Was building a project bike and needed a specific bmx stem and handlebar. Several shops I went to…read morewere not willing to order such a small quantity. A few offered, but only if o paid the shipping and processing fees. Looked on Yelp and saw Bellflower Bicycles. I used to frequent this bike shop a lot but it's been years. Heard the owner had passed and it was under new ownership. Not aware of the time, I called at 10:30am and the owner answered (this was surprising because I later realized the store does not open until 11). I asked about the parts I needed and he said "text me pics of what you need and I will pick the items up tomorrow morning before the shop opens and you can pick them up anytime after that". No request to prepay or put down a deposit. Just based on my word, the owner ordered my parts and went to pick them up. Called the following morning and the parts were there. Picked them up during my lunch break and went home to complete my build. Shop was well stocked and the staff were friendly and helpful. I know I only purchased 2 small items, but the owners willingness to go out of his way to please a customer was amazing. Definitely found my new go to spot for all my bike needs. Thank you Vito! Sorry I missed you to thank you personally.

Worst service I've experienced with a bike shop. They will only rush with customers that come in…read morewith more work needed (higher payment).. I needed my rim aligned which I was told 35 but they charged 45 when I brought it in which is ok but also said it would be done the same day. This is the third day so I stopped by to check out my rim and it was not even touched so I decided to take my rim elsewhere, but I asked the customer outside that just picked up his bike. He said there was 5 customers ahead of him and he was told to wait one hour. If you're a regular, this is a great place but if you're first timer, your money is good as trash.

A few days ago, I found myself outside of Del Taco (Alondra at the 605 Freeway), with my disabled…read morefoldable e-bike, contemplating an Uber trip to either home or my local LBS. While there, a gentleman came up and offered to help. It turns out he is the owner of 562 Ebikes (a company I've read about for over a year...but had not yet ventured to see). He drove me, and the e-bike, over to his showroom (which was very close to where I was), and proceeded, with his salesman/mechanic, to replace the punctured rear tube, and fix a recent throttle assembly issue (luckily, some of the e-bikes they sell utilize the same type...so they had the needed part). While diagnosing the throttle problem, they discovered and replaced my damaged front brake cable housing and cable, and adjusted both front and rear brakes. In the end, thanks to their care, expertise, and experience, I got back an e-bike in good, safe, working order at a reasonable price. I consider all of this to be above and beyond because my e-bike was internet-bought. Because of the electronics involved, many a LBS will only service e-bikes they directly sell. Besides the servicing, it was their friendly customer service that left a lasting impression (even beyond the extraordinary lengths they went to help me). They earned this 5-Star rating, and a customer. Thank you. P.S. If you're a Filipino (and I am that), then this place is for you....

The sales experience was great -- I bought TWO e-bikes from them, so clearly I trusted the company…read moreenough to make a significant purchase. Unfortunately, the moment you need service or warranty support, the experience is completely different. Getting an appointment with the repair shop is practically impossible. The repair guy apparently doesn't have a consistent schedule, so you're told to call the same day and basically hope he's there. That alone is incredibly inconvenient. After driving 50 minutes each way through traffic, I finally brought the bike in. Instead of trying to understand the problem, the first response I got was to accuse me of not riding the bike properly. When I explained that my 11-year-old son only rides it with me, the focus immediately shifted to finding a reason to deny the warranty claim. They pointed to a small upgrade we had made to the bike, despite the fact that the upgrade had nothing to do with the problem I was reporting. After making a 100-minute round trip, I left with no real help and a very bad impression of their customer service. The sales team may be great, but that doesn't mean much if the company isn't there for you when something goes wrong. If you're considering buying from them, make sure you live close enough that dealing with their repair department won't become a nightmare. I personally regret buying from them because of the service experience. To be clear: my problem is not with the sales department. My problem is with the repair shop and the way the warranty/service issue was handled.
