Conversations are constant, layered over each other and laughter. It gets loud, but not obnoxious. There's a rhythm to the space that holds. My suggestion is to not go at 7pm on a Saturday and hope to get a prized table, couch or seat. Now, to the drinks. House Divided serves anything you ask for, but they lean into the theme. Classic cocktails done right. Throwbacks with historical lean. Creative new entries like lavender martinis that aren't just gimmicks. Each drink feels made by someone who knows what they're doing and takes pride in the process. This is not vodka-soda speed bar territory. It's craft, and it shows. I did not see a bottle of ocean spray anywhere, but what I did see were large glass bottles labeled with the juice or concoction held within. The little details are obvious! If I were to translate my usual framework:    *   Ambiance and Service: 4 stars (it can get loud and if you are here to have a conversation it will be difficult)    *   Quality: 5 stars- I had a simple drink - vodka and cranberry. With something "special" that the tender added. I don't know what it was, but the taste was wonderful! Way different than my standard go to!    *   Value? That depends on whether you're measuring price per ounce, or the fact that you just got to walk through a green door into another world. But in reality, 5 stars. Do I wish for more seating? Yes. Perhaps more quiet? Yes. But if it were those things, would it be the same? No. My guess is going on a Saturday at 7pm is going to be a bit crowded, and loud. That's my fault, and testament to their quality. Next, I found the staff to be great! Even the doorman gave it character, cowboy hat and boots and all! Great experience!

Unfortunately I am not on social media and that's where you're supposed to find it. Bummer! I decided to use my own password. It worked and we entered the inner sanctum. It was a cool, smallish place with nice decor. The bar was the first thing we saw. I looked around to see a few tables and couches to the left. It was pretty early and there were only a few people there so we got a cozy little table in front of a velvety couch. I went to the bar where a burly tattooed OG bartender greeted me. I ordered an old fashioned and a raspberry lemon drop. My old fashioned was done very well. I'm on an old fashioned kick right now and love to try them at different places that look like they know how to make them. This one was really good. My friend wasn't so keen on her lemon drop, saying the lavender was a bit overpowering. We had another round and this time she had something different that she enjoyed. My second old fashioned was just as good as the first. It was getting later and more people happened to have the password and it was getting crowded. We were done, paid the tab, which wasn't bad considering how most speakeasy's can be pretty pricy. Overall, it was a great experience, the place was nice, friendly, and the drinks were done well. Give it a shot. Find the password, or use your own if you dare!

I got a 10 piece maple hot order of party wings - ALL FLATS- of course, because what other way is there to eat chicken wings!!! Duh!!! :-) Upon first bite they were delicious! First of all they were hot and fresh and if you know me, you know that's important ! They were Fried to perfection, seasoned all the way through and had just the right amount of maple syrup balanced out with spicy heat. OMG the best chicken wings I think I've ever tasted in my life I'm not normally a chicken wing person, meaning I don't usually eat chicken wings. But something about these wings has me hooked! I will definitely go back! I'm not usually in the downtown area, but I will for sure make a special trip to Bach just for the Maple hot chicken wings!!!

The funky murals and decor always put a smile on my face. Muhammad Ali is rad. I will forever love this place. The chicken is unapologetically perfect. The burger is unabashedly what I needed. This will be my place. Come by and say Hi!
