Hello all for anyone who has bicycle needs or need any assistance or advice, Cameron here @MyBicycle is definitely my go-to person in Long Beach. I even recommended him to all my biking friends and coworkers. This has been my second time going there for some assistance and he never fails. He's like Leonardo Da Vinci with a pair of Allen keys or a wrench on the cycles. He has helped me with working a new brake line and lever that integrates thru my carbon fiber bullhorn handle bars, and it came out pristine with fully functioning capabilities. I never mind the pricing due to the fact that Cameron is good at what he does, he's always reasonable on it. Even then he'll go above and beyond to make sure you're going on a smooth one for your next ride. I paid for quality of craftsmanship he displays and REAL awesome customer service. read more

My Bicycle - Here's my bike propped up for some work. - Bikes Near Me - Long Beach, California

I had such a good experience at this shop. The owner Cameron helped me fix my bike but also informed me about everything that was going on with my bike and I really appreciate that. He also has really cool tote bags, shirts, and custom vans that you can't get anywhere else. He also has surfboards and skateboards in really cool retro colors. This little shop is something Long Beach should be proud of. You can tell the hard work and passion he puts into this shop. If I could give more stars I would. Thank you! read more

Quick story, I had directions to go to pedal movement shop to get a flat repair on my road bike, directions to the down town area is horrible. So I looked up local bike shops and "My Bicycle" popped up. Small shop looked kool and it was close by where I was so I pulled up. The Owner was just about to close up and he asked what I needed and told him just a flat tire repair and he took care of me. Guy seemed really kool and chill. Price was fair and he did it quick lubricated my chain tightened up my breaks. I've read the other reviews and well I didn't get the so-called rude guy not professional vibe. So my guy if you read my review thanks for staying open and taking care of my bike I really appreciate it. read more

Took my bike here a few weeks ago and the owner was knowledge and helpful. Will definitely be coming back whenever I need help!

Horrible service, owner was jerk. Overpriced & dealing with him was so annoying. I don't care you play in a band, your customer service needs attention lol read more

Cameron at My Bicycle is fantastic! He is incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and efficient. I dropped off my bike for a full tune-up, and the turnaround was incredibly fast--it was completed in just a couple of hours. The quality of the work is amazing--my bike feels brand new, with smooth shifting and perfect brakes. Cameron also took the time to offer great maintenance tips. read more

First of all I have to say this place is Awsome ! Cameron has a lot of knowledge not only on bikes but places to have great food in the area as well! I loved that he was as able to fix my bike that same day and recommend getting better tires that will last ! Thank you for all your help and patience ! Definitely recommending to everyone and will be back ! read more

The best bike shop around! No one else I'd trust to work on my bike. The service is wonderful and the prices are good!!

I had an awesome experience here! Cameron was friendly, knowledgeable, and never made me feel pressured. They have a great selection of bikes, pay attention to the little details, and offer excellent value. I'll definitely be back for future purchases and service. read more

10-Stars for the owner Cameron. We purchased our 1st bike here 5yrs ago when we moved into the neighborhood. Then we picked up a custom skateboard for kids. A couple years later we swooped another bike cause someone stole the other one. Then swooped up 2 more custom skateboards and another bike. We have had our tires replaced due to wear and tear and recently I got my $5000+mountain bike serviced to perfection. Now it rides better than it did when I originally purchased it. We love supporting this neighborhood business. Ohana for everything read more

Couldn't be happier with an overhaul I had on a Trek. Cam is a cool dude and even if somewhere else may be a bit less (they aren't) I got extra value and extra touches, like a total cleaning, even the spokes. The bike was like new again! I appreciated the care and small town type business where relationships, advice, and trust make it a value experience. read more

I called Cameron for a couple of repairs on my bike, he said he had a few people in front of me and would get back to me to see if I can get squeezed it today. I think it was about 30 minutes later give or take and said he was able to get me in. Came into the shop a few minutes later and Cameron greeted me and took a look at my bike, and gave me the run down of everything. Honestly the nicest guy, knowledgeable about what he does best and the conversations are a 10/10. Genuinely a down to earth guy. read more

Cameron is knowledgeable and willing to work with you on what you want done. Great guy who is easy to work with and passionate about getting the job done right. Also got my project done same day! Definitely worth a call. read more

His customer service and his honesty was great. The service provided was great for a used bike I purchased. The price for the service was acceptable. read more

I have been taking my bikes here for years. Service and quality are the best. Cameron is the owner and really knows bikes, clothes, skateboards and bikes. Highly recommended! read more

Hands down the best tune up I have ever had. My Bike is 20 + years old. Many tune ups at the big stores by kids learning their craft. Owner (and only worker) has a huge level of pride in his workmanship and it shows. As I left his shop, the bike felt new (ride felt delicious) -- It was like brand new. The only downside is that when you get great quality and fantastic service, you can not expect low prices. On a $ to $ ratio, long term and performance I saved money although my CC is sad. read more

Funny how I met this guy at the beach talking about cars. He handed me his business card right after I picked up a bike from OfferUp. Perfect timing right? Took my Cannondale in for some much needed service after purchasing it from a not so mechanically inclined seller. Was able to pick his brains about groupsets functions and maintenance along with proper riding postures. His service and respect for customers are not like any other shops, definitely not the "Hurry up and buy!" Or the "Okay all fixed, here you go thank you good day" Just top notch service. 10 of 5 stars, definitely the one to geek out with when it comes to vintage bicycles. read more

My Bicycle - The Doc working his magic - Bikes Near Me - Long Beach, California

Cameron is a super cool and personable guy. I came in with a 1983 Raleigh road bike to get it back on the road after sitting for a while. Cameron let me know how rare the model I have is and fixed my flats quickly despite having numerous customers coming in. Let me know to come back for a tune up and some new tires soon but that I should ride it a bit to see the issues. No pressure or sales tactics. Very transparent about pricing. Good honest work. Rode by recently and he pumped my tires up no charge. Great small business, one of those that really makes a neighborhood. We are lucky to have a good bike shop right downtown. Recommended to everyone for their bike needs, he has some sweet bikes for sale. read more

Cameron is awesome! I just stopped by for a faulty bike seat and he fixed that, and gave me a tune up in just a few minutes. He's clearly knowledgeable and passionate. My bike rides better than any bike I've had in just 30 minutes or so. He's made a loyal customer out of me. Thanks! read more

Cameron saved our vacation! No lie! Our bikes were in bad shape--not enjoyable-- and we had another week planned to ride. Cameron is a PRO!! He fixed them quickly & at the same time, it was a very pleasant experience. Highly recommend My Bicycle!! read more

Cameron the owner of this awesome neighborhood shop is amazing. He's super cool and loves his job! He's a one man show here and he take pride in his work, it's astonishing to see some of these negative reviews that are clearly written by psychotic, entitled, rude people. Cam is a small Business owner he has the RIGHT to charge what he deems necessary and to chose his hours. Which are very clear plus he's super responsive. Mind your business if you see him helping someone else out with their issue that has NOTHING to do with you. Who's to say that wasn't his friend, family, previous business partner that he owed or whatever. You would be wasting your time and money going to Some of these other spots in LB that yes are "cheaper" but do a shit job. Cam has worked on 5 of my bikes and I think he's fair with price! Come on people, he does a great job & he's super responsive so don't cry over having to pay what's FAIR. 20$ for a fixed tire is beyond reasonable. I support this local Business and anyone else who gets on here to bash him is just a hater! Thanks for everything Cameron read more

My Bicycle - The BEST bike shop in LB! Don't confuse this with the many other bike shops in LB! - Bikes Near Me - Long Beach, California

Riding my beach cruiser back from the queen Mary to Belmont shore on a Saturday when my back tire went flat on the bridge to downtown by aquarium. Luckily Cameron was open and saved me the walk all the way home by fixing the flat and doing a quick service on the bike which was badly needed. Will definitely be back for all my bike needs! read more

Had a flat close to the shop, called them and I hoped they would be open and able to help out. I was greeted with a "come on in, we will take good care of you". Cameron was so friendly and knowledgeable. Had me back riding in less than 15 minutes with a brand new tube, an oiled chain (that he didn't charge me for) and air in my other tire. Great local small business that should be supported by all! read more

The best boutique bike shop in Long Beach! I ride a vintage Schwinn and am so happy to find someone who not only knows how to work on my bike but also loves riding as much as I do. Cameron is knowledgeable, honest, and an all around good guy. If you're looking for a quality bike, need parts, or just need a tune up, this is the place. They also have a cool selection of skateboards, surfboards and shoes read more

Wonderful customer service. I went here on a fly. I was looking for a bike shop and happened to see this one on Yelp and I saw the great reviews, so I tried the place out. It was quick and affordable. I was not pressured into buying a bunch of stuff that I didn't need. I was able to get my chains oiled, air put in my tire and a quick inspection before riding my bike. I would recommend this place. read more

On further review (four days of constant use all over Alamitos Beach) it is apparentf I didn't know what a good bike I had till Cameron empowered its full potential. I don't want to get off of it now! Decided to do my annual tune-up early this year (January 2020). I inquired about a new kick stand and I am beyond pleased with the one Cameron suggested. See the photos for explanation. read more

I found myself in Long Beach with a flat tire. The owner was a great communicator- worked me in and I was off and rolling. Loved A) the service B) the great vibe in the store. Lots off coll beach stuff and various wheels to look at while there. Shop local! read more

This dude is the best. Upfront with the cost and explained the reasons well. Honestly I've paid more at other shops for less quality work. He was personable and had my bike fixed within a hour of me being there. I highly recommend. read more

Second and last time we use owner was arrogant moved my bike from bike rack in Front of business when I ask why I got a diatribe of reasons why! Where to even begin?! My '84 Schwinn (I know that now because Cameron at the shop has a keen eye for that kinda stuff) had to go through an exorcism practically because it was not taking to any of the fixes Cameron was attempting! I went in to replace a flat, turned out the wheel was puncturing the 3 tires Cam was using as replacements, my brakes were faulty, the front alignment was off, gear shifts were busted....Cameron was SO patient and SUPER knowledgeable and had to put in the time that it takes to fix 3 bikes. He is a true-to-life bike MD and I appreciate that he took the time to help me out. I have an appointment next week to tune up my skateboard as well! Cam is the man! read more

Cameron was super helpful and made my experience awesome. He was super informative and squeezed me into his schedule when he was working on another project. He made the process super easy and gave me on heck of a deal; he also did it very fast and efficiently. Very pleasant and fixed my flat quickly. Will definitely go back. Definitely recommend.

Cameron is a great guy and he did a great job servicing my bike. When I picked up my bike, it looked brand new. I would highly recommend him and I'll definitely be back when I need service on my bike. Make sure you call and set up an appointment. He is very busy and does a great job. read more

Really appreciate the same-day service I was able to receive here. I called around 10am to get my bike looked at since I was going on a ride later (had not rode in a few months due to some achilles b.s.) and was given an appointment time for the early afternoon. He was able to call me about an hour later and told me if I could come now, he could fit me in. I rode from my house (about 15min) and arrived while he was finishing up other customers. When it was my turn, he looked it over and determined I needed to change my rear tube and put some air up in the front. After like 15minutes I had my bike, tightened up and tires on point. Price was fair. My beloved Black Booty is back on these streets, bitches! Thanks! I'll be back for a more thorough tune-up in the future. read more

My Bicycle has 5 stars for a reason. Cameron is the sole owner and operator. It doesn't appear that he has set hours, but you can call him any time to set up an appointment or find out when he'll be in. This is a full service shop. He can do repairs, restorations, or build you a bike. It says that he does sales but I didn't see any type of selection so I'm not sure about that one. He takes care of skateboards as well. My bf and I inquired about getting some things adjusted on our bikes and he gave us an appointment time. Our adjustments were done in less than 15 minutes, very affordable, and with quality work. This is a tiny shop which I appreciated because sometimes large bike shops can feel overwhelming or intimidating to those of us who aren't pros. read more

So I had to get my bike seat adjusted I gave these guys a call some gentleman picked up let him know the situation he said no problem we can adjust your seat. I ended taking my bike "keep in mind I couldn't ride it so I walked some miles" sure enough it was close so I waited outside call the number same guy picked up asked him hey I'm outside I called earlier in regards to bike seat adjustments he said we aren't open so I said okay when will you guys open he said I'm not sure maybe next Thursday. Dude you guys didn't get hit by any of the looted if that's the case update your store hours or the guy could of let me know ahead of time that they were close. I ended up going to A&D bike shop on 7th st . I called two days after The Long Beach riot and looting and posted this way after you obviously didn't read the message and scheme through it know how to read "buddy" and cheers to You mate no need for luck got another shop took care of it the proper way. read more
