Menemen
Basma N.

This restaurant was hard to rate because the food was so good but the service was so bad. They recently opened at Willowbrook mall so I'm hopeful that they have changed. We ordered the Turkish breakfast which comes with muhammara, baba ganoush, tomatoes and cucumbers, fries, waffles, cheese phyllo roll (this didn't come), jams, honey with butter, cheese and olives, eggs, and tea. We also added menemen, which is an egg dish with tomato, peppers, and spices. Everything was really good, the only complaint is the waffles may have been overcooked and of course we didn't get one dish. They even gave us unlimited warm bread and butter. I also tried the strawberry cocktail juice. It was really good, not too sweet surprisingly.

Saw a video on tiktok and figured we'd try it for a friends birthday. The ambiance has a modern fun feel. Perfect spot for a girls night out. The house made pita was delicious and brought to the table warm. Our server was very helpful with guiding us on what to order based on our taste. We started with the hummus dip trio, fig and feta flatbread, and zucchini pancakes. All were very good and came out in a normal amount of time. For our entree's mostly everyone got kebabs.. & each bite was better than the next. They also have a great selection for dessert but since we came mid week some options were unavailable. Overall enjoyed our time there. We'll be back for sure!

I've visited Blue Fig Garden a few times now and it never disappoints. The menu has a fantastic variety of options, including gluten-free. On my first visit, I was slightly overwhelmed by how many options I had to choose from, a welcome change. The service has been excellent each time, especially from Nuri. As for the food, everything tastes fresh and comes out hot, exactly what you want when dining out. This is also a BYOB location, and they provide a bucket of ice for the table if needed. I highly recommend the cheesy falafel; it gives a different spin on a classic dish. The prices are reasonable and what you would expect at most Mediterranean restaurants. The décor in the restaurant is also lovely, providing an authentic and warm setting to relax in.

I'll start by saying the food was delicious. We ordered lahmacun as an appetizer and our meals were the whole bronzino and Adana kebab. All of it was super tasty However, the service was really bad and extremely slow. The waiter could've have been any less attentive. We sat in their outside seating area and it was not packed at all. We could see him in the bar area right inside chilling on his phone. After we eventually got our food, we literally ate all of it before he even came out to check on us. When he did he goes "the bronzino is so good. Great choice" stares at my empty, stacked plates and just walks away. It must've been another 1+ hour before we even came back around and we still had to ask for the check even though the restaurant was literally closing and we were obviously done eating. Good food. Bad experience.

Staff was very friendly and attentive. Seating was comfortable. Beautiful interior and chairs. Many options for coffee and desserts. Extensive menu with many vegan and gluten free options. I would go again and try more menu items.

I had Greek salad, side ordered sautéed shrimp, and a latte. The entire meal presented well and was flavorful. On the negative side, the server was very nice but left the restaurant without saying anything, about who would take over. At checkout, I tipped her anyway, but didn't notice the 18% automatic service charge on the receipt and I thought my total payment only included my tip. This 18% was never verbally mentioned by the server, nor the person who took the payment. Not sure if I'll return...

Disappointed and Let Down I don't usually leave negative reviews, but I feel like this experience needs to be shared so others don't walk in with high hopes and walk out frustrated like I did. I recently visited Blue Fig Garden looking forward to a solid Arabic meal. Unfortunately, it was disappointing from start to finish. The service wasn't great. After placing my order, I waited around 45 minutes for the food to come out--and during that time, no one checked on me, gave updates, or even asked if I needed anything. That kind of wait might be understandable if the food was exceptional, but sadly, it wasn't worth it. I ordered a chicken shawarma and was given beef instead. That kind of mix-up shouldn't happen, especially when it's the main item I came for. Then I ordered a burger, hoping to turn things around, but it came out overcooked--dry, bland, and far from satisfying. The only thing I actually enjoyed were the fries. They were crispy, seasoned well, and fresh--but fries alone aren't enough to justify the visit. Overall, I left disappointed and feeling like I wasted both my time and money. I'm not writing this to bash the restaurant, but to give an honest account. Hopefully they take this feedback seriously and make improvements, because right now, I wouldn't recommend it. Unfortunately, I will not be coming back.

Small portions, tasteless chicken and vegetables. Don't come here if you're hungry. We were very disappointed and the prices are high for what you get. They also add a mandatory "service fee" aka a tip but don't discourage an additional tip. Ridiculous! Read the bottom of the receipt.

Blue Fig Signature Dish

Tried the baba ghanoush and it was smoky and delicious. The fried calamari was light, crispy, and not at all greasy. We shared the Blue Fig signature dish. Everything was made fresh. Can't wait to go back!

What an amazing experience we had six people in our party we went to the Rooftop and it was surprisingly beautiful elegant just as the restaurant inside. The food was absolutely amazing. We had appetizers for 4 and dinner. All were very delicious. The waiter Oscar was outstanding and the owner both were very welcoming and even gave us complimentary hot tea at the end of the evening.

If you have not yet been to The Olive Bistro in Little Falls or Clifton, New Jersey, please stop…read morewhat you're doing and fix that immediately. This place is an absolute gem. From the moment you walk in, you're wrapped in warmth--by the people, the culture, and the unmistakable love poured into every single dish. The food? Spectacular doesn't even begin to cover it. Every visit, I either try something new or let them choose for me (which I highly recommend), and without fail, I'm blown away. Not once--not ever--have I been disappointed. Every bite feels thoughtful, soulful, and deeply rooted in tradition. The flavors are rich, comforting, vibrant, and unforgettable. You can taste the care, the history, and the pride behind the food. And the people? Truly some of the warmest, kindest souls you'll meet--welcoming you like family, not customers. I can honestly say I'm being slowly--but very happily--converted. The beautiful food, the incredible hospitality, the culture, the entire experience... it's something special. The Olive Bistro isn't just a meal, it's an experience, and one I crave again and again. Do yourself a favor: go hungry, go curious, and go often. You'll thank me later.

Durum Doner is pretty close to the gym i go to which is good...and very bad! Lol Anyway, when i arrived I didnt notice the place right away and had to do a couple of turns. Inside was nice and cozy. It wasnt a very large place but had enough space to accommodate maybe 10-15 people? There is also outside seating. I bet its nice during a nice sunny weather. As you can see in the photos submitted by many Yelpers, the food looks very good! One of the things that caught my attention was actually how they prepare their plates and how nicely the meats were cooked. When i tasted my orders, they did not disappoint one bit! Chicken and beef were very flavorful and the smell that wafted inside the car as i was bringing them home was sooo darn good it was almost torture. The rice that came with the beef and chicken gyro was flavorful for some reason and the mix of "noodle strings?" was surprisingly very good. Pita bread was nice and soft although became a bit soggy after since it was placed below the meat. Perhaps it was also to catch the oil? Hmm. But either way, i was a happy customer today and ate my big fill...Fyi after a workout. Not good!! But sometimes you just have to be bad right? Will definitely be recommending this place!

Which we had to exit out and go to the back just to use the bathroom and their dishes with ok it's more of the waiting. It was so small Me & family took over the whole seating area it wasn't much to begin with. But they definitely wasn't expecting that huge of a group to come in all at once. Some of the dishes were unique and tasty. These are some of the dishes we got - Mozzarella Sticks - Zucchini Sticks - Chicken Fingers - Qeema with Paratha [ Patistani Bread , chicken qeema, salad and mint sauce] - Reg waffle [huge] - Paratha Omelet [3 eggs, onions, green chilies, tomatoes, coriander] plus patistani bread on the side - Chai with Almond milk - Wings and fries which waited for the longest time [almost an hour] and it was still raw inside smh Overall this place was ok. The service wasn't even the greatest nor the food. Which it was quite a disappointment. My nieces food was uncooked and they only gave her a free milkshake as an apologize. I don't think we be coming back here again. When i asked one of the staff what is this wthat comes with the paratha Omelet and the staff gave me an attitude and said it's patistani bread like i should have known. It wasn't even listed on their menu that's why i asked. It's a cute place but with their rude attitude, uncooked food. No thanks
