The ramp is siiiiick. I built mine over the last weekend and have already had so much fun with it. I bought the 2x8 mini ramp. It fits snuggly in my garage. I took my time putting it together because I didn't want to mess anything up and am pretty stoked on what I ended up with. Had a couple of issues but their customer service was on point the whole time. They responded quickly and the whole thing was resolved just as fast. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is cause the instructions were a little hard to follow at times. The pictures were small and they would benefit from more pictures in the instructions. If they could make it more like the instructions for their quarter pipe or their puzzle wedge ramp this thing would not need anything else. Either way, I do not regret my purchase and have already had a ton of fun on my mini ramp. If your looking for something new to rip Keen Ramps is the way to go. The transition was perfect, not too mellow and not too steep. The coping was also perfect, wasn't poking up too high so my trucks won't be locking up causing me to slam. He asked them to reduce the size slightly and to their credit they did try. But when they shorted some parts of the ramp they did not account for shortening other sections. With a quick email exchange they reimbursed a small amount of the purchase price and were deeply apologetic. Overall the ramp has held and there are enough screws provided in case some pop out. Stoked on my new ramps! Ordered a pair of 2ft x 6ft quarter pipes to toss in the driveway. I reached out to Keen Ramps a couple of times when trying to decide which ramps I wanted to buy and they were insanely fast at getting back to me. I think I received a reply to my first email about 15 minutes after sending it. Not some canned "thanks for contacting us" reply. A real reply that answered my specific questions. That quick response was a huge confidence builder when making a relatively large purchase. Ramps arrived today and were super simple to assemble. I put the first one together with my 4 year old as my assistant. He handed me screws, helped hold boards in place, and drove a few screws in himself. Together we got the first quarter pipe built in about an hour (remember, my assistant was a 4 year old so there was plenty of stalling, distractions, and tangents). I took care of the second ramp by myself and had it set up and ready to rip in about 30 minutes. Everything is so straight forward that it'd be hard to screw up your build. That said, I'd definitely recommend giving Keen Ramp's YouTube channel a visit for some assembly videos which provide a few tips to speed things up / make assembly even smoother. I ordered a "Banked Rail" from Keen Ramps a few weeks ago. The handling + shipping time was longer than I hoped for, but within their estimated time frame. Cory, plus another employee, promptly answered any emails I had with questions on my order. The banked rail arrived today and, surprise to me, was already assembled (their site indicated us East Coasters would have to assemble this ramp). That was awesome to see. Made my life just that much easier. I haven't ridden the rail yet, so I cant speak to its quality under a skateboard, but the materials and construction seem on point. I've built a few ramps, both concrete and wood, so I have some experience with ramps. I can definitely say this would surpass my DIY attempts at the same concept. So far, not very good. My 14 year old son ordered a ramp for himself with his birthday money, on Black Friday. It's December 16th and we still do not have a valid shipping confirmation. When I reached out to customer service last week to find out what was going on Cory told me that it was lost at the FedEx location. (It's a quarter pipe, so tough to lose...but whatever...) I've since asked three times for a new shipping confirmation, and a week has passed, and have not heard anything. I'm giving it 24 more hours before I call my bank and report the transaction as unauthorized. I'd beware before buying online from Keen Ramps. This company is either completely shady, or just not set up for online fulfillment. What a disappointment to have to tell my 14 year old that he's not getting his birthday ramp. Lame. read more
