I recommended this place to my friends and sisters and they all loved it. I was so happy they loved this place because it is really so cute and love supporting the restaurants in our city. We ordered the breakfast burrito, lox bagel, and the special raspberry mocha with oatmilk. I did bring my babies and this place is kid friendly which I so appreciate. I do miss the park outside though, hoping that reopens.

Avocado toast (5/5)

Such a wonderful breakfast/ brunch spot. We ordered the avocado toast, morning bun, and croissant. The coffee was really delicious. Ambiance is great, clean, so pretty! Fast and friendly service. We'll be back! I'm not sure why some places don't list their prices. It matters in my decision making.

Emile's Café in West Sacramento is an absolute gem! I dropped in not knowing what to expect. I ordered a matcha latte and an iced coffee with pistachio-cardamom syrup and both were phenomenal, not overly sweet. The café itself has that modern, minimalist vibe very clean with warm wood accents, it's a perfect balance of being able to be outdoors either for catching up with friends or getting some work done. The baristas were helpful and the service was fairly quick! Highly recommend checking this spot out.

Iced Vanilla Latte

Visited Emile's Cafe for the first time on a late weekday afternoon and had a great experience! All staff were friendly and welcoming. Super cute cafe with plenty of parking and outdoor seating located in the West Sacramento area. I ordered an iced vanilla bean latte with oat milk and it was delicious. You can absolutely tell they make their own vanilla bean syrup, which I love. I also ordered the peanut butter and honey sandwich. It was really good and glad I ordered it. They also a few other food options. The breakfast burrito appeared to be frequently ordered while I was there so I'll have to order that the next time . Can't wait to visit again when in the area! Highly recommend Emile's Cafe!

We came for brunch and noticed the ordering area was a bit small, but they have a spacious outdoor patio tucked behind the shop. When we arrived, there was a line, but we decided to wait since we had come all the way into West Sacramento. They also have their own private parking, which makes it really convenient. We ordered a latte, mocha, breakfast burrito, and Pullman toast. After ordering, they gave us a number and brought the food to our table, which was a nice touch. They use Temple coffee beans, and both drinks were smooth and satisfying. The figs paired beautifully with the toast, and the breakfast burrito was hearty and filling. Our toddler enjoyed both dishes and loved sitting outside. Overall, it's a lovely spot for brunch and definitely worth a visit.

Lox Bagel

On Saturday, my husband went to Emile's Cafe and came home with an indulgent spread of two delicious salted butterscotch and huckleberry lattes, a breakfast sandwich, breakfast burrito, lox bagel with forgotten bakery bagels (the best bagels in the area in my opinion), and a chocolate pastry of some sort. Wow, wow, wow. I've never had a huckleberry latte but it was fantastic, the bagel with lox was so fresh, the pastry was so flaky and buttery, and my husband loved the breakfast sandwich (which came with a sweet aioli and jalepeno jam that was so yummy) - he enjoyed the burrito too. On Sunday, I went myself to Emile's with two girlfriends and enjoyed some delicious jasmine green iced tea and a yoghurt parfait (the granola was freshly made and so good!) The owners have done such a great job not only with the amazing food and beverage selection, but vibe was so warm, friendly, and welcoming from the moment you walk in (probably because it's owned by 3rd generation West Sac locals - the same awesome owners as Whitey's!!).

Such a cute café! I love their sandwiches‼Each one was so delicious and unique.:) They use seasonal ingredients, so the menu changes based on what's fresh, which makes every visit a little different and fun!

Since this cafe is locally owned, we decided to give it a try. The prices were pretty steep and the menu is limited. They are working in a tight space which explains the limited menu. Since it is small space it is also very stuffy and hot which made it harder to enjoy the drinks - even iced. We ordered the peach latte but there wasn't any sign of peach flavoring. The sandwiches are standard - nothing stood out except the price. There is plenty of parking so that's a plus. Staff are also pleasant which is always a perk. They have merch for sale but it's just hats and shirts with the name of the cafe on it.

Cortado coffee

This is a nice little dainty coffin shop in a residential neighborhood. The food was good and presented nicely. Cortado coffees were great. The service was good and the food was served in a timely manner. There are seating areas overlooking the upcoming park that is being built and also in front of the shop overlooking the street and parking lot. We'll be back here for sure.

I love Emile's Cafe and I had the greatest experience here earlier this week. When you first get here, you are greeted with a space that looks like a modern day barn. With a blue/turquoise logo and red umbrellas out front, it gives it a nice pop of color that makes this place so Instagrammable. I would say the inside is mainly for ordering and waiting for your drink if you're taking it to-go, but it's perfectly laid out to where you don't feel cramped inside. There's indoor seating, but who wants to sit indoors when THERE'S AN ENTIRELY BEAUTIFUL BACK PATIO TO ENJOY! This was probably one of the few main reasons why I wanted to check this place out in the first place. If there's one thing about me, I LOVE me some outdoor seating at a cafe. They have a big open space and lots of shaded seating, perfect for gatherings (in fact they hold reserved events here sometimes). I love that the patio faces the trees. If you just ignore the houses being built off to the right, you literally feel like you're transported into a cafe in the woods. I cannot wait to be here during fall and read a book here. Onto the service and food-- Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I got to do a quick interview for socials and speak with Kevin and he was such a gem of a person. I ordered an Iced Vanilla bean Latte and a croissant from their pastry rack. I usually order the vanilla latte as a safe coffee because it's a classic, and I'm glad I did. There's just some places that do coffee right, and this is one of them. The croissant was soft and had a perfect flaky crisp on the outside. I've been searching long and hard for a place in Sac that sells morning buns, and THEY HAVE IT! You'll definitely see me here again soon to order that and some actual breakfast and lunch items the next time I'm here. Overall so good, and deserves so much more hype. They have a decent parking space, but if you come during peak hours, be prepared to just park on the street and walk right on up to the cafe.

5/5 This cozy cafe was the perfect way to start our morning -- everything exceeded our expectations! Food We both ordered the breakfast bacon sandwich, and it was absolutely delicious. The bread was perfectly toasted, the bacon was crispy, and the flavors came together beautifully. A hearty and satisfying way to kick off the day. Drinks We tried two iced lattes: the vanilla bean and the peaches & cream. * The iced vanilla bean latte was smooth, creamy, and just the right amount of sweetness. * The peaches & cream iced latte was sweet and refreshing, but the peach flavor was pretty subtle. It was still enjoyable, just a bit more understated than expected. Atmosphere We chose to sit outside and loved the peaceful, natural surroundings. The outdoor seating area is a great spot to relax, enjoy your coffee, and take in the fresh air. Service The staff was friendly and efficient, and our food and drinks came out quickly. Overall, we had a wonderful experience -- delicious food & drinks, a serene atmosphere, and great service. We'll definitely be back to try their lunch menu (offered after 11am) and bring along our pup since they are very dog friendly!

Our family came here to try out their night life and we had a really good time. Their drinks were delicious and their tapas style dishes were also great. Service was excellent. It's definitely more of an adult style dining experience, we had our kids and it was still great but for future -- something to note. All in all, zero complaints. We all enjoyed our time! We've been during their morning/afternoon times and it was also just as good! I love that the family is expanding

There's a wait. Only two tables inside; the rest of the seating is outdoors (100F in the summer). The food is very tasty and upscale. The cafe is beautiful inside and the patio is stylish. We look forward to returning to trying something else from the menu which may be different or seasonal. This is very close to our house, so we could've walked but there is parking.

They were already on the patio with Tyler (The Server), who turned out to be the MVP of the day. We asked about the Pork Belly Tacos we saw on the game‑day menu... only to learn they were theoretical tacos. Imaginary tacos. Tacos that exist spiritually but not physically on game day. Tyler went full hero mode trying to make it happen anyway. Didn't pan out, but he gave it a valiant effort. To ease our grief, he brought shots on the house--because nothing heals disappointment like tequila. He made the whole visit a good time, so here's a big thank‑you to Tyler. See you after the next A's game--cheers!

Located a short walk from the stadium, this place has alot of charm. Containing both indoor and outdoor seating, the place was definitely busy prior to the game. Happy hour had various drink options from mixed drinks, well drinks, and beer, in addition to various bites, all $8 or lower. If you wanted a larger meal, the menu includes options that seemed to cater to most people, at comparable restaurant pricing. The staff was pretty busy as the place was bustling with alot of people , but they all met you with a smile, and service was great. I did not try the food, only having a beer and a chocolate old fashioned, but if the food tastes anywhere as good as it looked , or like the drink I had, I cant wait to give it a try. The place also has 5 virtual golf bays, so a plan is already in works to come back with some friends , eat drink and play some virtual courses.

She was very helpful and attentive, but it wasn't an act in hopes for a good tip. Now then...the food. I ordered the crab Benedict. Very messy, hard to eat...but in the best way a Benedict should be. Plenty of crab and spinach, and a good amount of hollandaise. The eggs were POACHED PERFECTLY. This cannot be stressed enough. I've been to many Sacramento places where the eggs are either rushed or overcooked...these were great. Also, the potatoes were crispy on the outside, but burning hot and soft on the inside. We shared the lemon ricotta pancakes, which were very indulgent. A perfectly sweet, lemony, but not overly sweet dish to bite through the heavy savory Benedict (I'm skinny, had a month long bout with pneumonia, so trying to GAIN weight). My wife got the tornado omurice, and loved it... saying she wants to come back and order again. On Saturday and Sunday, expect a long wait (see previous review of coffee shop for context), but without a doubt... worth the wait

Just gave me the address and said "street parking bro... good luck." Pull up and this place looks like your childhood friend's house that grew up, got a little money, found peace and turned into a café . Super cozy, cool vibe and honestly just has personality to it. Walked in and instantly greeted by Elena and let me tell you... Elena wasn't taking orders she was basically an offensive coordinator drawing up plays for breakfast lol . I told her it was my first time and she goes "I got you." That's all I needed to hear. She hooked me up with the Berry Blossom Milk Tea, Ultra Violet iced coffee, blueberry muffin and the breakfast burrito with bacon and avocado. Now the drinks? Solid. That Ultra Violet coffee had lavender, caramel and honey all entering the chat at once like they were forming the Avengers . Somehow it worked. Then came the burrito... now listen... at first I'm sitting there like "alright everybody calm down it's just a breakfast burrito." WRONG. This thing came out throwing hands immediately eggs, potatoes, bacon, avocado all packed into this perfectly toasted tortilla. Then the salsa showed up like a surprise guest star and took the whole thing to another level. I almost looked around for somebody's grandma in the back yelling "make sure that boy leaves full!" Sat outside watching the A's game, drinking coffee, enjoying the breeze and honestly it was the perfect Sunday reset. Steve my brother... you absolutely crushed this recommendation

So now, the only non-meat option that isn't a salad is $12 avocado toast (modified to be vegan) or a $13 veggie wrap with no protein. Thankfully they still offer non-dairy milk options for their beverages and grab & go vegan desserts which is great considering they could have removed everything and stuck with a traditional meat/dairy/egg based menu. It's a bummer because there are so few options in West Sacramento and now there are even fewer.

It's been years since I've been, mainly because of the long wait times and no reservations on weekends. As a planner, I gravitate toward places where I can make a reservation. However, it was a special occasion, so we committed to it on a holiday weekend. The wait was estimated at 1.5 hours for a party of 7, but it ended up being closer to 40 minutes, which honestly wasn't bad at all. The patio and waiting area are gorgeous and make the wait worth it on a beautiful day. Great shade from the trees, solid service, and a really nice ambiance overall. The menu is massive with a little bit of everything and huge portions, so it's quite hard to decide. I settled on the Madame Cristo because it sounded decadent and somewhere between lunch and breakfast, which felt perfect for brunch. And decadent it was. The cheesy ham and béchamel blended into this super rich, fatty bite balanced by the French toast it was sandwiched between. The eggs on top were almost overkill, but still a welcome addition for some protein. The chipotle raspberry jam was surprisingly good too, almost like a smoky raspberry salsa that added sweetness and helped cut through some of the richness. The potatoes were standard and nothing to write home about. It was definitely a lot, but pretty good and exactly what you expect from a brunch spot like this. I'm not going to say the food is mind-blowing, but it's solid and they have unique dishes, great vibes, and something for everyone to enjoy. Nice to see that Tower Cafe is still doing well after all these years and remains a great place to celebrate special occasions.
