More like 10 stars! Frank is extremely friendly and welcoming, always excited to help. I've already visited 3 times in the past month or so. My second visit was so soon after the first that he didn't charge me for a quick adjustment (my new back tire wasn't put on correctly but he fixed it perfectly!). He also gave me a complimentary bottle of water when it was really really hot out, so nice!! He is very giving and is extremely quick! Most definitely a professional at his passion for bikes. Floating hours. I drove here yesterday and they were closed, I looked on Yelp and it said Thursday and Friday they are closed. My bad, I'll come back Saturday. Well I'm here and it's Saturday and they're closed again. I check yelp and now it says they're closed Saturday and Sunday. Truly impressed. My sister and I had flat tires, so we came here to get them pumped/replaced. When we arrived, however, the shop was closed! We gave the owner a ring and he assured us that he'd be over in 15 minutes. We waited more like 20-25 minutes but we were pretty patient. When he walked up, he told us that he'd needed to get some bike parts or he couldn't finish the repairs that he'd had for today, and that by word of mouth he had let some of his customers know that he wouldn't be in until 11 today. You'd think the wait would've earned him less than five stars, but no way! He was super friendly and he started on our repairs right away. We struck up conversation over the World Cup, and he turned it on for us. He gave us discounts for the wait, which was just another plus. My sister and I left the shop in a great mood, really impressed by his customer service. We used to go to a bike shop up the street, but never again. We'll be returning here whenever we need anything for our bikes! Give this place a shot. read more

I bought my beach cruiser here along with my best friend. I love my bike and ride it at the beach all the time. The owner is beyond nice and very helpful. He installed my baby's seat on my bike which was a PAIN, I had purchased it through Amazon and was not sure if it was going to be compatible with my beach cruiser. He figured out a way to install it and did not charge me anything. I am waiting for my other child to get just a bit taller so I can get him a bike just like mine. Thanks, Yelp, for helping me out once again. Found this place after needing my son's trike fixed. It's a special type of trike, so I was hoping for hoping for best. I was quoted a fair price and was told it would be ready next day (to allow time for special parts to arrive). I got a call saying it was ready. Brand new parts, inflated tires, and a quick tune up was thrown in as a courtesy. I was also told that parts were under warranty in case I had any issues. Great shop with great customer service. Outstanding service! After chatting with a friend who is local to the area, I called today and explained to the owner my very sad situation of having to fill up my stroller tires every time I take it out. He immediately talked me through a few options to fix them and then let me know he'd be working on a bike, but would be free right before closing. He fixed my tires, answered all of my questions and even shared a few of his personal experiences with strollers and his family shop. I will be telling everyone to go here. I've never felt more comfortable in a sitiation I know nothing about. THANK YOU for the amazing service and being so kind to a complete stranger. He tells me his point of view and suggestions but never shoves you with expensive merchandise. He makes sure you are comfortable and most of all he treats you like family. I had bought some new pedals for my bike, and I was searching yelp for a bike shop that could install them. I suppose I could have done it myself, but I think I'd rather have an expert do it. Noticing all of the great reviews, I messaged Vito through yelp to see if he could install the pedals, and he said he could; so I brought my bike in last night. Another thing, I noticed that my rear tire had somehow gone flat since my last ride a few days ago, so I asked if he could fix that too. Man where to begin! This shop is so amazing! Vito is the man. 20 years experience and it truly shows. ANYTHING you need this is your shop for sure. Plus LIFETIME services on the bike you buy from the shop. Number 1 on Yelp and I can see why when I went in today. If you care to read my story below I will explain why. Walked in today not knowing anything about bikes or what I was looking for exactly all I knew was I wanted was a road bike and I didn't want to spend over $400 not really knowing how unrealistic that was. Vito showed me a bike he had in shop that was just under $400 and it was a little older still brand new just an older model 2013 SE Royale 14 speed road bike. I wasn't really set in the bike because I hadn't done any shopping around to see what was out there and what was available so I didn't just jump right into the deal. After going to about 5-6 different bike shops all around town the cheapest thing I could find was going to run me around $700 just for the bike alone. I wasn't looking to spend that kind of money especially not for my first bike and not for a brand new hobby that I didn't Know if I would be into. Anyways came back three times before I finally decided that I was going to get the bike. Not once during those visits did I ever feel pressured to buy anything or jump into something that I wasn't sure of. Finally I decided I was going to do it and the bike is amazing the pedals see a little low but other than that I love the bike and the first day of having it I have put 10 miles on it which isn't a lot but it's a start. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. This is the worst I repeat WORST! bicycle shop around. I purchased a bicycle from them ( 3g brand new. ) When purchased I was told it would come with a lifetime warranty, stated on the receipt. After a 2 months of use, I snapped the frame. I then returned to Franks to get a new bicycle and claim my warranty. When I was talking to him, he stated that the bicycle needed to be left completely stock. He stated that because I replaced the stock Tires the warranty was voided. This place is terrible, go one mile up the street to the place that had been selling bikes for decades and spend the extra money. read more

Been going here for a few years now for simple fixes like changing pedals, help installing a new headset, or buying a new tube and every time he has always been polite and very fair on pricing. I respect that you have family matters and whatnot, just disappointed I was not able to receive the same level of service that everybody else is raving about.
