Thank you Katie!! These turned out incredible!! So appreciative of this salon, everyone was so kind and helpful. Katie did this acrylic set for me and went above and beyond making sure that it was something I'd love while still being in my price range!! This set was $85 before tip. Definitely recommend!!
I unfortunately cannot with this place anymore. I keep going back hoping to have a better experience and today I've just had it. I had an extremely small window to get a pedicure before a trip and this is what I ended up with. They are so friendly and always have good availability, but I'm out 1.5hrs and another $70 and now I have to go spend double my time and money just to get it fixed somewhere else and I'm pissed. The gentleman that did my pedi was kind, he gave a great massage, but his hands were a bit trembling and I knew it was going to end up a disaster at the first swipe of the brush. I let it slide, asked him to fix a few spots, he acted like he didn't understand or care, charged me $60, I tipped $10 and there you go. I took my sock off to find the edges I had asked him to fix completely peeling upwards on both feet. Last time I was in there, I got a manicure with no polish, I needed my cuticles cut and give my nails a little bit of shape with a color break. The girl cut my cuticle and I was bleeding a lot. I felt bad and tried to wrap my finger and keep it out of the way or even tell her she could just stop since I wasn't getting any polish, every effort I was told no. Everybody in the place made such a big deal about it and they kept blaming me that I was forcing myself to bleed more. Umm ok?!?!. Yet, they still charged me full price I tipped generously bc I felt so bad and then as I walked away i could see inside the window and I watched the manicurist mock what had just happened. I'm over it. I just can't recommend this place any longer.
I needed a last minute pedicure and walked in at this place. They were able to take me in right away. I'm not going to lie, from the outside, I wasn't sure, if I was going to like it. But, once you're inside, you're greeted right away with good ambiance. The place was clean and spacious. I ended up getting the spa pedicure with gel nails. I thought the price was reasonable and the leg massage was great! Overall, great visit!
This was my first time at foxy nails, and I was with Tiana. In my review, I have posted the inspiration pictures for the nails that I requested and a picture of the nails that I was given. The service I would say is luxury. I have been to nail technicians before, but I really enjoyed this nail salon. As soon as I came in, I was greeted kindly and asked if I wanted a water which they provided immediately. Once I was sat down, it was exactly at my appointment time which was great and timely. The nail technician was kind and inviting. She asked if that was exactly what I wanted and through the whole process confirmed if I liked what I was receiving. She asked about if I liked my shape and I said yes and so on and so forth, which I found great as far as quality goes. I love a technician who continually makes sure that I'm happy with the work being done on my hands. I received a couple of compliments from some of the technicians which I thought was very sweet and made me feel welcome and like they were happy I was there. So by far service was top-tier. I really loved my nails and the way that they came out because it was exactly as requested. The inside of the Salon is extremely clean and very modern. The decorations are adorable, and it was definitely giving "luxury". I would totally recommend this place and I will be coming back!
Worst experience ever! My best friend and friend talked great about this place and my manicure and pedicure were not worth 100 dollars. The guy working on my toes and feet (same guy) was shaking the whole time. My hands were shaking with his and everything was messy. I was rushed when the three of us made appointments. My friend who requests a specific person had to switch to someone else because they over booked who she requested. The design wasn't even what she wanted it was whatever the guy wanted. To top it off there was another lady who was upset and left because she had an appointment and they over booked her too. This seems to be a reoccurring issue it sounds like. I will not be returning. 100 dollars for a terrible experience is insane.
I'm super happy with this little out of the beaten bath salon. They were very welcoming and the quality of service was great. Lily was very nice and made suggestions on color based on my skin tone, which was great because my last pedicure was a disaster on color. She even did super cute French tips really short so I can still play guitar. They match my toe color! I would loved to have had some music in the background but it didn't deter from the happy vibe here.
I am so sad to report that after my 5th visit here with outstanding service I have never felt more low as a customer. My friend made 3 total appointments for mani and pedis, hers with Pi and mine with Peter and the 3rd who ever was available. We were told Peter would have a customer but would be available at 10am for me. She secured the other 2 appointments at 945 with Pi and any other avail tech. We arrived early at 930 and we were told Pi was out sick and asked if another tech was ok. We accepted the new tech and we were sat for our pedicures. I have been seeing Peter for 4 going on 5 months and specifically requested him because I enjoy his work and he matches my design requests. Today I showed him another design and he said no problem for pedi and mani. When he showed the designed I said it was ok but not what I wanted but could work with it since the same would be on my nails. He then moved me to his desk and began my manicure. After soaking and shaping another technician came and tapped me on the shoulder and said Peter was doubled booked and asked if it was ok someone else completed my manicure. I was lost for words but said ok. I watched Peter leave half way through my service to go help the other second booked appointment in the pedicure stations. I waited a few moments and no one came so I turned around to my party and told them what had just happened. I said "they double booked Peter and pulled him half way through my service" after a few minutes I was moved over to the woman who sits 2 desks from the cash register. She seemed apologetic in the beginning but over the course of finishing my service and correcting the design on my toes to match my nails, things changed. As I sat there getting my manicure done, another woman came in to find out they had also double booked her appointment. She began to get loud and said it was the 3rd time it happened to her. I had sympathy because it was happening to me in that moment. The woman ended up leaving. During the course of my manicure I witnessed the phone be answered 4 times, appointment slots given, and nothing written in their book. It was very clear to me what happened to me today. It also happened to the woman. And will more than likely happen to future patrons to this business. The tech doing my manicure offered to redo the design on my toe in which I did let her to it, I was already upset with what had happened I didnt want to leave upset with a design. During the course of the redo she offered that my service be completely free. I stayed completely quiet. I did not want a free service. I wanted the services I made appointments for with the tech I requested. I understand things happen, however, the course they took today was not the best in my opinion. I paid for my service in which they gav $15 off to me and the other 2 females in my party. Peter, you do great work and I'm sorry this happened but I can no longer move forward with the shop.
I wish I listened to the other negative reviews. I was cut pretty badly here during my pedicure and manicure. Every toe was cut a little but the big toes were the deepest and worst. I didn't realize it was that bad until I got home and it was bleeding a lot. I was up most of the night because it was so painful. I got my nails done because I going on a vacation for my 30th birthday and will not be able to go in the water or hike now due to the risk of infection. It completely ruined my trip. I am so devastated. I also got a gel French manicure but was only given 3 tips on my nails. When I saw only three nails with tips, I asked again for the technician to do a full set. She told me that she would have to charge an extra $20 (for a total of $75) to remove the 3 and put on a full set. I don't think the customer should have to pay extra for a nail technician's mistake. The nails are okay but super thick and she don't push your cuticles before applying gel so it gives a really bulbous appearance. I also was cut on my thumb as well. Please see the photos for that. I talked to the owner to try and find a solution because I paid over $100 for these services. I was just offered a $25 gift card if I wanted to come back (which I will not be doing since I was injured here). I asked the owner to comp at least some of my service and I was told that I was lying about being cut on each toe and even if I was that "it wasn't that bad" after showing a photo. He told me "being cut was part of the process of getting a pedicure". I've never gotten cut to the point of bleeding before. Please do not come here.

All I have to say is THIS WILL BE MY GO TO PLACE. I'm new to Reno so me and a friend were looking for nail salons to get a little spa day done for us, this place is amazing it's super clean they have complimentary drinks, super nice! I will say the only thing I didn't like is the guy that did my nails didn't do the shape I asked for even though he said he knew what I was talking about even showed a photo to make sure and he was 100% sure he knew but didn't but that's ok! I'll just go to the lady that did my fronds nails cause she did Phenomenal or someone else! read more

I walked in, knowing my request would be complex, but I was committed. Not only were my expectations met, they were exceeded. Vanna, the wonderful woman she is, not only helped me switch from acrylics to gel x but also worked with me nail by nail to create my dream holiday nails. If you have the time and patience to get amazing service, artwork, and detail, do not hesitate to come. I only stopped by because I was in the Summit, so it was on my way back to East Sparks, but I can promise this will be my go-to nail place from now on. read more

Im new to reno and needed a nail shop to call home! I came to Foxy Nails for a pedicure and a Short full set Gel polish for both Lanie was amazing on my pedicure very gentle very professional! We had small talk and laughed a lot! The entire staff was amazing! They offered drinks and catered to the elderly clients with care and patience. The atmosphere was amazing and relaxed. Spending $40.00 have a bad nail cut done without using all the normal tools to clean cut and shape your nails is bad, but not to file them so they are straight...really. If you don't want to do a good job don't take it out on your customers!! read more

I've been going to Foxy Nails for a couple months now and they are so welcoming and friendly to everyone who walks in through those doors. I've been getting Gel-X fills and pedicures here. I had the opportunity to get a fill by Nick. He took his time and shaped it the way I wanted it to be. It was my first time getting cat eye effect and I was amazed by the results. Shout out Hannah, she NEVER misses! My favorite nail tech to date, she's patient, fast, amazing, she's been able to do every crazy design I've brought to her and the best part is the strength of the set. I bartend so tend to chip and break nails if they aren't very strong, I have yet to break one after she does my full set. I always used to have at least two or three missing when it came time for my fill until Hannah. She's now the only person I'll go to. Book with Hannah for a perfect set, a beautiful energy and atmosphere. I'll continue to brag about Foxy Nails, they hold such a special place in my heart now. read more

Unfortunately, not the best experience that I've had nail tech was nice, but my nails are all different lengths and different sizes. She didn't even compare nails to make sure that they were the same length when she was cutting them down... First photo is what I asked for second photo is what I got definitely a bummer paying $70 but of course we never like to mention flaws when we're getting our nails done so I just bit the bullet on this one .. It's been a whole year since I last visited Foxy Nails and I was back in town baby for snowboarding! I was snowboarding for a few weeks and the cold absolutely always wrecks my nails. This is the first place I thought of and I was excited to go back. The people there remembered me, it was so so sweet and such a warm welcome. They helped cut my disgusting cuticles and I asked for ombre' nails. And Did they deliver! Honestly I wasn't going to do a bad rating for this shop because we came in an hour and a half before closing, but the longer I look at these nails, the more I can't believe that I paid $75 (& tip) for the nails. We called before we came in. There was no prep work, I'm talking no filing, cuticle pushing/removal, nail cutting. They literally asked my girlfriend if she wanted cuticle oil at the end and then seemed upset when she said yes. I'm the type of person who will tip regardless. This shop staff was RUDE on top of charging $75 for extremely bad nails. The vibe was awful and super uncomfortable. My tech literally walked away after asking me a question while I was answering it among other things. I honestly wanted to leave the shop as soon as possible because they were unbearable to interact with, so I didn't show them how bad they are but they all have eyes and could see how bad they are. One person did the acrylic and another did the paint. A third person looked over my nails before I left. It's like they did bad on purpose. This morning I am filing my nails in the multiple spots that the nail polish glooped up and it starts to leak all over the place due to the nails not being cured. I have to repaint/shape the nails today. I should have just done them myself. read more

I was traveling from out of town to Reno in a panic as I realized I didn't have my nails done for a wedding I was attending on the weekend. After looking through yelp, I came across foxy nails and immediately called late at night the day before, with no expectation of getting in. Patrick and his team were able to accommodate me the next morning early and I am so grateful! Don't be mistaken by the outside look of this place, it's a true hidden gem. The staff are very polite, super nice and very diligent. They don't rush and take their time to make everything look perfect, which is something I so appreciate. My nails also were in terrible condition before coming here so truly a before and after situation in the best of ways. Patrick did such an incredible job. I will be coming to foxy nails every time I come to Reno- they are worth a visit! read more

How much do you charge for a basic pedicure with no polish? (For my boyfriend) is it the same price as it would be with polish?
Our basic pedicure is $35 with or without polish/add $15 for gel polish.
Do they do gel x nails?
They don't do Gel X but they do hard gel. I just switched from Gel X and it's so much more durable, I love it.
How much are powder dips?
