Great, friendly service. Very comfortable dining experience. Great for a family dinner or to sit for a quick slice any time of the day. Love the old school vibe inside. Kept very clean. Always a good experience here.

4 Four Cheese Pizza

We want to Franks to celebrate my moms birthday and I was excited to try a new pizzeria! The staff was very friendly and attentive and the restaurant offered a great atmosphere. My mom kept saying that she was going to get 4 cheese pizza. I thought she meant 4 cheese pizzas but it was actually a 4 cheese pizza. I thought the cheese pizza was delicious although some people thicket there was too much ricotta. The antipasto was also very good. I was disapproved that I didn't get to try their regular cheese pizza and ordered a margarita pizza. If you are reading this and between a margarita or regular pie, go with the regular pie.... Somebody was also celebrating their birthday in the back room. We had to walk through their party to use the bathroom. If you're in the area and looking to get a quick bite, give Frank's a try.

We have been to Franks multiple times with a large group as a family dinner. When there, you feel like you are at someone's home having a nice Italian dinner. They set up a large table in the back room, which is nice and spacious so you have room to move around. The place is BYOB, which is always a plus. We go so often that we know some of the waiters and waitresses, they are so friendly and attentive. For appetizers, I really enjoy the calamari salad that comes with peppers and arugula. They give you bread and a salad with your entree. The food is good, nothing fancy, but the prices are very reasonable. Additionally, they allow you to bring in dessert for special occasions.

Garlic Knots

Garlic knots burned to hell, wings were so overcooked they were rubbery and forgotten items in the order. Half of it went in the trash and the other half didn't show up lol. Also "garlic bread" is just a whole loaf of bread with some garlic seasoning on it it's not really garlic bread. That was good though!

Gluten free pizza

Don't bother. It had no taste, barely had any sauce or cheese. Crust tastes like cardboard. Paid hard earned money for a GF pie that was not edible. Why does GF have to be made with no flavor. Obviously, no one that prepared this has ever tasted it. This was a one and done. Find better ingredients or a different vendor. Otherwise don't offer GF pizza.

Arancini- traditional Italian risotto balls, yum!

Discovered Frank's on our way to the Poconos. Stopped for a quick lunch and it was terrific. Our little guy enjoyed the arancini (biggest risotto balls we've seen to date!), chicken tenders and fries and we each had a wrap- Turkey club and buffalo chicken- so good!!!Service was very friendly, lots of space and booths and clean restrooms. Five stars! Thanks Frank's!

Menu reads: "cheesesteak wrap, w peppers, onions, mushrooms & loads of melted cheese" lol

Standard pizzeria fare. Maybe one dish that's good enough, the rest are eeehhhhh. This photo was a cheesesteak wrap with the works. This was dry, bare and veryyyyy disappointing, as many times. Menu reads "cheesesteak wrap wirh peppers, onions, mushrooms and loads of melted cheese". Really??! That being said, I am VERY lenient w mishaps. issue lies in that EVERY TIME we order at Frank's past 5pm, there's a major mishap. Every time, and that's IF I get the order delivered at all. Franks, you guys can be great... locals want to give the business but consistency in your menu is all anyone would anticipate.

Lastly, I want to commend the manager/owner in the kitchen from the pick up area. I witnessed him stopping a patron from driving. He informed the patron to stay a little longer because he had been drinking. The patron did not show any sign of intoxication and I believed he obliged. It's not often you see an establishment care for the safety of their customers and others. I was leaving with my family of four (2 young girls). I hope the patron made it home safely.

It was also sparkling clean, which I appreciate. The place was busy on a Sunday (late) morning, but we were seated immediately at a high-top table across from the bar. We both ordered hot coffee, which was incredibly strong. For food, I chose the Chicken Parm Sandwich and my partner got the French Combo. Portion sizes were massive! My Chicken Parm Sandwich was tasty and super filling. The French Combo came as two separate plates - one with the eggs, sausage, bacon, and potatoes, and also a heaping plate of French Toast. I tried a piece of the French Toast, and it was delicious - nice fluffy texture, topped with whipped cream and strawberries. Service was quick and friendly. Overall, a great NJ diner experience!

The prosciutto pizza was a standout--light, refreshing, and the crispy crust was perfect. Everyone at the table ordered a different pasta entree, and we were all impressed. The penne vodka sauce was creamy, flavorful, and rich without being too heavy. One small issue: we ordered a lot of appetizers, and no one came to clear the plates before our entrees arrived. With a smaller table, it got cramped and messy, and we had to ask someone to take the finished dishes. It felt a little sloppy and lack of service for an otherwise great experience. Especially since we had to ask someone other than our server for boxes and the check since she wasn't attentive. That said, the food definitely makes up for it. I'll absolutely be coming back!

Packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. The chocolate cream pie was more of a chocolate mousse. It was a little pricey too. Almost $90.00 with tip. Nothing bad about the experience, but I don't know if I'd go back.

Everything on the menu is vegan, but my family truly could not taste any difference when we visited. The pancakes were so fluffy and tasted incredible. The penne was also so flavorful and was maybe our favorite dish. The breakfast burrito was also filling and tasted great. Additionally, the prices were super reasonable and are definitely more affordable than the average restaurant in the area. Do you ever have an experience at a place so bad that it ruins the trajectory of your whole day?…read moreThat was my morning at Jackie Smalls. I don't give out one-stars on principle unless the food is inedible or something egregious happens but I feel in this case it is warranted. This is my third time at Jackie Smalls. My first, I thought the avo toast was great. Second time I got a very bland breakfast burrito. My third, today, I brought my infant son and decided to dine in. I asked for a high chair and once seated was told by my "waiter" that he could not take my order but I had to order at the front. First issue was this high chair. Nobody knew how to adjust the straps including me, and it was some minimal little aesthetic thing that looked like he could easily topple out of. This is important later. Anyways no big deal with the ordering, front guy was accommodating and let me order from my seat. I ordered the Smalls Scramble for me and French toast for my son with the syrup and raspberries on the side, no pistachios or whip. Food takes a good bit to come out, which is no biggie either. When it arrives, they set down the French toast plate with a knife (a knife knife not a butter knife) on it in front of my son. Ok not great but I hand them the knife back. Then I try the food. Honestly, I'm not sure what to say about the food but...yikes. The eggs were certainly not soft scrambled, and the toast did not look buttered, and the weak potatoes were somewhat like a thick flaccid potato chip drenched in truffle oil and, by the way, not more than a speck of salt on anything. It looked pretty but that was about it. The French toast was deep fried or air fried and it was just not good. Sorry, no other way to say it. So I go to ask for two things: salt, and to inquire as to whether the multi-grain toast has nuts since I have an allergy and it looked concerning. I keep having to go up to these counters and leave my baby unattended in his unstable high chair because nobody will come to me and keep making me get up. I had to ask like five people about the bread until someone pulled out a binder and started looking for allergens. Everyone was just pointing me to the next person and many seemed to simply not understand my question due to a language barrier. I get my salt, and this is some COARSE salt. So I couldn't even fix the seasoning. Not flaky, but like coarse and pebbly for pickling or seasoning steaks, not for food. While I'm up and bouncing from person to person I keep gesturing at my son and nobody will come to my table. In the meantime, he smushed the raspberries and spilled the syrup and I'm back and forth between my conversation and keeping my son in his chair. At the end, I just didn't trust these people's knowledge of anything and could not eat any of my food but brought it home for my husband. It's one thing to serve food that needs a bit of work, but you need to at least offer normal table salt for folks to fix it. It's another thing to have the majority of your staff not know about allergens or how to navigate your high chairs. Also that food needed more than a little bit of work. I will say though those pancakes did look good. I will not be posting pictures for this review because I don't want to mislead with the pretty plating.
