Lava flow: Dark Rum, Strawberry Puree, Lime, Simple Syrup, Mango Nectar, Dole Whip, & Vanilla Bitters

This place was magical! As a big disney fan, I loved the atmosphere and world building with all the detailed decorations. It's right under Stage Nine, so it's very fun to shop around and take in all the disney energy, including the amazing art gallery and memorabilia right before you go into the speakeasy door. As someone who loves fruity drinks and tiki bars, the lava flow I had was honestly mid. The lime definitely overpowered the drink and didn't taste much like the mentioned tropical flavors. I thought it would be similar to the usual smoothie or that the dole whip would make it yummy and creamier. It was mostly ice and separated textures with a couple sips of sour juice. Not worth the $25 with automatic gratuity. I'd opt for another drink.

We came for trivia night. First time here. It was a cool place and the decorations were pretty amazing. We didn't have food but the drinks were good and loved the show they put on for the drinks. The service was great!! This is an experience you gotta go!!

Had an absolutely incredible experience at Hawthorne's Hideout! This is definitely an experience you want to do at least once if you're a Disney fan and/or movie buff. Our host had the best energy and led us through a spectacular experience. You get two drinks with your purchase as well as the option to order extra food/snacks. We got the egg rolls and they were great! My spouse really enjoyed the cocktails he got and thankfully the bartenders made a special rum and coke drink for me since I have an intolerance to fruity drinks. The ambiance felt like I had stepped into Disneyland and it was a night for the books!

I have to say, Hawthorne's Hideout really blew me away with an experience that's hard to even put into words. It felt less like grabbing a drink and more like being taken on this incredible journey from start to finish. The production quality in there is just wild, and honestly, no picture I took could ever do justice to how it actually feels to be in that space. You can tell they put so much heart into every tiny detail, making the whole vibe feel completely magical and unlike anywhere else I've been lately. The tiki drinks were absolutely wonderful and arrived with the kind of amazing presentation that makes you want to just stare at them for a minute before diving in. We also snacked on some great little bites that were the perfect pairing for the tropical flavors. Everything about the night felt so intentional and polished, yet it still had that warm, enchanting energy that made it feel like a real escape. It was easily one of those standout nights where the atmosphere and the drinks come together to create something truly special.

The bottom line: If you want the magic and adventure of an exclusive Club 33 like Disney experience in the form of a Tiki Room, this is your place. Think Enchanted Tiki Room meets Jungle Cruise and toss in tasty drinks that are themed so well you'll be humming the Raiders March as you enter the secret entrance! This place is so buzzing with fun you'll be very giddy and excited like you're walking down Main Street as you walk down the spiral staircase. Don't waste any more time looking for clues and book your experience now, I can assure you there will be a wait after word spreads quickly because even Walt himself would fancy a 1942 Mai Thai here.

Overall experience was amazing. Wasn't sure what to expect but it was very entertaining from start to finish. Presentation was spot on and the jokes flowed with the dialogue seamlessly. Drinks were delicious and the tiki mugs kept them ice cold the whole time. Didn't order any food so I can't compliment on it. Bar staff were top notch and everyone was very friendly. Made for a great time. Would highly recommend to everyone.

“The ambiance is super cool and tiki but with a twist of sci-fi, fantasy, and nods to a ton of different classic movies.”

Fantastic Spot To "Pregame" Shows @ Goldfields Next Door…read more SITREP We descended upon the Tack Room an hour before our show for "Ally The Piper" (both the classical AND heavy metal bagpiper extraordinaire) began her show! THE SETUP Goldfields is a charming, rustic country-western stylized saloon that serves up beer at good prices. But we weren't interested in beer and wanted quality cocktails. Hence, our pivot next door to the Tack Room! QUALITY COCKTAILS & DRINKS! The Tack Room specializes an amazing array of martinis, bourbons, and other deLISH cocktail drinks at really really reasonable prices! So this was an excellent choice to chill, thus avoiding the tremendous *noise pollution* we were immediately subjected to upon entering Goldfields an hour later for our show. THE LOWDOWN This is a quality bar with plenty of comfortable seating to relax and have quiet, intimate conversations. So if you and your later friend(s) want some privacy, cocktails at a reasonable price, etc., this is a good way to go.

It's themed around horse racing, but not in an overbearing or... tacky way. The mixologist was delightful and had great recommendations, the lights were dim, and the drinks were all on point. The highlight was the espresso martini, which is among the best I've had. It was reminiscent of the one I had at the Starbucks Roastery in NYC, which is high praise. The other coffee drink that surprised me was the Revolver. I always forget about what a good pairing orange and coffee is, and I'll be taking this one back home with me to try! Every other drink we tried was delicious in some unique way. The Pho drink was savory and surprising, the New York Sour was rich and flavorful, and the Practical Move was refreshing. Will definitely return here after dinner to sip an espresso martini for dessert!

A favorite of theirs is The Snug; they thought we wouldn't be able to get in but thanks to a concert nearby they had free tables. It's primarily a cocktail bar, but I stuck with a beer. The decor is an awesome mix of contemporary, brick, old west, and 20s. It was a happy clientele too, with what seemed like a younger post-workday crowd. The server was also fantastic. If you like cocktail bars with character, this is worth the visit.

Snug is themed around a modernized interpretation of an English hunting lodge--it's dark, moody, and elegant. It has a charming front patio that is made quaint by the high walls and an outdoor fountain separating you from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the bars in the area. Upon entering, you are transported into a dimly lit romance story. The Snug specializes in delightful cocktails that will wow your taste buds! Their menu is both seasonal and rotates regularly so it's a fun treat to swing by and find out what their currently making. One of my favorite recurring items is what they call a Hoosker Doo, which is often a spirit and amaro or apperitif. You can't go wrong with the Carribean Princess! Definitely consider Snug on your next date night or want something a bit different!

But everything was great, as they provide what you need for a delicious meal. Ambiance- dark and cozy. They have an actual bar which is away from the grill for those choosing to imbibe and go. We got introduced to The Butterscotch Den by a couple of lawyers who evidently know the 'hood. Been a while since I've lived/worked in town so they are a great resource to fun places like this. Drinks are delicious. I ordered a couple different sauces to go with our large steak which we split. Even having split the steak, we brought some home. You cook your own so be okay with possibly not sitting the entire time. On the side of the grill are various accoutrements for your steak. Assorted flavored salts as well as regular salt and pepper were included with the experience. You could also order compound butter for a small fee but we didn't. Might want to try a much more budget friendly hot dog or even a sausage next time. Try it out for happy hour! Very friendly drink list.

My first time here I came just for drinks with a friend and I enjoyed it so I brought my family back to try them out for dinner. Service was painfully slow. I mean 20 minutes to get drinks in an empty restaurant. The bartender prioritized the patrons sitting at the bar versus the ones ordering from tables. I watched are new people were served at the bar while still waiting for our drinks. Which mind you was a beer, 2 sodas and a whiskey sour, so nothing crazy or time consuming. We ordered our food and it was delivered quickly, as one would assume since you're cooking it yourself. They did forget my shrimp but all good. The steak quality wasn't that great, 3 of the 4 steaks were tough and chewy. There is only one communal grill so keep an eye your food because someone tried taking my shrimp. It can also get full so you have sit around til you can find an empty spot on the grill for your food. Overall, I'd come back for happy hour cocktails but we'll skip the dinner service.
