The burgers were really good but the fish wasn't my favorite -- the outside was nice and crunchy, but the inside was a bit too chewy for my taste. This is maybe the most mixed review I have ever written because the food was outstanding, but the desserts were all style over substance. I dug so ravenously into my steak salad that had never occurred to me to stop and snap a picture before shoveling it into my mouth! Such a hearty, delicious salad with delicious and surprising ingredients. The portion was huge. Service was terrific--friendly and attentive. When you enter the restaurant, you see that it is airy and welcoming. Then your eyes are drawn to the long dessert case and through your entire meal you are constantly looking over, evenly anticipating the sweet and to your meal. we chose this gorgeous blueberry mousse, and I am sad to say that after that glorious salad, it was all style and no substance. I had planned to take a box of pastries to go, but this changed my mind. I would definitely return for all the reasons described above, but I would ask my server what their favorite dessert was, and order that. read more

Stopped in for brunch. Omelets and mono breakfast were good. Great selection of baked goods to accompany the amazingly well prepared coffees. Servers were friendly and efficient. Atmosphere is nice, loved the blue colored seating. Door is automated and keeps opening letting a chilly breeze into the dining room; this will be a problem in the Winter unless they address this. read more

Exactly what Wayne needed! More diversity with their restaurants! I love this place. Inside is decorated so gorgeous, they clearly put in so much time and effort. The owner is amazing, my first time in there he had me trying all different kinds of food, I instantly felt like family. I love their hummus so simple but so good. Their Turkish bagels are the best. I have been able to try so many different kinds of food here and I am the biggest fan. They also recently started being available on food delivery sites, which I'm so excited about. Service was great the servers were nice ... just the amount of time to get the food you would think we got a complicated meal. Went here for the first time to get something for a family party. I had no idea it was a whole cafe inside. The place is beautiful. The atmosphere is calm and peaceful. I had the pleasure of meeting Ezra on of the co-owners [I believe]. She was informative, kind, helpful, and respectful. They have handicap accessible bathrooms which is a huge plus. Plenty of seating. The pastries look like the should be in a magazine. I can't wait to come back and sit for a brunch. read more

I came home with my friends disappointed because our concert got cancelled, but then we passed The Sultan Bakery lit up in all its glory at 10:30 pm on a Friday night and we decided to give it a try. The place was packed - it's definitely a great place to meet friends to socialize when you don't want to go to a bar. It's very hard to pick a dessert from the case, because there are so many. I'm sure what I picked was meant for more than one person but I ate the whole thing - it was a chocolate mousse type cake. It was great!! My friends both ate their entire desserts too. My friend also got the Turkish coffee. That was too strong for my tastes, but she loved it. I ordered a bottled beverage from the case instead but would have tea the next time. Service was great, our waiter was funny and offered suggestions. The atmosphere inside was very bright and happy. read more

Went to Sultan Bakery for breakfast and it was awesome. We had breakfast, tried some desserts, and had tea. Everything was seriously delicious. The service was super friendly and quick, and the vibe is really nice. Only downside is it gets loud inside and the sound echoes a lot when it is busy. Both cooked to perfection. The service is 11/10 as they go above and beyond before ordering, after ordering, and in between. The ambiance 20/10; super calm chill vibes. I have been there twice for a meal. The first time I went in at noon and thought I could order lunch. I was told that breakfast is served until 3pm and I cannot order lunch. I was there at lunchtime! So I ordered breakfast. Much of it was very good but my order said it came with a hard boiled egg. I was brought a mini frying pan with 3 soft cooked eggs. I asked and was told that's how they do hard boiled eggs. I asked if next time I could get them scrambled and I was told no. The people were all very friendly so I went back again after 3. I ordered their burger and fries. It was very nice and comes with a slice of their pastrami on top of it. I will go back but I will ask more questions so I'm not surprised. I thought all I was going in for was a quick coffee to go. What I left with was a craving for a finer meal in this gorgeous venue. Who knew this was in Wayne? The woman behind the counter, most likely an owner could not have been more helpful. I opted for a Turkish coffee because....why not. She explained how to drink it since this was my first time. It's like an espresso but so much more. Apparently the custom is so have some something sweet with it. She boxed up a cookie to go for me. The cafe sitting is nice & the pastry counters full of variety too difficult to decide., bought 2 different individual pieces of cakes; Napoleon & tiramisu $9.99 each They both tasted bad hard torte not flaky and mostly cream. Life just got sweeter! The moment my wife and I walked into this place, I was in visual heaven. From the desserts to the food, your palette will know the quality of ingredients are by far one of the best I have ever had. It's the right balance without an overbearing sweetness you get from other desserts. Very reasonable prices for 5 star level quality. Beautifully designed European inspired cafe with a great menu. I ordered the burger. You can tell the meat was quality and it was topped with a slice of corn beef.....amazing combo. It came with two delicious spreads and fries. Place is open late....much needed for socializing which was lost during Covid. The energy is positive and alive. Owners are super hospitable and really care about their customers. The place was full even at a late hour. I can't wait to come here with my friends and other family members. A true cafe. All neighbors should follow this model.
