I just bought two used bikes for me and my son, but they just didn't feel right, almost like there was a weight holding them back. We rode down to Frank's to have them checked out and Blaine was very helpful. He was able to adjust the brakes so that they weren't rubbing on the tires, lubricate some of the bike parts and fill up the tires with the right amount of air. When two other top bikes shops (Jax's) adimitly told me my vintage beach cruiser could not be updated with hand brakes or "three to seven speed technology" (i knew i was being punked and/or being BS'd). So this passed weekend I decided to give Franks bike shop a try. Vincenzo was so helpful and knowledgeable. He, also was very eager to assist my needs and offer inexpensive solutions to my multiple ideas offering simple suggestions for updating my vintage beach cruiser. Go figure. My husband and I were in this shopping center for lunch and walked into Franks and we're happy we did. I'd been talking about getting a bike and instantly saw one I liked. Vinnie the owner was real cool, he helped us out. He didn't have what my husband wanted so he ordered it and had it within a week which was shorter then we expected. We went to pick them up in a couple days after he called and we love our new bikes. The prices aren't the cheapest but they're great quality and if we ever have any problems or need them serviced Vinnie told us to come back any time and he'll be happy to help us. Highly recommend this bike shop! Vinnie the owner is an honest man who truly places the customers needs first. He likes to be honest from the start and won't have you buy anything that is not necessary. He's straight forward and very knowledgeable with bikes. I came in for a new Beach Cruiser wheel. He could have simply sold me the wheel but instead he actually went out of his way and tried fixing my old parts because it would've been cheaper. At the end of the day, I ended up buying the wheel anyways. Very good prices and he has a wide selection of bikes and equipment. Overall, very satisfied with my visit. The owner treats his customers very well. They have a wide selection of Beach Cruisers, Fixies, BMX's bikes, mountain bikes and a bunch of other bike goodies. AWESOME JOB VINNY. Both of the bikes ride smooth. The MG ( Orange/Silver ) MB had a major tuneup. Needing all cables replaced and gears aligned. And he spent some time cleaning the 8yrs of grime built up on the bike. Well satisfied for the look, ride and having all my gears work again The MB Hyper. Had the rear rim aligned (being bent ) and brakes adjusted. With out asking he adjusted the frame suspension. Rides so much smoother. The bikes will definitely coming back for repairs. Both bikes done in two days. Now that is service. read more
