So we were coming back from shopping and instead of going to Chipotle, we decided to try this place. The concept is pretty similar to Chipotle, but the ingredients and flavors are quite different. They have more meat options like shrimp, lamb, and salmon. Also around 6 different dips -- I really liked the spicy one. You can pick 3 out of 6, though the quantity is pretty small. Then all the usual veggies, cream, sauces, and toppings. I took the lamb while my wife got the grilled chicken. The lamb was really good -- 4 small circular pieces loaded with herbs and sauces. Overall, the taste was honestly amazing. What I didn't like was the staff attitude. I understand fast food places are busy, but instead of explaining the ingredients properly, they were rushing everything. Also, unlike Chipotle, they don't really give extra rice easily -- felt like I was asking for something premium And seriously... does no one maintain cleanliness in fast food chains anymore? Tables and floors were dirty, rice all over the place. Anyway, food was really good... experience, not so much, hence 3/5 read more

Food was good. Service was fast with no emotion from servers . Robots. Super high priced for what you get. Ordered greek salmon goddess. Small piece of salmon on rice and lettuce. 17.00. Not a place to go to often. read more

I was in pursuit for those d*mn "Peter Chip" plushie key chains. Unfortunately, they had run out, but with this trip I discovered that the Wayne CAVA is a really good location. All the staff were friendly and nice. I had asked them about the Hot Harissa Meal promotion and they let me know how quickly the plushies went, but they were cool about it. Fresh food, friendly customer service, and clean indoor and outdoor seating options at this CAVA! read more

Now, usually i only use yelp when i am completely disgusted at a place and how it runs, but this one is completely the opposite. From the hospitality to the wide variety of food, this location is fantastic. Service was great and when you ask for extra you get extra, can you believe it. The area and scenery reminds me of Chipotle, but definitely in a more mediterranean way. Five Stars for Cava! read more

The willowbrook location is racist against white people. refused to give me balsamic dressing despite me seeing it right in front of me and was given to customer in front of me. They weren't out. Honestly my wake up call to not go to any locations. Spreading word of this experience. read more

I love CAVA. The salads are great and I think they are pretty healthy. It's a good option amid all the fast food restaurants. This CAVA seemed a little jumbled during the ordering process but the employees were polite. I usually order a salad with the braised lamb and the yogurt dill dressing which is very good. Always got the pita chips, they are great with the salad. The assortment of ice teas and lemonades are sneaky good as well. The price is about what you'd expect and the salad is pretty filling. Give it a try if you're in the area. read more

Always come here whenever I'm craving something that feels refreshing and will still give me the protein I need for dinner! The line is usually long but it goes fast and the service is always good. The place has plenty of seating inside and outside! A great option when you're in somewhat of a rush but don't want a greasy fast food option read more

Smother me in crazy feta and garlic sauce please! I stopped by for a quick dinner and CAVA never disappoints. I was in and out in under 5 minutes. My bowl was very flavorful but I wish I got more pita. My go to order is half arugula with the basmati saffron rice, pickled onions, crazy feta, Greek salad, and roasted red pepper hummus. I have ordered CAVA on several occasions but this was my first time going in. The service was not good at all sadly and the appearance wasn't hygienic. Got the black lentil bowl with braised lamb and chicken with several toppings and my daughter got a brown rice bowl with chicken , veggies and garlic dill sauce. After 2 bites I started feeling sick. Threw out the meal and ended up with food poisoning. No more CAVA for me. read more

Just your typical Cava, nothing fancy going on here. The food was great, i really have only had Cava once before so i wanted to stop in again. I tried their new spicy chicken as the protein and it was good. I love Mediterranean food and this is quick and delicious. Prices are reasonable for this sort of chain, it was about $11-$13/ bowl. The tables were kind of dirty but the restaurant was crowded and it seemed like they could have used another person or two on staff. Nothing to scream about, just your typical "fast food" place but its a nice healthy alternative. read more

Ordered: Custom Greens + Grains Bowl (~$15): SplendidGreens, Saffron Basmati Rice, Tzatziki, Traditional Hummus, Roasted Eggplant Dip, 1/2 Braised Lamb (+$3), 1/2 Grilled Chicken, Fire Roasted Corn, Pickled Onions, Tomato + Cucumber, Cabbage Slaw, Pita Crisps, Lentil Tabbouleh, Hot Harissa Vinaigrette, Yogurt Dill, and 1 Falafel to try Small Cucumber Mint Lime drink Aya's take: Second time at CAVA and I'm a big fan! I love the Mediterranean flavors and the endless ways you can customize a bowl. It's unbelievably filling and doesn't make you feel gross after since it's fairly healthy. I loved the grilled chicken and braised lamb. Both were super juicy, nicely seasoned, and went well with the rest of the bowl. The falafel is far from authentic and definitely not one I would get as my full protein choice - glad I got to try it with this bowl. Solid topping selection with a lot of vibrant colors. Super content with this meal and glad there's a few locations in NJ now! read more

My first time trying CAVA in Wayne, NJ and I wasn't sure what to order. Maria, who was making my bowl, was so patient, kind, and helpful. I tried Cava for the first time after hearing about it for a while. I normally eat bowls with protein at Chipotle or Q'doba, but I decided to go full vegan with my custom bowl. I also got a free side of pita bread & purchased pita chips to try as well. I was pleasantly surprised with how flavorful and filling the grain bowl was. The brown rice was really soft and cooked well. I did remove a star because the dip/ spread I selected for the bowl was missing. The pita chips tasted great and evenly seasoned. They were crispy on the outside & soft on the inside and not too oily. I can't comment on the customer service or the ambiance of this Cava because this meal was delivered to me. Overall, I do think this establishment is worth a try. I would definitely make a habit of eating here in the future. read more

I like you can built up your bowl. The food is good and fresh. Will come back to try other items

First time at Cava and it was as delicious and fresh as my friends have told me! Only reason I knocked them a star is because in this location or particular time I came, all the servers were too busy having conversations and eating their lunch behind the counter to take my order. I waited a good 10 minutes and the line behind me got significantly longer by 3 more people by the time they finally took my order. That being said, the staff was friendly once they got to me and since it was my first time there, they were helpful at making recommendations for my order. My Harissa chicken/avocado without the spice was perfect! I also tried some of their hummus and their garlic dressing on the side and some Pita. The Pita was very soft and yummy. I gotta say, my bowl was packed with deliciousness in every bite! I will for sure be back, and maybe bump them up a star if their service improves! read more

the staff at this CAVA are great. they're always friendly and helpful. Dani is funny as hell. Betsy, Gabriel, and Nixon are all chill too.

Joining the Cava train finally after hearing it so many times as the Mediterranean Chipotle. Anyone who knows me knows that I love these types of concepts. Blaze, Chiptole, Poke, you name it. Being able to choose and create my own personal tasty dish is just amazing. Although a bit more pricey compared to Chipotle (although getting a bit closer sadly...), they make up for it by having lots of fresh and flavorful ingredients. Personal standouts for me: (essentially their fried pita chips that when soaked just a little was super nice with everything elsle, the chicken, the tahini sauce), def will want to try all the sauces next time! read more

Considering this is my first time having Cava I wasnt sure what to expect. I ordered via mobile app for pick up. The food was good I will be coming back but there was something so terribly salty in the bowl that I feel like I've a salt burn on my tongue. I also noticed a couple of items I ordered missing from my actual bowl. Fortunately I dont think it was anything I paid extra for but if they were out I would have preferred to be told and not surprised since it was originally for to go. Overall it was good and I would go back. Just gotta figure out whatever that overall salty item was read more

CAVA is my favorite fast casual place to eat. I discovered CAVA dips years ago when I went to a yoga event and I'm so happy that they are opening up new locations and this specific location is so close to me. Everything here is delicious and fresh! For the base - I usually get arugula, brown rice, & lentil. For the dips & spreads - you have up to 3 choices and I typically pick the harissa, tzatziki and crazy feta (don't forget your side of pita). For protein - the braised lamb is amazing but it is extra $, so I typically just get grilled chicken and honestly still so delicious because there is just so much flavor to the bowl after I ask them for all the toppings afterwards haha ;) For the dressing, I really like the Skhug, yogurt dill and garlic. You really can't go with anything wrong here, I'm obsessed. read more

I LOVE CAVA and was so excited to find one closer to me but gosh I have never been so disappointed. The service was another level of bad. The young man was moving so quickly that 1) he put items in the bowl that I specifically requested to remove as I cannot eat them 2) dropped half the product out from the serving spoons before it even reached the bowl (I have never received such an empty bowl... see picture ) 3) charged me for avocado that I didn't even order or receive. He was so incredibly rude when I asked him to remove the item (feta) that I cannot have. He also was rude when I asked for the pita (which I usually don't have to ask for..) and rudely tossed it in the bag not even in its proper wrapping. As of now (and I hope it was just a fluke) but would not return to this location. read more

This place is good, but it's hit or miss depending on the time of day you go and how motivated the employees are. I would recommend coming here for lunch. Their food is generally fresh around this time. Dinner is another story. I've been here on times when it feels like everything has been sitting out all day. Overall, I like this place and you can't beat the price for what you get with their bowls. read more
