    Serrano burger

This place is a cozy cafe style Mexican inspired sandwich/burger/brunch spot. Serrano burger: B+ Had pastrami and Serrano peppers on it for a little bit of heat. I liked it a lot. Pastrami on burgers is a trend that I think needs more love! Not a big fan of the crinkle cut fries but they're okay.

Perfect poached eggs the whites were totally done and the yolks were not! Bacon was nice and crispy and the French toast was delicious.

I had to go to IKEA for storage bins and I was hungry. I saw this place on Yelp and decided to try it out! My birthday last week moved me into the Senior category! So I opted for the French toast, bacon and egg combo. It was under $10! I ordered my eggs poached and they were poached too perfection! The bacon I asked for crispy and it was perfectly crispy. The French toast was also delicious. It came with coffee too! If I'm out in West Sac again I'll be sure to stop by and eat! You should try the place. It's really good. There's lots of beautiful succulents. I sat outside and enjoyed those.

Serrano's is solid fare but their prices have gone up recently. =( But I'm glad we have them as an option in West Sac.

Phenomenal. Amazing. And more! Great service and the best chicken fried steak with biscuits and gravy I've ever had ...seriously and literally!! And while I consider this a luxury, it was super cool that the food arrived within 10 minutes!!

We were served right away however our experience wasn't what we had hoped it would be. We were in the area and saw this place had a 4.4 star rating which is the only reason why we came here to eat. Let me start off by saying I will never eat here again or recommend it to anybody and here is the reason why: 1. The club sandwich meat was sub par + dry 2. The breakfast was over cooked & very dry 3. We had to ask for napkins + silverware after our food arrived 4. See picture glass of water Inside the restaurant, music was playing while the television mounted about 10 feet on the wall was playing the Dr. Phil show. There is outside dining, which look very inviting however, the whole food experience left a bad taste in my mouth no pun intended.

Best kept secret in West Sacramento! This place is absolutely amazing. The service is phenomenal and the food is incredible. I love their prices and can't say enough about how clean the restaurant is or how attentive the staff always are. I usually order the special with two eggs over easy, hash browns, sausage, and biscuits and gravy, it never disappoints. My husband loves their French toast. The coffee is always fresh and hot, too. I truly enjoy coming here with my loved ones. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and enjoyable every time. I recommend it to everyone! Just a heads up, your waitress won't bring the bill to the table; you'll walk up to the register to pay. We can't get enough of this place. It's definitely my favorite!

Always looking for a good breakfast burrito in town. If look on Serrano's Cafe, you won't see one on their menu, but you can actually request to change their omelet into a burrito! My man picked up two Miss n Browns as breakfast burritos. They had hash browns, mixed with ham, bacon, eggs, cheese, and sausage. They are thick and big! Definitely will fill you up. Really no complaints about it. It goes great with some hot sauce. I wouldn't mind coming here for dine in and trying their other options!

My Pop was craving a Reuben so I tasked him with finding a lunch spot for us. Yelp led him to Serrano's Cafe. We were hungry and left satisfied. We arrived at the restaurant an hour before closing. We sat outside since I brought my pup. The restaurant is a casual, hole-in-the-wall spot, not the cleanest though. Inside had some tables and outside had a few as well. We were one of the few customers, our waitress was sweet and did a good job juggling parties. Our food came out relatively fast. I love eggs and hash browns. So I enjoyed the Spice It Up Scrambled Eggs, No Cheese. The scramble wasn't spicy and I have a low spice tolerance. Good variety of ingredients and a hefty portion (took half to-go). It was comforting and did the job, but could've used more seasoning! The hash browns were thick and crispy. My Pop enjoyed his sandwich even though they were out of certain ingredients. Wanting a no-frills brunch or lunch spot? Serrano's Cafe is a great option in West Sacramento. They're located in a shopping plaza that has ample parking.

Full house at early lunch (11'sh) on Tuesday says it all. But still managed to get massive burrito for what others charge doubl, so easy to see why they're so popula.

There's a nice little park outside where you can sit outside and enjoy your lunch as well

We sat outside in the parklet. Our server was very, very nice. She had explained all the options to us on the menu and I went for the Reuben sandwich because they make their own in-house pastrami. Can't get better than that. It was moist and tasty just like it should be sliced nice and thin. Service was pretty fast and always with a smile. And the omelette that my daughter ordered was gorgeous. I would recommend eating here. And the price is very reasonable for what you get.

Thank you for offering so many options and for delicious food every time we come here. Service was professional and offered to accommodate special orders. Place was very nice for a caffe! I like the outdoor seating! We come eat here every time we are in town, and sometimes just because we want good food! I love the fresh squeezed juice, I get the orange carrot and beet! And I'm trying something new every time. Everything has been delicious! Thank you for providing amazing service and the best home cooking experience!!!

They were already on the patio with Tyler (The Server), who turned out to be the MVP of the day. We asked about the Pork Belly Tacos we saw on the game‑day menu... only to learn they were theoretical tacos. Imaginary tacos. Tacos that exist spiritually but not physically on game day. Tyler went full hero mode trying to make it happen anyway. Didn't pan out, but he gave it a valiant effort. To ease our grief, he brought shots on the house--because nothing heals disappointment like tequila. He made the whole visit a good time, so here's a big thank‑you to Tyler. See you after the next A's game--cheers!

Located a short walk from the stadium, this place has alot of charm. Containing both indoor and outdoor seating, the place was definitely busy prior to the game. Happy hour had various drink options from mixed drinks, well drinks, and beer, in addition to various bites, all $8 or lower. If you wanted a larger meal, the menu includes options that seemed to cater to most people, at comparable restaurant pricing. The staff was pretty busy as the place was bustling with alot of people , but they all met you with a smile, and service was great. I did not try the food, only having a beer and a chocolate old fashioned, but if the food tastes anywhere as good as it looked , or like the drink I had, I cant wait to give it a try. The place also has 5 virtual golf bays, so a plan is already in works to come back with some friends , eat drink and play some virtual courses.

Just gave me the address and said "street parking bro... good luck." Pull up and this place looks like your childhood friend's house that grew up, got a little money, found peace and turned into a café . Super cozy, cool vibe and honestly just has personality to it. Walked in and instantly greeted by Elena and let me tell you... Elena wasn't taking orders she was basically an offensive coordinator drawing up plays for breakfast lol . I told her it was my first time and she goes "I got you." That's all I needed to hear. She hooked me up with the Berry Blossom Milk Tea, Ultra Violet iced coffee, blueberry muffin and the breakfast burrito with bacon and avocado. Now the drinks? Solid. That Ultra Violet coffee had lavender, caramel and honey all entering the chat at once like they were forming the Avengers . Somehow it worked. Then came the burrito... now listen... at first I'm sitting there like "alright everybody calm down it's just a breakfast burrito." WRONG. This thing came out throwing hands immediately eggs, potatoes, bacon, avocado all packed into this perfectly toasted tortilla. Then the salsa showed up like a surprise guest star and took the whole thing to another level. I almost looked around for somebody's grandma in the back yelling "make sure that boy leaves full!" Sat outside watching the A's game, drinking coffee, enjoying the breeze and honestly it was the perfect Sunday reset. Steve my brother... you absolutely crushed this recommendation

So now, the only non-meat option that isn't a salad is $12 avocado toast (modified to be vegan) or a $13 veggie wrap with no protein. Thankfully they still offer non-dairy milk options for their beverages and grab & go vegan desserts which is great considering they could have removed everything and stuck with a traditional meat/dairy/egg based menu. It's a bummer because there are so few options in West Sacramento and now there are even fewer.

Give me dependable, fresh, friendly, and accessible and I'm a returning customer once every few months when my budget allows or when I'm sorta flush and want to treat some pals but not go broke. Love that it's accessible, too. HUGE ADA restroom! Hubs and I have been here 3 times now and consistency is key: in service, in food, in vibe, and in feeling like our money's well spent and appreciated. Tonight I had the rib eye sandwich and hubs had the breakfast combo of biscuits and gravy with over-easy eggs and crispy bacon. That boy loves him some biscuits and gravy. He reports that the biscuits were hot and fluffy, the gravy was flavorful and the perfect consistencey, and I could see that his eggs were perfect. Crispy bacon FTW. Breakfast served all day is a HUGE plus to some friends of mine who work night shift, BTW. My rib eye steak was the perfect thickness for a sandwich and was done exactly as I requested. The soft and fluffy (yet solid) French roll was lightly toasted. Simple sandwich adornments of cool freshly sliced tomatoes and cool crispy iceberg lettuce - yay, none of that wilty stuff that pulls off with the first bite. Man, I love it when a restaurant stays in a solid dependable lane from visit to visit. Yup. 5 stars. So sorry no pics. We got all messed up with DST and it was almost 7pm before we pulled in for supper so we tucked into our food the second it was delivered.
