I've been to multiple skate shops, and I can't put into words how rad this shop is. The inventory they have is absolutely mind blowing. This is important because stepping your foot into multiple boots before you buy one is mission critical. Especially when you're going to be spending over $1000.00 on a quality boot. The idea of paying for a boot and walking out with a custom set up the same day as possibility here in itself is worth the 2.5 hours I drove to get here from San Diego. Customer service is something they prioritize and I can't tell you how sweet it was to walk in have them size me up for my second boot. The years of experience in this shop is so comforting since the sizing between the Riedell boot line is so different. ONE STOP SHOP !!! They carry everything your skating heart desires! My partner and I walked in this morning to get him his very first pair of custom quads. He is finally transitioning from in-line skates and has made the move guys!! Pete, who happens to be the owner, helped us out tremendously today. I had very badly stripped a screw on my plates and even though I knew I could probably get someone closer to me to get it out, I felt like the people here would put more care into it and would have the expertise/experience to do so without damaging any other parts. I was right! They were so careful not to get my light-colored suede boot dirty and took the time to carefully drill into and then extract the screw. Price for the service was very reasonable and I could not be happier. I was really impressed with the amount of care they put into a seemingly small, inexpensive task and this gives me a lot of confidence that they would put the same care and effort into putting together a pair of custom skates. They have a really wide selection of wheels, plates, and boots, as well as deals on complete skates. They also take orders for Riedell Color Lab and will size you for the boots as well. Today I decided to visit this skate shop since I started my roller skating journey. When I first pulled up to the shop, I waited a little before going inside but thankfully they had some chairs and umbrellas provided while you waited to enter. Since I came a little after they opened I probably waited about 20 mins or so since there were a few customers already inside. Once it was my turn, I was automatically greeted by an associate named Pre. He asked me politely what I came in the store for and mentioned I was looking for a cleaner for some bearings. He mentioned that they were sold out of them but did ask how long I had them for. When I mentioned that it hasn't been for that long, he told me that I could just clean them up with a air compressor. He has asked me if I had my skates on me (which I did in my car) and was nice enough to tell me to grab them and clean them up a bit. He also let me know about dirty bearings and when I should actually take time to clean them up. While Pre was cleaning them, I was also able to ask him some questions about trucks and skates. Even though I felt like I was asking so much since I am a beginner skater roller skater (I'm a in-line blader) he did not hesitate and had an answer to everything I asked. He was also very knowledgeable about different skate brands and explained the best skates I should purchase for my buck. With that being said, I did end up leaving with just a new set of Luminous glow and the dark wheels (which by the way they have a great selection with many colors available). My trip was definitely very successful to say the least! I may not have gotten what I originally came for but I was still able to get a little more information on roller skates from the different brands to look into all the way to the little details & materials when looking for a new pair of skates. I also would like to add that this is the third roller skate shop I have visited this past month. The staff here is truly the best. I didn't feel that intimidation being the beginner that I am. They were all super kind, friendly, and definitely informative when it comes to roller skates! Would definitely recommend this place to my friends and to anyone that wants to get into roller skating! read more

Buying instore is more expensive than buying online for instore pickup. I bought a pair of Riedell 172 OG Roller Skate Set + Aerobic Outdoor Wheels. Total came out to $837.90 vs $825.77 online. I was charged $11 more ($710 vs $699) for the OG set. It's not a huge difference, but enough to be an annoyance. I walked in with some knowledge on skating. I am a beginner but i do have my wants and do not wants. I walk in and a gentleman on the other side of the counter helps me and my friend. However, there is a gentlemen on my side of the counter having not only Smart remarks but trying to tell me what to get with a skate. Now i know what is best for me for a new beginning skater in a community but don't dictate what i can and cannot buy that's annoying and your not my. Parent nor buying anything for me.
