I was here on a Tuesday late afternoon, a good amount of people were in. I got a wine and a sandwich. Great customer service but unfortunately they do not have mulled wine at the moment.

I've been here a couple of times and love this place. I came here in the afternoon and there were plenty of seats. Of course I sat at the bar to gain the full experience. I'm still new to wine and the bartenders recommended amazing white and red wines, and educated me about their concept on natural wines. I also ordered the bread and butter which tasted amazing! They have some of the best sourdough breads I have tried. Would highly recommend. Overall great service, food, and drinks. Love that you can choose to sit at the bar, booth inside, or they have an outdoor patio as well.

Came here with a few friends during the week. The bartender was very friendly and let us know that all the wines and drinks change frequently so if you came here one week they likely have a whole different menu the next. I'm a riesling fiend so I wanted to see what they had, their bottle from Germany was delicious no too sweet and the perfect balance, of dry and sweetness. The vibes in this bar were really nice too, mellow and nice mood lighting, a good night out with friends. I definitely recommend this spot!

This wine bar is so cute and perfect for date night or a small group of friends (2-4 people). The bar is intimate and moody on the inside, beautiful wall full of wine selections, and cute seating by the back wall, the window, or at the bar. The staff are very friendly and can help you figure out what wine to try. They have some outdoor seating as well which is nice and great if you come with more than just one other person. My friend and I tried some white wine and we were happy with the recommendation give to us. I'll definitely be back to try their cocktails and the food they have on their menu.

Very intimate space with wonderful wines. It is a very small space; however, I thought it was beautifully decorated and very welcoming. We were greeted at the door and offered to sit whenever we'd like. We sat at the bar and had a glass of wine. I think this is the perfect spot for date night. The wine selection is also great and the bartender allowed us to taste a few before deciding on a glass. The full menu can be found using the QR code on their posted menus.

Unreal experience at RSB. Came in with a small group (6) and were so well served despite a very large party outside. The cheeses, phenomenal. The wine, top shelf. The staff, friendly funny and kind. I'm not a sac local and I'm wishing we had a place like this closer to me! Great for high end after works aperitivo.

Arrived at open. Bartender was genuinely a people person from the moment we arrived. Even as we sat playing cards and enjoyed our wine and food, it was great watching him interact and entertain all of the guests at the bar top. Great vibe, loved all the wine we tasted and were blown away by the cheese and bread. Great kickstart to our Sunday wine stroll!

Great cozy ambiance. The bartender was super helpful and talked through the wine selection with us. I really enjoyed the grilled cheese with caramelized onions.

I love stopping by this little spot whenever I visit Wild Heart Beauty. It's a great place for small plates and drinks. I don't drink alcohol so I can't comment on their alcohol selection but their non alcoholic options are great. They even have a service window for Wild Heart Beauty. It's a very cute, intimate place for getting together with friends or a relaxed date night. Pros: it's a vibey, relaxed atmosphere and the staff have always been so friendly and check in often. My favorite is the cheese whiz. Their bread is perfect, not too hard and light. We usually order the cheese whiz with their meat plate. Cons: parking can be hard to find. When it gets busy during the colder months, indoor seating can be limited.

Venetian Spritz, pickled plate, and cherry NA drink

Stumbled upon this place after everything was closed for Easter and it was a pleasant surprise! I don't drink and I got a cherry NA drink that Trevin recommended and it was super good! My girlfriend got a Venetian spritz and really enjoyed it! We also got a pickle plate to share and everything was prickly and delicious yet not too overpowering. If you're in the area and want to chill and have a drink and a snack this is a nice option!

It's been almost a year since we went to Ro Sham Beaux and we were eager to go back on a date night. We arrived around 5:50 and were able to snag two bar stools. It was pretty busy, but for groups of 2 there was some place to squeeze, but by 6:30 it was full besides the outdoor seating. We ordered the cheez whiz and were able to get it off the happy hour menu. I started with a sparkling while they chilled a pet nat that I was eager to try. The cheez whiz is house made whipped manchego and parm on crostini and it's to die for. I probably could have eaten 10 of them...but opted to have 1.5 out of the 3. They're open to doing half a glass of wine as well which is nice because then you can try a bunch of things! If I lived closed and didn't have kids at home, I think I'd likely be here once a week!

red wine flight

Decided to go to a wine bar with a couple friends, we decided on ro sham beaux and really loved it. Beautiful ambiance, really friendly staff, and great wine. We got the red wine flight for $22 each, which came with three wines: * vino rosso - from angelo negro, piedmont, 2022. organic and unfiltered, some sour notes but really liked it * la combe du temps - from domaine du temps, languedoc, 2018. made from syrah and grenache * cain cuvée - from cain vineyards, napa valley. blend of 2014 and 2015 vintages. looked it up online and found that the blend includes merlot, cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc, and petite verdot. really loved this one! it was super delicous, a little bit of a darker flavor. I loved the whole flight but would just get a glass of this if I went back. And for snacks we ordered: * cheese whiz - made of whipped parmesan and manchego on a crostini, topped with an olive. costs $4 during happy hour. pretty yummy, came with three pieces. * bread with butter (pain au levain) - a sizeable portion of bread with some spruced up butter, also very good * salted chips - very self explanatory, they were just potato chips lol Overall the whole experience was great. The guy behind the bar was really funny, the lighting was perfect, the wine was delicious. Definitely recommend for anyone in the area.

Such a fun wine bar, and such a funky curated wine list! I love that the list is short and rotates. Not helpful when a wine bar has lists a mile long. I was pleasantly surprised by how yummy all the snacks were given there really isn't a kitchen (from what I can see - the spot is quite small). I had a glass of bubbly then a "chilled red" that was a deep red rose from Spain. Never tried something like that before and it was delicious with the summer heat. I'd like to return!

This hidden gem offers an experience that's unlike anything else in the city. The setup is simple but charming: you literally walk up to a window and order your wine. I believe it's one ring for white, two for red, and three or four for sparkling--don't quote me on that, but it adds a playful, old-world vibe that makes the whole experience memorable. The Wine Window is affordable, laid-back, and surprisingly quaint. It's the kind of place where the ambiance, the people, and the energy make it feel more like an experience within an experience--not just a drink stop. I had the chance to chat with John, the owner, who shared a bit of the backstory. He previously owned a full wine room nearby, but when the pandemic hit, he had to pivot. Instead of calling it quits, he leaned into a smaller, more intimate concept inspired by wine windows in Europe. Honestly, I think the scale makes it even better. The outdoor patio is perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine while people-watching on L Street, and yes, there's even a restroom available (a rare but very appreciated amenity for this type of setup). If you find yourself downtown, do yourself a favor--swing by The Wine Window, have a chat with John, and enjoy a unique Sacramento experience.

The Pulpo (octopus) had a beautiful presentation, but only ate half of it, as it tasted just a bit fishy.
