So I stop by my bro Steven's place and ask him where's a good coffee spot around here? A's game is on and this man throws me a fastball right down the middle and absolutely sends it over the fence with The Tree House Cafe didn't even hesitate. Just gave me the address and said "street parking bro... good luck." Pull up and this place looks like your childhood friend's house that grew up, got a little money, found peace and turned into a café . Super cozy, cool vibe and honestly just has personality to it. Walked in and instantly greeted by Elena and let me tell you... Elena wasn't taking orders she was basically an offensive coordinator drawing up plays for breakfast lol . I told her it was my first time and she goes "I got you." That's all I needed to hear. She hooked me up with the Berry Blossom Milk Tea, Ultra Violet iced coffee, blueberry muffin and the breakfast burrito with bacon and avocado. Now the drinks? Solid. That Ultra Violet coffee had lavender, caramel and honey all entering the chat at once like they were forming the Avengers . Somehow it worked. Then came the burrito... now listen... at first I'm sitting there like "alright everybody calm down it's just a breakfast burrito." WRONG. This thing came out throwing hands immediately eggs, potatoes, bacon, avocado all packed into this perfectly toasted tortilla. Then the salsa showed up like a surprise guest star and took the whole thing to another level. I almost looked around for somebody's grandma in the back yelling "make sure that boy leaves full!" Sat outside watching the A's game, drinking coffee, enjoying the breeze and honestly it was the perfect Sunday reset. Steve my brother... you absolutely crushed this recommendation

Avocado toast (added : tomato and 1 egg)

Came here the other day. Usually they put cucumbers on their avocado toast and pickled onions. I asked for tomatoes and an egg ontop instead. My egg was fried which I was disappointed bc I thought they were gonna give it to me how I've always seen it sold at places (runny in the middle) so might've been miscommunication from me and my cashier. I was kind of upset bc I don't like fried eggs so I spent extra for the egg just to end up throwing it away smh. I also thought the tomato was going to the little baby tomatoes as soon on the photos here on Yelp but it was just sliced big pieces. I feel like the cashier could've communicated better on what I was going to be paying almost $20 for. I also feel like they could've plated it nicer. Either way the avocado toast itself was not bad. I might just have to order something else next time.

This is my second time writing about this business because with there being so many places to grab a drink or quick bite, this spot is still easily in my top 10. I've come here to hang out with friends, do homework, sit by myself and enjoy my own company, or even just grab something to go, and the consistency of enjoying this place has never changed. The customer service is always friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere is relaxing without feeling overwhelmingly busy, and the food always tastes fresh and good quality. I honestly haven't experimented too much with the drink menu yet, but my favorite part of this entire spot is the little backyard vibe. I can't fully explain it, but it genuinely feels like sitting in the backyard of a friend's house enjoying a home cooked meal and a good drink. I've been here during different seasons too, and somehow the outdoor space is always enjoyable whether it's gloomy and sprinkling or hot and sunny. Between the plants, shaded spots, open space, and even the cat I've seen around sometimes, there's just something very calming and settled about it. As a student, I also appreciate the free Wi Fi and that you never feel rushed to leave, but at the same time service is still quick and efficient. Parking can sometimes be a little annoying, but not enough to stop me from coming back. It's also super close to the River Walk, which makes it even better on a nice day.

Love this gem of a find!! We were first timers after a search for good coffee. Tree House Cafe is such a cute cool trendy coffeehouse with lots of food options in addition to the tasty coffee options they have. The place was very busy which goes to show its popularity. The backyard seating area is perfect of a beautiful day to sit and hang out with friends and family. I was very impressed and so happy for this place that they can provide such satisfaction to their customers. Way to go Tree House!

Tree house cafe is a wonderful little spot to get your caffeine fix or enjoy one of their many different drinks. There is no seating inside but their outdoor seating is amazing and comfortable, they have a tv for any sports so you can just relax. The service was also amazing, they were great with suggestions and just sweet. We just stopped by for coffee and I tried their mushroom coffee which was actually pretty delicious. My wife for one of their lattes and she wished it was little more flavorful but she did enjoy it overall. I want to go back and try more so it will be on our list to come back too. I would say give it a try I feel like they have so much to offer.

Amazing food and ambiance. Treehouse salad was amazing 7/5. The salad greens stood out really well. The toasted almonds had carmelization and amazing. BLTA the bacon stood out well. Was able to substitute the aoli for vegan aoli. 5/5 Matcha was amazing as well. Tastes like Japanese Kyoto matcha rich and great taste. 7/5. Peppermint mocha was great! Nice chocolate and hint of peppermint. Using Temple grounds. 6/5 Probably could improve the way they take orders. Maybe make 2 different lines to order for To Go and eat in? Or for a server to come to take orders. The wait was pretty long.

This cafe was at a corner of 3rd St & G St. of West Sac. We parked our car a block away since there's only street parking in the area. We arrived here around 1:30pm on Saturday and ordered immediately inside the shack. We opted to sit under the big apple tree on the side of the shack and it was very breezy and cooled in spite of the hot summer weather. Our order came out in about 10 minutes after we sat down. - Sunday egg: the bun was soft and fluffy. The combination of ham, egg, pickled onion, and arugula was good. - Flying Dutchmen: I love Dutch crunch bread esp. the crunch on the crackle. The combination of BBQ, grilled chicken, and pickled onion was perfect!

A solid cafe that I would love to return to in the summer! We stopped by one morning and found it so charming. However, there isn't much indoor seating, less than 10 seats at a window side bar. There were a variety of beverages and coffees and plenty of specials as well. Offerings - The Flying Dutchman - delicious! Warm, with so much flavor. This was the better sandwich of the two. - The Surfin' Bird - I enjoyed this one but it was cold and I felt like I could have made it at home with the right ingredients. I guess that's fair to say about any sandwich though. The bread for both sandwiches were simple, torta-esque, basic bread. I think the other ingredients were higher in quality. - Chocolate Chunk Cookie: everyone has different opinions on what makes a good cookie. I will say this one is for those who like a good distribution of chocolate and prefer a softer, slightly less cooked, but not raw cookie.

Very cute spot. Came for breakfast. It's a little expensive but everywhere is now. I believe they had sugar free syrups. Coffee was good. We sat outside, they have a lot of seating outside. She brought our coffee out to us which was nice as well as our food. We got the basic bacon in a bun, I did find it a little rich/sweet but still very enjoyable. It was nice to sit under the fruits trees and watch the squirrels.

Came in hopeful, left caffeinated and mildly side-eyeing my wallet. If you're vegan and dreaming of a hearty breakfast moment (like a tofu scramble burrito situation), you might need to adjust expectations--options are a bit on the minimalist side. I was aiming for something savory and filling, but landed on avocado toast (which can be made vegan--just ask them to skip the butter). That said, the coffee? Absolutely dialed. I had an oat milk dirty chai and it was chef's kiss--rich, balanced, and worth the visit on its own. The plot twist is the price tag. With an 18% tip, I walked out $30 lighter for a drink, a slice of avo toast, and a vegan brownie for later. Not outrageous for California, but enough to make you pause mid-sip and reflect on your life choices. Overall: great coffee, limited vegan breakfast options, and a vibe that says "treat yourself"... just maybe not every day.

Can't believe how long it took me to come here, this is such a cute spot! I wish I had come here sooner so we could've enjoyed summer mornings here because of their beautiful outdoor seating area, but we enjoyed it just as much on a crisp fall morning with all the leaves and fruit on the trees. They have actual food here unlike some cafes so I liked that we could have a full breakfast here - we even had leftovers! The quesadilla with pork shoulder was my favorite, which was the special of the day. It had fresh avocado mash and pickled red onions, and it was a huge portion. The breakfast burrito was also a winner - they toast the outside so it felt more like chimichanga, but it was delicious whatever you want to call it. I was a little skeptical about the matcha but it sounded too good to resist, and it turned out to be great! The menu described it as a salted caramel matcha but didn't get too much of the salted caramel flavor, focused more on the ube cold foam which was well made! They had several other specialty lattes to choose from also. Will definitely be returning here again, great service and food/drink came out quickly! It was so quiet and peaceful for a Saturday morning, such a great spot to start off your day.

Such a lovely place! The staff were incredibly kind and attentive - they even brought water for our puppy and gave him a little treat. It was so sweet to see everyone petting him and talking to him, it really made us feel welcome. The food was delicious and the coffee was great too. We'll definitely be coming back!
