Came here on a Tuesday for lunch around 11:50am. We had to circle around a bit to find parking on the street since there's no designated parking lot. It wasn't busy much since there wasn't a line but a few tables were waiting for their food before us. I had the BLTA and it was DELICIOUS. I love the bread it comes with. The top is a bit crispier and the bottom bum is softer. The sandwich was fresh. I love the taste, still thinking of the next time I'll return to eat it. Water is in a dispenser inside and doesn't come with ice. You will need to let the front cashier know if you want ice. I feel like they should just put ice in the dispenser. Love the outside, great to have kids running around. The wait for our food took about 15 minutes I think, not too bad. I would return here, I really love the BLTA sandwich. read more

I told her it was my first time and she goes "I got you." That's all I needed to hear. She hooked me up with the Berry Blossom Milk Tea, Ultra Violet iced coffee, blueberry muffin and the breakfast burrito with bacon and avocado. Now the drinks? Solid. That Ultra Violet coffee had lavender, caramel and honey all entering the chat at once like they were forming the Avengers . Somehow it worked. Then came the burrito... now listen... at first I'm sitting there like "alright everybody calm down it's just a breakfast burrito." WRONG. Came here the other day. Usually they put cucumbers on their avocado toast and pickled onions. I asked for tomatoes and an egg ontop instead. My egg was fried which I was disappointed bc I thought they were gonna give it to me how I've always seen it sold at places (runny in the middle) so might've been miscommunication from me and my cashier. I was kind of upset bc I don't like fried eggs so I spent extra for the egg just to end up throwing it away smh. I also thought the tomato was going to the little baby tomatoes as soon on the photos here on Yelp but it was just sliced big pieces. This is my second time writing about this business because with there being so many places to grab a drink or quick bite, this spot is still easily in my top 10. I've come here to hang out with friends, do homework, sit by myself and enjoy my own company, or even just grab something to go, and the consistency of enjoying this place has never changed. The customer service is always friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere is relaxing without feeling overwhelmingly busy, and the food always tastes fresh and good quality. I honestly haven't experimented too much with the drink menu yet, but my favorite part of this entire spot is the little backyard vibe. I can't fully explain it, but it genuinely feels like sitting in the backyard of a friend's house enjoying a home cooked meal and a good drink. I've been here during different seasons too, and somehow the outdoor space is always enjoyable whether it's gloomy and sprinkling or hot and sunny. Between the plants, shaded spots, open space, and even the cat I've seen around sometimes, there's just something very calming and settled about it. As a student, I also appreciate the free Wi Fi and that you never feel rushed to leave, but at the same time service is still quick and efficient. There is no seating inside but their outdoor seating is amazing and comfortable, they have a tv for any sports so you can just relax. The service was also amazing, they were great with suggestions and just sweet. We just stopped by for coffee and I tried their mushroom coffee which was actually pretty delicious. My wife for one of their lattes and she wished it was little more flavorful but she did enjoy it overall. I want to go back and try more so it will be on our list to come back too. This cafe was at a corner of 3rd St & G St. of West Sac. We parked our car a block away since there's only street parking in the area. We arrived here around 1:30pm on Saturday and ordered immediately inside the shack. We opted to sit under the big apple tree on the side of the shack and it was very breezy and cooled in spite of the hot summer weather. A solid cafe that I would love to return to in the summer! We stopped by one morning and found it so charming. However, there isn't much indoor seating, less than 10 seats at a window side bar. There were a variety of beverages and coffees and plenty of specials as well. Offerings - The Flying Dutchman - delicious! Warm, with so much flavor. This was the better sandwich of the two. - The Surfin' Bird - I enjoyed this one but it was cold and I felt like I could have made it at home with the right ingredients. Can't believe how long it took me to come here, this is such a cute spot! I wish I had come here sooner so we could've enjoyed summer mornings here because of their beautiful outdoor seating area, but we enjoyed it just as much on a crisp fall morning with all the leaves and fruit on the trees. The quesadilla with pork shoulder was my favorite, which was the special of the day. It had fresh avocado mash and pickled red onions, and it was a huge portion. The breakfast burrito was also a winner - they toast the outside so it felt more like chimichanga, but it was delicious whatever you want to call it. I was a little skeptical about the matcha but it sounded too good to resist, and it turned out to be great! The menu described it as a salted caramel matcha but didn't get too much of the salted caramel flavor, focused more on the ube cold foam which was well made! They had several other specialty lattes to choose from also. Will definitely be returning here again, great service and food/drink came out quickly! Such a cool place! Mostly outdoor seating, with plenty of covered space but also a much larger "back yard" area that could be arranged any which way depending on your group. We had a "rainbow wrap" and avocado toast. A+ on the wrap, and a "B" on the toast. Thankfully they still offer non-dairy milk options for their beverages and grab & go vegan desserts which is great considering they could have removed everything and stuck with a traditional meat/dairy/egg based menu. All the seating is outdoors, and you can choose from the patio, or venture further back to the various picnic benches. What a delight to sit and dine under the trees. Very important, don't pick the fruit...it's used for their menu. How cool is that?? So that brings me to the food...I had the Tree House Cafe salad and I don't think I've ever eaten anything more fresh. It was delicious and full of delicious berries and almonds. My lunch partner had a sandwich and it looked great too. Afterward, I couldn't leave without a honey lavender latte...it was perfection! I love how maintained and clean everything looks upon entering the cafe. However, I did not inspect for any dust lol. But I did take a look around the inside, and there is no trash or spills on the ground. The little corner stool is pushed in and neat. For the people who are interested about the indoors, there is around 4-5 chairs (I didn't count) and they are very small. They are also near the front cashier. Apparently, there is a regular there who loves to stand right there and chat with the cashier for a long period of time. And therefore, it's really difficult to sit in that indoor area. It looks like I'd slip off the seats or one cheek will be out. Super uncomfortable looking!! When you get the order, it's typical small owned cafes where the baristas look unhappy and either forget your drink or make it extremely fast. I ordered a green iced tea. It was $5 (more expensive than the coffee options..) I'm very grateful for that option since I prefer tea tastes. The tea was done in a few seconds. When I tried it, it tasted like the tea bags has been left in there for way too long. Compared to other cafes I've tried, this tea had a muddy taste. Even with the Ice! But whatever. I grab some sugar packs and poured it in. It was tolerable enough to drink. Now, here comes the fun part. The outdoor area is amazing. You go out the door on the right, and it's just massive!! One section is the front. 2nd section is in the back of the cafe. 3rd section is where everybody chooses to sit and is also the biggest with so many beautifully maintained trees. There are barks on the ground in some area so please be aware! I didn't know and I wore sandals. That hurt getting some of them on my toes. Also, I got bit a bunch of time by little insects the first 30 minutes I was there. Had to keep swiping them. But I stayed because I needed to touch grass anyways. It was also just beautiful. Despite the horrible heatwave this entire summer, the trees made everything feel cinematic. Everybody focuses on their own lives. Alot of people chat with their friends here. There are some who studies here too. Or just to have some self time. The area was super clean and all I really saw green. Not yellow. Not brown. Amazing green. I would totally come back again during autumn. Where it's acceptable to have these gorgeous colors. Regarding parking, street parking is 1 hour between 8am-5pm. But honestly they don't really check this area unless that one officer finds ya. But if he doesn't catch ya, you can park as long as you like without any fees whatsoever. Everybody parks on the sidewalks nearby the cafe (obviously in legally accepted areas. Don't be that person parking in front of someone's garage). There is a lot of residentials and construction workers around. It's safe, just walk like you know where you're going. And don't stay out too late (past sunset). If ur too scared to park on the street, there is this recommended garage called Ziggurat. It's the cheapest and closest to this cafe. read more

A cafe like no other. This location has several regulars, I over heard them say the cat (I photographed) was their main cat while other strays come by. I only saw, I believe she said Smokey. The ramp up is where to start because customers exit at the stair area. Careful exiting because that is where their cats cat bed and food bowl is by and usually where the cat would be so looked down just to be safe. There are lots of tables in the front, the sides and an even larger area in the back. It feels very homie with nature for me. Great for friends and family to enjoy being out for breakfast brunch or lunch. Parking is street parking and a bit difficult so most of the customers seem to come from the work buildings around.
