I bought my first road bike here two months ago. Before buying it, he knew I was new to the sport. Which is why I want to warn any new buyers - Beware of the free cycling shoes you get. I could not find these pair of shoes he gave me online anywhere. I think it must've been a cheap bulk buy and he's trying to get rid of them by "promoting" free shoes with bike purchase. He also failed to mention they are not compatible with my pedals. (Which he installed) When I first tried them on, the clip became loose while clipped in. And when you're cycling, clipping out incorrectly could cost you to fall. Which I did and my knee was severely injured. Thanks to his cheap free shoes. Beware of buying shoes from him, it can cost you your knee like it did for me. Don't bother going, if you do, make sure the young kid helps you out. I really had to return to their shop because I got helped out by this older gentleman that didn't even know what he was talking about or doing. I needed a brake adjustment and all this man did was tighten two bolts as he made eye contact with me and proceeded to tell me afterwards "that'll be $15 dollars" the money wasn't the issue the fact that I had to return and have my brakes actually adjusted correctly by the younger gentleman that took his time and actually looked like he knew what he was doing read more

So I came back to return a new and unused tool that I was recommended by the staff for a refund and was denied despite the fact of it still being perfectly sealed in the box so that was my first issue. I also had to bring in my bike to have a freewheel installed since the tool I got from their shop was too small to do it myself at home and the mechanic who happened to work on my bike scratched the paint of my brand new SE bike I've ridden twice now without dropping it myself. Super disappointing and I personally wouldn't recommend this place for those two issues, they're plenty of other bike shops around. read more

If you want something that's not in their store, they can get it for you fast, especially if it's a Zyclefix brand fixie. They can get you a bike from that brand as soon as the next day. 3. Huge variety of bike parts, and bike accessories. 4. They are willing to work with you, and are extremely patient with you. I'm new to road biking and I can't count how many times I've come here for all my bike problems and needs, especially with my road bike. Carlos (Owner) is very very knowledgable with road bikes, well really with all types of bikes. He and his staff are so nice, patient, and if they can't fix your problem, they'll get someone who can! 5. They don't overcharge!!! I've gone to other bike shops that shall not be named, and they wanted to charge me some ridiculous prices even for installing simple things such as road handle bars, among other things. Rear Cassette loose, Performance Bicycle says it was not torqued down to specifications, which as a novice bike mechanic, I can attest to that. The carbon handlebar is frayed due to the routing cables being routed tighter than it should have been. An expensive carbon handlebar is frayed. I'm sure it was a difficult task to route the cable, but let me know if the integrity of a carbon handlebar has been compromised so that I'm not in danger. I will need to replace the handlebar later and have to route a cable now on the outside instead of the inside to reduce further damage. I had to go back a few days to get parts that were missing and to be fair, they did their best to replace them and get them from other newer bikes there. I just wish that the mechanic paid more attention to detail, and may be admitted to his boss that he may have taken a job that otherwise was bigger than he could manage. A cassette being loose is no joke, especially when I'm ascending and descending mountains. If you can take anything from this, please pay attention to detail. Look at how other bikes are built, parts are installed, so that you do it the right way, the way the manufacturer intended these parts and components to be installed. I keep questioning how the rest of the bike is, and I don't feel safe. I think the owner is nice, and has good intentions, and because he did not personally work on the bike, not sure I can fault him. But I can't say I'll return. Sometimes spending more money to have it done right the first time, is worth more than the anxiety, headache and stress you feel for supporting a local shop and thinking it'll be done right. read more

If you are looking to buy a new bike, I recommend you go somewhere else or save your money. This shop offers no kinda of warranty for new bikes. I bought a new bike from this shop; after the first ride on a flat bike path at the beach, I notice the frame was slightly bent, I immediately took the bike back to the shop and told them that I just bought this bike and it came defective. They told me that they couldn't do anything about it and my "new GT" didn't have warranty. I had to contact GT myself, and they sent me to a nearby GT authorized dealer and that's where they help me out with the claim and I walked out with a new GT bicycle with WARRANTY at no cost. read more

Gave this place a chance to sell my bike. Completely lowballed me which I understand because they have to make a profit. When we agreed to a number, the older Hispanic lady said under her breath in Spanish to go lower because of condition. If I didn't know Spanish I would have been cheated out of a deal. Purchased a Micargi Road Bike from them a couple months ago. They said it was road checked but you cannot get the front derailer to shift on the big ring. Have gone back multiple times to ask them to look at this only to be told we're really busy right now. I paid $650 for something I can't fully use and just keep getting told to busy for repairs. You're not to busy, you're putting new bikes together. Stop and take 15min to fix the issue I'm asking about since all your bikes supposedly come with a full warranty. read more

I've been to this cycle shop twice now. Both times the employees have been very rude. Today I went 10 minutes before close to ask one question and pick up chain lubricant. I would've taken up 4 minutes of their time. I asked the employee if I can ask a question and his automatic answer was we are about to close. I expressed that the dude was rude and simply walked out.
