Do not buy a bike from these crooks. They sell defective bikes with bad batteries .I bought my wife a besv cf1 e bike from there and after 1 1/2 of normal use it will not charge anymore. I was told the battery is no good and that I would have to pay $400 +labor for a new one. It only worked for 1 year and 1/2 . Obviously it's adefective but because it didn't happen within a year of the warranty they can't help me. Stay away from this place. read more

The entire point of buying an ebike from a shop and not directly from the manufacturer (besides supporting local businesses) is to be able to get service. A spoke broke on my Velotric T1 ST and the repair shop couldn't replace it. I called the shop after no communication for a week, and the owner told me the manufacturer didn't have the part in stock and I might have to get a spoke specialty made from another shop. I thought this was weird, then other T1 ST owners called BS on this as many of them have had their spokes replaced (it's a known issue on the T1 ST due to having only a 28-spoke hub). We were planning on buying additional ebikes for the rest of our family from 562, but will be going elsewhere. I've recommended 562 to several people, but will now be telling others to stay away. read more

Can only fix Boomer style ebikes not knowledgeable with advanced electic bikes. Something as simple as balancing a hub motor they couldn't even do still had to pay $40 for what I don't even know. My friend balanced my hub motor for free and got it right. read more

What a great experience! Worked with Jeremy to test ride a few bikes and then narrowed our selection. My husband and I both like the Aima brand of ebike. We decided on the Big Sur for him and the Santa Monica for me. We knew we wanted them, but had to wait to make the purchase, as we needed to purchase and install a hitch on the car. A few days ago, I found myself outside of Del Taco (Alondra at the 605 Freeway), with my disabled foldable e-bike, contemplating an Uber trip to either home or my local LBS. While there, a gentleman came up and offered to help. It turns out he is the owner of 562 Ebikes (a company I've read about for over a year...but had not yet ventured to see). He drove me, and the e-bike, over to his showroom (which was very close to where I was), and proceeded, with his salesman/mechanic, to replace the punctured rear tube, and fix a recent throttle assembly issue (luckily, some of the e-bikes they sell utilize the same type...so they had the needed part). While diagnosing the throttle problem, they discovered and replaced my damaged front brake cable housing and cable, and adjusted both front and rear brakes. In the end, thanks to their care, expertise, and experience, I got back an e-bike in good, safe, working order at a reasonable price. I consider all of this to be above and beyond because my e-bike was internet-bought. Because of the electronics involved, many a LBS will only service e-bikes they directly sell. Besides the servicing, it was their friendly customer service that left a lasting impression (even beyond the extraordinary lengths they went to help me). I called a day ahead inquiring about a specific bike they had on special. Owner agreed to bring a boxed (unassembled) one in for me. Came in, met Jeremy and rode the demo and liked it. But there had been a misunderstanding or miscommunication and the new boxed ebike wasn't there. I was told I could come back in a few hours, but unfortunately I couldn't (I just drove +/-50 miles to the store). My son needed a battery and harness that was sent from the manufacturer installed on his ebike. I was turned down by a few places because his ebike wasn't the brand they sell. I didn't understand what that had to do with installing a battery/harness. There needed to be some rewiring done to install the harness so the battery they sent could work on his ebike. I guess this was to complicated for them. However, when I brought my sons ebike into 562 EBIKE the repairman at the time said there would be no problem installing the harness. I asked even if it's not the same brand as what you sell here. He replied ebikes are pretty much the same when it comes to the wiring. I picked it up the next day. I was very pleased by the price. I was expecting the cost to be at least $100 do to the way other shops said the repair would be to complicated to install. read more

I visited the store Sunday morning and left with an Aventon Pace 500 after being able to test ride it and have my questions answered. The salesman asked questions to help guide me to which bikes fit what I was looking for. Then after riding a couple made my decision. It was a no pressure low key sales which I found refreshing. I took it home and today had my first ride. Very satisfied with the business and with my bike decision. The negatives regarding the business are; their Craigslist ad has the wrong address. The one on Craigslist is somewhere on the nearby golf course down the street from them. Next is I desired some accessories like a rack, basket, and fenders which are additional on the bike model I choose. I was told they don't sell the accessories and to contact the manufacturer. I went to the web site and indeed I can order the accessories. I just wish I could have had them added at the store and picked it up later when completed. Good experience overall. I found them on Cragislist and I couldn't be happier. I recently was interested in purchasing an Ebike but everything i read about them suggest that I would have to wait several weeks to a month for shipping to finally complete. Once the item was shipped to me I would have to assemble the bike. I'm not too confident about buying things I can't see in person and with things such as a bicycle I would totally balk. At any rate I texted the number on Craiglist and I scheduled an appointment to come in on Saturday afternoon. The staff was very courteous and let me test drive the bikes to my hearts content. The showroom was very clean and organized and the staff spent a great deal of time speaking to me. I never once felt pressured to buy anything. I had a prior engagement that day and we abruptly left and I decided I would come back the next day. Unfortunately we were halfway home when I realized i had left my driver's license. I promptly drove back and went back inside. I was so impressed by the easy going nature of the staff there that I bought my bike on the spot, My son was also so impressed so we ended up buying 2 bikes! Best of all, They delivered the bikes to us after they closed at 5pm for free. The bikes were assembled, Charged and ready to ride. I highly recommend shopping here for your ebike needs, The selection is good and the fact that you can try out anything in stock is priceless. The bike I originally wanted was too large for me but I did find something super sweet that fit me just right. Alvin was super knowledgeable and friendly. He let me try out all of the bikes I had interest in and didn't get pushy in any way. He even delivered to my place in Irvine same day and free of charge! He seems to genuinely have a passion for e-bikes and told me about his various stories riding his first e-bike. His pricing is spot on with other dealers and bike shops both in the local area and online. The difference maker for me was that he is willing to assemble, demo, and deliver in the greater LA area. That's a real plus for those of us without larger vehicles or bike racks. One thing to keep in mind however, is that Electro CT PowerBike is not a full-service bike shop. So regular bike maintenance and adjustments on things like wheels, disc brakes, tires, chains, etc will have to be done at your local bike shop or on your own. If you visit his office location be aware that the signage can be pretty difficult to spot. You can't miss his big green van parked outside however. Overall, I would definitely recommend Electro CT PowerBike for your E-bike needs! I'm super happy with my new Civi Bikes Cheetah! read more

We bought an e-bike from "Electro CT Power Bike", aka 562ebikes.com, in Downey and we could not be happier with their service! We had tried to buy a Nakto e-bike from Walmart and after being delayed with no ship date in sight we found the same eBike on line at 562eBike for just slightly more money than Walmart. I called them and within 3 hours of ordering my bike on the phone it was assembled, charged and delivered to my front door! (Would not have gotten that from Walmart!). Our Nakto Camel is the least expensive ebike that I have found anywhere but it's performance is perfect my my wife's needs. She just wanted a cruise around town bike to be able to be mobile while waiting to get scheduled for knee surgery.
