Ringwood, NJ - the best pizza in the Ringwood/Wanaque/Haskell area and my favorite in the neighborhood! Nice crispy crust, neither too thin nor too thick. It's located right by the Ringwood library and playground so we like to grab a couple of slices after visiting. The staff are nice too. There are four booths inside. The menu extends to the full Italian-American repertoire: pastas, hot & cold sandwiches, calzones/stromboli, hot Italian entrees, salads, appetizers. I've not tried any of those so my review pertains only to the pizza, but I'll work on branching out more. read more

My wife and I just moved to the area and we have given the place 2 chances , one was a chicken parm sandwich and the other was a Sicilian pie, I have to say that neither of them have even come close to what we expected, the pie was far from Sicilian it was a regular pizza dough was just shaped square and as thin as any regular pie, it was made with the poorest of ingredients I'm sure the sauce was from a can and the Mozzarella was old and terribly salty, the Chicken Parm sandwich was made on the same level. We just moved to the area and decided to have a pizza one day after painting all day. We ordered on a Friday at around 3:00 p.m. I want to say. Pizza usually very good with a great crust. Salads are good but the Caesar salad does not have real Parmesan cheese they use grated cheese. I get a delivery every week for many years. I tried a few other local Pizza places but not as good. Dinners are good, big enough to share. Delivery is usually between 30 to 40 min. read more

It is so wonderful to finally have some great pizza. It just seems like places on the East Coast know how to make good pizza. The dough was cooked to perfection and had a wonderful taste to it. They put a generous amount of toppings, but they don't overdo it like some places do and I believe this is the best quality toppings I've had in a long time the staff is so much fun and so friendly. We had such a great time they're watching them make the pizza and, just a wonderful place to be it's so warm and welcoming. Stopped by my old hometown, this pizzeria is as good as it gets. Even a reheated slice was spot on, the Italian sub was made with some love, bread was perfect. This was my first visit to Ringwood Pizza. It was a Saturday at 3pm after a hike nearby. I ordered two Scilian slices, paid then took a seat. They had several varieties to choose from on display, all which looked unimpressive at first glance. They magically plumped up in size after being reheated. I enjoyed my meal while watching and listening to the local cable news. I hadn't eaten all day and I was fighting to finish it all near the end. Good food and good service. Ringwood Pizza is consistently delicious. I think this is not only the best pizza in town but also the area. Their pizza is perfect every single time - their pasta dishes are amazing - sandwiches fresh and incredible. My only "complaint" would be me wishing they did personal pies because I would order so much more if I could just get a smaller pie for 1 person. 6 years later from my last review as a new resident - - I have had Pizza 1 (who hasn't - love to know the mileage those cars put on in a week!) and a similar tasting pie from Luigi's. Didn't find either special (I guess there's a spice they're not putting enough in in their pizza sauces) - just good, standard pizzeria pizza. Also tried Gepetto's - I'll leave it as not a fan (hint: demolition and rebuild). Skyline wasn't bad, but fit in there with Pizza 1 and Luigi's. The pizza place in Haskell next to CVS (former Subway) I've never tried, however, I'll guess they did zero research on their super-competitor just down the block that magically creates a fleet of delivery cars with lighted signage every night. What's left? Back to Ringwood Pizza... Mr. Pizza Man, don't ever leave. And keep making the same delicious sauce you spice just right. Not too acidy - just right. Also, smart choice on the huge blocks of Sartori Mozzarella you store in the front soda cooler - which explains why your pizza has a perfect stretch and not too oily. Oh, and the pepperoni and sausage stromboli with the sauce on the side lets me completely enjoy the awesome sauce! I'm not a Sartori cheeseman, nor a relative of the owner of the place. Came here for lunch because its near Ringwood state park. We were starving from our hike. We ordered penne vodka, antipasto to share. And we each ordered a slice for ourselves. My friend got a side order of broccoli rabe because he is on a strict diet. His order was really good. It had a lot of smooth cooked garlic. The penne was the best dish. Very rich and hit the spot. I love this pizzeria. My dad orders it for delivery and the delivery man is on time! When i call the person who picks up is sweet, simply asks for my order and the establishment gets the order right! I'm guessing the little guy with the hairpiece sold to some substandard management. Nothing is the same as it was. The dough is different. The grandma pie was horrible! and round? This was beyond question, the most expensive, mediocre pizza with the fewest toppings I've ever endured. $23 for a pie with an average of 3 dime-sized pieces of ham per large slice! The selection of slices for quick purchase was limited, but they had a variety of pizza options available if you purchased by the pie. The Buffalo Chicken slice has great flavor and heat, although the Chicken Parm slice didn't have enough flavor to my preference.
