WHAT WE GOT: Korean beef Frachos, Wings, fried pickles and bourbon barrel cake (not pictured). I'd come back for just the beef frachos. Wings were alright they are double battered so i love the crust but flavor is always lacking for me. I'm thinking just not a dry rub kind of gal. Would come back to give the wings another chance! Our family got the pickles to try since we aren't big fans. They didn't mention anything special, but they were good. Bourbon barrel cake will always have me coming back. Warm! crunchy but in a good way and not too sweet. SERVICE: Our server was sweet, i should do better at getting their names. They let us sit outside too when i'm pretty sure they stopped seating people out there. She was knowledgeable, checked in on us and made sure we always had what we needed. My favorite Eureka is in Hawthorne but I no longer live in SoCal. My first order was a philly cheesesteak sandwich it was heavily salted. I figured it was just an off day. What I ordered today was their tried and true Napa Chicken Sandwich with a $3 upcharge for tater tots. The chicken sandwich typically comes on a nice loaf of bread that is split in half. This sandwich came on a hamburger bun, was a lot smaller and the tater tots are old! Lol wth. Also there's no pesto on the sandwich just mayonnaise wtf! read more

I've been to Eureka a couple of times, and the vibe is always great. They have a ton of whiskey options too. The Old Fashioned was just okay, but the Eureka Sour, their version of a whiskey sour, tasted amazing. For food, the Black & Blue Mushroom Burger is really good if you don't mind blue cheese. If you want something more traditional, the Double Smash is a great choice. Either way, do yourself a favor and upgrade to the truffle fries. I've tried the mac and cheese balls, which were good, but those truffle fries are just amazing and easily the best replacement. read more

Where to start....this Eureka! location is in the Fair Oaks/Arden area next to Coldstone, Tasty Dumplings and Urban Plates. The interior is nice and open and it has a great outdoor patio area. My family and I came here on Sunday for lunch and there were open tables so we didn't think we would need to wait. We checked in and the hostess did in fact tell us it would be a 10-15 minute wait - we were fine with that since we had time to kill. We were seated in the nice patio area and it took about 5 minutes or so before someone took our drink order. We ordered a Bloody Mary, a beer and a Dirty Soda. It took well over 30 minutes for our drinks to arrive, even after our waiter said they were a bit backed up. We ordered Brussels Sprouts as an appetizer that came out quick...and cold. They tasted okay, but definitely needed salt. For food, we ordered the Al Pastor Fish Tacos, Kids Cheeseburger (without the cheese) and the Black and Blue Mushroom Burger with added bacon. All the food came out late as well and there was cheese on my daughter's burger so they remade another one. I was also not a fan of the Al Pastor Fish Tacos - the fish was very bland and I didn't even finish my plate. My husband's Black and Blue Mushroom Burger was by far the best thing and we ended up splitting the burger because it was huge. We had to ask for water as well. At one point, I called over the Manager and let him know we had been waiting at least 30 minutes for drinks and also another table had received their food before us even though we ordered ahead of them. He apologized and said he would check on it for us. While the Manager did make things right, I am still giving 3 stars for the food that I did not enjoy unfortunately. Overall, they do have a lot of specials going on right now like the $13 lunch menu, kids eat free when you order a full size meal and they also do $10 Smashburgers on Wednesdays. We used to go to the Roseville location but so ecstatic that there is a location here and close to home! Food is fresh and delicious. "Hoppy hour" and even their lunch specials are such great deals. Some of our favs are the Mac an' cheese balls, the wings, and the crispy glazed Brussels sprouts. Good variety of cocktails, mocktails and craft beer on tap. The "Chef's Choice" burger is rotating every month and this August it was the Crunchwrap inspired burger and wow it was so different and delicious can't wait to see next month's burger. I have not had anything I didn't like here. Also love that this place is open pretty late since most places around the area close earlier. Service is always great from the Host to the servers and managers. We came here for my dad's bday with a large party and Natalia was our server and was great! We came in today and Erica C. welcomed us joyfully and recommended many things that I haven't tried or thought to look at. which was a nice touch. So happy to have a Eureka! closer to home. New addition to this restaurant row along FO Blvd. Although Eureka! is a chain, it doesn't have the "chain feel." What I like is that they also have outdoor patio seating in the back! I have been to their Roseville location which has an entirely different feel. This location feels a bit more relaxed. Came here to check it out and coincidentally on Tuesdays the wine is 50% off, even bottles (only if they offer wines by the glass). One of my favorites is the Daou cabernet from Paso Robles. The interior is modern with subdued lighting and this place is so new you can still smell the wood furnishings. There is a bar area as well as an indoor seating area. The cuisine features burgers, sandwiches and salads. I spied beer battered onion rings and so of course I had to try them. Crispy, but not as delicate as I would have liked, they still hit the spot. Our server was on point. Attentive but not too annoying, she made sure we were well looked after. Only open since July 20, 2026, I'll be sure to be back to try out their other menu items! read more

The new place is very beautiful inside and out. We really needed a restaurant like this in the Arden area. They've only been opened a few weeks, they're doing good it seems! We went for lunch, service was good, food was good (had the lunch special fish and chips and regular size Philly cheesesteak), but it was interesting that the lunch meal had an enormous amount of fries (not complaining there) and the Philly cheesesteak didn't have a good portion of meat and it was small with only a small amount of fries. Been a fan since visiting in Fresno so I was excited when they opened in Sacramento. Inside is clean, bright, and modern. Outdoor seating is available too. I've been to another Eureka and we did not have a great experience so I was a little reluctant to try this one. I called to make a reservation for 5 inside because it was incredibly hot that day. When we got there we were seated right away. The parking in the shopping center is not great so my husband was parking the car and I was trying to sit down with my kids. They were having a bit of a meltdown and the waitress came by and asked if there was anything she could do to help, it was so nice. I ordered drinks for the kids and they brought our kids snacks right away, a plate with oranges and carrots for all 3 of them. I don't know why more places don't do this, it easily helped calm them down. The "hoppy" hour here is great - I've had the spa margarita and the wild child cocktails. Both delish and would recommend! We really like the nachos and the fried pickles too! After getting some appetizers we ordered our meals - they have a kids menu so we got Mac n cheese and chicken bites. Each kids meal comes with fries or fruit too which was nice. I ordered the Caesar salad as a wrap and my husband ordered the jalapeño egg burger. Both were good, not the best wrap or burger we've ever had but we'd order again! They just opened so we had a few issues with the correct side for the kids, the pickles not coming out until the end, but they were apologetic. I think they're truly still working out some kinks. Is this the most gourmet meal in Sacramento? Probably not, but if you are looking for a good happy hour or a place to take kids I would definitely recommend. I'm sure we will be back! read more

Ummm I know they're new so I'm hoping they take this review as constructive criticism. The food looks great in pictures but is in fact mid. I spent about 70$ on fish & chips, fried Mac n cheese balls, grilled corn & carrot cake. The only thing I haven't tried is the cake. The fish tastes good nice and crispy but the tartar sauce has no relish/pickle pieces. It tastes like MAYO with the essence of relish. A sensory nightmare I was seriously gagged how can you mess up tartar sauce. Also didn't come with vinegar. The sauces didn't come with lids for the containers so when I picked it up it spilled all over the lemons Nevermind the fact that tartar sauce shouldn't be runny. No utensils. No option to add sauces. The Mac and cheese balls we're surprisingly mild tasting. I expected seasoned batter something savory. Chunks of bell pepper in mac n cheese is a weird choice. This (pictured) is considered extra cheese and green onion on the Mac n cheese bites btw. The fries we're not as advertised. You can see one flake of green it's almost comical. They were bland and unseasoned and then there were a few fries overly covered in just salt very odd (smash burger has better fries and they're consistent with the advertised photos). Didn't come with ranch or ketchup. There was another sauce not sure what it was supposed to be, some kind of aoli maybe soooo basically more MAYO. The grilled corn also tasted unseasoned and drowning in what I can only presume to be the juice from the canned corn it smelt exactly like bong water (I do not even smoke). It was literally like I made it at home or something with a can of corn and whatever I could find in my cabinet. And to top it off it looked like they drizzled MAYO on it. In the photos you'll see they really skimped on the topping for the corn. I think I got a singular bite of something that resembled cheese. Honestly for 70 bucks this was a total disappointment & I didn't finish anything. I'm writing all this out to say that they can't say they don't know now. While the wait staff was a bit slow, we chalked that up to the restaurant being fairly new. I ordered the spicy fried chicken sandwich and it was wonderful and filling. The large piece of chicken was moist and had a nice buffalo taste to it. My partner ordered the Eureka! American burger and really enjoyed it as well. The restaurant is very nice inside and has a large outdoor area (even bigger than indoors). There's also a full bar, which explains why the restaurant is open until midnight. Bar **Not Disability-Friendly -- Stay Away From This Location** **Not All Disabilities Are Visible -- Service Dogs Come in All Sizes** Unfortunately, my wife and I had a very disappointing experience at Eureka! on Fair Oaks Blvd. in Sacramento involving **my service dog**, and based on how I was treated, I would not consider this location friendly or welcoming to people with disabilities who rely on service animals. We entered the bar area around 9:00 p.m. with my extremely small, approximately 3-pound service dog safely inside a carrier. She is trained to alert me for seizures. The bartender, Tory, immediately looked at my dog and told us that the dog could not be in the bar area before even asking whether she was a service dog. When we explained that she was in fact my service dog, Tory responded, **"In a carrier?"** with a facial expression and tone that made me feel as though she was questioning whether such a small dog inside a carrier could possibly be a legitimate service animal. Yes, my service dog is small. That does not make her any less important to me or any less trained to perform the task I rely on her for. What makes a dog a service animal is the work or task the dog is trained to perform, not whether the dog weighs 3 pounds or 100 pounds. We then asked to speak with a manager. Manager Jen came out and, instead of correcting the situation, told us that **even if the dog was a service dog, she needed to be outside or on the floor outside**. As the person with the disability who actually depends on this dog, that response was extremely concerning and made me feel unwelcome. My dog was quiet, safely contained, under control, and bothering absolutely no one. We ultimately decided to leave because I no longer felt comfortable staying somewhere where both a bartender and a manager appeared to have such little understanding of service animals and the people who depend on them. What bothered me most was the immediate assumption and judgment. Nobody should have to prove that their disability is "real enough" simply because it is not visible or because their service dog does not fit someone else's idea of what a service dog should look like. **Not all disabilities are visible, and service dogs come in all sizes.** Based on the way I was personally treated, this location did not feel disability-friendly or welcoming to customers who depend on service animals. No person with a disability should be made to feel embarrassed, questioned, judged, or unwelcome because their disability is not obvious or because their service animal is small. Eureka! seriously needs to provide its staff and management with proper training regarding service animals, disability access, and respectful customer service. This was a very disappointing experience, especially because the entire situation could have been handled professionally from the beginning with proper education, respect, and basic courtesy. read more

The visit started out well. The hostess was very polite and welcoming. We were a party of four, and the restaurant was not very busy--approximately 50% full. After about 15 minutes, the hostess came by to check on us. We let her know that we were ready to order and asked about our server. She went to the back and returned, letting us know that our server would be right out. Unfortunately, a total of 25 minutes passed and our server still had not come to the table. At that point, we decided to leave. We spoke with the manager before leaving. He was polite, but his response felt somewhat indifferent. He explained that he had seen the hostess bringing us water and assumed we had already been taken care of. He offered to provide something to go, but at that point, we decided it was best to leave. That said, props to the hostess. She was attentive, aware of the situation, and genuinely tried to assist us. Her customer service was appreciated. Overall, the experience was disappointing, especially considering the restaurant was not particularly busy. My wife and both decided we wanted salads usually those transport well for delivery. I got the the Cob salad $23 and my wife got the southwest added steak for which came out to $31. So over $50 for salads. Thats fine im realistically know that I will have to pay for quality ingredients. But what we got was the smallest darn salads like they trying to save money on lettuce or something. I know restaurants got over head but come on! I just hate feeling ripped off. We went to the soft opening of the new Eureka location in Sacramento. It's a busy parking lot and parking can be a little challenging but it's not terrible. Service was great from start to finish. Great awareness by our server and other employees. They brought out small plates with small snacks for our girls while we waited for our food. The kitchen was running like a well oiled machine and the wait times were minimal and everything looked and tasted great. We started off with the dry rubbed chicken wings and the truffle fries. Both were fantastic. My wife had the fish tacos and loved them. I opted for the Cobb salad and steak frites. Both were stellar. My little one had a cheeseburger and tater tots and my oldest had the mac and cheese balls and street corn. She's becoming a tiny teenager and is becoming a bit of a pickier eater and absolutely loved everything. We ended with the carrot cake and key lime pie which everyone loved. My wife loved her iced tea and the girls loved their mocktail type drink they chose. They have a terrific beer and whiskey selection and even offer a monthly whiskey club that's currently sold out.
