Thoughtful, flavorful, and seriously appreciated. What We Ordered at Lorèn: * Burrata - creamy perfection with roasted grapes & grilled focaccia * Bistro Salad - butter lettuce, candied walnuts, herbs, and 1836 olive oil vinaigrette * Rouge Salad - arugula, pickled beets, whipped goat cheese, citrus, pistachios * Lorèn Beef Burger - espresso bacon jam, black garlic aioli, butter leaf, and gorgonzola. Served with fries and major flavor. * French Onion Soup - God tier. That rich broth & melty cheese? Worth the hype. * Espresso Martini - bold, smooth, and perfectly balanced * Fly Me to the Moon - a cocktail with charm (and a glittery plane ) * Semifreddo Dessert - rich, chocolatey, decadent * Off-menu vegan lentil loaf - made just for my brother's birthday. Totally custom, totally appreciated. A thoughtful gesture from the chef that made the night extra special. Lorèn isn't just dinner -- it's a vibe.

To top it off, it was my birthday, and I was treated to a complimentary sorbet dessert complete with a candle, such a thoughtful gesture. Our server, Dimitri, was incredibly friendly and attentive, which made the evening even more enjoyable. I truly appreciate when Spokane businesses go the extra mile to accommodate dietary preferences, and this experience was a perfect example of that. Huge thanks to Loren as well, I've never seen a restaurant show such care for vegan guests. Truly outstanding!

OUTSTANDING meal at this downtown spot…read more The dining room is on the first floor, there are stairs to a lounge downstairs. Dining room is classic steakhouse style. Dark colors, muted sound, formal draperies, fresh flowers. And of course the obligatory wine locker for regulars. The room exudes classy upscale. We were seated immediately. Our server Monica was fantastic. Friendly, charming and professional. She wowed us with the presentation of the beef choices and helped with some solid recommendations. She kept the meal moving at a comfortable pace with the right amount of attention. THANK YOU! A basket of warm, fresh-baked bread is served after wine is poured, with imported Belgian butter and a tiny ramekin of sea salt for seasoning. Delicious crusty rolls, airy in the center, warm enough to melt the butter. We began with a burrata appetizer. The cheese was excellent - fresh, creamy and a little sweater than mozzarella. It's served on a platter loaded with sliced yellow tomato drizzled with olive oil and balsamic glaze, tapenade, capers, bruschetta, olives and sliced crisped bread. Plenty to share and delicious! Plenty of entree options on the menu. But if you're at a steakhouse, you order.... STEAK! Opted this time for filet mignon. The test of a great steakhouse is if they serve the steak at the right temperature. Churchill's NAILED IT! Perfectly medium rare, nice crunchy salt & pepper sear on the outside, juicy, dark pink, flavorful and fork tender in the center. This is among the best steaks I've ever had. Others at the table tried a couple of the other available options - bleu cheese topping, oscar-style (asparagus and lump crab meat). All of the steaks were perfect. No room for dessert this time. We vowed to start with dessert next visit. Be aware, this isn't Outback. It's expensive. You're paying for high quality ingredients, skilled kitchen, stellar service and a classy environment. Totally worth it the cost. GO!!!!!

Parking is street parking only, and it gets tight once the restaurant gets busy. The atmosphere started out quiet but quickly turned lively as the night went on. The space feels clean, cozy, and homey, a good mix of casual and upscale without feeling stuffy. Service was excellent. We were greeted and seated right away. Our server was friendly, professional, and perfectly timed, attentive without hovering or rushing us. For food, I ordered the Brussels sprouts with jalapeno, ham, and parmesan, also had the butternut squash agnolotti with sage butter. The agnolotti was well made and rich, though a touch on the sweet side for my taste. The Brussels sprouts were fine, but the mild jalapenos caught me off guard. My friend had the chicory salad and really enjoyed it. In hindsight, I wished I had gone with something a little lighter too. Overall, it was a good meal with warm service and a comfortable atmosphere. I would go back, but next time I would explore another item on the menu.

On my first night, I sat at the bar and ordered a Grapefruit Drop before getting a burger to go. The bartender was friendly and attentive, and the drink was excellent. Bright, citrusy, and well balanced. The Table 13 Burger was fantastic, cooked just right with fresh toppings and crispy fries. I brought it back to my room and enjoyed it while catching up on email, and it hit the spot. The next night, I went back and ordered the same Grapefruit Drop again because I liked it so much. I tried the Fish and Chips this time, and it was delicious with crisp batter and tender fish. The slaw was crisp but mild, kind of the vanilla of slaws. It added texture but not much flavor. I finished with the Huckleberry River Cake, a creamy and tangy dessert with a rich berry sauce that was absolutely scrumptious. The atmosphere was relaxed. I was there on a work trip traveling solo and felt comfortable sitting at the bar. There were plenty of other guests talking and enjoying themselves, but it wasn't overly loud. Service was great both nights, and the location off the main lobby is convenient. The food was excellent, and the experience was consistently good. I would gladly eat here again.

It tasted really good, chicken was marinated and roasted to perfection. The asparagus and broccolini were cooked just right. It still had the right amount of crunch and it was lightly seasoned. Service was great, the hostess took my to go order and I sat and waited for 25 minutes. She was friendly and helpful. Ambiance is nice, I didn't ear there but it has plenty of seating and decor was nice.

Listen up vegetarian peeps, you'll enjoy this dish. There're fun options for everyone. The barkeep definitely needs to be raved about. Hallie is knowledgeable and cares about the cocktail she prepares. She knows the classics and she'll work with any spirit needs you desire. She blended 2 rums for me to make a classic style daiquiri with a hint of the Plantation Pineapple Rum. That cocktail should just be named after the barkeep because she is as sweet as they come. I first got to have mangrove during last summer, I went out for breakfast with my sister, and we stopped here on a whim. Was a little apprehensive at first because the restaurant is a home (not used as one though:) ) we shared their breakfast crêpes, I bought the fruity version and she had the savory version and we just split them down the middle. These were the most delicious crêpes I've ever had. The fruit was so fresh, delicious and sweet, I hadn't had fruit like this since I last visited Florida. And their portion sizes are pretty decent too. I was able to try their lunch menu this last Wednesday and I was genuinely in awe of how delicious the whole menu was. The kaosoi soup was out of this world. It was so rich in flavor and the spice was perfect, really coconutty and a beautiful curry base. I had so much that I was able to eat it again for dinner. I ordered a cup of rice to dip into the soup. The Thai fried rice was also delicious. It has a seafood base which tasted amazing with all of the citrus and to finish off our meal we had hot ginseng tea, which I'm surprised I haven't tried sooner because I love herbal teas. It has now been added to my shopping cart because ginseng has such a full body flavor that I can't get enough of it! The way they decorated this was adorable, the owner's personality really comes out in the way they set up the place. There's a lot of seating, but I don't think it would be good for a group bigger than four. The customer service is also great. The husband takes all of the orders and his wife creates all of immaculate dishes. They're a sweet older couple, hence the odd hours as they're slowly moving towards retirement. Come check them out!!
