I was excited to potentially get some posters framed here because I can tell this shop is professional in the framing jobs they do, but this rating is mostly due to customer service miscommunication. I called the shop earlier in the day to ask if they would accept a half down payment for the total cost of the frame job because most frame shops will work with you on that and this was the only way I could afford it. The guy I spoke to told me they had stopped doing it due to customers never showing up to pick up their framed items, but could potentially work with me as long as I made the full payment BEFORE picking it up which I was more than happy to do. I showed up in person later with my poster to go over the matting, frame choices etc. and it was a different guy who I didn't speak to over the phone. When I got my quote at the end, I was told they would not accept any down payment and needed the full payment before cutting the frames. While I understand the reason for this and that they want customers to commit to paying them, I wish they had some clarification on their website and/or I didn't get mixed information when I spoke to the man on the phone because I feel like it was a waste of my time to come in and go through choosing the matting/poster frame. Nonetheless the framing jobs are beautiful but not a fan of the mixed customer service I received, would have been happy to give them my business if they offered down payments. read more

Very happy with my framing job. Selection perfectly matches the art piece. Professionally handled and cared for. This was a last of its kind Wyeth print from the 70s with no option to buy again so I wasn't willing to risk a place like... ABC Corporate USA Frame Shop in a craft store. Those places are fine, but Frame Central put me at ease and insures the product from damage. Anyway. Great customer service. Decent selection. Great outcome. Not cheap, but that wasn't my goal. I purchased a scarf in 2012 with the sole purpose of framing it one day. 8 years later, I decided to finally pull the trigger. Considering the size if the scarf, I knew it would be pricey but worth it. I also knew it would be a difficult task since I can only imagine how hard it would be to center a silk fabric. Especially one that that ended up being 58"H x 78"L. When I got home and removed the cover, I was so happy to see my vision finally come to life. GREAT job and AMAZING customer service! I had two older art posters that I wanted reframed. Dennis was superb at helping choose the right frames, matte, and glass. Later, when I came back to see if we could accelerate delivery to surprise my wife, Frame Central made it happen - she was thrilled. The quality of the work is spectacular, even down to pieces of felt on the back corners to avoid scratching the wall. But the real story happens a few weeks later, when my frame picture suddenly fell off the wall and smashed, due to the hanger ripping out of the drywall. I took the poster in its smashed frame back to Frame Central, complaining that the hardware they provided wasn't adequate. I had brought the hanger with me, and Dennis pointed out this was *not* the hardware he had sent me home with - I must have made a mistake and used the wrong hanger. HOWEVER, Dennis told me he was going to fix my frame anyhow, for free, even though it was my mistake. This was not an inexpensive frame (I chose solid wood and museum quality glass, somewhere around $800 or so). What an amazing experience. Thank you, Dennis and Frame Central! read more

I had this framed over a year ago by Frame Central. This was a very delicate piece of tree bark art that required flattening and securing to the framing. They did such an amazing job securing the art with no damage and you don't even notice the areas it was secured. The staff worked with me on identifying the perfect combination of framing, glass and colors. Unfortunately it was outside of my budget. Wow, I am so incredibly happy with Frame Central! My partner and I brought in a piece of art we won at an art auction but had no clue how to frame it. We initially tried picking a frame from the samples on their wall but struggled to find anything. We've used these guys for a number of things over the years. They've always provided thoughtful guidance on matching frames and matting to each piece--everything they've done has exceeded expectations. We had a large sketch on delicate tissue paper that had been folded/creased for years and had never been framed or displayed. We thought it was ruined, but they fixed it without fuss. We were shocked at how good the finished product looked. They framed another very large piece for us 8-ish years ago. Recently we had a structural problem with the frame (and the bracket that attached the wire). I took it in and they offered to reframe it at no cost to me, without me even asking. Dennis the manager is fantastic, but honestly we've had nothing but positive interactions with everyone there recently and over the years. I can't recommend Frame Central highly enough. read more

Framing is an art form so it's nice to be helped by people with an eye for color and discerning taste - Price: get ready to empty your wallet unless you carry fat stacks (lucky bastard). $118 for a custom job framing an 8 x 10-inch painting, and I even saved $10 by going with a cotton rather than linen matte job. (The linen looked a bit nicer but c'mon, I'm not Bill Gates.) Gonna be lovely tho, I've bought from them before and it's always quality. - Quality: Poyfect. They look great and they are protected against wear-and-tear by mysterious backings and glass that only people who listen to their spiel understand. One of the BEST retail experiences I have ever had - and with long-term excellent outcomes! Ok, I have delayed writing this review (I came in a couple weeks ago) but I feel completely ready to say: these folks are THE BEST. Not just the people, but the selection, product quality, general experience, and value for money. I came in looking for 6 - 8 standard size pre-made frames for a bunch of art, photos, and posters I was framing for my new home. I was not looking for custom framing that day, but when I am, I will be back. Yes, you could probably find "cheaper" frames online, but all of their stock is beautifully put together, great selection of colors and wood styles for frames - and colors for mats as well - that you can do really well by yourself and by your art in person at Frame Central. My mom and I brought in an art portfolio full of pieces, and happily went through finding the right piece for each from Frame Central's stock. We found perfect frames for very different pieces - from a historic photo to a band poster to an original painting. The prices were competitive, reasonable, and totally worth it. The staff were super friendly and chill - let us do our own thing finding matches but were there when we had questions. Once we got home, our investment paid off. Between my mom and I, we framed 8 pieces of art in less than 30 minutes (in a house with a cat so we were dusting everything throughout). Well-made frames and easy to assemble = total win. We have been framing our art at Frame Central for the past several years and could not imagine going anywhere else! All of the employees are friendly, knowledgeable and professional. All of our frames have turned out exactly as expected and our art looks beautiful!
