Reservations are a must for this experience, and from the moment we arrived, the speakeasy-inspired atmosphere, elegant décor, and carefully curated music set the stage for an unforgettable night. Every course was exceptional, but the Summer Garden Salad immediately stood out with its vibrant citrus notes and earthy flavors that seemed to burst with every bite. The Agneau and Black Label Filet de Bœuf were remarkably tender, with the steak being perfectly seasoned and among the most flavorful dishes I've ever tasted. What truly elevated the evening was the impeccable hospitality. Our server, Dimitri, expertly guided us through each course, explaining every detail with warmth and professionalism that made the experience feel magical. Owner Julie's passion for both the food and guest experience was evident throughout the evening, and the talent of Executive Chef Stephen Rinaldi and Chef de Cuisine Sebastian Zowal shined in every dish. This wasn't simply dinner--it was a culinary experience I'll remember for years to come. If you're looking for a truly special meal, Loren is an absolute must-visit.

We both ordered the beef short rib, along with the fougasse and Parmesan frites, and every bite was outstanding. We literally cleaned our plates! The chocolate espresso truffle was the perfect ending to the meal. Rich, decadent, and absolutely delicious. The martinis were the best we've had in a long time, perfectly balanced and expertly made as ordered. The real standout, though, was our server, Kristie. She was warm, attentive, fun, and made the entire experience even more enjoyable. Service like hers turns a great meal into a memorable one. We highly recommend Loren to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience in Spokane. We can't wait to come back!

Parking is street parking only, and it gets tight once the restaurant gets busy. The atmosphere started out quiet but quickly turned lively as the night went on. The space feels clean, cozy, and homey, a good mix of casual and upscale without feeling stuffy. Service was excellent. We were greeted and seated right away. Our server was friendly, professional, and perfectly timed, attentive without hovering or rushing us. For food, I ordered the Brussels sprouts with jalapeno, ham, and parmesan, also had the butternut squash agnolotti with sage butter. The agnolotti was well made and rich, though a touch on the sweet side for my taste. The Brussels sprouts were fine, but the mild jalapenos caught me off guard. My friend had the chicory salad and really enjoyed it. In hindsight, I wished I had gone with something a little lighter too. Overall, it was a good meal with warm service and a comfortable atmosphere. I would go back, but next time I would explore another item on the menu.

On my first night, I sat at the bar and ordered a Grapefruit Drop before getting a burger to go. The bartender was friendly and attentive, and the drink was excellent. Bright, citrusy, and well balanced. The Table 13 Burger was fantastic, cooked just right with fresh toppings and crispy fries. I brought it back to my room and enjoyed it while catching up on email, and it hit the spot. The next night, I went back and ordered the same Grapefruit Drop again because I liked it so much. I tried the Fish and Chips this time, and it was delicious with crisp batter and tender fish. The slaw was crisp but mild, kind of the vanilla of slaws. It added texture but not much flavor. I finished with the Huckleberry River Cake, a creamy and tangy dessert with a rich berry sauce that was absolutely scrumptious. The atmosphere was relaxed. I was there on a work trip traveling solo and felt comfortable sitting at the bar. There were plenty of other guests talking and enjoying themselves, but it wasn't overly loud. Service was great both nights, and the location off the main lobby is convenient. The food was excellent, and the experience was consistently good. I would gladly eat here again.

I got the roasted half chicken, it comes with asparagus and rice but I substituted the rice for broccolini, and it came with a side of spinach soup. It tasted really good, chicken was marinated and roasted to perfection. The asparagus and broccolini were cooked just right. It still had the right amount of crunch and it was lightly seasoned. Service was great, the hostess took my to go order and I sat and waited for 25 minutes. She was friendly and helpful. Ambiance is nice, I didn't ear there but it has plenty of seating and decor was nice.

I decided to try the ube latte with regular espresso and a pandan latte with white coffee. I got them both with oat milk. I was worried these would be too sweet but it actually was perfectly sweet and the flavors balanced out really well. The flavors are unique, I just wish there was more ice, which I will ask for next time. I saw they had ube crepes, but when we went they didn't have it and onto had ube croffles, so I decided to try that. We also wanted to try the chicken melt crepe. I really enjoyed the croffle, it had a delicious chocolate flavor but wish it had more ube flavor as it was very faint. The chicken melt crepe was okay, but not my favorite. I feel the lemon didn't match, and it was inconsistently seasoned. Some parts were extremely salty, while others were not salted at all. It was nice to try but I'd try something else next time. Overall I would return again, but I'd try a different crepe and hoping they have ube crepes next time I visit.

It feels like walking into an old beer cellar or something from a Wisconsin brewer's past. The food does not disappoint. I had the mushroom stroganoff and it was divine. Listen up vegetarian peeps, you'll enjoy this dish. There're fun options for everyone. The barkeep definitely needs to be raved about. I first got to have mangrove during last summer, I went out for breakfast with my sister, and we stopped here on a whim. Was a little apprehensive at first because the restaurant is a home (not used as one though:) ) we shared their breakfast crêpes, I bought the fruity version and she had the savory version and we just split them down the middle. These were the most delicious crêpes I've ever had. The fruit was so fresh, delicious and sweet, I hadn't had fruit like this since I last visited Florida. And their portion sizes are pretty decent too. I was able to try their lunch menu this last Wednesday and I was genuinely in awe of how delicious the whole menu was. The kaosoi soup was out of this world. It was so rich in flavor and the spice was perfect, really coconutty and a beautiful curry base. I had so much that I was able to eat it again for dinner. I ordered a cup of rice to dip into the soup. The Thai fried rice was also delicious. It has a seafood base which tasted amazing with all of the citrus and to finish off our meal we had hot ginseng tea, which I'm surprised I haven't tried sooner because I love herbal teas. It has now been added to my shopping cart because ginseng has such a full body flavor that I can't get enough of it! The way they decorated this was adorable, the owner's personality really comes out in the way they set up the place. There's a lot of seating, but I don't think it would be good for a group bigger than four. The customer service is also great. The husband takes all of the orders and his wife creates all of immaculate dishes. They're a sweet older couple, hence the odd hours as they're slowly moving towards retirement. Come check them out!!
