Great, friendly service. Very comfortable dining experience. Great for a family dinner or to sit for a quick slice any time of the day. Love the old school vibe inside. Kept very clean. Always a good experience here.

4 Four Cheese Pizza

We want to Franks to celebrate my moms birthday and I was excited to try a new pizzeria! The staff was very friendly and attentive and the restaurant offered a great atmosphere. My mom kept saying that she was going to get 4 cheese pizza. I thought she meant 4 cheese pizzas but it was actually a 4 cheese pizza. I thought the cheese pizza was delicious although some people thicket there was too much ricotta. The antipasto was also very good. I was disapproved that I didn't get to try their regular cheese pizza and ordered a margarita pizza. If you are reading this and between a margarita or regular pie, go with the regular pie.... Somebody was also celebrating their birthday in the back room. We had to walk through their party to use the bathroom. If you're in the area and looking to get a quick bite, give Frank's a try.

We have been to Franks multiple times with a large group as a family dinner. When there, you feel like you are at someone's home having a nice Italian dinner. They set up a large table in the back room, which is nice and spacious so you have room to move around. The place is BYOB, which is always a plus. We go so often that we know some of the waiters and waitresses, they are so friendly and attentive. For appetizers, I really enjoy the calamari salad that comes with peppers and arugula. They give you bread and a salad with your entree. The food is good, nothing fancy, but the prices are very reasonable. Additionally, they allow you to bring in dessert for special occasions.

Garlic Knots

Garlic knots burned to hell, wings were so overcooked they were rubbery and forgotten items in the order. Half of it went in the trash and the other half didn't show up lol. Also "garlic bread" is just a whole loaf of bread with some garlic seasoning on it it's not really garlic bread. That was good though!

Gluten free pizza

Don't bother. It had no taste, barely had any sauce or cheese. Crust tastes like cardboard. Paid hard earned money for a GF pie that was not edible. Why does GF have to be made with no flavor. Obviously, no one that prepared this has ever tasted it. This was a one and done. Find better ingredients or a different vendor. Otherwise don't offer GF pizza.

Arancini- traditional Italian risotto balls, yum!

Discovered Frank's on our way to the Poconos. Stopped for a quick lunch and it was terrific. Our little guy enjoyed the arancini (biggest risotto balls we've seen to date!), chicken tenders and fries and we each had a wrap- Turkey club and buffalo chicken- so good!!!Service was very friendly, lots of space and booths and clean restrooms. Five stars! Thanks Frank's!

Menu reads: "cheesesteak wrap, w peppers, onions, mushrooms & loads of melted cheese" lol

Standard pizzeria fare. Maybe one dish that's good enough, the rest are eeehhhhh. This photo was a cheesesteak wrap with the works. This was dry, bare and veryyyyy disappointing, as many times. Menu reads "cheesesteak wrap wirh peppers, onions, mushrooms and loads of melted cheese". Really??! That being said, I am VERY lenient w mishaps. issue lies in that EVERY TIME we order at Frank's past 5pm, there's a major mishap. Every time, and that's IF I get the order delivered at all. Franks, you guys can be great... locals want to give the business but consistency in your menu is all anyone would anticipate.

I think they knew we were cold and wanted to get out. We finished dining in less than an hour. I want to return (with reservations this time), dine inside, and try other dishes. Lastly, I want to commend the manager/owner in the kitchen from the pick up area. I witnessed him stopping a patron from driving. He informed the patron to stay a little longer because he had been drinking. The patron did not show any sign of intoxication and I believed he obliged. It's not often you see an establishment care for the safety of their customers and others. I was leaving with my family of four (2 young girls). I hope the patron made it home safely.

Not just pizza.... This Italian restaurant came out swinging. A group of us went here on a…read moreSaturday night. Everything was fresh and made to order. We started with the fried calamari. Not chewy. Perfectly made and obviously fresh. We also got an order of the rice balls. Excellent outer coating with a creamy rice mixture inside and covered with Vodka sauce. Lastly we went with the eggplant tower. Slices of eggplant, layered with prosciutto, tomato and mootz. For dinner, I shared two dinners with a friend. We got the Brooklyn Chicken Parm and the Squid Ink Linguini with seafood. Brooklyn Chicken was a chicken parm, topped with pepperoni and stratchatella (did I spell that correctly?) With Vodka sauce and I opted for it over pasta. The seafood dish was fresh and one of their signature dishes. The squid ink Linguini was one of the best pastas I've had. The sauce paired perfectly with the calamari, scallops, mussels, and clams. Can't be beaten. To end the night, we had the toffee cake with ice cream. To top it off, it's BYOB. From A - Z, this is one of the top places I've been to in the area. The young lady that helped us was absolutely phenomenal. I was indecisive as usual and she successfully steered me in the right direction. A must try if in the area!

I called-in my order for 1 Spinachio's Pizza - what their known for, which "features fresh spinach marinated in garlic and extra virgin olive oil, combined with our secret Spinachio mix, pecorino romano cheese, and mozzarella for a rich, flavorful bite. " The woman told me to pick it up in 20-min., and I arrived at the 20-minute-mark, I saw my pizza being taken out of the oven! What a sight! The inside of the restaurant is charming and unassuming, yet welcoming. The two ladies (owners?) were very kind in showing me the pie, and then with payment afterwards. Taste? Amazing. If you're a fan of hot spinach dips for appetizers, then this is not too far off --- in pizza-form, dare I saw, the superior form! I can see why they are recommended and highly rated. Try it out today!

When that crunchy bite of spinach and cheese first hit my mouth, I think I saw heaven. This pizza is crispy, light, slightly garlicky and perfectly melted. If you're not into spinach, the rigatoni vodka pizza was another major winner in my book. It was carb loaded in the best way! The mosaic pizza is perfect for a group with all different taste buds. You can actually choose from seven of their specialty pizzas to create this beautiful masterpiece. Don't even think about sleeping on the meatballs! They were so tender and comforting! Of course, we ended with their fluffy golden Zeppoles! Major shout out to the lovely ladies that own and operate Spinachio. Proving that women can run great pizzerias too! The whole staff was just so friendly and welcoming. The pizzeria has a handful of booths with neat murals adorning the restaurant. Making it a fun casual spot to hangout and eat. Finally one of the kids asked me if he could help me. Picked up my meatball parm and went home. Paid two extra dollars for garlic bread, and two extra dollars for extra cheese. I do not believe there was extra cheese, and for two dollars, I should have NO doubts there was extra cheese. There wasn't really even enough cheese on it for there to have been a regular parmesan sandwich. So that 13 dollar sandwich became a 17 dollar sandwich. I do not think that was a good deal. And I do not believe that it was served on garlic bread. I've had lots of garlic bread, and I can always tell it's garlic bread, mostly because it tastes like garlic. I actually forgot we ordered it on garlic bread until my last bite, which was all bread, and I noticed the distinct lack of garlic. Also missing were some meatballs. There were perhaps four or maybe five small meatballs on this 10 inch roll. It was very sparse. The sauce was good. Overall, not very impressed with this place. It was a poor first impression. I suggest training the people who work there to greet customers as soon as they walk in. Just have someone yell "Hello, we'll be right with you!". Or give a smile and a nod toward the counter. or SOMETHING. I know margins are slim at a restaurant, but maybe put an extra meatball in the sandwich, and some extra cheese on if you're going to charge two dollars for extra cheese. Don't think I'll be going back.
